Very cute set up by the water. Service was great and food came quick! Ordered lobster roll, clam chowder and lobster bisque. Roll was simple but satisfying with tender chunks of lobster. Clam chowder was tasty but the bisque was a little lackluster. It was a little too sweet for our liking and tasted just creamy. Overall a great fuss free experience with a nice view to boot.

Google
Incredible food! I loved how after you order you can sit right next to the water to enjoy your food. The gluten free lobster roll almost didn’t taste gf. It has such delicious gf bread and very delicious lobster, highly recommend!

Elizabeth

Google
The hot lobster roll was buttery, packed with tender lobster, and served in a perfectly toasted bun—simple and amazing. The soups were just as comforting: creamy clam chowder, and rich lobster bisque. Perfect combo for a cozy, satisfying meal. Highly recommend.

Google
You're definitely paying for the name more than the food in my opinion. It wasn't by any means but the prices were a little high in my opinion. $35 for a small lobster roll and a can of soda and the lobster roll was just okay. Not bad but not amazing. And most of the seating is in a parking lot. Feels very local which is fine if that's your vibe.

Google
The Lobster Landing checks all the boxes for the ultimate Connecticut Lobster roll worth the drive. Tender succulent and bountiful lobster meat in a soft butter roll screaming with flavor. Don’t miss the Chowder. The chowder was full of fresh clams savory and steaming hot just like it should be One of the best seafood shacks I’ve ever experienced with a true New England vibe “. Friends can’t make it they offer fast friendly service and provide lobster roll to go cook with instructions to make at home. The adjacent raw seafood market offers the finest steamed lobster, clams and other Fish options that you can take home or dine undercover dock side tables Can’t wait to go back

Google
First time trying lobster landing and was a bit disappointed. Parking is small, and since this place is always busy it may be hard to find a spot. They have outdoor picnic tables and plastic chairs, they do have a tent in case of rain and their location is right on the water. I got the hot lobster roll (they do not sell cold lobster rolls) for $29 the bun was your average hot dog bun with butter and finely chopped lobster pieces. My partner wanted to try but it wasn’t big enough to share and after eating it all I was still hungry. He ordered the hot dog and it wasn’t great. Staff was friendly but with the amount of money and the location of this place they could absolutely make the space a little more comfortable and updated. Add some candles for the vibes? Maybe some outdoor music? Very basic place for a lobster roll.

Google
This was our second time traveling down to the lobster landing the first time, it was just too crowded so we returned on a Tuesday and were able to order right away. We had two lobster rolls and a cup of clam chowder. The lobster rolls were about $28 each in the clam chowder was around $7. The lobster roll was filled with lots of good flavorful lobster! The hot buttery roll and toasted bun were a welcome lunch treat at this beautiful shoreline location. The chowder was also delicious with lots of clams and it was full of flavor. We also opted for the lobster bisque, which was delicious !Enjoyed our afternoon at the lobster landing and can see how with many crowds it can be hard to visit. However, if you get the opportunity it's worth checking out!

Google
Great example of a Connecticut lobster "shack". They serve Connecticut style lobster rolls, they have a gluten free roll too, but I wouldn't recommend it unless you have too. The rolls are pricey but it's lobster after all. The seating area is limited , so choose your time wisely, I would avoid when church gets out, as it's popular with a few churches close by.

Yelp
I was in the area and saw a line at this stand and figured I'd give it a try. I got the sausage sub and Cole slaw. The sausage sub was really fabulous and the Cole slaw was very good. The only criticism I have is that I paid $1.75 for a tiny cup of slaw. That being said, I also paid $7.50 for the sausage sub and it was certainly worth much more than that!! This place is a great lunch spot on the water and the staff are very pleasant and accommodating. There were a lot of repeat customers who've obviously got nice on-going relationships with the staff. Key indicator!! I didn't have the nerve to get the very reasonably priced $29.75 lobster roll this time, but I will defenitely be back and be sure to give it a try!

