W San Francisco’s General Manager Paves the Way for Gender Equity

"That sense of connection is inherent to W San Francisco, and can be found in the lobby’s Living Room Bar. Lit up with playful pink and blue lights, the open space was designed as an extension of the rooms and suites so that guests can more easily meet. This is especially in line with the hotel’s location adjacent to the Moscone Center, where major conventions and gatherings are held frequently. Of course, it’s not only convention-goers that find themselves mingling here: locals love the vibrant atmosphere and artfully-crafted cocktails, too (don’t sleep on the Mission Paloma)." - Ali Wunderman

This place is beautiful! The ambiance is magical, romantic and cozy. The atmosphere there is so peaceful. I went to an event for a launch and it was awesome!

WATCH OUT HERE.... not only do you have to look over your shoulder, in this city but apparently the bartenders here want to take your money too.. I left a pretty good tip but I guess that wasn't enough as when I got my card statement, an extra five bucks was added. tried to reach out to no avail as I guess nobody checks the voicemail here so had to dispute charge via Amex. Nice atmosphere but check your bank statement when you get home.

Service suspect. Waitress breezed by and said “let me know if you have any questions” and then disappeared for 10 min. Then delivered wrong food because menu had changed (without asking or notifying us). Average food.

Google
Their "herbed buttermilk dip" with their chips and dip.. is just flavorless ranch. Actually more disgusting. Why the heck would someone want stale potato chips with ranch for like $10.00...

Good service. Clay is great. Live DJ sometimes. Very expensive. $20 drinks. Bryce is a class act:)

The cocktails were ridiculously expensive and mediocre, def would not recommend and not revisiting the bar!

Cozy spot for a quick drink and snack. A little expensive but the house cocktails are good!

Yelp
Location 3: On ground floor inside the W Hotel (a Marriott property) in downtown San Francisco, CA. Street parking practically non-existent. Paid parking at the hotel as well as nearby public garages. Hotel offers valet parking for a fee. Venue 4: Small-to-medium venue. In the middle of the lobby/ground level, so no views. Nicely decorated. Bar sitting and high tables with service. Service 2.5: Polite but very slow. Takes a long time before a server approaches you, and it takes even longer to get your drink. If you are seated at a table, servers also do not like it if you step up to the bar and try to order a drink (for faster service) and they make it known :) Food ?: Did not have any food. Drinks 4: Small assortment of beer, wine and a few specialty cocktails. Full bar. Quite pricy. At the time of my visit cocktails are $24! The last word 3: Convenient place to meet up with friends and colleagues and have a beverage, IF you are staying in the hotel!

Yelp
Excellent service, great ambiance, crispy and crunchy French fries, and delicious drinks. Highly recommended!

Yelp
We've been here more times than I anticipated as I'm not one to patronize hotel outlets. But, that's the way our cookie crumbled on this particular weekend. Plus, if you're staying in the hotel, you receive a use it or lose it $35 daily "credit" good for F&B. It's actually the mandatory daily amenity fee you're already paying, in reverse, if you will. Genius idea BTW. ATMOSPHERE: They're the lobby bar of W San Francisco. Smooth house tunes constantly played overhead, complete with an electric fireplace, floor-to-ceiling windows with festive string light decor, sofas, high tops, bar seating and even a retro arcade game table. RESERVATIONS: Not needed. DINNER MENU: Bar-style apps, soups, pizzas, steak, poultry, desserts. Broad drink list. BEVERAGE: JCB Crémant Our gang enjoyed a bottle of this sparkling wine prior to dinner at nearby Mourad. Ultra smooth. Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc - $15.00 The spouse and I enjoyed this polished SB thereafter. Knighted Mule - $19.00 I told you we were here more than anticipated! My vice, vodka, was refreshing and citrusy. FOOD: Truffle Fries - $12.00 Thankfully there wasn't a hint of nasty truffle oil at all. Now, if we're talking about the real deal, go ahead and shave it on! Crispy & served hot. Chips & Dip - $9.00 The simplest things in life are the best! Kettle chips and creamy buttermilk dip, period. Crispy Chicken Wings - $20.00 (8 pcs.) We opted for buffalo sauce which was mild in spice but not flavor. Why are chicken wings so pricey everywhere? Pepperoni Pizza - $22.00 Mushrooms were included. I'm not a fan of thin crusts but theirs was decent as it had some chew to it and wasn't cracker-like. I like cheese but man, someone had a heavy hand in the kitchen. We also had to ask for more sauce as it was severely lacking. SERVICE: Bartenders were friendly and attentive, as was the server. OVERALL: If you don't feel like venturing out of the hotel, you could do a lot worse.

