Google
Brewery with a laid back atmosphere and a large open taproom. The place is dog friendly and just started canning their beer. We attended the day of their can release and they had the artist there for autographs and questions. They color code their beer menu on the wall based on drinkability, which was great for our friends first time. They offered a good selection and our bartender was very patient and kind. They had games available and merchandise you could purchase. Absolutely will be back to try more!

Google
8 million stars. Great beer. Open space with ample seating, soccer on TV, and they support many incredible local artists. The taproom manager Jessé is particularly wonderful. Loved this place so much I visited BOTH on my way in and out of the city.

Google
Great place, was easy to find parking on a Sunday afternoon. They had the best art I've seen in a brewery and the cans are super cool too. The beer was on point, my partner had a couple of the Shortcuts, I had a Double and Deathgrip. All were great, I'm not a big sour person but they were light. Deathgrip was my favorite out of what we had. We will surely be back when we go to Radius or Thalia Hall for a pre concert drink!

Google
Nice brewery in up and coming area. Large, industrial warehouse building with outdoor covered patio. Wheelchair ramp right up to the patio that I hear is doggo friendly (none we're around when I was there). There is a bag set outdoors and small table games inside. Good beers and fast service. I did not notice any baby changing stations in the bathroom if you plan on bringing the babe. I have also heard they have food trucks come by! If you're looking for a low key place for some good beer this is the place!

Google
Pretty chill place with nice live music on certain nights. They have an interesting selection of beer, most flavors just weren’t for me though. The tangerine beer was more sour than expected. There’s also a nice little lounge area with couches and they have a couple of board games available.

Google
Great brewery with a Belgian focus, randomly have food pop ups from local chefs but that’s never guaranteed, check their IG for more info… Most of their beers are 5.5-10 ABV I’d highly recommend any of their dark or Belgian beers. Some of the best in the city. They also have carry out cans as well as growlers if you’re looking to take something home!

Google
Great taproom experience. Full disclosure, I used to work in this building before they started building out this space, so I was really excited to come back and see what they've done with the place. I think like all smaller breweries, some beers are better than others. But I really like how they've worked the neighborhood feel into the place, with local artists on the wall and local cuisine on the patio, it still keeps the charm of Pilsen. And it's a great place to spend an afternoon with friends enjoying brews and playing games.

Google
I stopped here for my birthday, and it was an excellent choice. The space has a nice, laid back vibe and the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. One of the owners, Dave, gave us a tour of the facilities, and it's clear how much they love what they're doing. The beer is great. My group had the 80 Column Scotch ale, the Shortcut Berliner weisse, the Position Zero pale, and the Public Declaration imperial stout. Not a miss among them. I can see each getting a spot in my regular rotation. Looking forward to more rounds here.

Yelp
Recently enjoyed my first visit to Lo Rez! A little off the main streets of Pilsen, but easy to spot with their large space and signage. Service was good, the bartender let us try a few different draft options before making a decision. They specialize in Saisons, but have more options than that. They offer snacks as well, but I didn't try anything during my visit. Some items sounded good though. They also have games to play while you're enjoying your beer, which is always a nice touch in my opinion. They have art from a local artist hanging around in the space which was very cool and fun to see. They also host monthly events and have signage with what's happening each month in the space. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Lo Rez was my first Pilsen experience, and it was great!! So fun and quirky - The bathroom art is remarkable and fun. Their snack options are also great despite how limited they are! They have little "cheese board" options with local cheeses and really tasty crackers which is cute. The beer options also have an adequate variety, and I really enjoyed my Girl Named Herb beer! My friend hosted her birthday party here, and the space is perfect for that! Tons of seating, very spacious, very helpful servers, and very fun industrial vibes - I will definitely be back!!

Cristina P.

Yelp
I had a lot of fun here. The beer prices were reasonable and the place was spacious. The night i went they had a vegan theme and so a bunch of vendors set up shop which was really cool. They had candles, cinnamon buns, tacos, and a bunch of stuff. We had a very large party so the picnic style seating was nice so we could all sit together.

