"Known for cocktails and small plates perfect for sharing, Lo & Behold is a relaxed option perfect when you’re in town with a group of friends. Grab a guava paloma or cucumber-fennel mezcal cocktail, then split a world tour of plates like Sichuan-spiced pork spareribs, bánh xèo with pork belly and shrimp, and dukkah-spiced grilled halloumi. The dining room has an industrial-meets-rustic feel with vintage mirrors, wooden details, and a gorgeous bar at its center, whereas the patio is a private, canopy-covered garden escape. The Best Restaurants in Sonoma County - Eater SF

"The bar at this Healdsburg restaurant is a see-and-be-seen sort of place, especially if staying out after 9 p.m. is your wine country jam. Grab a seat, if you can, and partake of the “almost famous” chicken tenders. These juicy wonders are not aimed at kiddie palates — chef Sean Raymond Kelley designed them salty and crispy enough to partner with the top-notch cocktails. So, too, the crab rangoon dip and pork spareribs. It’s a late-night menu fit for a hungry three-star chef and crew." - Christina Mueller, Eater Staff

Great food, amazing cocktails, and wonderful staff - what more can you ask for? This LGBTQ+ owned business is our favorite place to visit in Healdsburg. The daily specials they have had recently have been incredible and you can never go wrong with the “almost famous” chicken tenders! For cocktails I can recommend the LOVE BIZARRE, and the BIRDS & THE BEEZ!

Google
The food was delicious. Got the pea shoot salad and brisket tacos - brisket smoked in house and meal prepared in beef tallow (rendered from the brisket!), no seed oils. The place is fully prepared for accommodating food allergies, but the first time my tacos came out they had flour tortillas & I specifically stated my gluten and dairy allergies. The waiter apologized and provided me a fully new dish (because I can’t have cross contamination), but just a watch out. The cocktail that I got was alright. It didn’t feel like the flavors totally paired, but I think other people at the table enjoyed their cocktails.

Google
Incredibly warm and welcoming staff, and super accommodating. Stopped in with a friend last night on a whim before the kitchen closed and everyone was so welcoming. We tried the tacos and fries as a quick snack before heading out to the bars and everything was delicious. It was hard to choose because the entire menu looked so appealing. I will definitely be back!

Google
I didn’t have a chance to try the food, I just got some drinks but there were so good. Costumer service was just perfect. I really enjoy this place.

Google
Great experience on a beautiful Saturday afternoon! The pea shoot salad was spot on with layers of carrots, radishes and sunflower seeds. The yogurt dressing was light and the perfect compliment. The mushroom eggrolls were fantastic with the duck sauce. Wait staff was super helpful and attentive; everyone worked together as a team. Highly recommend

Google
Top notch restaurant. Every dish we ordered was a 10 out of 10. The Daily Crudo (hamachi) was so fresh and so flavorful. The Peashoot Salad was simple but surprisingly hearty. The Almost Famous Chicken Tendies was such a nice treat. But nothing could prepare us for the kakigori dessert. It was out of this world. They change the flavors often but I'm certain we had the best one they've ever made. Japanese shaved ice topped with house made lemon syrup, fresh whipped cream, torched merengue and crumbled butter cookies. It was such a surprisingly delicious blend of flavors, we couldn't get enough. The merengue on top of the tangy, citrusy ice was akin to an egg white cocktail. It was phenomenal. I told the server that they should always have that on the menu. Especially on warmer days. I'd recommend this place to anyone for guaranteed great food, great service and beautiful space.

Google
Make sure you request Alvaro for your server! Most knowledgeable guy in town! Knows the flavor profiles of the entire menu, makes great recommendations on what to order, and super attentive. 10 out of 10, would come back. We had the kimchi noodles, duck confit, crudo, and Thai style crab salad.

Google
My favorite restaurant to take friends and family in the area!! Lo and Behold is a phenomenal establishment with very friendly staff. I’ve never had an experience anything less than amazing in all aspects. This is accounted for in the phenomenal food (would recommend the chicken tenders and pea-shoot salad). Additionally I’ve enjoyed every drink I’ve had here as someone who doesn’t consume alcohol. 10/10 go!!

Yelp
This was our first time here. We were really impressed. Service from top to bottom was outstanding. The food and drinks served to us - five stars. We will definitely put Lo & Behold on a regular rotation!

