Living Kitchen was truly a dream! I'm wishing I had taken more pictures but was too busy eating the delicious food that somehow kept getting better and better with every course. Beautiful place, incredibly nice staff that make you feel at home, and lots of sweet little surprises scattered throughout the experience. 10/10 would recommend!

Hands down one of the best meals I’ve ever had. If I could have the amazing staff at Living Kitchen cook my meals every night for me I would! We had been one time before and it was outstanding so we were excited to go again. Unfortunately the hubby isn’t a big seafood guy and I didn’t realize this was the one night they did the seafood spread. Not only were they observant enough to notice, but went out of their way to offer an alternative to the seafood dishes for him (which were equally amazing btw).I however am a seafood enthusiast and it was all OUTSTANDING. The food is always amazing but the level of kindness, welcoming environment, and customer service is UNMATCHED. One of the servers even remembered me from last time and how I liked my coffee! You don’t get that level of hospitality anywhere else! I will definitely be booking again as soon as possible. If you’re in the Oklahoma area you HAVE to give them a try- you will leave with a full heart and full belly. Thank you so much Lisa & Linda you are a bright warm light in the world and made our rare date night absolutely wonderful.

It took 6 years for the stars to align and finally get reservations and it was the NW Passage dinner! The food was fantastic 😋 The service was amazing. Dessert was a dandelion ice cream. Amazing! The hosts are so passionate about food. I loved hearing about the food and her stories that accompany each dish. I am enthralled by the whole experience and will be booking many more dinners to come. It's a 40 minute drive from my house and quickest route is all back roads through the heart of Oklahoma. Driving with the windows down alongside my husband in his truck to and from a beautiful dinner experience is the perfect date night 🥰

Every experience I have had at The Living Kitchen Farm and Dairy has been nothing short of perfect. This time we came to celebrate my mother's birthday. The staff are incredible, the atmosphere warm and inviting, and every single dish is thoughtful, complex and delicious. I am now obsessed and recommend the experience to everyone. Seem like nice people but you need to know a few things. The dinner is 3 hours long!!! Way, way too long in my book. Was supposed to start at 7 but no food til 7:30. We went in July, BIG mistake, as there is no air conditioning and you eat in an exterior covered and screened in patio. Despite a few fans, limited airflow so was stuffy and hot. Food is fine and the farm to table aspect is nice but overall was a really, really disappointing experience. I would not spend 2 hours driving for this, the juice is not worth the squeeze IMO.

Living kitchen is a wonderful experience! There are many courses. Some better than others. We thought two of courses were excellent and the rest were good. There could definitely been more flavor. I would have loved a southwest spin or southern spin on some of the dishes. The beef dish was flavorless and tough. Short ribs should melt in your mouth. For example, some creamy polenta grits or pepper corn bread would have given the meal the extra boost it needed. It just needed some richness and depth of flavor.

A drive, $150 dinner of so so food. It was a a tomato dinner yes, I’ve never had eggplant that was like shoe leather w/tomatoes on top. The last 3 courses were very disappointing. Lamb okay, brisket slice half fat & tough—dessert was such a weird combo that not dessert at all—it was like a kid made up the combo! My first experience not good & maybe my last.

Wow! This was worth the planning and drive! We went with another couple from Broken Arrow to dine here. It's about 55 minutes from home in Depew, OK and you must reserve quite a bit in advance. No alcohol, but they allow and recommend you bring your own. They even make pairing recommendations. The entire evening was amazing. The venue is beautiful and the entire staff truly welcoming and accommodating. Each two courses were meticulously explained and beautifully presented. The meal started at 7 pm and before we knew it, the final course came and it was 10 pm. We really had a great experience and sampled foods we would have not normally tried. Outstanding!

I've followed this place on social media for a couple of years now, and we finally got around to making a reservation for one of their themed dinners. We chose the holiday one. The drive for us there took about an hour, so we were really hoping it would be great. It turned out amazing - definitely worth it! We didn't know what the menu would be until we got there, only that it was "holiday" themed. Every single course was delicious. Eight courses with a lovely tea for a palate cleanser in the middle - so scrumptious!! The entire dinner took about 2 1/2 hours. We are already talking about planning our next reservation!

We just got back from a wonderful farm tour and dinner at The Living Farm! Lisa & Linda came out to meet us and show us around the farm. It was neat to see exactly where our dinner was coming from. Once inside, we were welcomed by a very attentive staff. The food was amazing, each course described to a T! Anyone looking for a unique dinner experience must make a reservation and head out to the farm!

