"This Upper East Side restaurant offers an affordable, creative interpretation of a traditional Argentine grill, enhanced by influences from Italian, French, Spanish, and Asian cuisines. Expect grilled sweetbreads seasoned with garlic and parsley, filet mignon medallions topped with a creamy Roquefort sauce, and grilled pork chops with apple chutney. Of course, there are ample parrillada options, along with pastas like ravioli di porcini and spinach and ricotta cannelloni served in a pink sauce with mushroom. Sides are also not to be missed: grilled corn on the cob, bok choy, roasted rosemary sweet potatoes, all shouldn’t be missed." - Juliana Accioly

"Lo de Lea is a small Argentinian restaurant that can work for a happy hour glass of wine or a casual weeknight meal if you’re really craving a steak and don’t want to travel outside MiMo to get it. The steaks are what you should be eating here. They’re decent, and made better by a side of chimichurri, which will cost you an extra $5." - Ryan Pfeffer

lo de lea steak house All upscale and class at a place that feels like home. We stayed at the hotel that Lo De Lea Steak House is attached too. We would visit the bar for drinks and food every night we were backif they were open. We agreed this would be a local hangout for us. The staff and owner are very friendly. They understand customer service. It was a joy getting to know them. I fully recommend Lo De Lea Steak House. Come for the amazing food and atmosphere. Stay for the people. I am not a professional photographer but here are a handful of photos. I almost forgot... Sweet Breads are neither sweet nor bread.

Google
DO NOT COME HERE FOR ANY SORT OF BREAKFAST!! $27 dollars for some basic regular croissants and 2 coffees is absolute robbery. If you wanna pay almost 30 bucks for some basic coffee and bread be my guest but if you are actually not made out of money and don't own half of Apple in stocks, do yourself a favor and buy 10 bucks worth of croissants at Costco. And buy some $1 coffee from any cuban local restaurant window. It's disgusting how businesses don't care about the customer anymore, low tier croissants and low tier coffee, save your money folks and skip out on the breakfast. This is a breakfast review, can't speak on dinner or lunch but if that's breakfast price I can't imagine anything better for the other meals.

Google
This place is incredible. The steak we ordered was literally perfect, melt in your mouth tender and the flavor was incredible. Service? Outstanding. Honestly, couldn't have been happier... Oh, and they have a killer lunch special, I'm going to have to come back for that!!

Google
Fantastic food. The atmosphere is exquisite. The staff is amazing. Monse was our waitress and she is phenomenal! I will definitely be back periodically. Thank you for the outstanding experience and service!!

Natalia Balmaceda

Google
Absolutely phenomenal! From the moment you sit down and taste the homemade bread and sauces, you know you're in for something special. The empanadas are to die for, just like grandma used to make. The lunch special is a total steal, especially the blue cheese burger, WOW a must-try! And the meat parrillada? Cooked to absolute perfection, juicy, flavorful, and 100% authentic Argentine style. You can taste the love and tradition in every bite. If you’re looking for a real Argentinean experience, this is it. Can’t wait to go back!

Google
We love this local spot! The food is always delicious and I love the dim light atmosphere. The service is always excellent and they never rush you. You know it’s that good when you go 2 nights in a row.

Kaitlyn B

Google
All of the staff were very kind, courteous, professional. Loved the ambiance with dim lighting and decorated cocktails. And of course, the steak was EXCELLENT. Got the Parrillada de carnes for 4 so we could try all of the different cuts. Highly recommend.

Google
Exceptional Service from Carolina at Lo de Lea! I had an amazing dining experience at Lo de Lea, thanks to Carolina’s outstanding service. From the moment we arrived, she was warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. She made great recommendations, ensured everything was perfect, and added a personal touch that made the night even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for top-notch service to match the incredible food, ask for Carolina—you won’t be disappointed!

Polina M.

Yelp
Great place for breakfast lunch and dinner. Staff is polite and attentive. Would recommend steak on the menu

Ezequiel K.

Yelp
While the space is nice and welcoming, the food is definitely the reason to visit Lo De Lea, despite it being on the pricier end of the spectrum. Whether you start off with a traditional beef empanada or some chorizos, this Argentine restaurant will not disappoint. With various entree options, I was particularly drawn to a steak - cooked to sheer perfection. A nice wine selection will make it easy to go from a good to a great meal. Then, to close off the meal, try a panqueca con dulce de leche and you'll be left wanting for the meal to never end. That's when you need an expresso and a long sobremesa.

