We came here for a show that was in town and it was my first time actually in this place. We had an appetizer and a few drinks, we had mainly came for the show. Our server was great though, answered any questions we had and took care of us. I'd definitely like to go back to try some pizza and wings though. The stage they have there definitely adds to the show because it's an actual stage and gives it an experience to remember.

Early dinner for 4. Ordered 2 salads, cheesy garlic bread, and a large Napoli pizza. Friendly server, food came out quickly, and tasted great. Highly recommend!

Great food. Friendly service. Drinks are tasty and live shows. I have not been disappointed every time I have eaten here.

We recently went to Heirloom Pizza. The moment you walk in, you are greeted with the irresistible aroma of fresh baked pizza 🍕 and a cozy atmosphere. Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu, offering great recommendations. And not to forget karaoke night on Monday. We will definitely be back!!!!

Great deep dish pizza! Wife and I love their heirloom deep dish! One of our favorite pizzas we have had, and probably our favorite deep dish. It's a nice place inside as well, they have a stage and it seems people come and perform and what not, have only ate in restaurant once and we have a toddler so coming to enjoy entertainment here is a little hard for us but seems like a great spot to hang, service when we go for pick up is always great as well. We would always get pizza to go when they only had a location in monterey, glad they opened one up here and hope it's here to stay for the long term. I understand the demographic in salinas but nice that it's not another taco or Mexican style food spot.

Came in for an early dinner, still plenty of people dining but no problem getting a table. Super happy to see a vegan cheese option for the pizzas. You can either customize your toppings or pick one of the preset options which are so creative and delicious! The pulled pork with pickled red onions was a surprising hit! The service was attentive and friendly. I do recommend getting an appetizer as the pizzas (as expected) took some time to come out.

Finally, Old Town has a great pizza restaurant! This is Heirloom's second, long-awaited location, and it was worth the wait. Their deep-dish pizzas are filled with fresh ingredients and topped with a chunky tomato sauce with just the right blend of spices. Order a large, and take home the leftovers.

Food was great. Best deep dish pizza around. The appetizer however took forever to come out, and came out not very hot. The service was incredibly slow, and the music was overwhelmingly loud. Every step of the meal was incredibly slow and we found that disappointing.

Love that they always have Fieldwork hazy! I'm addicted to their baked broccoli (and the Bomb Beets at their Monterey location). Best deep dish pizza in the area hands down. Sometimes I just go with the garlic cheese bread and marinara dipping sauce. Excellent venue for live music too!

Good music, good food, had a newish server, but she tried her best, . We did try a new Lagunitas beer, it was bad LOL. Not this places fault, but just FYI, don't bother. The pizza was delicious. Plenty for all of us in our group and we came hungry, and there were still some left for later. Great vibe, I would go again. There was also some type of fashion show upstairs, that seems like it would be cool to check out too if they rent it out for events.

I came during lunch and was quickly seated. This establishment has been open for a couple of months so it has that new feel to it. It has a large stage, so I hope to catch a performance here sometime. As for the service itself, for it to be so empty, the servers weren't as available for questions and to refill a drink. Price: $30 w tip Sure, I'll go back to share a lunch with coworkers.

Finally made it for dinner. I had to wait at least 90 minutes for a table since there was a big concert going on. The place was packed from like 8 pm on. The venue is lively on Friday nights with live bands performing and changes every weekend. They have a full bar and a handful of beers on tap (which I missed when I was reading the menu). The pizza I had was called the Slider (large 12 inch deep dish pizza filled with sausage, mushrooms, onions and whole roasted garlic). It was so hearty that I could only eat two slices.

Not my style of pizza personally The pizza wasn't good to me at all, especially the dough/ crust it felt super hard like cardboard and wasn't much flavor in the sauce. I personally didn't like it but I took it home and gave some to my dad, he liked it but then again he eats anything haha Service and drinks are good so I'll cut them so slack and give them 2/5 stars for that.

