Lobito de Mar Marbella. El bar resalao de Dani García

My husband and I found this wee gem because the Asador was closed and we kept walking… what a stroke of luck! Half way through our meal we said, “this has to be a 5 star by everyone!!”, it is INCREDIBLE! Service and food is 10/10! We loved it so much we’re going back tomorrow as it’s our last day! This is the best we’ve been to in Marbella in years. Love it! A must for anyone who appreciates good food :)

This restaurant was recommended by a friend who explained the story of Dani Garcia. Honestly I think it was one of the best seafood restaurants I’ve been to. The raw sweet shrimp, the shrimp carpaccio, the tuna carpaccio, the guacamole 🥑 with fried white shrimp 🍤 , everything was just excellent. A must for any seafood lover

Overall we had a really good night and enjoyed our dinner, we would come back, we notice a difference of level between the quality and level of thought put in each dishes, we also would like to see the portion size increased for the price tag.

We had a delicious lunch there and would definitely go back to try more dishes! We ordered an omelet and a seafood rice to share. Great portion sizes and flavors. We also wanted to order the guac but it was too much food for us already. May be next time!

The food was good but it came cold on the table. We didn't finish our starter and the try to clean our table, 3 times so I was shocked about that because we didn't finish. Later I understand that our main dish was already there, so this stay 15 minutes at 5 meter on our table before they served us. Big mistake between staff and kitchen, but for the name an price you pay I need to give 2/5... If it was not happen probably I will give 5/5.

The food was not tasty, except for the tuna carpaccio. The waiter seemed confused and couldn’t suggest anything decent from the menu. The sommelier was more focused on upselling a more expensive bottle rather than recommending a better one. And when I asked for a manager, manager even didn’t come

This place is absolutely delicious! The tuna carpaccio, fried rice, and tuna tartare are must-tries — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is relaxing and perfect for a laid-back meal. We were seated at a high table, which we hadn’t expected when booking through the app. Next time, we’ll be sure to specify our seating preference or call ahead. Highly recommend this spot, just be clear about your table choice when reserving!

A cool atmosphere, but start to finish. This was pretty bad. It took forever to get our drinks and they didn’t get one of the drinks correct but the lack of clarity on the menu was mind blowing. I have been into Europe before and I understand they mark things in grams, but usually when it’s something where there’s more than one serving, they actually put it there in someway to make it obvious.. However, I ordered something and then she came to tell me it was almost 10 times the price. I just wish it had been written down on the menu properly so then I changed my order and they were taking forever and finally I canceled the order the avocado salad with baby shrimps, and the shrimps were the size of canned fried onions and look like the shrimps one would buy freeze dried at a Chinese grocery store. I don’t think that’s appropriate for €18. And €52 for one prawn? Yeah atmosphere was nice but I would call this place. Fine dining so a little excessive. Kind of amazing because last night in Marbella I had one of the best meals in my life and this was one of the worst experiences of my life. The staff really didn’t seem to care either.

This was the second time I visited Lobito de Mar and was very disappointed with the service. Several things went wrong that I believe was due to bad service (communication issues and experience). My father ordered a.plate which was supposed to have 3 different pieces of bonito and only 2 were served. We had to ask for the full plate. My Mum and I ordered lobster which had a set price per person listed in the menu. They charged 3 times the price and when asking the reason for it they argued about the weight of the lobster and other things. Their argument didn't hold as each person we spoke to said something different. Misinformation in the menu is something that can get you into trouble. Careful Lobito De Mar! Finally I ordered pineapple for dessert, explicitly asking for it to be plain and they served it with a yogurt sauce. Bad experience overall.

Our first dinner in Marbella didn't disappoint. All of the dishes were amazing especially the creamy lobster rice and mature cow chopped. Service was great.