Yelp
Such a cute restaurant and wonderful service. Our server made me a special lemonade with strawberries and poured it in a wine glass per my request. The food was good but not sure if it's because they switched servers but they forgot to ask us how we wanted our steak cooked and we had to send it back for a little more flame. The food was delicious but the steak needed some salt but after adding a pinch made all the difference. We ordered the Parrillada for 4 and we had extra food to take home. I love the presentation of the meat.

Romi W.

Yelp
Horrible all around!! I do NOT recommend!! I could write paragraphs about how horrible the time management and how the servers were anything but helpful but maybe I just had them on a bad night. What I can't get over is the fact that I paid for rosemary potatoes and received FRENCH FRIES! I also ordered this to the hotel since I was a guest there, and they gave me a PLASTIC KNIFE to cut my steak!! (I understand they can't give metal utensils but at least cut this brick of meat before you give it to someone who obviously doesn't have cutlery on hand!) Also the pricing was absolutely ridiculous for the quality of food! And the last nail in the coffin was that I was up all night due to stomach pain from the food!! I have never made a bad review in my life but this was absolutely ridiculous! DO NOT GO HERE!

Mingo M.

Yelp
Lo De Lea in North Miami Beach is a nice restaurant with an awesome Argentinian vibe and elegant decorations. The steaks from our Parrilla were pretty good but could've used a bit more salt and pepper. They forgot to ask how I wanted my steak cooked, and I usually go for medium-well, so that was a bit of a miss. But overall, the place has a great feel to it, and despite the small slip-up with the steak, I'd say it's definitely worth checking out if you're in the area in you're looking for Argentinian cuisine.

Yelp
Came here for a lowkey birthday dinner w/the family. I was so highly impressed with the customer service provided. From our water glasses never empty to our fresh bread basket (focaccia & regular rolls) of homemade goodies. We ordered the Lo de Lea appetizer. So much to go around & share with the table of 4. The mollejitas & empanadas were my favorite. For the mollejitas think thinly sliced pork belly perfectly pan fried/oven crispy! Topped with some of their homemade chimichurri sauce! OH MY! We also ordered their Provoleta - while it was tasty & cheesy (OF COURSE) it was a bit too crispy on the top. My husband ordered their Ojo de Bife (Ribeye) which came w/French fries & a sweet corn on the cob. Amazing! My daughter had their Linguinni con Tuco which had a nice crispy "parmesan" chip topping it off! I couldn't grab a bite to share my experience because she basically enjoy it all to herself. Not a bad sign... so it must have been pretty good! My mother and I shared their Steak Milanesa topped w/two fried eggs. This was more than enough to satisty us since we did have a nice array of appetizers. To close off we ordered their flan & pavlova for dessert. Both were very good & the flan came w/two individual portions. One thing to note is that they do not have a full bar. And this is fine because truth be told to eat parrilladas you need a good wine pairing! The setting is very rustic Argentinian with so many beautiful wine bottles (both empty, filled & as candle lit center pieces). Just love the cozy ranch feelings you get while dining. They do have a nice lunch special that you should check out for $22 which includes an appetizer, a main entree & a glass of wine! Cannot wait to return!

Yelp
Solid 4. We will be back. I had a perfectly cooked skirt streak, mashed, and very tasty bok choy. Mine was the best skirt steak I ever had. Also, the chimichurri is smoky and rich. My better half had a filet mignon with Roquefort, mashed and bok choy. Her steak was good, but we've had better and the sweet Asian bok choy that came with hers, while delicious didn't really go with the cheese sauce. The flan comes with both wonderful coconut and vanilla flavors with whipped cream and Dulce. Yum!

Shirene T.

Yelp
Had a late night dinner at the new location of Lo de Lea and it was veryyy delicious! Ordered the Parrilla for 2 (which can serve honestly 4 people!). It came with a Lo de Lea salad and fries (one of the crispiest and well seasoned fries) and the chimichurri trio. They also serve you bread in the beginning with three flavors of butter (I believe it was roasted pepper, garlic and kamalata olives). There is plenty of parking in the back of the Best Western. The restaurant is cute and romantic with the low lighting which was nice. Service was great, the girls knew anything we asked them. Definitely be back!