Yelp
My wife and I stopped in for dinner recently and really enjoyed it. We had already done some tastings in the area so didn't feel up for cocktails, but the overall vibe of the bar made it seem like a great spot for a drink. This review is mainly based on the food. We ordered their deviled eggs as an appetizer and the burger and fries for dinner. It seemed like every table around us had ordered the deviled eggs so it made us think it was a bit of a specialty for them. When we got them we really enjoyed them. You really get the spice / flavor taste of curry within them. We also split the burger and fries. The burger was thick and juicy. The pickles on the side were also super delicious. Overall we enjoyed the meal and would come back again.

Yelp
My husband and I recently stayed in Healdsburg for our favorite wine event. On Friday evening, we found ourselves sitting in a tasting room, hungry after a full day of wine tasting. The staff member working recommended Lo & Behold for bites and cocktails. We walked in around 6:30 PM and were seated quickly, but given the choice of the only two non-reserved tables in the place. The atmosphere was welcoming yet chic, and modern, yet cozy. There were a variety of different tables and seating arrangements, tall, low, and bar seating. I liked the high ceilings and all the tiny lights and hanging plants. I took a walk to the back to use the restroom and saw the patio, which was also beautifully lighted and had a lively atmosphere. Service was great through the meal. My husband and I decided to share small bites and ordered a few cocktails. My favorite cocktail was called After Hours, which was a slightly fruity, but not sweet bourbon cocktail. I think the menu was much more catered to my taste rather than my husbands, as mushrooms and curry were in several items. I enjoy those, but he does not. Therefore, that is something to take into account if you decide to dine here. We ordered the pickled veggies, backed crab dip, the coconut shrimp toast and curried deviled eggs. Everything was delicious. Probably the coconut shrimp toast was my favorite of those items. If I were to return, I would try some additional cocktails and maybe some of the noodle dishes. In the heart of wine country, getting great cocktails is rare. It can be a nice change of pace from a day of wine-tasting. We had a very enjoyable dinner at Lo & Behold.

Yelp
4 out of 5 items ordered were smash hits. So the menu rotates here a bit. I had a cucumber margarita type drink that was lovely light and tasty hubby had a really tasty updated hot pink old fashioned. Sipping on those when a delightful mound of peas sprouts salad arrived creamy and tangingly dressed and sprinkled w sunflower seeds! a very delish salad. Next we shared the uncuous warm mushroom salad that was out of this world creative, fun to eat, down right a joy of a dish and also the somewhat only okay "where are they" mushroom egg rolls. Yeah lil greasy inside and not much mushroom to but hey the really enjoyable pretty and warm patio brought the score up to a home run. Really loved the whole adventure. We'll be back up from rivertown again soon.

Yelp
This place is a food sharer's paradise! Everything on the menu sounded amazing, and every plate (and drink) begged to be shared so we could try as much as possible. Our waiter, Thomas, was phenomenal--knowledgeable, attentive, and spot-on with his recommendations. We ordered all our food at once and let him decide the timing of which we ate everything. He absolutely nailed it! Not only did he time everything perfectly, but he also paired the dishes beautifully to complement one another. Plus, we never felt overwhelmed with plates piling up on the table--his flow was seamless. This spot is at the top of our list to revisit. If you love sharing and thoughtfully curated dining experiences, this is the place for you!

Yelp
Came out here for a date night and got a nice seat at the bar. Service was helpful with any questions we had, refills and check ins from the bartenders were frequent. I had gotten the warm mushroom salad and the housemade kimchi noodles. My compatriot got the crispy pork spareribs. We also ordered the pickled veggies to share. The flavors were good for each. The warm mushroom salad the dressing brought things together well though I wish there was a little more of it. The fried rice croutons felt a little out of place with the size they were at. The mushrooms were all cooked well. The eggs were also a bit plain though more of the dressing/sauce could've helped with that, or soy sauce eggs even. The kimchi noodles hit the spot. I liked that they used thicker noodles for it. It reminds me of handcut as far as the texture and the dryness overall of the dish. The spareribs were almost fall off and the dry rub with the sauce worked really well together. The vibe of this place was great and just what we were looking for. This definitely gives us another option for dining and a drink in the area.

