Amazing restaurant!!! Everything is so fresh and it’s evident in the quality that the food is made from whole, healthy ingredients. Its food that tastes incredible and leaves you feeling great too, which is surprisingly hard to find! I’ve been vegan for ~10 years and this is one of my absolute favorite vegan restaurants (and I’ve brought non-vegans who loved it too!). High recommend!!

I recently started eating a vegan diet under recommendation from my physician — but eating out has been hard. I was so happy find a dedicated vegan restaurant on a day trip to Charlotte and was especially happy that even their vegan cheeses were house-made from good ingredients. We each ordered something different and traded bites and all were delicious. If you like spicy, try the Chipotle Quesadilla. The Fire & Brimstone burger was also delicious. And the Broccoli and Mushroom Flatbread also hit the spot — love the crispy crust. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring omnivore friends here with me for a meal as the food was that good. I will look forward to coming back.

Amazingly delicious vegetarian food! I’m not vegetarian by any means, but wow this food really hit the spot. To be honest if I could always eat like this I would consider going vegetarian. The nachos were delicious, make sure you get those. At first I was a bit confused on how a burrito wrapped in a leaf would work, but it was great! Definitely recommend this place, if I’m ever in Charlotte again I’ll for sure stop here for some delicious food.

We loved it! We are so thankful to have a vegan and organic restaurant in Charlotte. The food was delicious and the employees were very friendly. We had the nachos, the pimento and cheddar cheese burgers, the brownie and the berry cheesecake.

We had an amazing experience at this restaurant upon arrival. The atmosphere was certainly a great vibe with live music and quaint table settings. We were greeted more than once by the staff. Our server was knowledgeable and informative. The food was delicious and the desert didn’t disappoint. This vegetarian organic restaurant is a must try.

We were visiting family in Charlotte, NC, and fortunately my husband found Luna’s Living Kitchen. I am gluten and dairy intolerant and was delighted to find I could have just about everything on the menu. We were happy to be seated with no wait. Our server was very knowledgeable, personable, and attentive. Ended up ordering food to take home with us. Highly recommended.

Have been to this place for more than 5 years but this was my first time dining there since the covid-19. The parking garage is huge plus because parking was always a huge headache when considering going there. Very friendly staff and liked the patio seating option. Suggest to go Monday-Saturday though because their Sunday menu is reduced. But overall, liked the food and enjoyed the company from friends who I haven't seen for nearly 3 years.

The food is fresh and flavorful. I had a vegan friend visiting from New Jersey, and she loved it. Unfortunately, I had an instance where I was waiting to be seated, and someone of a lighter persuasion was approached and seated before I was acknowledged. I will go back because I enjoy the food, hoping not to have a repeat performance.

Went here for a GF/Vegan breakfast. Coffee was fine, not strong but not weak. Hubby and I had the waffles with fruit. It was as very large and filling. The texture of the waffles were more like banana bread, not real crispy but still flavorful. They were made from cassava flour and oats so you felt somewhat healthy eating them and the berries in them were fresh. I also had golden milk which was good and flavorful. The service was a little slow but we weren't in a hurry and the atmosphere was very nice. Our waiter was accommodating and pleasant. They had 4 desserts in the menu that looked amazing. Hard to choose but we did take one home to try...tbd. Reasonable pricing. We would come back! We would come back.

This is the first vegan restaurant I've tried and the food was much better than I expected! The pear and onion flatbread was super savory with just a hint of sweetness and was my favorite thing we tried. Nachos were super good too with a large portion, the squash based cheese was delicious! The quesadilla was good but so so spicy.. and I love spicy food, it was even a bit much for me, the flavor was good though just load it up with the guacamole. The interior of the restaurant was fun, they had great music playing and overall a good atmosphere. The reason I gave it 3 stars was because my cortado was super bitter unfortunately but that can be easily fixed, also had super minimal foam and was more like and espresso. Also customer service isn't a strength here, our server checked on us and did her job but didn't seem happy about it at all and just seemed unhappy to be there. Everyone has bad days though so I get it, will definitely be coming again though!

Amazing fresh delicious filling and the ambiance is perfect, good amazing staff is always cordial and attentive.

Golden tumeric drink is delicious! I love their tumeric drinks. They have plenty of alternatives for non-dairy milks and other plant based foods. Fabulous grilled cheese sandwich and sweet potato hash side dish. They use a good mix of flavors too. They have really great atmosphere and I like the art & the restaurant design. Good service too!