Yelp
I was staying here and after I came back from working out and cleaning up I just didn't feel like going anywhere so I decided to be that guy and go to the hotel bar for a drink. For a Thursday evening it was surprisingly busy but I managed to get a seat at the bar closer to the restaurant side. I wasn't expecting much but I figured they would make a decent Old Fashioned, and they did. I didn't want to eat late but I was feeling some hunger pangs so I flagged down a bartender and asked if the kitchen was still open. It was, but was running on a limited menu so I went with the chicken fingers which were surprisingly good: crisp but light batter, not too greasy but the fries were pretty sparse. I wanted a little spice to it but it took a while for one of the bartenders so I could ask for some hot sauce. I finished the night with two of their local beers-one of which was 21st Amendment, which is local but can be found pretty much anywhere now. I would hope that they might go a little deeper into the beer scene. The so-so service and the innocuous beer selection make it ok overall, but if you don't feel like going anywhere while at the W why not.

Yelp
If you're staying at the W, they charge you a $35 "destination fee" that you can use at the hotel bar. This fee meant we had drinks at this bar three nights in a row, each night around 9pm. Service was prompt but a bit unusual. The first night there was a DJ and a whole bunch of bartenders and servers. They seemed stressed out and we overheard them talking about closing service early. The second night we went to the bar hoping to order drinks and sit down at the Pac Man machine, but they redirected us to a table, even though other people seemed to be able to order drinks at the bar. The third time, Goldilocks style, was just right, with a friendly server remembering our wine orders. Wine and cocktails were good but a high price point - we wouldn't have had drinks where without the credit. The first night we tried the southern chocolate cake which tasted kind of stale, packaged, and Sara Lee. If we stay again we'd stick with the drinks. I do want to note me noting there was a Pac Man machine might make it seem like it was a dive bar or arcade - it was mostly a trendy dark hotel atmosphere with loud music.

Yelp
They just launched a new cocktail and it is a vibe! We ordered "W After-Party" and it's so delicious I want more. Each night they have a DJ playing house music and it's a great place to grab a bite after work or before your night outs. The Staff is super nice and attentive, great service :)

Yelp
We enjoyed the guacamole and chips but the cinnamon roll was amazing, flaky layers of cinnamon sugar like a croissant. That morning we were in Trace which is the same menu. I drink my coffee, black, theirs was very good. The bowl of berries was ok, I had to pick a few old ones out. Eggs Benedict was perfect.

Yelp
Nice ambience and music for a Saturday evening. Probability of you getting drunk is higher with a bottled water then their high priced and watered down drinks.

Yelp
The roommate and I were meeting my parents in the area for dinner. Since we had time to kill, I suggested we stop by The Living Room for a quick drink. We walked in on Tuesday, August 15th around 5:45pm. It was moderately busy, but we managed to find two seats together at the bar. I wanted something light, so I had with a glass of bubbly - Mumm Brut Prestige: sparkling, Napa ($14). The roommate ordered a pour of Oban 14 ($19). The pour was measured, so your standard single. Though the Oban is priced more than most places I've been to. The atmosphere here is kinda modern and clubby. Not really my vibe, but reminiscent of xyz upstairs. Though I don't think that exists anymore? Whether your wardrobe is dressy or casual, you'll fit right in as I saw people in all different kinds of outfits. The roomie and I were dressed up as we were going to a fancy dinner later, but I saw people in t-shirts and backpacks. Glad I checked out a new bar, but this place isn't really my scene. Plus, my pocketbook can't afford it!