Forget farm to table, The Living Kitchen Farm and Dairy gives you a seat at the farmer's table. Located about halfway between Oklahoma City and Tulsa on Route 66, this dining experience brings together great, fresh flavors and a farm experience you really can't find anywhere else in Tulsa. Lisa and Linda, the brains behind this experience, put great care into the menu, which features themes like lavender, field and forage and pig roast, and changes each week based on what's available in their garden. Dinner is served at a big, family style table on their screened in back porch. The experience starts with a farm tour at 6:30, where you can feed the goats, see the other animals, get lovins from a big fluffy farm dog and check out their incredible garden you're about to eat from. The property has fun things like a milking barn where they get all their dairy on site and an old, repurposed school bus they call the "hen-a-bago" as it now houses a mobile chicken coop. Though the farm is great, it's the food that really shines here. Eight courses, each with just enough food to give you the full flavor of the dish but not fill you up before the next one, highlight both the incredible breadth of what's growing outside in the Oklahoma soil, but also how incredibly talented Chef Lisa is. My field and forage dinner made me like beets and carrot greens, which I previously never would have even tried, showed me that some things I thought were weeds in my yard are a yummy addition to a salad, and left me feeling reconnected to the land in a way I've never felt before. The only drawback to this experience is that it sells out so quickly, so make sure to mark your calendar for the beginning of June when the second half of the season goes on sale. If you are lucky enough to get a seat at this farmers table some weekend April through October, make sure you take it!

Ok the food is amazing, but the whole dining experience is really what makes this place memorable. I've been here twice, for the garlic dinner and the pig roast. If you're interested in dining here, planning ahead is a must, as their dinners typically sell out months in advance. I recommend signing up for their email list so you have a heads up when the season's reservations open. They offer an optional farm tour before dinner, which I enjoyed. Dinners are served on the porch of a rustic cabin and are BYOB. I thought all of the courses were unique, complex, and delicious. I will definitely be dining here at least once a season!

What a unique experience. The hosts were amazing. You can start with a tour of the farm then a short drive to the cabin where dinner is served. Community style tables adds to the experience. They have a great tea selection. Ranch Acres provides course by course wine/beer options and they have coolers to ice down you beverages on arrival but we traveled with ours in one. Each course is presented prior with its inspiration. 7-8 course of seasonal foods the big theme while we were there was carrots. Soup, purée and sour dough the sky was the limit. Finished with an amazing dessert. Since there are fans/heaters, you are on a back patio so weather may add to you enjoyment, spring or fall may be better options if you are bothered by extreme temperatures. We will definitely be back!

We stumbled upon the Living Kitchen Farm & Dairy after reading a review fromourvfriends at Big Truck Taco who had been a guest chef at one of their Farm Table dinners three years ago. What we readvintrigued us and we staked out on year web page and waited for them to announce a new seaso of dinners in 2013 and signed up for a few. Lisa is a phenomenal chef who came to OK to experience farming after embracing the farm to table and locally sourced movement in her Seattle restaurant. Lucky for us that she fell in love with Oklahoma and decided to make it her home. Together with Linda they established the farm and raise goats, chickens, llamas, cats, bees, dogs, and more all while working the land and raising fresh vegetables and making goat cheese on their certified organic farm. Throughout the Spring, Summer, and Fall they hosted themed dinners, based upon what is in season at the moment, and open the farm up to visitors. From foraging dinners that include whatever they find in the fields, to strawberry, garlic, and tomato themed dinners on down to a Red Dirt dinner, and a pig roast to close out the season, there is something to appeal to every taste bud. These aren't just meals, these are culinary experiences that will blow your taste buds away. The dinners are held on the back porch of an old log cabin that has me thinking it would be an ideal spot to be snowed in with a roaring fire, several good reads, and lots of left overs from one of Lisa's fabulous dinners. Seated at two long tables everyone gets to,know one another as the meal progresses. Ive kept I. Touch with several other guests we have met at dinners and we even meet up again at other dinners each year. With the themed dinners, wine recommendations are made for those non oenophiles that need a little help with a pairing as it is BYOB. Water, iced tea, and coffee are provided, but brining your own adult beverages is a must. Bring some friends, make some new ones, and enjoy one of the best meals you have had in awhile. You'll need to line up and book far In advance when they open reservations two times for the dinners. i love, Love, LOVE the Farm Table dinners and the folks at Living Farm. Linda always has a warm smile and welcomes guests as they arrive for the pre dinner tour. If you go in Spring you may have the pleasure of bottle,feeding one of Her baby goats too. Precious babies and oh so sweet! If you can't make it to the farm for a dinner, they have a booth at the Cherry Street Farmers Market in Tulsa on weekends with fresh produce and tasty treats. We will be visiting the Farm this weekend for their Starwberry dinner,,,one of our favorites! Can't wait to see what surprises they have in store for us!