Yelp
Another one of these craft breweries in an old warehouse, helping make the area better. If looking for a big spacious place to drink some good shit, it's here. Lo Rez is the best craft brewery in Pilsen. Has quite a few beers on tap, and many more in cans. The canned beers may be the better ones. Cool looking place in a formerly ugly ass building. It has a huge amount of space inside. They have room for tons of beers, and we have to come back to try a few more. It has a pretty good variety for a local craft brewery. The first I had was the Flora. It's about $7 a pint for most beers. This one is a seasonal beer for winter. It's a witbier with ginger. Pretty light on alcohol but full of flavor and spice. Canned beers are also nice. It seems their sours all come in cans, so apparently these are limited or something. A good one is the Lemon Lime. It has real lemon and lime purée. Has limited stuff as far as food. It's about $2 for crackers or nuts. There's only these few snacks. Gamers can choose from among lots of board games. Included among these is the Big Bang Theory game, of existence I wasn't aware of. This is a good place for nerdy drunks, or whoever.

Yelp
My family hosted a coed wedding shower on Sunday afternoon for a crowd of ~40. The event coordination with Lo Rez was seamless and the BYOF and open bar tab flexibility made it much more affordable than other venues! We reserved the patio and the brewery set up two food table for us. Other than that we did minimal decor and it turned out great! The bride and groom to be were thrilled to be able to bring their dog along to this shower. Would definitely recommend to others for events!

Yelp
Reportedly permaclosing Sept. 3rd. . . . . . . . . . . . . The owner blames COVID-19.

Jay G.

Yelp
5 stars for affordable drinks and a super chill vibe. Heavy on the Smiths so if you're looking for a clubbier sound this isn't it. You can order food here which we didn't know we could do but appreciate nonetheless. It's a little secluded but when you're looking for a relaxed atmosphere in a spacious industrial building tucked away in Pilsen this is a great place.

Yelp
My new favorite local brewery. It's a casual, no frills, quality beer kind of place, for those who love their craft beer and a down-to-earth vibe. Space: I came on a Sunday to do some work on my laptop with friends who also brought their work. We sat in the back of the brewery where there are long, sink-into-the-cushions couches surrounding a wide wooden coffee table. Overall spacious warehouse feel. There's bar seating, couch seating, high chairs, and regular tables. There's also a covered outdoor patio. Amenities: Perfect place to chat with friends over a beer and get some work done. They have free WiFi and the password is on the wall behind the bar. They also have a selection of board games displayed behind the bar that you can check out! The space is dog friendly and there were a couple dogs hanging out inside. Also, there are 3 gender neutral bathrooms. Even the bathrooms are spacious! Each of them also has dope art on the walls. Very clean too. Beer: I had a witbier which was light and refreshing for a hot summer day. Also had their blackberry knockout (tart saison), which also hit the spot! Not too fruity or tart. Covid: There is a sign at the door asking people to wear masks when interacting with staff and when walking around. And that masks are not required when you're seated. All staff wore masks and all the customers seemed to respect the rules. I will definitely be back again. Love the laid back vibe and the beer!

Claudia S.

Yelp
Oh thank fuck, Ginny left, so I can be honest here. We only came here time after time because of Ginny. Everyone else is exactly what I hate about craft. Not bars, not industry...CRAFT. The beers here are whatever. Taste is subjective and I won't rate them on that. If I did, it would be lower. Their service is ass. They're rude, always have been (pre-covid and post), but, I don't buy into their "community" shit anymore, either. Two white guys who are rude as fuck and do MINIMAL, when you look at it? Nah, pass. Hard pass.

Eddie U.

Yelp
This is my second time to this taproom. Once in the winter awhile ago and now on a gorgeous sunny summer day. I like the atmosphere and lofty experience indoors and most definitely outside in their outdoors area. Now to the beers: I had the Daemon which I heard is the most requested beer in this joint. It's refreshing and I tell you - they love Saison experiences. I will return again when back to Pilsen sometime later on. Thanks for always easy and nice service.

Alex L.