Azalia P.

Yelp
Came in for dinner on a Saturday night and were happy to be seated right away. Fantastic service by our server Luca, from the moment we arrived. My husband ordered the provoleta, which was perfection. He also ordered the sweetbreads, which I didn't try but he assured me were delicious. For the entrees I ordered the bacon wrapped filet and he ordered the pécaña . Both cuts of meat were cooked perfectly and served with the tastiest sides. I will say that bacon could have been cooked longer. Really excellent meal with lovely service. Nothing but love for this Lo De Lea !

Yelp
I found this place through Yelp. This place is adjacent to the hotel. The place is clean and modern but feel cozy. We went early dinner to celebrate a friend's birthday. We had cocktails and glasses of red wine with some mussels to start our meal. They serve these yummy focaccia in a basket. We kept asking for more. Then, we decided to share parrillada. It came with 4 different kinds of meat. I loved ribeye. It was so much. The place is not cheap but if you live meat, you should try this place.

Alan A.

Yelp
Service was understanding of our concerns and willing to change the food brought to the table. Believe they need to work on quality control would be open to giving this location a second opportunity.

Allinson C.

Yelp
My hubby and I have been eyeing this restaurant since it recently opened and thinking about passing by. We finally decided to give it a try. We didn't have a reservation so we had to sit towards the back in a very small table, but we didn't mind. The staff was very friendly and made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in. There was live music which added to the ambiance. We ordered the Empanadas and mollejas to start and we split a Churrasco with Mashed potatoes and brocoli, since we ended up being too full from our appetizers. I also ordered a red sangria, which was delicious. Will definitely be making reservations next time so we can have the full experience!

Nikki G.

Yelp
Lovely new location with charming decor and a cozy vibe. We went on a Friday for dinner and they also had live music. The service is a 10/10 as everyone is very attentive and concerned about the food quality. I had a milanesa and it was good. Nothing extraordinary but good. My husband had some steak which was great, but I do think some of their options are overpriced, but that's just Miami for you. We got the tiramisu for dessert and I didn't like it all. The waitress noticed we barely ate it and ended up not charging us for it.

Jade Y.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick bite after grabbing a new phone. It felt like we briefly stepped into another city outside of busy Miami and on Biscayne at that. The food was superb and the service was even better. You never would have been able to tell you were next to the hotel lobby.

Delfina W.

Yelp
Super good food! Great service. Homemade dishes. So good! Super cute set up inside. Will definitely be coming back!

Karen L.

Yelp
My go-to steak house. Incredible steak, seasoning, and presentation. The atmosphere is really nice too and they have just expanded with an outdoor patio.

Aharon K.

Yelp
We went there tonight after wanting to go for a while. I got the chefs recommended rib eye with a bleu cheese sauce and my wife got the skirt steak with mashed potatoes and bokchoy. The waiter (who was very nice) told us that the steaks were Devine. My rib eye was fine, nothing to write home about, my wife's skirt steak was actually not good. The chimmichuri was the highlight. We also got drinks but they were all too sweet. Another highlight was the kids food, but only the mains. We got them a kids portion skirt steak and the other one a fried chicken, both with French fries as sides, fries were soggy within minutes. All in all i wouldn't recommend and was really let down. Staff is super nice though!

Sarah R.

Yelp
Came here as soon as they opened and sat outside. Didn't really mind that it was by the road since there was a wall of plants separating the dining area. Had the ribeye with mashed potatoes and onions. Perfectly medium rare! There was also a bread basket (sooo good) with some aioli. Overall it was a pleasant experience. Food was delicious and service very friendly.

Audrey S.

Yelp
Adorable little spot. Had a little time to kill and stopped in for a glass of wine and had a lovely experience. Very small. A little seating inside and a little outside. I sat on the front patio, which was loud bc it's right on US-1, but I enjoyed anyway. Space heater was nice on a chillier evening. Service was very pleasant. The ladies who work here were very sweet and attentive. Enjoyed my Malbec and my cute little bread bites. Not very vegetarian friendly, but it's to be expected at an Argentinian place. Loved the vibes anyway and would come back.

