Local Canes

We came here on a recommendation from our daughter who loves calamansi juice. The big bonus is they used fresh pressed sugar cane, which gave the juice a fresh light and not too sweet flavor. We are definitely going back to try more flavor combinations.

I was very pleased to hear that Oceanside finally got its very own sugarcane juice shop! So I went to check out Local Canes fresh-pressed juices! Local Canes is located in a very convenient spot in a high-traffic area, but it's also tucked away in a sort of nook. If driving East on Oceanside Blvd, you'll make a Left to head north into the Del Oro Shopping Plaza that has the Albertsons. They just recently re-opened from renovations and it looks like they created a very beautiful "local" art mural on their walls, which depicts the Oceanside Pier and other fun anime characters. It's very colorful and playful! Definitely suits the vibes of the shop. Their interior is extremely simplified and only has a row of chairs to sit down & relax, while waiting for your fresh-pressed cane juice to be made. The service is fast & friendly. Prices are fair for being a small business in the area. I absolutely LOVE their selection of flavors to choose from! The range is diverse and some of my favorites are the mango, coconut and calamansi. They even have boba and jelly you can add! Don't be afraid to ask for a blend as well. Another service I appreciate is that you can order juice by the gallon. This is great for parties or gatherings. Overall, I really appreciate Local Canes and their fresh-pressed sugarcane juice. It's amazing great option to have in the inland Oceanside area.

I’m so happy we have a local sugarcane juice in Oceanside. The variety is so good, everytime I come here I always try a different flavor. But our fav is def calamansi; so good we even take a gallon home. Would love some tables here as they only have chairs. Would be a nice hangout spot since they have nice art on the walls.

This place is my new obsession! Absolutely one of the tastiest drinks I've ever had. They don't use anything artifical which i love and it truly makes the quality and taste that much better. Everyone that works here is super kind and I'm so appreciative of them all!

Honestly, this is the best sugarcane juice that I’ve ever had. The flavor of the drink is so fresh and delicious ❤️❤️❤️ The worker is so friendly and nice. Also, there are numerous mixes that you can get, too 🤤

I love Local Canes. The sugar cane drinks are sooo good. My favorites are matcha, calamansi, & watermelon! The acai bowl is really good and they have an Ube base option! I love that! I’m definitely coming back to try their Ube foam viet coffee next time. This is the place to get your sugar cane drinks!

I love Local Canes and am very satisfied with their flavor selection. They keep it simple, and allow for thr combination of flavors to bring a delightful sensory experience. The drinks are not too sweet, and if you want something more on the sweet and tangy side, I would recommend the passion fruit. My personal favorite is the mango Strawberry and they are so good that I'm more than halfway done with their rewards punch card after just visiting them last week!

My boyfriend and I drove an hour up here from down south because I was seriously craving sugarcane--and this place did not disappoint! It's hard to find fresh sugarcane drinks around us, so I was super excited when I came across Local Canes. The whole place is dedicated to sugarcane, and I loved that! They have so many creative combos like strawberry mango sugarcane, and you can even customize your own drink with tons of different flavors. Everything tasted super fresh and naturally sweet. The ambiance was clean, cute, and chill--perfect for grabbing a refreshing drink and hanging out for a bit. The staff was also really friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I was also so happy to see they sell 32oz and larger jars to take home. I thought I'd be making the long drive just for a quick sugarcane fix, but being able to leave with a big jar made the trip totally worth it! Amazing sugarcane juice! They import their sugarcanes from Vietnam and the sugarcanes are younger and thinner than what I've seen before. The resulting flavor is light, vibrant, and grassy almost, but in the best way. The owner was there and cranked out the sugarcane right in front of us! He was really welcoming. Sugarcane juice is perfect for when it gets super hot so I'll be back once summer is here for sure!