Yelp
I have been to Lobster Landing many times and sadly this weekend's visit was the worst. Under new ownership, they have decreased the size of the roll from 5 oz to 4 oz while increasing the price. It seems the roll has also changed, as this was less of the New England style roll that I've been accustomed to having there over the past few years. Hopefully was just a bad night versus more permanent changes to come.

Yelp
I have been wanting to go here for so long. The problem is the line is always so long after the beach but this time I decided to go when they first opened before the beach and There was no line!! The lobster roll with butter was so delicious! The hot dog was also delicious! Everyone was so nice and the view was so nice!! I will definitely be back!!

Yelp
Typical lobster roll and over priced as usual. Nothing to write home about. The customer service was excellent. Very nice staff and a great location by the water.

Yelp
Wow, just wow! This is an amazing lobster roll and I highly recommend it. Dare I say better than the ones I have had in Maine. I love this spot because the food is good, it's quick service and it's very casual and right on the water. A great spot for lunch on a nice day!

Yelp
3.5/5 (rounded up because of the clam chowder) I saw many social media posts about this spot and it definitely lived up to the charm of being a cute shed near the water serving up lobster rolls and chowders to locals and tourists. Is it the best lobster roll I have ever had? Not really. Was the clam chowder one of the best I've had in a while? Yes!! Lobster roll (1/4lb) $28 {3.5/5}: The lobster itself was buttery and naturally sweet, pretty good! The bread itself was a let down as it was dry and did not have much flavor or aroma that is more expected for a price point of $28/roll. What saves it is that it serves as a great vessel for that chowder.... Clam Chowder {5/5}: As the sign on the menu says, served HOT. Even in the heat wave we've been having, I thoroughly enjoyed this chowder. Our group unanimously agreed, best we've had in recent memory. Good amount of clam throughout and perfect richness that pairs well with the roll. I would come back just for this. Very friendly people and beautiful location. If you're in the area, check it out!

Yelp
Very solid food for the price. Service seemed a bit overwhelmed with the rush but did a great job. Ambiance is right by the docks which was amazing for eating seafood next to. Would definitely recommend a pit stop here

Yelp
Another year, another lobster roll. This place still does not let me down. Came on a weekday to avoid the crowd and they still got it. The lobster rolls tasty- I tried it dipped in the bisque but in my opinion it takes away from the already flavorful roll. This was my first time trying the Lobster bisque, it was a good compliment to the roll, especially on this windy day. A bit creamy and still had a good portion lobster in it. Our younger guests enjoyed the hot dogs and sausage subs, and had no complaints.
google avatar

Yelp
You're right by the water, and there are tables in the shade (if you can find one!). Service was quick, even with a long line it didn't take long at all. This roll was good, not great. Market price for the lobster roll and although it is stated in the menu, it's a fairly small hot dog bun. What I did enjoy was the chunks of lobster, no filler at all. I wasn't a fan of the lobster bisque, but that's a personal preference. Spent $80 for two of us. Left still feeling hungry, so although it was delicious I don't think getting a double would be worth the price. Shame that inflation has gotten so high.

Yelp
I recently visited Lobster Landing in Connecticut, and I was thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. The highlight of my meal was the lobster roll and lobster bisque. The lobster roll was absolutely divine, packed with generous portions of fresh, succulent lobster meat that was perfectly seasoned. The buttery, toasted roll complemented the lobster beautifully, making each bite a delightful experience. The lobster bisque was equally impressive. Rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor, it was the perfect comfort food. The bisque had just the right balance of seasoning and lobster chunks, making it a memorable dish. The atmosphere at Lobster Landing was charming and inviting, and the service was top-notch. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure that every aspect of our meal was perfect. Overall, Lobster Landing offers an exceptional dining experience. If you're a seafood lover, especially a fan of lobster, this place is a must-visit. I can't wait to return and indulge in their delicious offerings again!

Yelp
We came to Lobster Landing for lunch on our way back from a trip. Ordered the lobster roll ($28.50), clam chowder ($7.75), and spicy sausage roll ($6.75). What is confusing about our experience here is... for a place that has been given recognition for best lobster rolls year after year, how could it taste so underwhelming? Honestly the lobster roll we got tasted bland, the lemon and melted butter did nothing for it other than make the roll soggy, and for a "toasted bun" it wasn't even warm. Oddly enough, the spicy sausage roll and the clam chowder was the highlight. Sausage had a nice snap with good flavor. Chowder was piping hot with a good amount of clam chunks inside.

