I have frequented the location in Rice Village, but this is the first time I’d ever visited this location in the heights. I will say I was actually very much impressed with not only the space inside, but also the overall vibe. The interior (and exterior) are immaculate, well lit, and the decor/design is very appealing to the eye
This spot was busy when we visited, but there was practically no wait. You walk up to the register and place the order. The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, and efficient
There were plenty of seating, and we didn’t have to wait long for our meal. If you’re in the mood, consider swinging by the fully stocked bar to grab a drink as you wait or as a nightcap
The menu offers a variety of delicious foods, but I’d be lying if I said I was ever going to order anything other than the crunchy chicken sandwich. This is one of my favorite sandwiches. It’s hearty, fresh, the textures/crunch work well together, and it’s very flavorful. There’s a variety of sides to choose from, and I would recommend the red potato salad as my favorite
There isn’t a lot of parking, and the shred lots get full quickly, but you can always find street parking nearby if you don’t mind a short walk
Some tips:
If there’s a line and you’re unsure what to get, grab a menu at the station behind the line (situated as you walk in), so you don’t feel rushed
I will say it again, the crunchy chicken sandwich is one of the best if not the best chicken sandwich in Houston. Please try it
Cheers!!