Mario V.

Yelp
This is a good Argentinean restaurant that we stumbled upon while on vacation in south Florida. I had the skirt stake and an empanada for appetizer. The Malbec was delicious and the ambience was great. In the background good music was playing and the different accents made the place authentic. I had a good experience with my partner by my side. She had the special, mare a monti linguine. I ended up with a cappuccino to call it a night. Stop by and enjoy the sureño way!

Carla B.

Yelp
Wow, what a disappointment. I used to go to their location in MiMo and was pleasantly surprised when I saw them on Uber Eats a few blocks from my house. But what I used to get at their restaurant versus what I was just delivered for dinner are so far apart from what I am used to, I am pretty shocked. They are getting 3 stars because 1) I know they used to have good food from visiting in the past at their old spot. And 2) because the portion of the food was large. But we ordered the parillada for 2 and as Argentines, we have certain standards on how your meat should taste. The onions I received were burnt and half cooked. So clearly, rushed and thrown in a container. Tossed those out. The mashed potatoes tasted like straight up potato mashed up without any added ingredients. I had to add butter, salt and reheat them to make them taste decent enough to eat with the meat. The meat itself, NO flavor. It was not seasoned with salt or anything at all. The asado de tire was chewy and touch. The skirt steak was medium, not medium rare, and had barely any taste. The salchica parillada was underwhelming (Ive had better buying it from Grazianos and grilling it myself). I didnt even bother with the rest of the items. For the price, honestly ($114), this was a waste of money. And the weird thing is that it arrived cold even though I paid for the direct delivery since they are just a 5-8 minute drive from my house. I can tell that the dine in service must be up to their old standards from the reviews, but I will definitely not be ordering from them for take out ever again. Que tristeza.

Jacklyn K.

Yelp
I was very disappointed in the food in this overpriced Argentinean restaurant. I love Argentinean food and know what good food tastes like. My husband and I had the Milanesa, it was dry, tasteless and over cooked. I can't believe they sell overpriced food that had no seasoning on the beef whatsoever. We wouldn't care about the price, if the food was good. And also my husband asked no eggs on his and they still had eggs on his beef with the running eggs which he hates. Customer service was dry and so was the ambience. Highly do not recommend.

christopher h.

Yelp
There is no better Argentinian Steak House. Lo De Lea has been in business 13+ years and always consistent quality and outstanding service. There are customers that drive 1 hour just to have a great meal there. Leandro and Dana are the nicest people you'll ever meet. A must in Miami!

Denise G.

Yelp
Food and service was great, nice ambience cute place. I recommend to check it out. Staff is very friendly

Stuart S.

Yelp
From begining to end, everything was great! Four different appetizers and entrees, all excellent and perfectly prepared. Ambiance and perfect service added to a terrific experiance for all. We'll be back!

Florencia S.

Yelp
Listen guys! Food is fresh and delicious! Typical Argentinian beef cuts and flavors. Service was excellent! Super nice people, honest recommendations from the menu. Best chimichurri in town. Chef Luis Montoya is experienced with the best restaurants in Miami. I give Lo de Lea five stars. Great ambiance and super clean!

Adam B.

Yelp
What an unexpected find! Had zero expectations when I decided to go to Lo de Lea. Especially being right next to a hotel. Service was awesome start to finish. Carolina was great and ensured I had a fantastic meal. Steak was perfectly cooked, Chef came to say hi, and the Flan was great. Very reasonably priced and absolutely somewhere I'd return!

A. B.

Yelp
The food here was good but overall overpriced for what was delivered. Areas of improvement to justify the price would be better plating And presentation of food. I also felt the fish was over cooked but still flavorful. The flan was okay but not worth $13. There is some tweaking that can be done to make this place great. The ambiance was nice and the service adequate. Four stars seems generous but fair at the same time. I wouldn't mind going back but no rush.

Liz D.

Yelp
My friends and I were visiting and in the mood for Argentinean food. I found this on Yelp and was happy with the reviews. We were immediately seated outside. It wasn't packed at all on a Thursday night. I ordered an carne empanada to start and the skirt steak with mash and broccoli. I ordered the steak medium well and it came out well and chewy. Was not happy with that. Should have stuck with the medium as my friends steak was great. The empanada was ok. Not anything I would ho back for. Food was flavorful . Service was good and waitress was attentive. The owner also came and greeted us which was nice. I'd recommend if you want a nice dinner.