Yelp
I finally was in the Clinton area AND it was senior day so of course I had to eat here. (Half off Wednesday) I ordered the lobster roll and bisque. The bisque had no umami or flavor and very little meat for $10. The lobster roll was hot, buttered, a decent portion, and served with a smile. The meat was overcooked and sort of sad and tired looking and chewy. I only tasted butter, not sweet lobster. Weird but what it lacked in taste it made up for in character.
google avatar

dean p.

Yelp
While the roll was still very wet (seemed like the water used to reheat the lobster and not butter), the lobster meat was great. Tender, fresh and with a very pleasant lobster flavor. One of the team said her dad starts the cooking at 4am every day. The cole slaw was also good with the right amount of mayo and celery seed - slaw servings are small so get two if you like slaw. They just need to dry out the bun... they toast it lightly but making it soggy defeats the purpose of toasting it. Next time I'll be asking for them to dry off the lobster before putting it on the bun or ask for it on the side and I'll dry it myself.

Yelp
I came to Lobster Landing all the way from NY to try these amazing lobster rolls that my coworkers had been raving about! Let me tell you he was right! The lobster roll was absolutely delicious. Packed with fresh lobster meat, butter and some lemon it was perfect on that toasted bun. I will say the line was long however they moved along quickly and the service was very good. The moment we ordered our food and found a seat they were already calling our name. The view was beautiful right by the water with a nice crisp breeze. Although it was crowded it wasn't rowdy. It was a great experience 10/10 and I would definitely go back.

Yelp
How much better can you get: lobster, butter, roll. Simple, classic, delicious!! They even have gluten free rolls that they don't skimp on the lobster!! Their clam chowder is thick, full, and is totally worth eating even if it's 90 degrees out!
google avatar

Yelp
For a beautiful day, it's a great spot to sit outside. Be prepared to wait in a line to order however it does go quickly. Lobster roll was pretty good. No soggy bun! Picnic tables to sit in. Reasonably priced. For those who like to be served it's not that kinda place.

Yelp
Memorial weekend, 1st time at Lobster Landing. Last year or 2yrs ago I visited but it was closed . But here I am. Visited on a beautiful day. I was craving a lobster roll. Gluten Free of course. They also had GF clam chowder. But I just got the lobster roll, it was a hot buttered roll. It was so tasty! Great price. Decent amount of meat . The lady working was very nice! It just made the start of Memorial Weekend that much better!

Yelp
This is everything you want on a nice summer day. There are dozens of tables that overlook the water to watch boats pass by. Parking can be difficult to find but there is a marina with a large parking lot two short blocks away. The 1/4 lb lobster roll has the right amount of butter and lemon juice with a toasted bun. The NE clam chowder was the best I've had in awhile. It was perfectly creamy, peppery and nice portion of clam and potato. There are some non seafood options and it's a BYOB spot. I highly recommend visiting if you're in the area!
google avatar

Nichole S.

Yelp
It's a quiet area, with seating outside only. Cute day date spot and the food is superb. The portion sizes are quite small but definitely a check out destination! Try the lobster roll- it was delicious

Yelp
I visited at 430 pm on Saturday and the line was long! Parking was simple and I found a spot right away. Seating definately needs a refresh. The chairs and tables were worn down and uncountable. After a 25 minute wait I enjoyed a small coleslaw and hot lobster roll. The lobster roll is a large portion of lobster and the meat was very sweet and juicy. I would have liked more hot butter. I don't see how other reviewers had negative comments about the roll? I thought the roll was comparable to coastal Massachusetts standards. Two lobster rolls and 4 ounce coleslaw cost $64.15 cash.
google avatar

Jen W.