Yelp
Went for lunch today and the hostess was so unbelievably rude we almost walked out. I just asked for a high chair for my toddler and she sighed, rolled her eyes at me and went "at least let me get the table first." I figured she'd want to know that request when choosing a table and seating us. Either way, never been treated so rudely at a restaurant before, especially after a basic, polite request. Truly awful. Thankfully our server Bryan was very warm and helpful, so we decided to stay. We loved all the dishes we got, and definitely recommend sharing a variety of things. The cocktails were great too. The outdoor patio is lovely on a warm day. Try the food and drinks, hopefully the hostess will move on!

Yelp
The place is decorated with wins and trying to fit them in any open spaces Very cute and fun decors Food and services are top notch We were seated in a room tucked away from everything very private and intimate Food is off the hook The ahi tuna was my favorite, light and tasty with the sesame coating crunch and soft and not overly cooked . The Brussels sprouts were different , crispy and delicious No left overs and that says a lot

Yelp
Service. Spot on. Ambiance. Top shelf lite. Food. Yes, it worked. (We had but only puu-puu's, ribs, shrimp, Chardonnay). Fer shure: A VERY positive rec.

Yelp
Very cool vibe! Tasty drinks with an extensive list of specialty cocktails and really good food. We had the Chicken a la Brasa, with aji verde sauce. If you have never tried this Preuvian dish, it was very good. I love aji verde and this was definitly a good one! It came with fries that were really good, but I would have loved it more if it had come with rice and beans. We also tried the burger and it was really good. Nice chill spot in Healdsburg!

Yelp
I've been here a couple times and both have been tasty and creative dining experiences. When I went over the summer there was a halloumi dish on the menu which I promptly ordered because I never see that on a menu! It didn't disappoint. When I went in the fall the menu had rotated which I love and new and delicious bites were to be found. Fun environment, nice improvement from the prior restaurant that housed the space. Feels bohemian with a mid century flair and cozy - nice mix. I have had a range of goodness; crudo, the halloumi dish, almost famous chicken, tacos, mushroom dumplings, I'm sure a few other dishes but that's what stands out to me. Last time I got some kind of pea shoot cocktail that was delicious! Slightly herbaceous, slightly sweet but not in a cloyingly kind of way. Overall - love! Keep up the good work! Service has always been friendly, prompt enough for the type of environment without feeling rushed. I think they hit their stride - this is a labor of love and it shows.

Yelp
Absolutely adorable restaurant featuring amazing drinks and delicious fusion foods. More like a bar with food than a restaurant. Wait staff are super nice and attentive. Above and beyond polite!!

Yelp
What a gem in Healdsburg! Unique plates and inviting vibes. I had the Happy Trails cocktail, perfectly balanced between herbaceous and creamy. For dinner my husband and I split curry deviled eggs, pea shoot salad, and kimchi noodles. I LOVE pea shoots already so the salad was right up my alley. The curried deviled eggs were my husband favorite, we always try to order deviled eggs at restaurants when they have unique flavors or toppings. And the kimchi noodles were so flavorful and the perfect amount of heat. We did add shrimp, but felt there wasn't that many especially for the added cost. Will definitely return as there are more fun plates to try!

Yelp
4.5 stars This place has a really cute patio equipped with heaters if needed on a colder night. Highly recommend sitting outdoor. The cocktails were fresh and vibrant - best gin and tonic we've had. Sangria was plum based and a great choice too. Coming to the food - the appetizers were well portioned and had a lot of Asian flavor influences. Recommend - deviled eggs, mushroom rolls, potatoes. Salmon caviar was skippable. For mains - the kimchi noodles dish was delicious and light, we also got beef tacos. Our meal was very carb heavy but overall a delightful experience :) loved our server too

Yelp
Stopped in Sunday night, inside was packed. No tables until 8:30. Plenty of seating on the patio. They have plenty of heaters so it was comfortable but we ate with our jackets on. Food was amazing. This is a tapas restaurant with a relatively small menu. All the food was great. The only complaint was the olives in Paula's martini. They were very odd with little olive flavor. Staff was great as well.

Yelp
Phenomenal hors d'oeuvres for our wine club party. Laura, Sean and Tara were wonderful to work. The creativity and quality were top notch. Highly recommend visiting them in Healdsburg. My go to menu choices are: Crudo of the day, Brisket tacos and Kimchi noodles.

Sylvia C.