Yelp
Probably the best hotel bar to people watch in the city. Super friendly staff and life DJ on the weekends. Worth going, even if you're not staying at the W.

Yelp
When you grab drinks at the W Hotel, you've got to expect the high price that comes with dining/imbibing at a swanky brand. If you look around at the other clientele, it's obvious that that this is where the real wheeler & dealers come to close the deal or wine & dine their client. Sure enough, The Living Room Bar & Lounge certainly lives up to the high price-point. I came here for a work/happy hour meeting the other day. I ordered cocktails for both me and my client, and the total bill came out to $34 (not counting gratuity or tip). OUCH! Welcome to SOMA/San Francisco 2018, baby! Needless to say, this bar isn't for everyone. So let me sum up the pros & cons: PROS: - Central SOMA location; near Moscone Center and walking distance from the Ballpark. - Warm, inviting interior. There was plenty of open seating at the bar, at two-tops, and at fireplace lounge. - Friendly, attentive bar staff. - Eclectic cocktails. - Free WiFi CONS: - Very very expensive. Expect to pay $15 - $17/cocktail any time of day (not counting tip/tax). - The lighting is a bit bright for a swank bar. It felt more like an airport lounge. - No happy hour specials. All in all, the Living Room Bar & Lounge is a decent place to grab a quick drink (whether you're meeting with a client or a date). But I wouldn't make a night out of this place. Instead, I would use this bar as a starting-off point before you embark on a night-on-the-town.

Yelp
I've stayed at the W in SF two times. One for fun (bachelorette party) and the other for work. The Living Room Bar and Lounge is their lobby/lounge area. I feel like no matter what time of day it is, you feel like you are at some night lounge haha. It is on the darker side and is decorated as so. My visit for the bachelorette night (a Thursday night) we came back to the Living Room Bar and Lounge after we were about done for the night. It was probably around 2am. It was not crowded at all and seemed as if they were turning the lights up to make everyone go home haha. We sat by the bar for a little bit and had some fun. When I stayed at the W for work, I did not spend many late nights (none at all haha) in the lounge. However, I did spend some time there during the day and at night. It seemed more crowded this time than the time before. Overall, it is a nice bar and lounge. I feel like everyone who goes there is there for business related trips. Does not seem like much of a place where locals go. At night there is a DJ playing music. The overall vibe is fun and, shall I say, sexy. Haha.

Yelp
The bar is inside W hotel, they have good craft cocktails and you can get it custom made. and I loved the music. Don't expect this place to be crowded even if it's a Friday night , mostly hotel guests end up being their customers.

Yelp
DJ...boots and pants and boots and pants...$8 beers and $11 Svedka...boots and pants... Fast and loud music, overpriced drinks, the "it" crowd"...SUPER SUPER slow service, but it's a nice looking lounge and someone was honest and kind enough to turn my friend's cell phone into the bar staff after she had left it in the bathroom. W-W-What?! W Hotel...

Yelp
I can't remember the last time I was here, when I came back last week, I thought I entered the wrong place! The place has been newly renovated. More contemporary than the previous design. They moved the bar area a little bit towards the center, used to be in corner. And where the restrooms used to be, are now the elevator area. The ladies restroom is now towards the left end of the bar and the men's? Well, it's upstairs. When I was inside the ladies room, a guy came knocking on the door. I didn't know what he wanted but I thought couldn't he read the sign? Later on, my boyfriend had to use the men's room. He came back and told me where the men's room was. And we both laughed thinking what that man wanted. All I hoped for that man is make it to the restroom if he found it before he peed in his pants. The sofa is quite a bit stiff. Although it has this sleek look to it, the previous was more comfortable which also had the contemporary looks in it. The big fireplace which as far as i remember has always been there, gives you this cozy feeling while you sip and enjoy your drinks. Drinks have always been really good here. Never failed me. I ordered Tequila Sunrise and Mai Tai. Me likey! Had their Manhattan before and it's what's making me want to come back over and over. The best I've ever had. We tried one of their bar food. It was $16 an order before tax. It was fancy version of a pulled pork with crispy gnocchi in it. Not bad.