Yelp
They do the originals right!! Best clam chowder I had in Connecticut (and I tried a bunch on our recent trip) generous portion too for the price! The lobster roll was tender and wonderful. Ask for extra butter for an even better experience. The whole time I wanted to go back and get more haha.

Yelp
Just stopped by here on our way out of CT for the weekend. I was told it was a must have. Everyone was really nice and it was a very town like feel, very cute and quaint. I had Cole slaw and a lobster roll. Absolutely no complaints. Everything was so so good and fresh, keep it simple here and definitely give it a try. So good.

Yelp
Lobster quality was great - tender, juicy, fat. Nicely buttered on cheap bread lol. Soup was meh. Got the lobster one which it was creamier and had more lobster pieces.

Yelp
I know I'm going to catch flack for this, as Lobster Landing in Clinton has its enthusiasts, but I just don't see the value. Recommended: Maybe, but with reservations. Overall: A charming waterfront location that doesn't quite deliver on its lobster roll reputation. Snapshot: Food: 3/5 Drink: BYOB Vibe: 3/5 Service: 5/5 ‍‍ Family-Friendly: 3/5 Highlights: -Perfect For: A scenic lobster roll experience, if you're nearby -Don't Miss: The view by the water -Bonus Tip: Be aware of the significant bee presence, especially during the summer. All The Details: Lobster Landing, with its idyllic waterfront setting, seems to be a local favorite, but my experiences left something to be desired. On both visits, the lobster rolls were over-toasted and the lobster itself slightly rubbery. The portion sizes, which once felt justified by lower prices, now seem less so with their recent price hike. The staff were great, very friendly and efficient, making the service aspect a highlight of the visits. However, the spot can feel a bit cramped, especially when trying to fit a stroller at a table. While they do have a nice environment for families, the lack of a kids' menu (aside from options like hot dogs) means it's not the best fit for younger diners. One notable issue was the bees - I understand it's probably out of their control, but there were significantly more than I've encountered at other local outdoor venues, which was quite bothersome and made it impossible to feel safe while dining. The table next to us also got up and left due to the bees. Given its convenient location, I might consider giving it another try, but with better options available a little further away, I'm in no rush to return.

Yelp
Food: lobster rolls, clam chowder, spicy sausage sandwich, and cole slaw. Yummm - warm lobster rolls, they were solid - only wished they put a little more butter Clam chowder was awesome Spicy sausage sandwich was awesome, don't add the sauerkraut but get coleslaw to top it on the sandwich. Put the southern twist to the sandwich, I promise you will not regret it. As another Yelper said, get extra cole slaw - you will need it. Ambiance: typical boat dock area so don't expect white table cloth dining experience but a nice waterfront experience. Folks were all friendly! Don't come here with a price conscience mind, but come here to enjoy decent food.

Yelp
I came for the Connecticut style buttered lobster roll, and this place did not disappoint with the double. The lobster was so fresh and prepared perfectly with lots of butter and a touch of lemon juice. My only complaint was that the double roll actually contained too much lobster meat restive to the amount of bread. Next time, I will just order 2 of the normal size rolls to get a better ratio of bread to lobster. I also ordered a side of corn on the cob which was not great, probably because it was out of season. The point of this place is clearly the fresh lobster, so I don't hold that against them. The setting is rustic and informal. We ordered outside in their tent and sat at a picnic table on a dock overlooking the water. The staff were friendly and polite, but service here is minimal. Expect canned beverages and disposable utensils. If you're looking for authentic lobster of the freshest quality, this is a good place to check out!
google avatar

Dan S.

Yelp
What can I say that hasn't been said? You come here for delicious hot lobster rolls (none of that cold Maine lobster roll stuff here). They're quite good. Excellent in fact. What stands out is that it's not drenched in butter that overwhelms the lobster. And there's a lot of lobster. And best of all it's actually the toll. It holds up quite well to it and doesn't fall apart. Plus it's darn tasty. Oh and the clam chowdah is delicious. A great example of the soup. Seating was in picnic tables right by the water which was lovely. We didn't wait too long even in the height of a Saturday summer afternoon. Just go if you want a lobster roll. At $26, it provided an afternoon of happiness.