I visited Oceanside for a work trip and came over this place while heading back to airport. Local Canes is located in a very convenient spot in a high-traffic area. It's located in the Del Oro Shopping Plaza. It has a very spacious indoor and a very beautiful art mural on their walls. I went there on a Thursday evening around 5ish and it wasn't crowded at all. The service is fast & friendly.Prices are reasonable when compared to similar stores I absolutely LOVE their selection of flavors to choose from! The range is diverse and some of my favorites are the mango, coconut and calamansi. They even have boba and jelly you can add! Don't be afraid to ask for a blend as well. Overall, I loved Local Canes and their fresh-pressed sugarcane juice. Would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a fresh juice

Small sugarcane juice shop located in a big plaza. I like the drawings on the wall inside the shop. The service is excellent, someone is always there to answer your questions and help you. I do like their sugarcane juice and the kumquat is pretty good. The reason I gave 4 stars because I barely tasted any ginger taste in it, I know they did put ginger cuz it contains ginger pulp in the drink, but no ginger taste tho. I wish they had much stronger ginger taste like VitaCane uses in their drinks. But I will come back to try other flavors.

Good juice but very expensive, and very quick to up charge. The location is large but there is no seating, so there is a large shop but only a few seats around the walls of the room. Would be nice to put a few bistro tables around. I do feel like the price point is high for being in a not desirable location at the intersection of college and oceanside blvd, but they are priced for prime location close to the beach. If I need to keep my keys in my hand and rush to my car I feel like 7+ dollars for a drink is pretty high price tag and an upcharge to get light ice. Not my go to spot, but a nice treat occasionally.

It was my first time here and I was honestly pleasantly surprised. The inside was cute with lots of plants, though not much seating. Definitely a grab and go type of place. I tried the calamansi cane and I loved how the sweet and sour balanced each other out. They don't add any sugar, just the natural sweetness from the sugar cane juice. Best part was that our sugar cane was juiced fresh to order. Drinks came out quick and service was friendly.

The regular sugarcane juice was super refreshing!!! My cousin got a mix of strawberry & lychee and it was ehhhhh. U can barely taste the strawberry like just a hint. The place is super cute nice brightening wall art. The staff is super friendly. The only downside is inside it's super big but they don't have any tables if u want to chill or study. They do have a lot of chairs. Also no available bathroom

My daughter liked them. They can sometimes close, or not open, during their normal business hours which is disappointing but hopefully this was a temporary issue. Right next to the Giant NY Pizza place which has excellent pizza if you need something to go with your Local Canes drink!

Delicious bowl and at a reasonable price! I got a small and it was a little over $9.

I am obsessed with this place. My favorite is the OG came with coconut bits. It's so far away from me yet. I've been here twice just within the last week. You gotta try it no artificial anything.

Went here for the first time a few weeks ago and it did not disappoint. Received excellent recommendations on what is popular and how the drink would taste. Cute vibe. Definitely a must if you need your thirst quenched.

Love-love Local Canes! Their cane juices are so fresh and I especially love the coconut cane and often buy them the bigger bottles to enjoy for a few days. The owner is super friendly and helpful with questions about flavors and the store is cutely decorated. I definitely need to try their acai bowls and Vietnamese coffee next time!

The best Açaí Bowl that I've ever had in Oceanside It is very healthy and delicious They have various ice cream bases which are super good and not too sweet. There are also a lot of toppings and fruits that you can choose to build your bowl. Besides that, they also have Vietnamese coffee with cold foams and a plenty of different sugarcane juice flavors too. Now they have tables for customers to eat inside with a nice and cozy atmosphere. I really love their wall paintings !!! Highly recommend this place to everyone ‍

Great local sugarcane shop! I really like the sugarcane and calimesa drink. I recently tried the strawberry cane drink as well. It was very refreshing. Of note, if you ask for less ice there is a surcharge $1.50 but he fills the drink all the way to the top!

First time to visit, and definitely will not be the last. We got 3 different kinds, the og, watermelon and calamansi cane. All were so good! Definitely will try the other flavors, quick service, fair price too. Highly highly recommend! Its so refeshing and taste so good!

My wife and I was looking forward to try this all natural sugar cane juice and it did not disappoint! We tried the OG, Calamansi and watermelon sugar cane juice, it all tasted natural and delicious, we only waited under 5min for our order, the area was clean and organized, I can't wait to go back.