I am not vegan but I will definitely make this place a regular of mine! This is the BEST vegan restaurant I've ever been to and it's for real vegan! Not the artificial stuff it's the real deal and the flavor profile!!! Is so bomb! Not to mention the aesthetic is so artsy, cozy, and cute! I had the steak tacos and pear jalapeño coleslaw! The coleslaw was spicy with a hint of sweetness I will say if you're not a fan of spice this may not be for you but after I got used to the spice I loved it lol! The tacos were AMAZING the mushrooms tasted just like a tender steak and were flavorful! It also has quinoa in it, which I used to not be a fan of because of bad experiences of it being tough and extremely grainy, but their quinoa was cooked to PERFECTION! My friend had the quesadilla she said it was a bit more spicy than she remembered but it was still good. It was pretty slow when we came and the service was still pretty mid but their food definitely makes up for it!

I'm currently raw vegan and get extremely tired of eating at home. I called before I went and was advise there was an option outside of salads for me. My son and I met a friend there for lunch after his game. The staff was very patient, nice and friendly. The music was great, very chill vibes. I ordered the raw taco salad and she ordered a veggie burger. My son wanted a smoothie. Everything was very filling. I got roe spicy drink with jalapeños and watermelon. It was very good and very fresh. Literally can see the jalapeño seeds floating in the drink, I didn't mind. I recommend 10/10

Absolutely worth returning. Ambiance - 10/10 Service - 9/10 Sweet potato roll - 9/10. A little loosely rolled but great flavor. Charcuterie board - 8/10. Leaned sweet and needed more elements to enjoy the cheeses like crackers, carrots, etc Arugula salad - 10/10. Perfectly balanced and truly exceptional. One of the better salads I've had in recent memory Sweet potato and cauliflower salad - 6/10. Would have been phenomenal as a warm wilted salad with toasty beans, roasted cauliflower, and caramelized sweet potatoes. With all of the elements cold and totally unseasoned it was really lack luster

Living Kitchen is absolutely great! Only reason I didn't give this a 5 star rating was because of the parking and the time it took to get our food. However, I would still rock with this place again! Cassie our server was hands down one of the best servers I have experienced to date. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu, understood the ingredients and flavor profiles and was an absolute rockstar! The spicy mexican bowl was spot on! It delivered on flavor and was absolutely filling. Their chipotle crema balanced well with the fresh avocado and those mushrooms were delicious. The turtle cake was so good that we ordered one to go! This dessert was thoughtful as it had elements of sweetness and crunch without being overpowering. The vibe was also very dope! I wasn't expecting there to be some cool artwork along with some great music. I mean they were playing Selena!! This just might be my new go to for vegan food in the Charlotte area.

Everything on the menu sounds delicious. I'm not vegan, but I do enjoy plant based options when it comes to things like burgers and things that contain egg. Our server was patient with us as we looked over the menu deciding what we wanted to try. She gave some great suggestions, which we were happy with. Portion sizes were great for the price. We actually took some home for later and it was just as good later.

This place is one of the best vegan restaurants in town. It is located in one of Charlotte's trendiest places (South End) with plenty to do around. There are stores and breweries within walking distance, and it has a great city vibe. There is plenty of free parking around. The menu has quite a few options to choose from, including refreshing drinks, cooffee, wine and beer. We ordered the masala plate, the sweet potato sushi and the soup of the day, which was roasted vegetables with rice. For dessert, we ordered the carrot cake and the berry cake. Everything was delicious! Now, be aware that prices are a bit high here, nothing too crazy but it's a bit higer since you are in a trendy location and the healthy food is high quality. 100% recommended.

Visited Living Kitchen with family today as a party of 4. The service was good. We had 2 appetizers, 4 meals, 2 desserts, 2 glasses of wine and an ice tea. Our total with tip $165 Queso with chips: exceptional flavor for vegan queso. Creamy and just the right amount of spice Sweet potato sushi: not my favorite. Sweet potato was raw or at least tasted raw. Two other people at the table liked it. The sauce that comes with it had a nice kick to it. The cheddar burger: great overall flavor but the bun didn't seem fresh. Creamy Cauliflower soup that came as a free side, very good. Nice creamy consistency and a hint of sweetness. Masala: very good and a nice portion for the money BBQ sandwich: subbed GF bread was savory goodness and a nice size potion BLT: so the sandwich was loaded but the sourdough bread was the size of the palm of my hand, rather small. Lots of well flavored eggplant bacon. I asked them to hold the spicy aioli but they added it anyway and the sandwich was too spicy for my taste. I didn't send it back because I ate half the sandwich before I hit the aioli. It's like they tried to scrape it off before they sent it out but the aioli was in the crevices of the toasted bread, ug. The free side Waldorf salad: I felt like the description didn't match the dish. It was interesting. I wouldn't order it again. It was walnut heavy and I didn't care for the texture. All the offer desserts had some type of coconut in them, so I passed but the others at the table had the following options The lemon berry cheesecake was fire! Like it was so creamy and delicious they downed it like they hadn't eaten the meal. The caramel brownie: it was a 3 out of 5. Very chocolaty and rich but the caramel, I've had better. The ice tea had a weird soapy taste which I think was either like a lavender maybe or rose water. I'm not sure but yuck! I was really wanting some refreshing ice tea but this wasn't it. So there you have it. Would I go there again, probably. I'd like to try more of their menu.