Yelp
This is a quick review of an iconic New England seafood establishment. Lobster Landing is a quaint little restaurant located in the quiet town of Clinton, Ct. With the space right on the water of Long Island Sound, you instantly get the "I'm down the shore vibe," which added to the authenticity of the experience there. You can see the history of the sea's effects on the restaurant as years of seawater has created a warped and almost museum like quality to the exterior. We arrived and were met with a small line, which moved pretty quickly. You place your order with the friendliest lady in front, then simply wait for your name to be called. There were two two ladies in the kitchen cooking, and they were pumping out orders quite efficiently. They have a pretty small menu with, of course, the lobster rolls being the star! We ordered 3 Connecticut style rolls, which are served warm with butter on a unique long and slender bun. Not the typical split potato bun you would associate with your classic lobster roll. I also ordered a hot dog with cheese for my daughter, lol. While waiting, I got some nice pics of the boats in the Sound as well as the lobster preparations in the shed across from the actual restaurant. Our number was called, and I retrieved the goods, so we grabbed one of the benches nearby to dine. There's a larger space of a dining area on the other side directly outside from where you order. Luckily, we beat the rush as a fairly significant line and formed while we were waiting. I ordered the standard size rolls at 26.50, which was a 1/4 lb. of lobster meat. They have an option for a 1/2 lb. of meat on the same size roll for 56.50, but we that to be an unnecessary splurge money wise. We all found the normal size rolls to be deliciously presented and prepared!! Proper rolls with warm, briny, and buttery lobster nirvana in each savored bite!! Even my daughter's hot dog was a great option as it was a large sausage sized( head out of the gutter lol!) doggie with a great snap and a surprising spice! The whole experience was such a treat as the service from the team there was amazingly friendly, chatting with us the whole time about our trip and their experiences working there. Lobster Landing is absolutely a destination stop when visiting the greater New England area, and we are counting the days until we can make our next visit there!! Cheers to all!!!

Yelp
Lobster Landing was a bucket list place for me. I was so excited when we rolled up and I saw the building! And let me tell you, it lived up to the hype. Staff was extremely friendly and have my dog lots of treats! I loved that we could eat there with him by the water. Amazing views. The lobster roll was perfect. Packed with plenty of fresh warm lobster. The bun was even top tier. We couldn't resist getting the lobster bisque to try as well, and I loved that it had fresh lobster chunks in it too. This is so close by to the highway - if you're passing through CT, you have to stop here. No excuses!

Yelp
A quick 30 min drive from Yale U and you are transported to a quiet, waterside lobster shack. We had their lobster roll, their kielbasa and pepper/onion roll and their New England clam chowder. Lobster roll is a notch higher in taste, size, and yumminess than the ones we've had around the Mystic area. Wasn't expecting much from the sausage but guys, this may be right on par with their lobster rolls! They use a snappy smoked Kielbasa on a roll and to serve it simply with onions and peppers made our palate's day! Clam chowder was thick and creamy with a generous amount of clams. Service was friendly and fast. Parking is gravel parking right beside their kitchen. Porta potties. Shaded and unshaded areas to sit at. Dockside and roadside. All the charming vibes of a lobster shack :)

Yelp
What a gem in Clinton, Connecticut! Had heard a lot about lobster landing and made the drive to check it out as we both love lobster. It's an extremely small little gem tucked away in the corner of Clinton Harbor. There were so many people there it spoke for itself as to why. Fresh buttery lobster warm on a bun selling like hotcakes. The half pound lobster roll was pricey I suppose - but worth it if you love lobster - bx it was great. Chunks of warm lobster and butter sauce piled into a hotdog roll. Gluten-free rolls are available too. They have seating both on the deck and right next to the counter. Plastic chairs and tables or picnic tables that have seen a lot of sun. However, that adds to the experience in my opinion. There are other options, but what's the point? Go check out the real lobster rolls and enjoy every bite! 5 stars!

Yelp
Excellent lobster rolls , coleslaw , clam chowder & lobster bisque . Awesome outdoor seating and great customer service

Yelp
Beautiful views and a delicious fresh, packed lobster roll! Great portion, and sweet employees!