Was looking for a place that was not a boba place, and I ended up here! There are soooo many choices that I had a tough time choosing! I finally ended up choosing the Passion Cane. Sooo good and refreshing! No added sugar and it was perfect! I have to try all the other flavors! If you're in the area, definitely check this place out!

Their Vietnamese ice coffee is some of the best I've ever had, and the "acai bowl" with the ube base in stead o acai-BOMB!

A nice change to my boba addiction. I normally stay away from nuoc Mia or sugar cane drinks because I always find them too sweet! The original ones from Little Saigon in OC. But my friend told me about Thai place and their different flavors. I asked the worker for recommendation as I didn't want a too sweet drink. He suggested the kalamansi or the Pasion fruit. I decided to do the kalamansi because of the fruit is sour so it means the sugar cane will have some tart in it. I don't regret it! It was not too sweet and there was a good tart finish to it. Kind of like lemonade. I added aloe Vera and it was refreshing. Definitely come in and try it! Especially good on a hot day!

Stopped by to try the sugarcane juice. The juice tastes good and not watery coz we asked for less ice. But we were charged extra for asking for less ice which was kinda off putting for us. Won't be going back just because of this.

This place sure cane make a pretty sweet drink! PARKING: Located in a shopping plaza with a decent-sized lot. Parking is super easy. LOCATION: The interior is pretty basic, but clean. There's a few tables and chairs for you to sit indoors, but looks like most people order for on-the-go. They have a pretty diverse menu with tons of fruit mixture options. I didn't notice any food options served here - just straight up sugar cane and fruits. SERVICE: Service here is pretty great! I came here a few times and the employees are always welcoming, super friendly, and quick to make drinks DRINKS: Sugar cane drinks are one of my favorite guilty pleasures - and I'm happy to say that this place makes them absolutely delicious! The different fruit mixtures definitely would vary based on your personal favorites - but I absolutely love the Sugar Cane + Kalamansi mixture - it's super refreshing, sweet, and citrusy! CONCLUSION: If you are a fan of sugar cane drinks, this place makes it extremely well. The various different options of fruits definitely has me wanting to come back to try them all.

Discovered Local Canes at Foodieland and it did not disappoint. It was so refreshing and delicious that I went back for seconds. I got Calmansi the first time and watermelon the second time. I should have ordered the jug. Definitely recommend.

We went to Oceanside and my husband had been looking for a cane juice location for a while. This place was delicious and the juices were fresh made to order. I recommend.

My first time trying this out and it didn't disappoint! I went in looking for a green tea, but they don't carry those. They recommended a matcha and I'm very happy I tried it. This is a little hidden gem!

Browsing IG, I saw a sponsored ad for Local Canes with a picture of 4-5 beautiful ass cups of sugar cane juice. I thought, where the hell is this place? I clicked on the profile page and saw they were in Oceanside. Since when? I walked in there and there was one worker, working on an order. He apologized for the wait and took our drink order. I asked how long they'd been open and he said that they had been open for 9 months. 9 MONTHS?! I told him that I had no idea they were even there. They're still trying to get the word out. The menu is bright, vibrant, and easy to read. With pictures of the fruit options too. They also have a few options for your toppings like, boba, aloe, coconut, etc. We ordered: -Pineapple cane -Lychee Lemon with aloe The drinks are really good. Not overly sweet with no added sugar or syrups which we super appreciated. The inside is nice and clean and open. They are on the same strip that Rita's Custard used to be, maybe the same store? Not sure. Now that I know they're there, we will be in more often. Especially during the summer!

I drove by this cute little place and saw sugarcane and I love sugarcane. I tried the passion fruit and dragon fruit with lychee boba. So delicious a d not so sweet, very refreshing. My guest had mango and pineapple mix with coconut bits. He enjoyed his drink very well. We definitely coming back for more.

Finally tried this place after months of wanting to. This was the perfect place for us since we were looking for boba, but not wanting any caffeine. The employee working was super friendly, helpful, and kind. The juice was delicious and had fruit bits in it already (no extra charge) and then we added aloe jelly to one drink and the lychee boba to the other drink - soo good. My dragon fruit cane was super sweet, and my sister's passion fruit cane was super tart and sweet. We will be returning to try all of the flavors! My only wish is for seating so that you can relax while waiting for your drink!