Yelp
I may spend more nights at the San Francisco W than I do at my own home in Chicago. I've spent many nights at this bar of my home away from home. In fact, it makes the perfect late night office because it's always more fun to get some work done with some wine and grub. On my most recent visit I enjoyed a lovely glass of riesling and their flatbread. The service was a bit slow, but friendly. And my flatbread was pretty tasty. You'd think the crowd would be all travelers being a hotel, but it always seems to be a mix of locals and travelers. It seems that those who work in the area often make their way here for happy hour. It makes my "office" a little crowded, but all the more fun.

Yelp
I love me a W hotel. I mean, seriously, you're not going to find a bigger fan. They're beautiful, hip, trendy, the crowds are cool, and the vibe is just spot-on. I stay at the W every time I have the option to... in Hong Kong, in Taiwan, on both ends of Los Angeles. But seriously, this was the slowest service I've ever had. 45 minutes to have one round of drinks? We left and went back to the Castro for our second round because at that rate, we'd die of dehydration before closing time. Something was very very off on Saturday night, and it wasn't even that busy.
google avatar

Sedine S.

Yelp
This place seems like a great place to go on a Friday. There is a live DJ and all. One time, my friends and I sat down at one of the couches. We looked over the menu and couldn't figure out what to order in between conversations/catching up, etc. One of the servers walked over to us and looked annoyed. He then told us, "Why are you sitting here if you're not going to order?!" The tone was very rude. Excuse me, may I have a few minutes? It's not like it was overly busy either. We ended up just flagging another server down. This one was very courteous and helpful and patient. We got our drinks and that was that. A second stay at the W, I sat at the bar for a few drinks to unwind after a business trip. This was a Sunday evening so there wasn't any music going on. Attentive bartenders. I also got some spicy peanuts to munch on. They have a nice kick to them. Definitely goes well in between sips of your alcoholic beverage.

Yelp
Nice ambiance, good place to stop for pre dinner drinks. I enjoyed my mojito. Bartender was friendly.

Yelp
Due to close proximity to Yelp HQ, I stay at this W hotel a fair amount, and inevitably find myself enjoying a beverage or two at the Living Room Bar down in the lobby. Unlike most hotel lobby bars, this one features prominently in the lobby, and often erupts in to a sprawling party that spreads from one end of the lobby to the other. It's an interesting dynamic but one that fits pretty well with the hotel's overall vibe. Drinks here are decent but not exceptional, and the prices are in line with an SF hotel bar (a few $$ more than surrounding high-end bars). Where you really get nailed here are the straight pours, which aren't cheap. I always find it funny that I can get a $12 cocktail with 4oz or more of booze while a 2oz pour of a similar spirit will cost $2-$4 more. I prefer straight pours, so this always vexes me. Order wisely, people! Aside from the prices and the overall crazy party atmosphere, this bar is A-OK. The service is quite good, the drinks are speedy, and it's not as boring or cheesy or dumb as your usual hotel bar. That they serve pretty much anywhere in the lobby (including the couch areas near the east windows) is a bonus.
google avatar

Frances H.

Yelp
A sleek, stunning space fit for the fanciest of people, but instead stacked with trendy, excited guests and locals alike eager to see, be seen, and sip some cocktails. The chic, clean lines and muted colors matched with pops of bright purple and the appropriate amount of LED twinkle lights make for a lobby and bar that anybody would want to wind down in. The open floor plan with a comfy seating area with over sized couches and low tables also create a scene conducive for a good mix intimacy or cocktail party with all your closest friends and cool new strangers. It's the W hotel, so the prices can be steep, but this place is not deceiving. You definitely feel like you're in a place where it's okay to pay $12 for a martini.
google avatar

Jenny L.