There is probably no evening out that we look more forward to than dinner at the Living Kitchen. Over the past two years, we've gone to four different themed dinners and enjoyed the Heirloom Tomato Dinner last night. Even in 100-degree temps, the entire evening was enchanting. I love that the dinners are served on two long tables in their screened-in porch - a lovely setting in nature where you actually have a chance to meet and visit with fellow diners. The courses are served 10-15 minutes apart, so nothing rushed about the evening and plenty of time to savor the culinary expertise. The farm owners and artists Lisa Becklund and Linda Ford (and staff) prepare courses that showcase the featured bounties and introduce you to new tastes and flavor combinations. Visit their web site and learn when the gates open to make reservations for future dinners - they sell out quickly! Next month we will go for the Shades of Summer dinner and next year, I will definitely make reservations for the Heirloom Garlic dinner. The best way to describe this dinner is an enchanting evening with constant surprises of delicious food experiences in your mouth! Forget that it's healthy organic farm food - the presentation and tasty notes will fool you! And, it's BYOW with no corking fee, so a very affordable dinner out!

The farm-to-table movement is gaining momentum in Tulsa and the Living Kitchen and Dairy is at the forefront. I learned about these dinners at Living Kitchen from a friend last year, so when I had the opportunity to attend the Found and Foraged dinner event, I hopped at the chance. Linda and Lisa do an incredible work here and it was totally worth the wait, leaving me in anticipation for my next visit. When we arrived we were treated to a short tour by Jackie, who is one of the state's foremost wildcrafting experts. I learned how yarrow muddled with olive oil for a month can cure just about anything when used as a salve, and that the puff ball mushroom look exactly like a marshmallow on the inside when it's perfectly ripe for sautéing. We would have trekked further but it was so muddy from the rain we decided to pour some wine for ourselves to whet our appetites for first course, but I will say that I am now keen on the idea of urban foraging. Who knew there is such a vast recourse in our literal back yard!? This place is called Living Kitchen for a reason: the ingredients are harvested, foraged, laid (eggs), or butchered just moments before serving. I don't think I've ever had such a fresh egg in all of my life, and believe me, it was glorious! What also brings life to this dining experience is that if you want to get involved, you can! I helped "detail" the heirloom carrots (see photo), wild garlic, and the poor man's pepper for the poke soup. Chatting in the kitchen of this rustic cabin while we prepared the meal connected me to an era when this was everyday life. 100 years ago people would forage and prepare meals from the land. It gave me more of an appreciation for what Mother Nature can provide for us. I also was so impressed to see chef Lisa in her natural element. Since they forage and harvest the day of, she did not even know what she was going to prepare for each course. Watching the dinner evolve from baskets of raw food to delicately prepared entrées in her mind first and then on our plates was truly extraordinary. The friendly, active, and delicious experience I had at Living Kitchen and Dairy makes me want to go back as soon as I get the chance, and I recommend you do too. They offer these dinner events on weekends from about March through October. I'm hoping they extend their season eventually, giving more opportunities to attend, because they sell out fast.

Let me tell you about my new favorite thing/place in Oklahoma: Living Kitchen Farm and Dairy. Living Kitchen is not a restaurant; it is a working farm that hosts farm-to-table dinners on the enclosed back porch of a cabin with views of wild land on the farm property. In order to attend one of Living Kitchen's popular dinners, you must complete a reservation request on their website during the open period (twice per season). Dinners are based on a particular seasonal theme. The dinner I recently attended was Field and Forage, a ten-course homage to early spring. Each (small) course was beautifully presented and identified. The chef did a fantastic job of describing many of the interesting dishes in order to inform guests of the unique ingredients or tasting notes. Most importantly, the food was excellent. It is apparent each meal is planned and executed with love, thoughtfulness (both in terms of roles as chef and environmental steward), and creativity. I've been at a loss of descriptors for this dining experience for a few weeks; the best I can do is describe it as unique and beautiful. If you are looking for an exquisite (yet genuine/unpretentious) dining experience in Oklahoma, this should be at the top of your list. Also, you might be greeted by a llama, a goat, or a genuinely happy farm cat or dog. This is the best way to spend a Friday night in Oklahoma.

Bunches and I went for our anniversary. If you want fresh organically grown, wonderful service and amazing dining experience this is the place. Honestly I've not been happier with the whole package they provide, at any price. Great job ladies