Yelp
Decent brews and good times abound at Lo Rez. Happened to come across this on a run one day and stopped by shortly after to try things out. They have a good batch of experimental brews - some hit, some miss but kudos for trying. Had a hot chili pepper lager that was pretty spicy, especially with the carbonation. Their core witbier is a nice sipping beer that's pretty solid for when you're not feeling that adventurous.

Hetal P.

Yelp
Lo Rez has some of the most unique beers we've had recently! Tons of options on drafts and by can. The summer beers are really great. If you love sours they have a few great options! Cool space with plenty seating and outdoor front patio. They have games you can borrow so great to come with a group and have something to do! Love that's it BYOF- tons of great food near by in south loop and Pilsen so highly recommend supporting a local business and bringing your meal here!

Carly S.

Yelp
I loved this spot! We stopped in after dinner in Pilsen, and it was such a fun casual brewery. They have a great outdoor space and a large indoor as well. It wasn't too busy for a Saturday evening, and the bartenders were very friendly and helpful. They had a solid selection of beers--I got the Blackberry Knockout sour beer and loved it. Definitely a cool hidden gem.

Kerr P.

Yelp
Definitely permanently closed. The rest of this is so that I meet the minimum characters.

Sandeep C.

Yelp
Cool spot with good people and decent brews. The day I was there they tapped a firkin in support of mental health with the brew "Things we don't say". The owners were super nice and laid back. The beers need some more work and it's a bit out of the way. Nonetheless I will always support a new brewery like this and hope they continue to get better. Definitely worth a stop.

Ryan P.

Yelp
Pretty cool spot with great beers, a very well laid out tap room, and the best feature of all: they are dog friendly. Or at least they were dog friendly the day I went in late Feb when one of the guests was a super chill greyhound. Some friends and I went on a rainy Saturday afternoon and didn't have trouble finding a table and grabbing one of their games on display (CAH, rock em sock em robots, and more). When we left around five we could see the start of the evening rush, which looked massive. I tried the IPA and liked it enough, and none of my friends had any issues with their beers. Cool place for a drink for sure, just make sure you have Uber or Lyft because it was pretty rough finding a cab around there when we left.

Rodney E.

Yelp
Went to a concert tonight in Pilsen and went to Lo Rez for a couple of beers to kill time before the show. I'm sorry that I didn't tip the bartender more than a dollar as I didn't have any more singles.

Sarah S.

Yelp
What really makes Lo Rez amazing is the excellent staff! It's a super chill taproom in Pilsen that often puts on fun events for the neighborhood. This past weekend, I went for their Pozole contest one of my friends was entering. Oh.My.Goodness. It was so incredibly packed! I don't think they anticipated how many people would show up. There wasn't even room to walk the taproom, so good for them! The bartenders were hustling like I've never seen and even stayed pleasant with some unruly customers. Lo Rez has a good amount of bar seating, some regular tables and then in the back are the comfy couches. Those are the money spots on those big, glorious couches. You then order up at the bar. One sadness I have is they don't do flights or small pours, there's just one option of varying sizes depending on which beer you order. Most of the beers I tried were just alright. None were bad by any means, but they didn't wow me enough that I'd want them again. There was one, great big exception though! Glass Houses Plum Gose! I love sours generally but this wasn't overly tangy with the best aftertaste I've had on a beer. Really loved the vibes and staff at Lo Rez! I will absolutely be back once the beers rotate a bit.

Katey G.

Yelp
The vibe at Lo Rez is super chill, and it's a bright + spacious area. There's a large outdoor seating area along with ample indoor space including a huge bar and couches/tables. They had a good selection on tap and I opted for the dry cider which I loved. It wasn't sweet, but still appley and crisp with a slight carbonation. I'd definitely order this again - and if I wasn't flying home that night, I'd have bought a growler. The best part? You can bring your dog in both the indoor and outdoor areas. If I lived in Chicago, you'd find me here every weekend with my dog Jeffrey. You can also bring your own food, and I'm guessing ordering delivery to the brewery wouldn't be off limits. Just a cool spot to relax with your pets and some awesome beer. Go check it out!

Michelle T.