Yelp
Great food and ambience. The crab salad had nice pieces of crab that was perfectly dressed and highlighted the natural sweetness of the crab meat. We were seated outside in the covered patio and had a heater next to us to keep us comfortable on a winter evening. We weren't very hungry and splitting the salad was the perfect portion size. We agreed to come back another time for the fried chicken tenders that looked great at another table!
google avatar

Yelp
The server was very attentive, quick, knowledgeable and thoughtful with what we wanted. The environment outside was beautiful. Fire lamps were on throughout the area and our party were all warm in the 50-something degree night around 10pm. The lights were perfectly set. Although there were many people eating outside, our party was able to hear each other speak without having to talk over others. The duck was perfect! The Kim chi noodles are made in-house and it was perfectly seasoned and paired well with the duck.

Yelp
Lo & Behold Bar and kitchen! Lo and behold had a special variety of options and they perfect each one of their dishes. They have great ambiance and a very aesthetic vibe. Definitely recommend the Kimchi noodles they are really tasty. They made a custom cocktail which was super sweet. I definitely recommend if you are looking for a lovely meal or drink. In conclusion I love this place and I hope you try it,or if you have all ready tried I hope you had a joyous time. 5

Yelp
Highly recommend trying if in the area. After drinking wine all day it's nice to end with a cocktail and shared bites.

Yelp
Crab dip. 3 stars. Flavor was ok. Came with Ritz crackers that had been doctored/spiced. NA guava cucumber cooler. 5 stars. Vietnamese crepe with pork. 5 stars. Wonderful fresh flavors! Brisket tacos. 5 stars. If you like pork, get them. If you don't like pork, get them anyway. Cheesecake. 2 stars. Not a fan of this trendy style which is less creamy and indulgent. Sat in the back outside on a beautiful spring evening.

Yelp
Dined here because at 9:00 pm, this is the last restaurant standing... First off... Love the name :) Lo and Behold is just so cute! It is Global Comfort Food and Cultivated Cocktails. Food: * dozen oysters: 3/5 It didn't taste fresh to me. I didn't like the fact that list it tell you the place of origin. It's just a dozen oysters with no story behind it. Super small and it didn't taste fresh. The mignonette sauce was an afterthought. It was just a weak red wine vinegar. No shallots or pepper. * CRISPY MUSHROOM EGGROLLS with truffle hot mustard, duck sauce: 3/5 Good flavor but was a bit too oily for my taste. The trufe hot mustard and duck sauce was lackluster. * MILK BREAD $12: 1/5 truffle hot mustard, duck sauce XO butter, black sesame. As a milk bread aficionado, my friend was not impressed. The butter was rock hard, so it made it unpleasant to spread on the spread.... * A BABY BOWL OF FRIES: 5/5 muyyyy perfecto... :) * ALMOST FAMOUS CHICKEN TENDIES: 3/5 hot or not, L&B ranch, mason's pickles Chicken was a bit dry and the ranch & red sauce was flavorless. Service: 5/5 Andrew was an attentive waiter. He checked on us just enough without hovering. He always made sure we had everything we need. Props to Andrew... Overall, I would love to go back here and try more of they cocktails and food offerings... Plus, they are literally the last restaurant/ bar standing in the quaint town of Healdsburg CA. after 9:00 pm

Yelp
A great dinner spot in lovely Healdsburg! We made reservations in advance, which I'm glad we did since there was a rehearsal dinner which limited seating during our visit. We were ushered to the back patio, where we got to enjoy the lovely ambience. The bistro lights and abundance of plants made for a wonderful vibe and added to the overall experience. Our server was incredibly informative, giving us great tips on best dishes to order. Since we spent the morning / afternoon wine tasting, we decided to pass on drinks, but their cocktails looked quite unique and intriguing - next time. We started with the cucumber plate, which featured feta, red onion, and tomatoes, all adorned with a curry vinaigrette. The curry vinaigrette was so unexpected but the spiciness paired so nicely with the coolness of the cucumber. For larger dishes, we opted for the kimchi noodles and the Vietnamese crepe. The kimchi noodles are a must-order - the noodles were cooked perfectly, and it had the right amount of spice to not overpower the flavors. The crunchy kimchi, sesame seeds, and water chestnuts juxtaposed the soft noodles, making a great bite. The Vietnamese crepe was unique as well, having nice crunch with the bean sprouts, crisp with the crepe, and savory bites with the pork and shrimp. The fish sauce and mint paired well to complete the dish and really made the flavors come together. It was hard to make up our mind with what dishes to get, but we were quite pleased with our decision. Looking forward to hopefully revisiting and trying their cocktail menu and other plates (including more seafood options).