This is a great new addition to downtown Salinas! The pizza was flavorful and very filling, and the cocktails were incredible! There were plenty of seating options; it was open and spacious. It is a casual setting, but still nicer. The servers and bartender were very friendly and took care of our table well. They also have live music on occasion and the night we went was one of those occasions! It was a pleasant surprise!

food was great! we ordered two pizzas, the artichoke jalapeño dip, arugula salad, and chicken wings. could not recommend this enough! the deep dish pizza was amazing, nice crunchy crust with amazing sweet tomato sauce. the jalapeño dip was great too, came with flatbread pita sticks. great service. quick to place our orders and always refilled our drinks. awesome place to go out for music or to hang out. the ambiance was laid back and great to go with family or friends.

Had the roasted broccoli and thin crust pizza. The broccoli was fantastic but the thin crust was a bit too salty and the crust was like eating a very crispy cracker. Disappointed for a $35 pizza. But the atmosphere was nice and the service was good!

Very excited for this new location in Salinas. This is Heirloom Pizza's second location in the central coast and The sad part is when I say memorable about this location it's memorable for all the wrong reasons. With all the new old town Salinas locations and new restaurants opening up there's high expectation.Dubbers an old town staple should be hired as a consultant for some of these establishments - as they are consistent with the service. Their food is always amazing and they can handle the demand and traffic. We were seriously considering about getting up and heading to Dubbers after we received one drink and we're waiting for the rest. I'd like to mention off top the host, who I believe name was Luis who is pictured in my entryway photo was amazing and if it wasn't for him, I honestly believe our experience would've been even worse. We arrived and was promptly seated. However, it took 25 minutes before someone came and asked us if we had any questions and that was the host, who I think could tell by the look on her face is that we were just starving and needed someone to come help us out. A lovely young lady came to ask us if we needed to place our order right as we said yes another gentleman who I'm guessing this was his section looking rather aggravated and shooed her away and said he had it. This was Marcos We went to order our drinks, a mixed drink, which was a Paloma a bourbon neat (a shot) and a can of beer as he was taking our drink order. I politely asked if we could also have water. He quickly hushed me up and said, let me get your drink order first, so I sat there politely, kind of annoyed and figured hey, give him grace 40 minutes later (total) we received one drink, we asked five different people, including our server for the additional drinks and finally the lovely host came by to ask us if we were OK and we told him we were still waiting for the rest of the drinks 45 minutes later, the others finally appeared. We placed our order for two appetizers. I'd like to mention that our server every time we asked for our drinks or for anything in that matter he did look super annoyed . We received the appetizers and we were about an hour and 15 minutes in now - while we were eating our appetizers, a older gentleman that was bussing tables was cleaning the one beside us-asked the man if we can have some of the napkins He was setting the table with. He asked how many and when I said four basically two for me to for my hubby, he looked at me and said 4? Are you sure you don't need a rag?" And laughed. Super rude! I was super disappointed by now. Service is a joke, because of how rude they were. We got to the super red chicken wing as you see in the picture we were done with that appetizer as soon as we saw it and we're super thankful that the pizza came (finally) An hour and a half to get four drinks including water,it seemed like they definitely were judging us and didn't want give us the service that we deserved little did they know that server had the opportunity to make a banging tip , but honestly we're tired of doing that when they are so unbelievably careless and rude- honestly our server was visibly annoyed Every time he came to our table. It's not like we were asking for tons of stuff- AT ALL . And even if we did, isn't that point of a server to provide service to the patrons of the establishment? Weekly we pick a restaurant once a week we treat people how we want to be treated, and we take care of them as they take care of us.By the time the pizza came, we asked for the ranch again one for each of us which we specified in the original order. He brought us one (? We LITERALLY just asked for the 2 sides of ranch)and then when we asked for the other one we had to ask for it three more times before he brought it, they did charge us for this which is understandable but in the same point if you have to ask for it five times you probably should've just thrown it in there. Sad part is the pizza that we had ordered from Monterey and drove it home was better.I understand this is a newly opened establishment however it seems like they have a well oiled machine in Monterey so I don't know what happened here either way it's unacceptable to treat people who are spending $200 with you for a pizza and a few appetizers. Notably mentioned ; when we had first sat down and we're waiting for drinks, we saw another couple come in and wait for about 15 minutes with no one coming to talk to them they got up and left-a little over two hours and $200 and all we wanted it was a really good Saturday night out. The beautifully decorated location definitely has potential to provide that unfortunately I think the staff could care less- all honestly except for the host I believe again his name was Luis.