Yelp
Attended a Can Release Party here for Fedz Art and I gotta say, this space is incredible! It has a vast lofty tap room with bar seating, picnic tables and a cozy couch area. There are board games available and a nice outdoor patio. If you plan to spend an afternoon in Pilsen put Lo-Rez on your list. If you take Carpenter down you'll be amazed at all the murals you'll encounter and appreciate Pilsen's culture. Approaching the building, you'll find it's surrounded by a block of warehouses adding perfectly to the whole vibe of your visit. It's great to kick back and listen to the DJ spin, dogs are permitted on premises, and do not forget to stop and appreciate the three IG worthy bathrooms! Clearly, the only options you'll find here is straight beer but I secretly wish they would also sell food! Overall, great addition to Pilsen!

Andrew M.

Yelp
I am personally a big fan of neighborhood breweries; they tend to be cultural epicenters of a diversifying neighborhood. A melding of the old brick warehouse with the young and new trends. Repurposing and making hip. Lo Rez certainly checks off the boxes for a very hip venue, high ceilings, exposed brick, and mighty overhangs that make for one heck of a patio. Parking was a bit tricky since the building is set in an area that did appear to be industrial at some point in the recent past and is now undergoing a reconstructive renaissance, so really you have to park a block or two or more away on the street. So be wary of pay spots. They building itself is a marvel of old warehouse brought back for modern use. I love the wide open space with crowd gathering benches and long tables. It created a sense of comradery you don't see at a smaller bars with tightly packed tables, and the grand layout carried a raucous, viking-esq kind of feeling. The spacious nature of the room says grab a beer, and rub shoulders; and even though the music was loud like many sports bars it didn't drown out conversations, a big, big plus in my book. The service here was also very conscientious, and exceedingly professional. Although I have to say for a such a crowd the two bartenders were struggling to cover everyone. With easily two dozen people just at the bar, and another dozen outside, these two guys were running back and forth, bussing empty glassware and trying to take orders. This had the negative effect of visually wearing these workers out, and making everyone wait longer for their drinks. Despite that though these guys did bust their butts to get to everyone. Finally, the beer itself was good. I enjoyed the fact that the menu was not overwhelming with a million varieties, and there were some clear winners and plenty of OK beers. The cherry was a tart and tasty choice, but the limewire was a bit on the astringent side. Still of the different beers available I found them all worth a try at the very least, and those you really enjoy they have ready to go six packs in a conveniently visible fridge. I would recommend this spot for group gatherings more than anything else. It's meant for college get togethers, and not Sunday night football.

Mark G.

Yelp
Lo Rez has become my favorite brewery that makes beer I don't love. It's been over a year they've been open, and your boy been coming here a lot and they deserve more than the 3 I gave them. It's about more than the beer. I enjoy that they embrace the neighborhood they opened in, it's residents and culture. They hold farmers markets and events that showcase local artists, food, and more. It's also just a super welcoming atmosphere that I enjoy drinking and hanging out in. Ain't gonna renege on what I said about their beer. But as I've mentioned before, that part is subjective.

Mandy C.

Yelp
Calling all Pilsen beer tasting guinea pigs. Lo Rez is an experimental brewery with a warehouse venue. Free parking. Bartender was a little stiff, but still conversed with us a bit. Plus side, dogs are allowed inside, as well as the outside patio. Downside, the beers have a strong after taste. Keeper Quencher 5.4 ABV- is a yeasty and earthy ale with floral hints. This ale is quenched by many due to an easy drinking quality. Didn't love it, didn't hate it $6 Brett Daemon 8.9 ABV- this barrel aged is a limited release. Taste is strong oaty, complex, and honey tasting. Brett, the name of the yeast. A classic beer. Indifferent opinion. $6 Fernet Fantastico 12.0% ABV- don't let this beer fool you or else you'll be flat on your butt. Marked as a barrel-aged imperial stout, but fully infused with Fernets. Drink a sip- first comes the sweet, milky, minty, and deep chocolate taste... then, comes Hell. We were made aware by the bartender that Fernets is in the title. "I just assumed everyone knew what Fernets tasted like?" We WERE just expecting a little less of it, and a warning for new patrons. Besides preventable measures, we were allowed to choose a different beer which we REALLY appreciated. Drink as you wish, but I am running far away from this beer cocktail. Nice location. Ample free parking. Dog friendly brewery. Not the worst service we have had. I would not be opposed to returning to take another try, but beer was just not for us this time.