Yelp
Not sure what all the hype is about. I was just there and spent $128 on 4 lobster rolls and 2 cans of coke. Based on all the reviews I felt it was worth a chance. I order to go and upon getting home I felt like the lobster disappeared based on the very small portion, honestly I was surprised and disappointed at the same time. I am a local Clinton resident and will not be returning here. I have traveled all over and this was a shock. Not my recommendation.

Yelp
A great place if you are here in the Spring time. This place is considered to be a very great place if you like to be cozy. The manager was also very nice and also the food was very quick to arrive to our table. The food was also very delicious especially the Clam Chowder and the Crab Chowder was delicious as well. I would rate this 10 stars if I could.

Yelp
Lobster Landing deserves all the hype it's been getting recently - the rolls are so buttery, warm, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious! Their staff was very fast shooting out their lobster rolls to everyone and you could grab a table while you wait right by the water. However, if seafood is not your thing, they also serve sausage and peppers, and hotdogs. It is BYOB as well! The area surrounding the restaurant is beautiful and was nice for a stroll following our meal. I know I will be going back soon, their lobster bisque is calling my name.
google avatar

Yelp
If you Google "Best lobster rolls in CT," you'll find that Lobster Landing in Clinton is consistently listed near the top, and for good reason! We're so lucky to have some of the best lobster rolls around- that is, hot, buttered, and served on a toasted hotdog bun. And Lobster Landing certainly does not disappoint! I recently went and ordered a lobster roll, which was made perfectly. Large chunks of lobster, just the right amount of butter, and a warm, lightly-toasted bun. The price was $27, which I found reasonable and comparable to other restaurants. The service was also very fast and the staff were friendly. This lobster "shack" is located at the end of a dead-end street, and they have picnic tables and outside seating where you can sit and eat your food while enjoying a beautiful view of Long Island Sound. They also have covered seating under a tent. Overall, one of the best lobster rolls in CT and a must-visit spot this summer!
google avatar

Ray B.

Yelp
I've heard much HYPE about this place as being the best in CT for a lobster roll. We went on a holiday weekend. Was fairly busy. Staff is friendly but menu is limited as it is what it sounds like. Lobster rolls and some odds and ends. The lobster roll was really bland to me. Roll wasn't buttery. Almost tasteless. Have had so many better lobster rolls in CT. Corn on cob same thing. Just really bland. Hot dog was OK but that's not why you are there. It was around $60 for lobster roll, 2 hot dogs, 2 sodas. Seems kinda crazy. Also the old fashioned New England town thing is nice but man that place looks beat up. I think that's the ambiance they want but still maybe at least some new tables or a new tent?? Honestly no rush whatsoever to go back. Maybe never.

Yelp
Delicious!! My boyfriend and I drove from queens, ny with our dog to get some lobster rolls since this place has good reviews! The spot is right by the water and there are a lot of seats and parking. There was a line but we didn't have to wait long. The workers were really nice and they gave my dog a treat. We typically go to captain Scotts but we got tired of their soggy lobster rolls. The lobster rolls here were perfect! The bun was toasted just right and the lobster was amazing! It had the perfect amount of butter. I ate it so quick I forgot to put salt and pepper on it. I would recommend that you put salt and pepper on it prior to eating it!

Yelp
We have been coming to Lobster Landing since shortly after we moved from Cincinnati to Madison, CT. Now that we are back in Cincinnati we continue to travel to Madison every year and we always eat at Lobster Landing. It breaks my heart at what inflation has done to this adorable little place. It isn't their fault because they need to make a profit, but the price of their lobster rolls is about the same, but the serving seems much smaller. Oh well, I guess you can chalk up another casualty to inflation????? The service seems to have fallen off too. In the past you ordered and paid for your food, gave them your name, and when it was ready it was delivered to your table. Now, you order and pay for your food, and give them your name. When your food is ready it is put into a large paper bag and placed on a table next to the cashier, and they holler your name so you can walk up and pick up your bag. You would think that for about $67 (2 cans of Diet Coke, 1 bag of potato chips and 2 Lobster Rolls) they would bring your meal to you, especially when you leave them a tip in addition to the $67? It is a small thing and I can probably be accessed of being petty, but I think a lot of businesses are taking advantage of this inflation issue! Too bad for consumers of anything.