Yelp
Great lunch today (Sunday, at 12:30pm) at Lo & Behold. Annie was our server, and she took excellent care of us. Ordered: - 1/2 dozen oysters - crudo special (halibut in buttermilk w/ crushed potato chips and other deliciousness) - chicken tenders - sandwich special (a riff on a croque madame, super rich) Everything was delicious and the portions for the chicken and sandwich were really generous. I can't wait to go back and try more. They have a big dog friendly back patio, and the interior is funky and welcoming.

Yelp
It's been too long! A 70-degree Sunday Funday was the perfect excuse to enjoy lunch on their back patio. Six of us ordered a feast and loved it all: *Cucumber Salad - a must-get. Light, bright, fresh and flavorful. *Pea Shoots - we didn't know what to expect but it was a beautiful and delicious salad with shaved carrots and seeds for texture and crunch. We'll definitely order again. *Yucca Fries - yes!!! *Chicken Tenders x2 - I don't eat much chicken but make an exception for these. Crunchy on the outside, moist on the inside. Not greasy. So yum! *Kimchi Noodles x2 - first time trying these and it won't be my last. Freshly made noodles with the contrast of crunchy water chestnuts. A little spice. Very nice! A few cocktails. Fresh-brewed iced tea that kept flowing. Unique and delicious flavors. Beautiful outdoor setting. Friendly service. What a treat!

Yelp
Not sure why it took me so long to hit this place up...but I am very glad I finally ate there! Awesome, awesome, awesome. Amazing ambiance and space. The inside is very spacious and has a great feel...along with a very hotel like bar! The exterior garden area is sublime..fun and inviting...making one feel relaxed and part of the extensive modern garden. The service is super causal and friendly and fun. Our server was a hoot. The bar has so many cool drink...best vodka soda ever...along with a large number of interesting mixologist's dream. The food, which I'm told rotates very frequently, was simple and delicious and complex. We had the oysters, 10/10...the pea shoots salad which was peppery and flavorful. The tart was equally delicious as was the charcuterie board. I was impressed by the variety of menu items. In the words of our former governator, I will be back.

Yelp
Healdsburg is a great city with outstanding bars, restaurants and wineries. I had a high expectation for food and service at Lo & Behold and they delivered! Delicious traditional American gastropub fare (burger and fries) and a wonderful interpretation of Vietnamese cuisine (Bánh xèo, a crispy, stuffed rice crepe) that we order frequently at authentic Vietnamese restaurants. Their version is very thin and crisp with more fresh ingredients stuffed inside vs mixed into a thick pancake. Even their edamame was incredibly delicious! Server was friendly and made us smile!

Yelp
Unique menu. Great cocktails - including a pumpkin hot toddy. Friendly staff. Opt to sit inside if it's during the winter season.

Yelp
Excellent prompt service . Great fried chicken and salad / pickles. Get it to go and enjoy in the plaza outdoor park . Get an ice cream from I scream ice cream across the street .

Yelp
Came here for lunch and had great drinks as always. The ginger fries with the sandwich special are so good that my group ordered extra on the side.

Yelp
Super cute inside. Really nice wait staff- fast service. The food was good but not fantastic. I had the kimchi noodles and they kind of tasted and looked like lasagna noodles. My friends had the burger, which was OK but a bit overcooked. The restaurant was super cute inside. We just wish the food was a little better, really cool looking bar and nice vibe.

Yelp
Very broad menu with most items being perfect for sharing. Kind of a world tour of options. We enjoyed the ceviche, a cucumber salad with curry vinaigrette, and a Vietnamese crepe. Great drink options as well. Located just around the corner from the main downtown square. Outside patio seating in the back patio is quite nice. The service was excellent.