I finally decided to check this place out after a little grocery trip and I'm so glad I did. The drinks are super refreshing and not too sweet which I love. They have a bunch of flavors to choose from but we got a Pineapple one and a Passionfruit/Dragonfruit drink, both with crystal boba, both delicious. The service was super friendly and the place itself was very vibrant and welcoming, definitely check this place out if you're looking for a nice cool drink!

So so so glad this spot is open in the north county area. Their drinks are delioussss and refreshing. I usually get the coco cane and it never fails to disappoint. The staff members are so welcoming and friendly. My family and I have tried the coco cane, OG cane, dragon cane, mango/strawberry cane & passion lychee. All were refreshing and on point. My new go to spot!

Really loved their mango cane, it wasn't busy at all and waited a few minutes for drinks to be made. Wish they're were tables and chairs to sit but other than that the worker had a great attitude and I can't wait to try more menu items.

Come in with the intent to try out this new juicery and opted for a Walter Malone and Mango Cane to go. I appreciate how the kind gentleman heat sealed the 24oz drinks thus no worries in spillage. 5 stars for that! The juice is fresh and made to order maing this a must if you prefer fresh over premade bottles. I can definitely see this as a delicious summer hit amongst the summer crowds in search for a drink to cool them down. I didn't catch the hours but obviously did not the prices which are as follows: All drink w/ice are 24oz for $6.50. If you want "lite ice" you'll pay $1.00 extra and if you want "no ice" then it's $2.00 extra. I say that fair given lite to no ice would mean product used to make the drinks. I left my orders alone ans even then there was no need to reduce the ice. Clean facility, humble attendant, and delicious juice. I'll be back for sure.

There isn't much variety in terms of drink spots in Oceanside/Carlsbad which is why I am so glad that we have a sugarcane spot. Everything is made FRESH in house! The sugarcane is juiced right in front of you. All the different flavors offered use real fruits or fruit purée made the morning of. No artificial syrups like you find at other Boba spots in the area. I met the owner, John, who was extremely patient and kind. He suggested the Mango and Strawberry Cane, which was refreshing and tasty. You could really taste the fresh mango purée and pieces of strawberry. Overall, John gave great customer service and it is very apparent that he cares about the quality of the product he is offering to the community. Highly recommend supporting this small business that offers a speciality that is rarely found in this area!!!

First had their drinks at FoodieLand and fell in love with their drinks! I had no idea they had an actual store until I was randomly in the area looking for drinks. I always assumed I would have to make a trip up to OC for some good sugarcane. Had the Lychee Cane and it was just as delicious as I remembered it. If you're looking for something super refreshing and delicious, definitely can't go wrong here! P.S. Would love to see more locations down South!

So glad that this spot is open. These drinks are so refreshing, love the flavors. I also love that there are many different varieties. So far I have tried the mango strawberry, strawberry lemon, pineapple mango, dragon, lemon, and the original. Can't wait to try the other different varieties given. The staff members are so welcoming and also have met John and he was very welcoming and nice. The first time I met him was during my lunch. Didn't know which one to get and asked him what was the most popular that people would get and decided to go with the mango strawberry. That was so good. Great choice!

I've only been here a couple of times. Each time is very nice. The drinks are big, refreshing, and VERY sweet! The employees are very nice and welcoming! They share about the different drinks and how they are made. I want to try the lemon one next time to see if it cuts some of the sweetness! Like most drinks I get, I like to dilute them with water. Makes it last longer and not as sweet!

This place deserves so much more attention then what it gets. They are way nice and so yummy and good for you, I just can't afford it so much right now or I would be there every single day. I don't do stickers on my vehicles but I have a Local Came sticker on the side of my Jeep right under the Jeep Logo. That is saying a lot!! Service is always amazing and ambiance very inviting. I just happened by this place while trying to pass the time before a dinner reservation and OMG, this place is AMAZING! It's in an unassuming location, simple and chill decor, but holy cow, the drinks are incredibly refreshing and delicious. Love this place! Definitely will be swinging by here whenever I venture in Oceanside.