Grant A.

Yelp
Came for the 2 year anniversary. DJs playing music outside and celebratory vibes. Went with a cranberry Berliner Weisse which is refreshing on a summer day. I also went with the Public declaration stout because I love stouts!!

Alla S.

Yelp
This is a great brewery! There are so many tasty and quality options here and unique like I'm always seeking out. When not crowded you can get free street parking right here. The patio overlooks the street parking so it's nice to literally have my eyes on my car so I don't have to worry about it. A big one for me when in Chicago. The atmosphere is casual and friendly. I've tried this place once before when they were regularly hosting a vegan baking mini market. It was good to see so many people exposed to vegan food and being hosted by a local brewery trying to make a difference. I find this place to be well accepting of different lifestyles and mentalities. Really good beer on top of that is where it's at. The beers are a little on the higher side in price but nothing crazy especially for the quality. During covid 19 restriction times they have changed over to single use plastic cups of which I really wish they didn't. Hot water and soap kills pretty much anything. When in doubt hydrogen peroxide is natural, biodegradable and even fine to eat a touch and would certainly kill all lingering germs off of glass. Plus covid 19 doesn't last well or long on surfaces. That's the only issue I have as everyone navigates covid 19 please keep the environment a top priority. :)

Kevin F.

Yelp
A nice place with a pretty good selection of beer. I like how you can easily order from your table online and they will bring your drinks out for you. Currently only outdoor seating in the shade so either bundle up or go on a warmer day

Brent W.

Yelp
This place is in a great location for what it is, Lo Rez fits in perfectly. The space is fairly huge w open floor plan and lends itself very well to just hang out, play board games, darts, you name, or just hang out and chill in the many areas of the space. Beer? Yea they have it and it's pretty darn good. Not a huge selection but what they did have was tasty.

Beck F.

Yelp
I really enjoyed the vibes and atmosphere. I came here because they are dog friendly outside and inside the taproom which I think is amazing especially on hot summer days. The menu is not very extensive but it really doesn't need to be. You can bring your own food or order take out from nearby places which is convenient. But they do have a few snacks on the menu. My husband and I enjoyed a few drinks then stopped by a local pizza spot for dinner. Will definitely be a summer spot!

Draven 2.

Yelp
Cool place but service was POOR! Bartender girl was super annoyed when I asked for a flight (they don't do that), then asked to taste something. Tempted to go back just to add her picture to this. She has a horrible attitude, I'm new to neighborhood and found out she has a rep for being that way.

Ninjong L.

Yelp
Went there for the first time for a friend's birthday gathering, actually really enjoyed the beers and the atmosphere at the Taproom. The only reason I'm giving a three stars is because the staffs that were there was extremely rude towards me and my friends. It wasn't just that they were busy so they couldn't provide good services but that one bartender actually looked me in the eyes and gave me an attitude lol and afterwards just tossed my card on the table and walked away. Quite a sight actually. Maybe that staff just didn't have a good day. But overall I had a good time there with my friends.

Scott A.

Yelp
Staff is very helpful, beers are priced well. Great space but needs more than 3 tables. Also more than one table outside. My only major complaint is that there are no pale ales or IPAs of any kind. Maybe im a dinosaur and its on the outs, but thats what i like.

Chris S.

Yelp
Place is amazing. Just up my ally with the tastes. Great addition to the neighborhood. Need a little more people behind the bar...but yumm. Looking forward to coming back here soon.

Matt L.