Martine V.

Yelp
It was my first time here. I went for breakfast. The music was nice. The food could have been better. The service could have been better. The waiter messed up on my order, and I had to wait for the correct food. When I was ready to pay the bill. There was no one to find, and I had to wait till someone resurfaced. I even knocked on the kitchen door, and no one came out. I would not recommend this place if you are not staying at the hotel. It's not worth the drive. Its only upside is the convenience of going downstairs of the hotel.

Alan S.

Yelp
This place is a hidden jewel. The ambiance is very nice, the waiters are very special. The food is excellent as much in taste and presentation. Nice music playing. An amazing experience. Highly recommended.

M G.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this place we came for a Father's Day dinner the fact the service was slow could easily be overlooked, but the the meal could not. The steak was completely under seasoned and extremely dry. I cook a lot of steaks at home and I feel this steak was not properly thawed and cooked. My son had the short ribs which was also flavorless. Even the fries were underwhelming they had a freeze dry taste to them. The only reason we somewhat finished the meal was that we were all extremely hungry. Otherwise I would have sent it back and just gone home. Safe to say I cannot recommend this place from this initial visit.

Karla S.

Yelp
High quality and fresh food, you can see the handmade factor, very gentle service, we enjoyed the soccer games there and it was super fun!!! We saw a live demostration about how can you prepare fresh raviolis!!! It was excellent! Nice ambiance!!

Bob S.

Yelp
Small Argentinian restaurant with outdoor seating (though a little too close to traffic for me). Two of us had steaks, the other two pasta. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. Reasonably priced wine list with good options. Luckily for us it's in walking distance.

Nicole B.

Yelp
Nice location, I really enjoy my time there, the food was nice as well. I really like the chimichurri

Ivan H.

Yelp
I've been passing by this small Argentine eatery for a long time and have been wanting to give them a try; also one of my close friends told me about this place and has been coming for a while and said I really needed to try them out; well I finally did, and sadly I was extremely disappointed. When driving up, it appears as if there's no parking for the building they occupy however the lot right next door to the north is shared with their neighbors and you're good to park there. Upon entering on a Friday night, there was only one couple inside along with the owner as well, both eating. Our waitress came and asked us what we wanted to order; we ordered 2 entrees, a couple soft drinks and then afterwards, 1 dessert. 4/5 Skirt Steak $24.00 came with greens and mashed potato. It was ordered in MR and came out just right. It was fairly tender. 2/5 Short Ribs $25.00 came with broccoli and mashed sweet potato and was actually quite good, not too much fat. I didn't care for the mashed sweet potato and wanted to know if I could change them for regular mashed, but when I asked the owner, he responded with a resounding "NO, what am I supposed to do with your mashed sweet potatoes?" He said he could change them but then he would need to charge me since my portion would be discarded. I'm thinking, wow...ok then. 1/5 Coke and Diet Coke $3.00. How do you give a 1 star for a soft drink? How about if they charge you $3.00 for a 12oz Coke (from Mexico) and the same $3.00 for a diet coke that comes in an 8oz. bottle. That's right...they charge the same exact price for different sizes of soft drinks...wish I took a picture of that...I've never seen anything like this...it was the strangest thing. 1/5 Panqueque Dulce De Leche $13.00. So their dessert menu says if you order the pancake, it's $9.00. Add Ice Cream it's $3.00 more. So why do they charge $13.00 when I ordered both? Looks like they're making an extra dollar for unsuspecting customers. There's no reason to rip off the customer who's not paying attention; you can't call it an honest mistake...it's already programmed onto their POS. Do you not think your customer won't add up prices in their head later on? This isn't Ocean Drive. Our server was really sweet, but she just took our order and offered no information on the daily specials; how do I know that? Another table came in and the owner himself took their order and offered a whole list of what was available that day that was off menu. I would have liked to know what else they had but as sweet as she was, she was just an order taker. It was my first time eating here and after spending nearly $90.00 for 2 meat entrees, 1 dessert and 2 sodas with tip...I have to say I see no reason to return. I get it..they're a small place and I'm all for supporting small businesses (food was actually ok) but after all the unexplainable issues from the soft drink sizes, the over charge of the dessert and the owner worried about $0.15 of mashed potatoes, I'd rather spend my money elsewhere and not feel like the establishment is looking to take advantage of me.