Large open space. Comfortable. Friendly staff with helpful recommendations. Ritchie was lovely. Recommended two IPAs, nice not too hoppy but easy flavor, appetizer, try the jalapeño artichoke dip EXCELLENT. Very hot at servicing so give it a second to cool some. I prefer thin crust pizza so we ordered the Napoli. Again, excellent. Not greasy in the least and I could taste all the ingredients. Pricing is not ridiculous high but not inexpensive. What is these days. Will definitely put this restaurant in our rotation. Stop at the bar for a beverage and appetizer even. Will keep an eye on the website for live music. Looking forward to that.

We had our Christmas party here and it was wonderful. Staff was great and food was amazing. It was a fun night for all!!

Love the deep dish pizza! Salads are fresh! Staff is friendly and attentive! It could be a great venue for live music too -- they have pro sound and lights, but they just need to add a bunch of sound panels to improve the acoustics.

I was so excited when they first opened. We were ordering food to go quite often. The service to go isn't the best. The last time I went in and ordered food to go there was hardly anybody in the restaurant and I think they might have forgot to put my order in because it took a long time. I finally had to ask once somebody acknowledged me. I waited quite awhile to go back and this time the pizza was good, but the cheese bread was just smothered in cheese and the broccoli was so oily. I have ordered the broccoli before and I've enjoyed it but this time I had to throw it out it was saturated and soggy. I'm pretty disappointed and most likely will not go back.

NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY. Our family went to this restaurant when I first opened and had a good experience. Unfortunately things have changed. It is now definitely not a family friendly location. We went there on Wednesday night to try to have a family meal. It was only around 7 pm. The owner and/or front desk person was unable to sit us, and was rather rude about the whole process. He seem more intent on allowing a younger crowd (people in their 20s and 30s) to come in and buy wrist bands, for what apparently was going to be a concert that was going be happening later that evening. Please be aware that, at least on certain evenings, families are not welcome and the owner will be abrupt and rude, even to your teen-age daughters.

My husband and I are always in the area Saturdays for Salinas's Farmers Market, but Heirloom doesn't open until evening. However, they have started opening up earlier on Saturdays. Yay! We stopped by to try their pizza. We got seated right away. There were only a few other tables at the time. The hostess was very friendly, as was our waitress. We don't have big appetites, so we ordered a small pizza, half Napoli and half pepperoni. Their water, by the way is really good. It took a while to get our pizza, but definitely worth the wait. We could tell the cook took care to make sure all the ingredients were to the edges, and well balanced so that every bite was satisfying. The thin crust was crunchy on the edges, but not burnt at all. Perfectly baked. It was quite good. We want to try deep dish next time and different appetizers too. My husband and I don't drink alcohol, but I did see they have a full bar. The place has a really nice atmosphere. It's tall, warehouse style. It plays an eclectic selection of background music. I thought it was too loud, so I likely shouldn't come on one of their live music nights. Other than that, great stuff! We split a small pizza between us, and had half of it left to take home. Very filling. It was pricier than a lot of chain places, but one bite will tell you that it's REAL pizza, the way God intended it to be! We'll be back!

It was our first time there, and we were impressed with the service, the food, and the owner! We had the Greek salad, which was very tasty. We also had a deep dish pizza and a thin crust pizza. Both were fabulous !

Wings were dry and unsavory, Caesar salad was just $15 for lettuce, but the pizza was good. Get the pizza.