Yelp
We really enjoyed this place. Lo Rez has a really cool spot with plenty of parking nearby. It's dog friendly, so you can bring your pup or you can pet a random stranger's. The beers are stellar. My girlfriend, who is not a beer drinker, went with the Limewire, which was crisp and fruity without being cloying, perfect for a summer day. I quite enjoyed the Daemon, a Belgian strong golden ale that was smooth and refreshing despite being high in alcohol content. Our bartender Ginny had some great food recommendations as well. You can bring food in or have it delivered. She suggested Bob's Pizza which is nearby and delivers, and turned out to be an excellent pairing with Lo Rez's stellar beers. Lo Rez is a great spot to unwind in a casual environment. Highly recommended, and I am looking forward to our next visit.

Michael P.

Yelp
By allll means, NEVER ask if they have a Christmas Ale. My friend asked this questions (WHILE THEY WERE HAVING A CHRISTMAS MARKET IN THE BREWERY) and was very rudely told that they would never make that kind of beer at the brewery. Dear beer barista please forgive me as my friend has sinned. But seriously, I hate when you go try a new place and ask a completely legitimate questions, especially given the scenario, and are met with a rude/put down attitude. The beer was alright once we did order. I wouldn't say it was my favorite and with the many different options for craft beer in the area, and of course Chicago, it doesn't make you want to go back. I honestly don't even remember what I had. We bought a beer because we were doing a little brewery/brunch tour, but were immediately turned off by our welcome. Maybe I would have enjoyed my beer just a little bit more if it we started out with a more friendly hello.

Katie C.

Yelp
Loved this space! Very comfortable, cabin-esque environment! They have board games, cards and darts available. All beer, no hard liquor. They allow dogs and even outside food. The vibe was really cool, and I could have spent a long time there just hanging out. The bartender was nice enough to offer me a sample, as I'm not super knowledgeable about beer. There is parking on the street, and a nice little patio area outside.

Debra A.

Yelp
I cannot tell enough people I know how wonderful this place is, so it seems only right to write a yelp review. I wandered into Lo Rez about a year and a half ago while out walking my dog. I read that they were dog friendly, but they are beyond that. My sweet pup knows the staff and often "makes" me go grab a beer when we are out for a walk in the neighborhood. The beer is delicious and meticulously brewed. The staff can match you to a beer if you aren't sure which one to order. They have community events, art displays, food trucks, and comedy nights. I'm so lucky I live right near this place!

Eric D.

Yelp
Cool spot with 4 stouts on tap. Dog friendly, cool vibe, patio for summer, food truck outside.

Rodolfo B.

Yelp
Opened in June 17, great addition to Pilsen. Beers are delicious! Had the Shortcut and Whitespace, each was wonderful!! Bartenders are really cool. Place is very cozy. If you are in the neighborhood stop by...and try the pickles, canned by proprietor's relative!!

Tee L.

Yelp
Nothing more nerve wrecking than returning to a place that initially had 5 star service, but this time you barely get average. Some people are so over the top, staff poured a quarter cup of beer then say the price already accounts for the 'head' is absurd. It's a freaking brewery, not many people are here. Anyhow, she possessed a stank attitude, was not attentive, non-apologetic for what drew me here to begin with...the Night Market, and although I showed proof...her only remark was "take it up with them, we didn't post it"- find a personality, weirdo. 3 stars because the Damien is SO good!!!

Tony H.

Yelp
We had a very successful networking event here after a commercial real estate conference. The staff, Emily and Genny where amazing. There where about 80 successful real estate investors. Everyone had beer in their hands, we ordered Pizza from Connie's and had a blast. I'd definitely recommend Lo Rez. Did I mention that they just released 3 limited edition beyou

Kara S.

Yelp
Came here for a drink the other night after Pilsenfest. The place had some customers although it wasn't crowded by any means. This was a Saturday night in the summer around 9ish. The beers were strong. The space is cavernous, had decent seating and plenty of bar seats. I can imagine this being a fun place if it were packed, but it was pretty low-key that night. It was still enjoyable. They have patios in the front, which I can imagine would be fun for day drinking. Bathrooms were clean. It was a nice place to relax, have a chit chat, and chill out. I don't know if I would go out of my way to hit this up but if I were in the area, I wouldn't mind stopping by again, especially during the day. It was a good time. 2 beers for about $20+.

Keith K.

