Lobito de Mar Marbella. El bar resalao de Dani García

Stunning restaurant! Very classy and well decorated. At the entrance a beautiful setting for the perfect pic! Service was truly brilliant, everything was well explained and always someone coming to check if everything was okay. We had and fried aubergine that’s was beautiful and what was like oysters and my hub said was good. Creamy rice was very very tasty, truly delicious but disappointing it didn’t came with much seafood as you can see in the pic. So my overall is 4⭐️ for not much seafood in the dish and also not really children friendly because it doesn’t have any kids meal in the menu. Many families around and having to pay for a full meal for a 6 year old in a nice restaurant definitely discourages a bit.

You must try tuna in this restaurant either carpaccio tuna or tuna neck on paella. The best tuna ( except toro in Japan ) I ever had . Only two things I do think restaurant need to improve. First the waiting food period is way too long. second that two reception gals they need to change. Poker face with arrogant attitude for no reason ! You need ppl have good vibe and welcoming in front of the door to serve the guests. The waiter for our table has great vibe and good recommendations for the food . If he is the one who gave us the bill definitely we will give big tip however it’s a reception gal with very red lip stick dark hair having very strange attitude . We did not leave any tip only because this receptionist. It’s such a lost for other service team and most damage image for business owner .

Lobito de Mar was good. The anchovies with charcoal butter were salty and smoky with a soft texture. The tuna carpaccio was very thin and fresh. It was made from the best parts of the tuna and you can really tell. The octopus noodles with black ink had a strong rich taste and looked cool too. The hippo ice cream dessert was fun and tasted like something from childhood. This is the second restaurant we try by chef Dani Garcia and he didn’t disappoint. Big salute to the chef.

My husband and I found this wee gem because the Asador was closed and we kept walking… what a stroke of luck! Half way through our meal we said, “this has to be a 5 star by everyone!!”, it is INCREDIBLE! Service and food is 10/10! We loved it so much we’re going back tomorrow as it’s our last day! This is the best we’ve been to in Marbella in years. Love it! A must for anyone who appreciates good food :)

This restaurant was recommended by a friend who explained the story of Dani Garcia. Honestly I think it was one of the best seafood restaurants I’ve been to. The raw sweet shrimp, the shrimp carpaccio, the tuna carpaccio, the guacamole 🥑 with fried white shrimp 🍤 , everything was just excellent. A must for any seafood lover

Overall we had a really good night and enjoyed our dinner, we would come back, we notice a difference of level between the quality and level of thought put in each dishes, we also would like to see the portion size increased for the price tag.

We had a delicious lunch there and would definitely go back to try more dishes! We ordered an omelet and a seafood rice to share. Great portion sizes and flavors. We also wanted to order the guac but it was too much food for us already. May be next time!

A wonderful atmosphere, beautiful décor, friendly and polite staff, fast service, and delicious foods. It was the perfect choice for our wedding anniversary. We loved it and will definitely come again.♥️♥️

I spent more than 500 euros to be so humiliated. Ugly practice. Beware!. So sorry I reviewed the restaurant too fast.

This was the second time I visited Lobito de Mar and was very disappointed with the service. Several things went wrong that I believe was due to bad service (communication issues and experience). My father ordered a.plate which was supposed to have 3 different pieces of bonito and only 2 were served. We had to ask for the full plate. My Mum and I ordered lobster which had a set price per person listed in the menu. They charged 3 times the price and when asking the reason for it they argued about the weight of the lobster and other things. Their argument didn't hold as each person we spoke to said something different. Misinformation in the menu is something that can get you into trouble. Careful Lobito De Mar! Finally I ordered pineapple for dessert, explicitly asking for it to be plain and they served it with a yogurt sauce. Bad experience overall.

Our first dinner in Marbella didn't disappoint. All of the dishes were amazing especially the creamy lobster rice and mature cow chopped. Service was great.