Upbeat music, lively atmosphere, modern decor, friendly service, kid-friendly/family friendly We were seated quickly; service was great except that our food did take quite a while, and we only ordered one menu item to eat. This pizza spot has a more upscale vibe and pricing to go along with it. There is a large stage, so I think they will have live music in the near future. Very good beer menu, great selection Pizza was excellent ! gotta say Well worth the wait! We ordered the Bixby deep dish pizza; it resembled Chicago style deep dish, which was interesting to me because it was better than the Chicago deep dish when I WENT to Chicago. So, wow great job to whoever is making the pizzas in the kitchen. We were told there will be a Tiki Bar upstairs, so next time we're definitely looking forward to checking that out. *I would say to keep in mind there are some young waiters/waitresses who may be new to waiting tables and learning the system, so double check your receipt as ours had an extra charge that they had to go back and correct before we paid. Other than that, our waiter was very polite and attentive.

I understand that the majority of customers might have had positive experiences during my past visit, and I'm glad to hear that. I'd like to share my feedback to help improve the service even further. Three Strikes!! Despite giving this place three tries, my visits have been consistently unsatisfactory- mainly due to poor service. On this occasion we visited on a night they had entertainment and paid a $30 door fee. Once seated we waited nearly an hour for drinks to show up and yet - "they never arrived", however, water on table was aplenty. Follow-ups with our waiter and the owner were acknowledged with the explanation of the shift being understaffed. Notably, the bartender (singular) did have his station full with patrons but what struck me odd is that the owners were floating the floor exchanging extended chat and laughter with patrons and personal friends. Here's a tip: when your team is understaffed as was stated, the owner should step in and support the team by helping them rather than partying. Unfortunately, after several attempts to enjoy the entertainment with a beverage and snack in front of us, we ended the evening early by departing with much frustration (less the $30 each cover fee). The worst part was the owner, "Kristin's" dismissive response when she was asked about the status of our order. The lack of empathy led to our decision to leave. I truly hope this place makes it, but it will need improvement. I have hopes in hearing from the owners to help change my view before I give it another try or recommend it to others. -

I wish it was more affordable. $25 for a pizza is up there. However, the drinks were great!

Stopped by after a hike. Jake was bar tending. Dry January was hampering things but he made me a bitchin mocktail. I ordered a spinach salad, roasted broccoli, and heirloom pizza. Food was delicious, service was delicious. Bar tender was delicious.

Probably some of the best pizza I've ever had. The meatball Chicago style deep dish was AMAZING! A little pricey, but a great meal overall.

I'm no pizza expert, but their pizza is really good! Ordered the caprese salad and the arugulalala deep dish. They put the sauce on top which makes for a gorgeous pizza; flavors are incredible! Our server was awesome! She was so attentive and quick to serve! Will def come back and will def ask for Daija to help us!!!!

I'm not gonna lie we did have issues when we got our order & we were served the wrong pizza! BUT they fixed the problem as fast as they could for five people from the first time & it was still really good once we got that one. I'm sorry but the first one was just as great & we didn't even know it was the wrong one until I thought about it after a slice & they didn't care lol. The beer menu is pretty cool too.

Some of the BEST Pizza on the Peninsula! The Fontina pizza is our go to, but there are all great! The also have the best Gluten Free pizza!

New pizza joint in town. It is in old town Salinas and on walking in it has a nice open feel. Had to drive around for a little bit though before we found parking. We were greeted quickly on arriving and seated within 10 minutes. We ordered the roasted broccoli as an appetizer and it was just ok. A bit on the dry side. Then our 2 pizzas arrived shortly after. We ordered a meatball, sausage deep dish and a large thin crust pepperoni, sausage, mushroom and onion. Both very delicious. A little on the pricey side but I have to say it was good quality. All in all it was a thumbs up. We'll be back.

The pizza is amazingly delicious, I got a pizza with gluten free crust. Very tasty. Uli our server was friendly, funny and very attentive. He wears great earrings too! I recommend the artichoke heart and jalapeño dip, recommend by Uli, was so good and yummy. We are coming back later for the Raggae concert later tonight. Can't wait for the tiki bar to ipen up stairs.