Always great food and service and ambiance. Love visiting south end and I always either eat a meal or grab a snack on the go here!

Very cute restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating for nicer weather. The service was okay, but the food delicious. I have been here a few times, and tried the grilled cheese, Caesar salad, sweet potato sushi roll, and spicy black bean bowl. All of these dishes were tasty, but the brussel sprout tacos are the best thing I have had hands down.

We did a girls night out here on their patio. The service was great. The food was fresh and delicious. I really loved my Marsala. The desserts were surprisingly creamy, considering there is no actual cream in them! We will definitely go back. I want to try more of the menu!

After eating alot of non healthy things, my family and I were looking for healthy options and Living Kitchen did not disappoint. They had a lot of VERY tasty options from mushroom burgers, to broccoli cheese soup and amazing kale salad. I so look forward to going again. And the staff is so kid and super helpful when it comes to the options

Great all vegan spot. Nice and airy and clean inside with plenty of live plants. Large menu with something for everyone, even for Sunday brunch. Even pleased the nonvegans in our group. We loved the BLT and crab cake. Great lattes too. I even got a CBD chai latte. Service was good and pleasant. In a cute part of Charlotte with upscale shopping. We will be back.

The taste is absolutely amazing!! Everything g is fresh! The juices are electrifying & the living burrito is soooo delicious! Definitely looking forward to eating here again! I recommend the burrito and the green juice.

I went there for breakfast yesterday. The food was tasty & service was excellent! Prices were a little high for the portion sizes. I'd recommend the chia seed pudding. One thing to note is that they don't have a breakfast menu posted online so it was a little confusing if they were open for breakfast despite the hours posted on their website. But they are open, they just offer a shorter list of items from their main menu. Service was good, our server was attentive and friendly. I could tell it was a popular place, as we were leaving around 9:30 a.m. several more patrons were coming in.

Went on a quick solo trip for an event so was in Charlotte for 24 hours looking for some good vegan food. Found Living Kitchen here on Yelp and saw they had a vegan Cesar salad on their menu (my weakness). My husband always makes fun that I seek out strictly vegan restaurants and then get salads but there were so many other delicious options on the menu that I needed up ordering the pimento burger wrapped in a collard green. It came with a side so I chose the Cesar salad for that and literally had the best of both worlds. The burger had so much flavor!! Skeptical about the crotons on the salad as it stated they were made from eggplant which I don't care for but I seriously could not tell! Love that this place is all organic as well with the cutest walking/biking trail right alongside that I enjoyed just before eating dinner outside on their patio. 10/10 recommend!

I just wanted y'all to know how deeply grateful I am that you opened your AMAZING healthy and delicious restaurant in Charlotte and have been here for 12 years!! I don't think I shall recover after learning of your closing, I am a long term ( most of my life ) vegetarian turned vegan who eats a majority of raw foods for 38 years, So your restaurant was so perfect for me!! And the food always tasted AMAZING!! Where am I going to go on my birthday now lol ‍. I pray that another raw plant based restaurant will open here but it still wouldn't be the same. Your menu and delicious, healthy food could not be surpassed by anyone!! THANK YOU