Maria D.

Yelp
I m from Argentina leaving nyc , I decided to stop in Biscayne for some good food and wine , well let me tell you this place is amazing food service if you know about quality food this is a perfect place !!! 10 star for this place

Anny S.

Yelp
Excelente!!!! The Food was GREAT, The Service was Fantastic, The Place is Beautiful and Confortable!!!!! Prices are VERY Reasonable Love it!!!! We will come Back

Cassendra L.

Yelp
Had salmon mash spinach and corn. Everything tastes great. The service was awesome and friendly.

Dave M.

Yelp
Great food and great service, every time! The entire staff makes you feel welcome. The place has a relaxed, comfortable ambiance, and a nice variety on the menu. This restaurant never disappoints! We highly recommend Lo de Lea - it's one of our faves in Miami.

Adriana B.

Yelp
I have to say this restaurant was incredible! The food was so good! I don't eat meat but everyone else had the meat parrillada and they loved it. I had the canelones and really they were the best I've ever had! The service was top notch. We were a party of 9 and they didn't miss a beat. The owner was wonderful, we had an issue with a overcooked steak and he took care of it right away. Such a great celebration for my dad's 86th birthday. If you like steak you need to try this place.

Barbara M.

Yelp
Ordered the gnocci and churrasco meet to share, the gnocci themselves were ok, but the sauce they were in was amazing!! The churrasco was also pretty good. We also got there 20 minutes before closing and stayed open just for us. So even though it was empty and just my group of 4 people, it was a very nice private time!

Terri M.

Yelp
I was so disappointed. I had been to this restaurant before in its previous location on Biscayne Boulevard and the food and the service was amazing. The food was still good but the service was sadly lacking. The first person who spoke to our table, a gentleman, only addressed myself and not my companion. Then we ordered the same thing but my companion asked for no tomatoes. There were tomatoes . Then we asked for sugar for the lemonade, which was very sour, and there was no sugar in the basket that was brought to us only zero calorie sweetener. At one point my companion had to go find the waiter to bring them the salad dressing they had asked for. And it was not busy there was no excuse for this. Again sadly disappointed as the food was good and previously we had great service but tonight was just not a great experience

Andrew B.

Yelp
Place was dirty, got a cup of water, and it had stuff in. It got another cup of water, which was also dirty didn't even try the food.

Manuel L.

Yelp
BE CAREFUL. THIS PLACE IS DISGUSTING. I SAW THREE MICE IN HERE. i know someone who works here and went back to the kitchen with hI'm. He wanted to show me how bad it was. The kitchen was filthy. There were tons of roaches. People were smoking in the kitchen. I saw someone drop a steak off a plate into the floor and just put it back on abs served it. I've never seen any restaurant so disgusting.

Bermuda T.

Yelp
Intimate, quiet restaurant with delicious food. Took a party of six there for Father's Day. Did not disappoint. Staff is very friendly. Owner came to the table. Solid Argentinian spot.

Nicole S.

Yelp
Quite night on the terrace with some friends. The service was great. Super friendly and as usually we had the pup with us and they were veery dog friendly. The terrace is right off the street but surrounded by hedges so it's kind of private. We ordered two bottles of wine and shared everything we ordered. I was surprised by the quality of the food from such a small space. You can tell the owners and the chef really care about their craft. Defiantly a great meal.

Nilza B.

Yelp
The food is fantastic, the service is also very very good. There was live music , an amazing evening. Totally recommend.

Mori M.

Yelp
We love this place the food is always amazing Quality meat, cooked to perfection Great service very nice selection of wine While the place is small we go out to dinner early therefore getting a table is not an issue or we make a reservation Even after the pandemic unlike other places where quality or service have diminish not here still the same I notice there prices went a little up, but it doesn't matter it's great food and well worth it if you're a meat eater this place will not disappoint you The best blood sausage I've ever had can be found here