Held a group holiday gathering at Heirloom in Oldtown Salinas and the pizzas were outstanding and the service was great. Great vibe too. Nice wine selection, local and international, along with well done mixed drinks. I tried this potato pesto pizza and it was superb! Definitely check out this place

I am so glad to see another cool restaurant open in old town Salinas. I think the ambience is very cool and lively. Understandably, they are working through some kinks as they just opened, but I definitely plan on going back and supporting this. Another nice this is that the back entrance is open to a parking lot which is super convenient as well.

We came to your restaurant, because there were vegan options. We asked the hostess to see the menu. She said it's posted outside. The restaurant was not full at all. Not welcoming! We left. Appears there is a reason it's not busy.... Customer service is part of the food industry.

We had some errands in Salinas and decided to try Heirloom Pizza, having enjoyed their Monterey location a couple times. We arrived shortly before 5:00 and unfortunately, this visit was disappointing. Despite there being at most, five tables occupied, the service was slow. We were seated quickly, and the waiter brought water and took our beverage order. He returned to take our food order, and my wife asked for a menu to look at. Our drinks arrived about 10 minutes later. We asked if we could order, and the lady said she would send the waiter over. Another 10 minutes passed before we were able to order some wings, which were prepared nicely and arrived quickly and hot. A few minutes later, the pizza arrived, but it wasn't what we ordered. Due to the lack of waitstaff presence and the time, we ate it anyway. The pizza was good, but still , it wasn't what we had ordered. When I shared my honest feedback with the hostess on our way out, her response was simply, "hope you give us another try." Regrettably, that's unlikely to happen. The vibe was just off, lots of focus on the bar patrons and very little in dining area.

Excited for this new offering in town. The building inside and out beautiful. I love the vegan/veggie options, super flavorful. The drink menu is great, you cannot go wrong. The servers are friendly and helpful...however the wait for food is just too long. I took my team and it was over an hour and fifteen to wrap up lunch...and we went early. Hope they can work out this timing issue as the food is amazing!

Great service and atmosphere and the deep dish pizza is to die for ..mmmmm The chicken wings and drinks are also good.A great place to bring the family to eat and the kids love the food also.I will be back here very soon.

If I could give this place a 0 star review, I'd definitely do so. I'm extremely disappointed on the way my family and I were treated by the owner. My family and I were indecisive on where to go celebrate my sister's birthday. We decided to come here because we agreed on pizza. Worst decision ever! Service was slow. Our drinks took a while to get here (25 mins) and place was not packed at all. Our server, although nice and very amiable, looked flustered and didn't put our order in as we placed. She felt bad for not doing so, and paid out of her pocket our second order of baked broccoli. When I inquired about my drink (mojito with alcohol), our server went to go check on it. The owner came back to our table and scolded and yelled at us because two of us ordered mojitos, a non alcoholic and alcoholic. He says this one has alcohol! And this one doesn't. He lectured us about not asking if the mojito he delivered earlier had alcohol, but why would we, his server should know, right! He lectured and argued, and raised his voice, while we all just stared at him. Quite embarrassing for us. So I simply told him, "enough of the arguing, can you please just bring me my drink." He said okay! He never apologized for his behavior, and trust me I didn't enjoy my pizza nor the birthday dinner any longer. The owner tried being nice afterwards but but this time, I was over this place. I'm just wondering, "how many people does he treat this way?" I definitely will not return to this place. The pizza is good, I won't deny this. The place is great! They have a good ambiance. Good music on the background. The owner just has to be less impulsive and humble himself a bit, especially if no one is arguing or giving him a hard attitude time. I can't say I don't recommend this place, just won't be back myself with my family. Good luck! .

Good pizza just be careful when u get a slice it will fall. They will not replace some of it at all. The stand is not balance so be careful. The service was very good though.

Went there at 1:00 pm today and the doors were locked tight even though their hours show that they were supposed to be open from 11-2. Do I didn't get to try the food or experience the ambience.