Yelp
11.29.12 It's loud. It's trendy. The prices are what you expect to pay at a W. But it comes with quick and attentive service. It's a great place to people/tourist watch. Last time I strolled in, someone had to rush behind me because she was already too drunk to remember how to open a door. Oh, San Francisco...
google avatar

Alden C.

Yelp
If you're staying at the W in SF and need to meet up with people, or grab a quick drink (or some free AM coffee), this is your spot. Otherwise, SF offers up such a wide variety of restaurants, bars, coffee shops and more that you don't really need to make a point of coming to the Living Room. The Living Room serves as the lobby, downstairs bar, and morning coffee area for the W, and sometimes features a live DJ, giving the whole place an odd clubby feel. Upholsters banquets with low seating offer the hip a place to utilize the free wi-fi and sip somewhat overpriced cocktails. While not my favorite part of being in SF, or even staying at the W, I did enjoy my morning cuppa and the ability to sit down when necessary. Yay W!
google avatar

Kevin N.

Yelp
A room ostensibly packed with both the living and the lounging, this ever-present bastion of the W Hotel provides both a light break from the part of the hotel experience where, for instance, you go upstairs and drop your bags off, and another part of the hotel experience, where you're outside. It's upscale, but not so much as to render itself uncomfy to those camping there for a few days, and the bar staff seemed on point during my recent visit: the beer selection's solid enough (some expected staples, nothing particularly pedestrian), and they're at the ready to shake together a cocktail or pour a tall glass of wine should the occasion warrant same. It is perhaps a credit to the W folks that the lounge seems both on point and comfortable by way of slightly upscale. And you can make the argument that any place where you spend that much time in a hotel that's not your hotel room backs out as much against your sipping companions as anything else. And if that's the case, score this one a win for the W San Francisco. It certainly fit the bill this time out.
google avatar

Colleen B.

Yelp
Posh, lights on the walls, on the bar... neon colors with a black backdrop. This place screams trendy and it's pretty cool. Set in the lobby of the W hotel where XYZ lounge use to reside, this sets the mood for when you enter into a fabulous hotel: Music pumping, drinks flowing, lounge furniture inviting you in. You ask yourself... did I just enter a club or a hotel? It's awesome. Everytime you walk through you want to mingle. They make a pretty decent cocktail and the quickest service is when you are at the bar.
google avatar

Xerxes N.

Yelp
I might just replicate one of the rooms in my future house the same exact way this lounge is set up. It's hip. It's cool. It's trendy. The lounge area is set up to what appears as a series of extra large booths --- minus the dining room table. A group can settle just in and talk amongst each other while a couple can quietly romance themselves in conversation. Business men and women can engage in important talks. All this happening within your booth yet you get so drawn into the environment you feel as though you and your entourage are the only ones there. Grab a drink. Sit back. Relax. People watch. Both tourists and locals enjoy the W's fabulous hotel bar. Change the scene and hang out at the bar for a drink. You're eyes will constantly be fixated on the changing colors of the bar countertop as you converse your way with friends into the late hours of the evening and the early hours of the next day. The Living Room Bar and Lounge is my kind of hip, cool and trendy spot to relax for the evening. It's perfect for this hotel and keeps me from having to walk elsewhere to have a good time.

Yelp
Tonight is the grand opening of the much anticipated Living Room and Lounge at the W Hotel. It is beautiful! They have a terrific cocktail menu and most of the cocktails are $13.00. Try the Bliss cocktail ... Grey Goose Citron with cucumber and lemon. Very creative! It may have taken since July to re-open ... And it was definitely worth the wait! Cheers!