Traveling as a plant based eater can be worrying - what will I eat? Will it be tasty? WILL I eat? Luckily, Living Kitchen allows plant based visitors to Charlotte to eat, eat well, and enjoy their eating. Our server was incredible - upon discovering we were Living Kitchen virgins he patiently and thoroughly presented an overview of the menu, then spent additional time describing his favorites (as well as pointing out items he doesn't enjoy as much). Based on preferences and hunger level he recommended the Living Burrito (a gloriously flavorful collard-wrapped delight of chipotle hummus, pico, cauliflower rice, sprouts, guacamole, and cashew sour cream) and the caesar salad (OMG that dressing) for me. My dining companion ordered the Fire & Brimstone Burger (house-made quinoa veggie burger generously topped with chipotle sunflower seed hummus, guacamole, and fire & brimstone sauce) and the daily green salad (so fresh and so clean clean) and was similarly delighted. The decor is what one would expect from a trendy vegan restaurant, and the pricing is reasonable for the quality, presentation, and portion size. They offer a separate brunch menu which we did not get to enjoy, but pretty much every item seems like something I will need to try in the future. Thanks, Living Kitchen, for ensuring I didn't go hungry in Charlotte.

Living Kitchen was surprisingly good, I'm not even vegan but I really enjoyed my meal. It came with a decent amount of food and I left feeling satisfied. I really enjoyed the pimento "burger". It was spicy and the bread was nicely toasted. The broccoli waldorf was pretty good as well, it's similar to a ground up broccoli salad. It wasn't super busy, there was plenty of seating. It is walkable from many areas in South End but you could park if you need to, there is a deck nearby.

Really good vegan food! I've been coming here a few times recently and I always have a good experience. The restaurant has a large indoor and outdoor patio area and the vibe is very hip and casual. The waiters are all very friendly and outgoing. The menu is extensive and they offer coffee, smoothies and alcohol along with the food. The food is all very fresh and tastes good, especially for being vegan. My favorites have been the kale caesar salad (although the kale was a bit thick the last time so it was hard to chew), and the Charlie Brown smoothie is very good it tastes like a PB&J sandwich. Definitely recommend if you are a vegan or vegetarian, or if you want to have delicious fresh vegan food!

Tried to eat there last night and ended up walking out. Not welcoming or friendly staff or even any service at all. Hostess seemed miserable. No one acknowledged my partner and I after we sat down for ten/fifteen mins. Waiters walked by and ignored us. Another group sat down and were greeted right away with waters. Waiter walked by and I said are you our waiter? With an attitude, said no and saw we didnt have water and said she'd get our waiter. She proceeded to not do so and we walked out. Very uninviting, not friendly and a terrible experience for a date night. I'll never return.

living_kitchen was an amazing location Downtown Charlotte, NC on 2000 S Blvd. Suite 300. The menu had so many amazing plant based choices. Great for Vegan and Vegetarian. Swipe right for the foods we tried along with the cold pressed juices they offer. Will definitely be coming back here to eat. The location is great the aesthetic is beautiful, tons of natural light and right in the heart of Charlotte.

While traveling to Charlotte for work, I was delighted to find a southern city that offers vegan options for those of us with food allergies/preferences. I stood and waited a good bit before anyone even acknowledged me then acted as if I was a bother to seat me outside on the patio. I was finally seated and waited 25 MINUTES and NO ONE served or even offered to take my order. At 25 minutes, a party of 5 was seated right beside me and the same server, James I believe I heard him say, immediately brought them water and started asking to take their order!! I was furious. Promptly walked to the bar area where the 2 young females that seated me and walked past me were perched - one on her phone and the other counting her tips. I expressed my concerns and they looked as if I was speaking a different language and offered no apologies or anything. I left and called for the manager who offered all the excuses of lack of staff etc etc (old news at this point) and said he would call me back and take care of me. I never received a call back from him and probably won't. If this business can't staff and serve customers without discrimination, then they should be permanently closed and their lazy employees find a real job. I would NOT recommend this place.

extremely clean, fully vegan kitchen. entirely house made menu made from organic whole foods. eclectic options. excellent service and bright atmosphere. 11/10. best spot on the east coast for clean vegan food.

Normally love Living Kitchen but the service provided by Mashawnda P was really bad. She's lacking a friendly personality and not meant for the food device industry. Took too long too greet, too long to come back and take our order and never came back to check on us after the food arrived. Then she asked us to move out of her table section and needed to seat other customers and that we were sitting there too long. She caused us to be there too long by never coming back and providing slow service. It was my friends first time there with me and I know he won't go back.

Very tasty! I got the fire and brimstone burger and it had just the right amount of spice and the guac was super refreshing. The chili was also fantastic - took some home for later.

This is a good vegan restaurant but one of my pet peeves is cold food and they served me a cold burger which would be so much better if it was warm. The soup was very good and warm

we ordered to go with no complaints. super easy process, it was ready on time, and packaged tenderly. everyone loved their meal! the eggplant bacon on my blt was so creative and tasty.