Yelp
Came here over Memorial Day Weekend and was not disappointed one bit. Old school lobster shack with other offerings. The place was right off the water with a ton of picnic tables and old school plastic chairs. The food area was run by a few gals, and they were hustling around between the cash register, grill area, indoor kitchen, etc. They were friendly and turned orders quickly. Simple menu. Lobster rolls big and small, bisque, chowder, sausage roll, sausage and peppers roll, chips, ice cream, and a few other odds and ends. Real no frills experience but it HITS. We ordered the following: 2x hot lobster rolls - probably the best roll I've ever had. Super fresh, not too much butter. Came in tin foil Sausage and peppers roll - don't sleep on this. It is excellent and definitely a bargain at $7.5 2x sour cream and onion chips 2x coca colas 100% recommend to anyone in the area or driving through on their way to cape cod or Newport.

Yelp
The Lobster Landing is a charming little restaurant with only outdoor seating that's open until December! You order your food at the register under the tent and pick it up when your name is called; which arrives in a paper bag and in little containers or wrapped in foil. They could improve on the quality of the plastic utensils, and at least offer soup spoons instead of teaspoons... but let's not be negative here. The atmosphere is casual and relaxing. There are three areas to sit in and all of them have a view of the water. The lobster roll was terrific! And because there was only one small piece of claw tip (that awful rubbery, usually darker end of lobsters claws), the 1/4 lb lobster roll was a decent and filling portion. It was perfectly cooked and truly delicious. The Clam chowder was delicious, thick and chunky. The Lobster Bisque wasn't too rich, but lacking lobster meat; he found three little pieces, which was disappointing after being told they add meat to it after scooping to make sure there's a bunch. The spicy sausage sub was delicious. My husband said the Spicy sausage sub with onions and peppers and mustard vinaigrette was amazing! They have one that isn't spicy too.

Yelp
Nice sized lobster rolls with a good amount of lobster. Clam chowder is worth trying. Nice staff and great location on the water. We had a lovely lunch watching the boats go by then got to go see the live lobsters.

Yelp
Very solid lobster roll! Only option is served hot and the lobster was fresh and well cooked. We also had the bisque which was just ok, sort of sweet in my opinion which I thought was a bit odd. But the service was pretty quick, waited maybe 10 mins for food after ordering. The setting is bare bones but it's nice to be able to sit outside and they have cover and uncovered tables.

Yelp
Finally made it to this place! I've been wanting to go for a while! I'm glad it was still open. The tide was flooding the street but that didn't stop us from going in! Lobster roll was yummy and the lobster bisque was good. We beat the crowd so everything came out quickly. It was a nice day to sit outside by the water. I don't know if I'd go again since it was on my list, but if I'm in the area it's a good place for a good lobster roll!

Yelp
I ventured to a Lobster Landing for my 1st time for the Lobster Roll on a busy Memorial Day weekend. After standing 20 minutes to order and then waited another 15 minutes for it to come out didn't find it worth the trip. I heard this is the best place to get a lobster roll and I don't agree. They were very busy and that could have been the reason why. It was fresh but the rolls are alittle to thick for me. Would have liked the lobster to not be cut up into chunks as I like whole pieces. Everything is ordered outside of the main building and they have a lot of staff to help to move these fast. Next time I will try the seafood chowder.

Yelp
My best friend and I visited Lobster Landing on our roadtrip back to NYC. I really wanted to love this place, but in all honestly the lobster roll was nothing special. The roll, corn, and salad were all very bland and mediocre. All the women that worked here were very sweet and it has a great ambiance - right on the water and a cute New England vibe, but I don't think we will be returning.

Yelp
Sometimes the rolls are to die for...sometimes too fishy n chewy. A hit or miss for me atleast.... Would expect some consistency at $30 per lobster roll