Got it to go, the ricotta was piped onto the pizza in a few little swirls, but only one bite every other slice had one swirl of ricotta on it and the pizza was SO INCREDIBLY dry. Imagine pizza leather. One large pizza with three toppings: ricotta pepperoni and garlic was $39.00 and nothing else. You make of that what you want, but it seemed over priced to me. Service was quick and friendly. When I asked them when they had live music, he said he didn't know.

I've traveled to NYC and Heirloom's deep dish is better pizza than New York City pizza! I'm not kissing ass or lying I'm just a ordinary customer who enjoys food and at Heirlooms pizza I tried their Original deep dish pizza with the sausage and the tomatoes on top and its to die for! The tomatoes are so fresh and sweet. I dream about this pizza. It tastes so good that it's literally my favorite pizza I had in my whole life. The employees are very nice and friendly to talk to. I highly recommend this restaurant if you're going on a date or out with your friends. Two thumbs up* :D

I am not one to complain but waiting TWO hours to get a pizza is a bit much. The wrong pizza was brought to our table and hour after we ordered and then they forgot to bring the second one 2 1/2 hours later we received our pizza. Kids were starving!! No one came to our table one time to say sorry or apologize for their terrible service.

Let me start by saying I've never been to Heirloom pizza in Monterey. Having new business in Salinas is amazing. Came here 2!nd day of opening and I will say they are working on the kinks for service. Waited an hour for our pizza and we tried to the deep dish and can say not great. The baked wings are awesome and as they work out their wait staff and service it's a good vibe. News playing was not the greatest vibe when coming for dinner but it changed to football within the hour which definitely changed the vibe. The drinks are great. Will recommend the jungle Stirred with the pineapple powder on the rim instead of the side of glass - a little awkward to lick and drink - I recommend asking for it on the rim. definitely a game changer for flavor. Service is a little long as they learn the ropes so I look forward to them improving the long wait for food and water service. Jaylin our server wan great although running around helping other staff learn the ropes from what we observed. We definitely don't like the deep dish with less flavor and look forward to trying the thin crust next time to see if better. I would come back for drinks and wings for sure and look forward to their service improving with less wait time as they work out the kinks. Great vibe with music and games. Lots of potential.

Went to their new location on my birthday in December and everything was fantastic! The food, the service, the ambience. I believe Saul was our server and they were incredibly attentive, helpful and sweet. We will definitely be back and taking advantage of their pick up spot in the back for take out! I highly suggest the chocolate chip cookie with ice cream it was heaven!

Don't know what all the hype was about. Tried for the first time last night. The crust is almost identical to dominos crust. Pizza was mediocre. I'll stick to casa sorrento pizza or pizza factory

Heirloom Live has a slightly larger menu than in Monterey, and it's just so tasty. There were several of us trying the new place in Salinas and we were very happy with the food and drink. We shared a couple of pizzas (el Puerco was incredible), and also had to sample each others' drinks, which were unique and subtle and delicious. Some other reviews have talked about the service but with a new restaurant in an environment where it's hard to find people, let alone good people, I'm cutting them a break. The food is great, the space is gorgeous and the music good. Highly recommend.

I took my family to Heirloom in Salinas this past Friday night for dinner. some friends had gone and raved about it so I was excited to give it a try. The staff was very friendly. They didn't have a kids menu but they made suggestions for my 8 year old that were great! We had the cheese bread and asked for a side of ranch. The ranch didn't taste like ranch, but it was an excellent dip. My son spilled his water on what was left of the cheese bread. The staff rushed to clean it up and even brought us another order, even though we had eaten more than half. We had the heirloom pizza, arugalalala pizza (both deep dish) and sweet and spicy (thin crust). I don't like pineapple on pizza but the rest of my family's said it was great. I really enjoyed the other two. We will surely go back!

Food was great. Service was terrible. There was a long wait to get our food and drinks. I ordered a water to start and it was like a shot glass. The Ambience is good but on the ceiling I'm not a fan.

Was there right when it opened last Friday. The pizza was delicious, my kids and I also enjoyed the cookie and ice cream dessert, awesome!

Great new place! We had the sweet and spicy pizza and it was delicious. Our server was courteous and attentive. I look forward to eating here again.