Yelp
Lo Rez is my favorite brewery in our neighborhood. It is laid back, has attentive service, and is an excellent corporate citizen. I have logged over 7,000 unique beers on Untappd and have visited over 200 breweries in person. I only say that as a means by which to demonstrate, I really like beer. Lo Rez makes a wide variety of beers. The beers they make are true to their style and are well executed. If you do not like their beers, odds are you do not like the style you are drinking. Their sour/funky beers are not some tourist challenge of drinking liquified sour patch kids. Instead, they are a balanced representation of the styles. I have taken several other beer enthusiasts there. All have enjoyed the happy marriage of environment and brew. It's wonderful.

Yelp
Stopped in for a beer during a visit to Pilsen. The young lady seating people (outside) and serving the drinks was one of the most miserable people I've ever come across in the "service industry". She had a terrible attitude, was not helpful at all in explaining the App and seemed annoyed to have to wait on customers. We weren't the only ones who noticed it. That being said, the beer was pretty good.

Yelp
Great location in the heart of Pilsen. The space itself is huge, and it even has a nice outside area to stand or sit (a few tables) if the weather permits! I had the LimeWire which was very good and refreshing! I loved that they had many games to play. I think this is the perfect thing to do with friends while having a nice beer!

Yelp
Another quality craft brewery that just opened in Pilsen, just down the block from Moody Tongue, even though they didn't have any IPAs or pale ales, which are my favorite, I still liked the ones that I had, which were the local logic and 80 column wrap, they sell bottles to go from a fridge near the back, cool decor, nice interior decoration, perfect to do a 1-2 punch with Moody Tongue, and then you're not far from 18th st

Yelp
I love this place! It's an open space and they have board games. It's dog and baby friendly too. The workers are nice, and they have great beer as well as growlers!

Yelp
Love these guys- Awesome crew from top to bottom! Their tap list leans towards Belgian and german inspired styles, which is a nice break from the haze craze at most other places. That said, if you are up for some hops, they have great pale ale. This is the kind of taproom that you can come to and feel like a regular even when you're not. The outdoor patio is great, too!

Yelp
I rarely give 5 stars but in this new place I found a gem. Very nice selection of craft beer with decent prices I will be back soon. They run a very clean operation and I need to work my way through this menu. They also offer flights so you can taste all the beers on tap. One word of advice, plan to stay awhile because they are still figuring out an effective method to close your tab especially when they are busy.

Yelp
I am behind in my reviews due to extreme laziness and lethargy due to the dog daze of summer. I've lived in Pilsen for for 17+ years and Lo Rez is a great addition. When I visited they had about 7 beers on tap all reasonably priced. They specialize in Belgian style brewing - and malty but not excessive malt. I can appreciate that style of beer because I'm not a fan of overly hoppy suds even though they feature the hops. For some reason I have a crush on the Milk Stout at 4.9% even though it is summer. I also took a liking to the Berliner Weiss which might have something to do with it being summer and a slight sour is refreshing. (BTW: the 2 aforementioned are known as SYN/ACK & SHORTCUT). Food is a sampling of cheese from Wisconsin and some reallllly good jerky. I have as of yet to try the pretzel but am psyching myself to do it as I am always on a diet and hate to ruin my figure. They have a outdoor seating, ez parking if you drive and the allow dogs in (myself included). I have also heard rumors about pickles......more on that at a later date. And feel free to engage Ginny or Emily about the beers - as they know their stuff!! Almost forgot to mention reasonably priced GROWLERS for that Friday nite I don't have to get up on Saturday song.

Yelp
Nice location for a brewery. The place is nice and open and we went when there was a Christmas market there. So there was food and other good available for browsing. The brewery is also dog friendly. However, the beer selection was limited. Beer selection aside it would be a fine place to hang out with friends with the relaxed environment. However, the service leaves a little wanting. Tis' the season for seasonal beers so my friend asked if there were any. The bartender responded in an off-putting judgmental way saying "we would never do that." Being stiff and unfriendly is one thing, she could have given a simple no. That type of attitude makes those of us who are not elite beer connoisseurs feel unwelcome.