Yelp
The beauty of small plate dining is to take a tour of offerings without filling up on one dish. The chef here has a great idea of proper portions. Lo & Behold is really good at maximizing flavors with each offering. Their menu is very inventive and has lots of Asian inspiration. The food here packs of lot of flavor. It's a shame I only have one stomach. I loved the following: Crispy Pork Spare Ribs: These were delish. True to its name the outer layer was crispy 5 Spice yuminess. But the texture below was soft so the meat pulled away easily. The pickled slaw added nice acidity and balanced out the dish. The hoisin sauce added nice sweetness as well. The best bites were combining the ribs with the slaw at one time. Yum! Vietnamese Crepe: Part of the success of this dish was because it was so fun to eat. As recommended, we chopped up the crepe into the filling and used the lettuce as a wrap. Make sure you drizzle plenty of fish sauce as it just wakes up the flavors of all components. I could have this one again. Chocolate Mousse: Loved this one! The mousse was flavorful and creamy. By itself it was successful. But combined with the brownie croutons and slice of cherry, just heaven. I really liked this one and recommend if you are a fan of chocolate and cherry combinations. The ambiance of this place reminds me of a comfortable lodge in Tahoe. It is very warm and inviting. The service was top notch. Our waitress Melissa was knowledgeable and offered great tips on how to attack each dish. She checked on us regularly to make sure we were taken care of. I believe the true measure of a great dining establishment is the desire of the patron to wanna come back. I must say Lo & Behold makes your want to come back for more. We will be back!

Yelp
Friends of ours recommended we drive to the town of Healdsburg while visiting Napa. After driving to the coast one day, my wife and I drove to this town on our way back to Napa. Unfortunately, we got there late in the day and a lot of the stores in this cool little town were closed. We did find a nice bar though! Lo & Behold is a restaurant/bar located just off the square. The food menu didn't interest us so we just had drinks at the bar. This was fine as our server was friendly, the bar comfortable, and the drinks were good. This is a town we'd like to see more of. If you visit and need a drink, Lo & Behold is a good option.

Yelp
This place is amazing. My husband is not so adventurous. But today he was willing to try some thing different as it was our 31st wedding anniversary. We ordered the Cumber plate, housemade Kimchi noodle plate and the almost famous chicken tenders. What a joy all these choices were!!!! We also order a third wheel cocktail and the the bird and beez cocktail. Everything was Lucious. Thank you to all the yelpers who made this event happen!!! We will look forward to next years anniversary celebration and see what's in store. Our Server for the evening was a joy too!! Will definitely return in the future!!

Yelp
Lee stopped by with our two boys after a wrestling tournament. The food is creative and we'll executed. Eat outside if you can (there are heaters), as it could be too loud in the bar area, where we sat. We called the host on our way, and he was able to accommodate us on a very busy Saturday night. We had: burgers, crispy ribs, Vietnamese crepe and the roasted chicken. The burgers were good ($23 when you add bacon) but the Chicken a La Brasa stole the show: juicy and flavorful, great dipping sauces and crispy fries. The crepe was mediocre--I wouldn't order it again. Definitely worth a try if you're looking for a tasty, casual dinner with craft cocktails in Healdsburg.

Yelp
I stopped by Lo+Behold for pre-dinner drinks with my family! It's a super cool trendy bar in a town full of super cool trendy bars. Lovely interior decor, nice big patio. Staff knows their stuff and, while they weren't outgoingly friendly, were easy to flag down to order more. A great collection of liquor behind the bar. We tried a few drinks and a few appetizers - all were good. I haven't tried their main dishes but my mom reported that they were just alright. Recommended for cocktail aficionados and as a great date night spot!

Yelp
First time here for lunch with some friends. The drinks were great! The food was in between good and great for me, however very tasteful. We ended up spending a good amount of money here. I just would've liked to see a little bit bigger portions for what they charge, otherwise I didn't feel as if it was worth it in that aspect. But that's just my personal opinion. The service was good, the staff was attentive and friendly to go along with the nice sunny outdoor seating! I'd probably eat here again if I was craving something specific from the menu or if I was grabbing drinks at the bar. They do have a nice seating area inside which adds to the cool ambiance of the restaurant/bar inside!

Yelp
We had a Friday lunch reservation and were seated right away on the outdoor patio. The restaurant had amazingly well cared for indoor and outdoor plants. I loved the bar area and would love to visit and sit there next time. The food and drinks were amazing. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and how to make it gluten free. 5/5 experience and will visit again.