Yelp
{ overall experience : average } * went there with a group of friends for drinks * interesting mix of people ^ people on the prowl, all decked out ^ people there for the gaming convention, backpack, tennis shoes and high waters ^ people that look like they're "working" the room, if you know what i mean *wink* ^ the johns for the people "working" the room { design/decor : high } + it is a W hotel and i do love their clean/modern design - staff uniforms are a bit cheesy, looks like they just came from a disco +/- lighting nice and dimly lit almost in every area, except ours (way too bright) { staff : average to high } + friendly - under staffed (at least that night) + waiter was very attentive { drinks : average } -/+ drinks were ok, but not for the price - price +/- selection/variety was not bad

Yelp
Great place to meet locals or visitors to the city. I sat down and in a matter of minutes I met some great new people that I would have never met otherwise. The wine list has some great selections by the glass and I was impressed with the Whiskey selection as well. Very friendly and attentive bar staff.
google avatar

Yelp
Very good drinks. We had agave margaritas Outstanding! Top service. A place were a lot of Asians hung around. Maybe a convention or so. But it cold have been a place where asians prefer to Grand Hyatt to stay in general.

Yelp
Review for Warriors Watch Party. Surprised this is advertised as a location for such. The area they set up was so small and they were projecting it on a small sheet/projector screen. There was room for about 10-15 comfortably. Others could potentially sit on the other side of the bar and try to catch a peek through the shelves, stand on the side, or sit at the side with a slim view of the screen. I'd opt to watch at a local bar or make the drive to Alameda to watch at the theater with a larger crowd and more comfortable seats.
google avatar

Christina G.

Yelp
So I liked the moniker XYZ Bar better; but The Living Room is still a sweet place to get your sip on. After renovations, this place is feeling even more club-like. Purple back-lighting, and cool bar with light cut-outs. It's loungier against the windows, and all bistro tables and bar, across the aisle. Drinks are priced high, IMO, even for SF. A glass of prosecco ran me $11! But the bartenders and cocktail waitresses are all smiles, and prompt. Very posh, this bar fits right in with the W. But for folks looking for a more laidback nightcap at their hotel, my advice is: Stick to the mini bar.

Yelp
This is a an amazing place to hang out at before or after your adventures in the City. We came here to take a break before heading out for part 2 of our evening. The whole bar lights up in rainbow colors, in a very chic, totally hot way. The huge light fixture when you first walk in in the shape of a jelly fish is nothing short of amazing!!! And the fireplace seating is so warm and inviting. I absolutely love our experience here!
google avatar

Carmelo W.

Yelp
Crazy packed during the RSA Conference. Waitress was over-allocated. Where they not expecting one of the biggest security conferences to come over? We are the sexiest, spendiest, of all IT professions :)
google avatar

Aileen D.

Yelp
It's a beautiful space but the service is slow. The jellyfish-like chandelier is surreal. The crowd was a mix of touristy to fashiony to WTF to wedding guests. Prices are typical of such loungey-type bars. Thankfully, we had free drink coupons.
google avatar

Carla C.

Yelp
I like this place either to start off your night or for a nite cap. The after work crowd is energetic yet chill at the same time, while the "after hours" crowd is just as good. You can have a conversation no problem, and not be bothered by elbows or drunken banter. I've also never had a problem finding seating, be it at the bar or at a hi-top. Bartenders are friendly and quick. Overall, the Living Room is a sure good time. 3 stars from me!
google avatar

Yelp
This is my favorite go to bar/lounge in the city. It is great place to start off or end your night. The atmosphere is trendy and upscale without being overly stuffy. The wait staff is friendly and quick. I love the corner booth by the fireplace - this is the best place to curl up and relax with good company and hang out while sipping drinks :)
google avatar

Ren L.

Yelp
After dinner, we stopped here for drinks. I grabbed a Black Russian and sat and observed the lounge like a sociology experiment. Being in this place reminded me of being at the Cosmopolitan in Vegas, with all the 20-somethings lounging around the Chandelier being all 20-something like. I miss being in Vegas with friends. Being in this place doesn't help one bit. Though sipping my Black Russian probably had something to do with it.