My vegan sister was visiting from out of town and I took her to my favorite raw vegan spot. She said this was the best vegan food she has ever tasted and I agree. The service is always amazing and I love the patio option.

Just finished brunch with my sweet baby girl! I finally tried the sweet potato hash. It was delicious! Miriam loved nachos and had enough to take home!

First time trying Lunas living kitchen and I can wait to go back. It's the cutest place with comfortable couches to sit on. You can post up and get work done. The coffee was good. We tried the carrot hummus bowl and some other sale bowl (forget the name of it) but both were so fresh, huge and delicious. This kind of wholesome food just makes you feel so good afterwards. Left full and happy!

One of the best Vegan restaurants I've been to! It's so relaxed, clean, and overall calm here! But the food was great! I loved the sushi and flatbread! I also tried the orange spritzer which was crisp and tasty! Finally Michael was fantastic! He made some great recommendations and went out of his way to brew tea for us. Finally after my partner and I left he hunted us down to give me my hand sanitizer that I left on the table. I got it in Antigua and would have been heartbroken if I had left it. It was such a gracious and small gesture that I will always be grateful for!

Excellent food and service! I highly recommend the Harvest Salad since I've had it twice now. The smoothies and the seasonal squash soup are also delicious. And the fresh flowers on the tables are a bonus. My friends and I plan to return and continue exploring the menu.

The food here is absolutely amazing . I am not vegan but prefer healthy clean options for eating and absolutely love this place . It's the first vegan restaurant I've seen that didn't have tofu or soy based dishes . Its real whole food. My meat and potatoes eating husband got the nachos and loved them! I've had most the menu and nothing has disappointed -thank you!

Excellent food and excellent service! I completely scarffed down my food, enjoying every bite! We got the Fire and Brimstone Burger and Epic Grilled Cheese sandwich. I can't wait to go back and try some other foods!

We got here around 3pm on a Friday and was greeted friendly. Our server took about 10 minutes to come up, which we didn't mind but others might. The server didn't give us much recommendations, although we didn't ask I wish I would have because the food we choose was good but not great. We ordered the warrior smoothie 7/10, arugula salad 6/10 would have been better with a bit more toppings and less arugula heavy and the sprouts were kinda balled up with dressing, epic grilled cheese 5/10 the sandwich needed more meat to it. Maybe some roasted red peppers or tomatoes to make it pop (so not as epic as claimed lol), and the carrot cake 5/10, I found it too sweet and not cakey like traditional carrot cake but more of nutty flavor. The server was nice enough and we tipped her well.

I am a vegetarian foodie and am such a fan of this place since they opened years back! This is by far the best tasting veggie fare in the city. So many options and flavors, you can't go wrong. Plus their juices and smoothies are amazing! I don't want to forget to talk about how inviting the decor, art, and plants are. Great energy from guest and staff.

This has been my go to place for tasty vegan/vegetarian food, which from what I've experienced, hard to find in Charlotte. They have an array of salads, specialty dishes, veggie burgers and sandwiches. They also have a Sunday brunch menu which I have yet to try. Did I also mention they have a bar that serves smoothies and coffee?! So amazing! Everything I've had here so far has been so good, you wouldn't think it's vegan. A few of my favorites would be the Caesar salad(all kale) mint to be(smoothie) and chipotle quesadilla. The bf loves their BLT sandwich. The service is great, attentive and sweet. The decor and ambiance is awesome. They also have a dog friendly patio that I can see myself coming here to grab a matcha and doing some work on my laptop. This has easily become one of my favorites places to eat/relax.

Probably the worst vegan food I've ever had.Mushy super sweet COLD mushrooms on a meh bun. Runny watery slaw. And some shredded broccoli. Was not worth the price of $15.

Popped in for a quick coffee shop and ended up leaving with a ultra healthy smoothie. Really enjoyed the whole feel of the space. Large, industrial, and full space. Very close to the rail way. We happened to come on a Saturday and stumbled upon the farmers market. Smoothie was great and even discovered spirulina which is in this specific smoothie.

The service was fine, but the food was not great. I got the grilled cheese and it was just one slice of sourdough sliced in half and was basically the portion size meant for a child (for $15!). Disappointing :(

This is a great vegan place! My wife and I enjoy visiting here when we are in town. They have such fresh and tasty dishes!

Absolutely love this place. First and foremost, the food is outstanding. Staff is super chill and inviting - very nice. Vibe is tranquil, outside or in. Just a really pleasant experience.