Yelp
It was a beautiful day and we opted for a day trip up north to Healdsburg with lunch at the Lo and Behold Bar. We didn't have any expectations but we were pleasantly surprised. Started off with drinks (a gin and tonic and an IPA). Followed by an appetizer of mushroom egg rolls stuffed with cabbage and slivers of wood ear mushrooms. It was a little on the greasy side but very delicious. Bánh xèo, a crispy, stuffed rice crepe - light and crispy crepe stuffed with tender shrimp and crispy pork belly. The lettuce/herbs were fresh and tasty! Blackened chicken - Served with crispy fries and a bed of arugula salad!! Chicken was juicy, moist and delicious. The salad really lightened up the dish, such a perfect platter. It did not feel too heavy. Nice welcoming outdoor courtyard and kind friendly service. We have another reason to visit Healdsburg!! Will definitely visit again soon.

Yelp
Fantastic lunch on a recent trip to Healdsburg to celebrate my wife's 50th ! The spicy/curried/mango potatoes were very tasty (and spicy!), the edamame was smokey and nice, and the ceviche was excellent and fresh (although, I didn't live the really large cuts of fish, have never has ceviche like that before and it was a bit odd -- perhaps just a mental thing for me). Our waitress was great - Cheraya (??) -- very knowledgeable, fun and engaging, and had great recommendations on the great libations. The place has great eats -- even greater drinks -- and a terrific vibe overall. Definitely a return trip kind of place!

Yelp
Had a very good bacon cheeseburger burger and fries for dinner. Their homemade pickles were actually pretty good (I do not like pickles at all!). Burger was tender and fries were seasoned well and fried even better. Recommend the Charbono to go along with it!

Yelp
We had a reservation for the patio. When we arrived we were greeted and seated immediately. The patio has a top on it with lots of sunshades. The restaurant has lots of speciality cocktails. We started with drinks and ordered the crab dip and ceviche. My "Worlds Best Vodka Soda" was strong. Not go blind strong but a nice kick. The crab dip with pimento cheese was probably the tables favorite dish. The endive pieces along with the crackers were the perfect vessels for the dip. The ceviche was not your typical dish. It was fish onions and cherry tomatoes but there was this bright green, maybe cilantro, lime sauce that the fish was marinated in. The sauce was bright in color and flavor. Corn tortilla chips were served on the side with paper this radishes. Our next round or course was the mushroom egg rolls and the Vietnamese crepe. The mushroom egg rolls were straight of the fryer, burn the roof of your mouth hot. Once slightly cooled the egg rolls were crunchy, with a nice sauce on the side. The crepe was massive and the presentation was impressive. The crepe was thin and crispy, jam packed with pork, shrimp and lot of fresh vegetables. Lettuce leaves, fresh mint, cilantro and a fish sauce were served in the side. We fished up our meal with the fried chicken tenders and kimchi noodles. We had two orders of the fried chicken one spicy one mild. The chicken was served with house made pickles with some pickled onions and bell peppers. Ranch dressing on the side. The batter on the chicken was super crunchy. The spicy chicken tenders were spicy but not super spicy. The kimchi noodles with shrimp dish was really good. Super wide noodles, mixed with kimchi, shrimp, and water chestnuts that added a nice crunch. As a table, with thought the noodles needed salt but overall the dish was still good. What put this place over the top for us was the service. The first lady who took our drink order wasn't our server but she did a nice job covering for our server, who was probably busy finishing up other tables. Then our server was so helpful. She offered more chips and crackers for the first course since there was 5 of us. She brought us a steak knife so we could cut the egg rolls in half so everyone had a bite, they were 3 to an order. Three quarters into our meal she offered new plates. We didn't have to ask or even think to ask for such things but her service game excellent. To top it off she did a nice job explaining how to attack the crepe. Use the lettuce as a vessel to grab the crepe like a lettuce wrap or taco. My parents who are local will now be there quite frequently and next time we are in town we will definitely be back. Thank you for a fun time with great food. Unfortunately the food was so good I forgot to take pictures

Yelp
Situated a block away from the square this F2T joint is a nice & pleasant lunch break from a day of wine tasting. Started off with the signature punch which had a "punch" and great to have offset in flavors to wine. The Hamachi crudo was simple but was well seasoned and the a great starter. Salmon Lomi Lomi was a spicy poke which was almost similar to the crudo but more heat and the seaweed cracker was a good vehicle for it. The mezz salad is a big hit with any veggie fans as it was more than expected and the subtly dressed with Middle Eastern spices so it kept you palette engaged with the crunch of garbonzo beans paired silky eggplant. Overall a good lunch getaway with a comfortable outdoor setting and friendly service