Yelp
Came here with a group of friend's for my boyfriend's birthday. The bar located in the lobby of the hotel. There was a DJ at the beginning of the night and we got a table/booth right by the DJ. The tables are first come, first serve. This place has great ambiance whether you're grabbing a drink with a date or a group of friends. Their fried chicken is amazing, very crispy. The servers were great and we had an awesome time.
google avatar

Adam E.

Yelp
I was actually quite pleased with this place. I hadn't seen the place since they remodeled it. The music was too loud to talk, but the layout was really nice and comfortable. There were plenty of places to sit and they had cabana seating upstairs as well as another bar. A clean modern place with a good atmosphere. If they get the volume of the music on point, it would be about perfect for a fun night on the town.
google avatar

Dez B.

Yelp
Came here before my spa appointment at Bliss Spa on a Thursday afternoon to have a cocktail and something quick to eat. Food was ok, kinda too salty for my taste, and my Moscato was good. I'd probably come back with friends to have a drink.
google avatar

Max M.

Yelp
Sure, it's nice and all, but the sugary Bergamot Bliss cocktail was low on the booze and high on the price ($13).

Yelp
Being from out of town, I wanted to explore a great place to eat without going too far away from my hotel. Since I heard that the restaurant at the Westin Market Street was just "mediocre" (where I am staying), I wanted googled/yelped some places close by and came cross the Living Room Bar & Lounge at the W Hotel. Like stated by many other yelpers, this bar/lounge has a very "vegas" feel--the bar counter has neon lights and the place is dark and "sultry". It was pretty quiet when I went (close to christmas, and it was a weeknight) but I can see how it can be a trendy hang out place for both locals and out of towners. For dinner, I had the Braised Pork Shoulder with Gnocchi--it was DELICIOUS!!! gnocchi was nice, soft and pillowy, and the pork shoulder was extremely tender. The only drawback was that it was waaaaaaay too salty. However, I would highly recommend this--the gnocchi is to die-for! I also got their pumpkin bread pudding, and it was knock out of the ball park delicious!!! I think the prices are comparable to an upscale/trendy bar/lounge, but I'm more than willing to pay the price for the quality of food. Overall a great place to visit!

Yelp
I use to love the living room for bottomless mimosa Sundays. They had really good food and kept the mimosas flowing at a really good price. It has been a while since I have been there, but today when I went there I found they now charge $20 for the mimosas and an additional $11 for food when the food used to be included in the price. The food this time was disgusting. They had a buffet with cold food and half the eggs were green. To top it off they stopped serving the bottomless mimosas at 1:50 when they said they stopped at 2. It seems this place has gotten really cheap. I think I may need to find an alternate location for my Sunday brunches.

Yelp
By basis of being inside the W, this place guarantees a certain level of service, quality of drinks and atmosphere. Drinks were good, but as expected, a little pricey to cover that guarantee of service and atmosphere, but that wasn't the main reason I came here. There's a gigantic huge, brand-spanking new LED fiber-optic combo sculpture in the rotunda area. It's worth paying for a slightly overpriced drink to sit under it and admire what creativity combined with modern technology can create. That's what prompted me to visit the W, and that's what'll bring me back.

Yelp
The facility itself is very nice. The service was good - our waitress was very nice and her recommendations for cocktail drinks were great! I loved both of the drinks that I had there - one was a cucumber cooler with jalapeno and the other one was a martini with St. elder flower in it. I can't recall, but both were expectational. We had the chile cheese burger and the lobster green chili mac and cheese. Everyone in our party loved the lobster green chili mac and cheese. However, we couldn't say the same for the green chili cheese burger. The right ingredients are in the burger, but it is also overwhelming to have some many flavors together that it makes it flavorless. The taste/flavor of the guacamole was not present even though there was guacamole in the burger. I am a huge FAN of cheese, but the taste of it was lost with the charcoal meat. The bun got very soggy due to overwhelming amount of the guacamole and green chili. Overall, our experience was very pleasant and we enjoyed ourselves very much. I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for a good cocktail and lobster mac and cheese! Will be back to try the other items that I was not able to.
