This was the perfect lunch stop on our way back from a hike. Multiple options, so everyone can enjoy something. While you can eat inside and two outside tables, this isn’t a restaurant for ambience; more grab and go. Food was great and sizable portions. The staff was super sweet and brought us our tray of food. We got the Vietnamese egg rolls and the chicken adobada rice plate which were both fantastic. Will definitely be back to try something new!

My picture does not do it justice, all this food was incredible! The spicy chicken sandwich was divine and also really nicely spicy, and I inhaled that. Fries and cauliflower both perfectly cooked and tasty!

Incredible food quality and flavor across the board. So many options from different chefs and everything even down to the sauces have been great. The manager Carlos is very accommodating and has made me and my team feel welcome every day that we walk in.

I thought this was a cool concept! I liked it more than other "foodhalls" I've tried in the Bay Area. Location is interesting, right on the corner so it's best to park in the small lot behind. I went on a Friday at 6pm and the lot was super full, but with people getting takeout. So if you want to eat inside, no problem! I tried Proposition Chicken, the burger was super juicy and honestly good size for the price. My friend had one of the SOB Burgers which he also enjoyed, but said could've been a bit bigger. You'd have to try all the offerings to get an accurate sense but my ratings are based on the experience I had. Will definitely be back to try more!

It was very interesting place. They serve food from multi brands. ( i found out after i got there after 20mi driving ) In general, the food was ok ( decent). I loved the fries the most. It was so fresh and crunchy. ( i love good fries ) I also ordered the chicken salad bowl. I expected worm chicken, but it was cold. Maybe it is how it is served. Ah. I liked the sauce having little texture. ( i will order the chicken burger if i visit there again ) And I ordered the cauliflower fries. I liked them too. Little interesting, but overall it was ok with the given sauce. And, i ordered the boba tee as well. I understand the business idea. And, the overall food quality was ok as well although they handled the several brands. I might not go there again.

I come here at least 4times a week since my job is 3 min away. If I crave something different they usually have it. The staff and food have never been disappointed me.

Food court with a multitude of flavors. I typically order take out, and I love the SOB ( sweet onion burger), and my kids love their chicken salad. Carne Asada tacos are great, too, but a little pricey. Overall, great place to get something quick and tasty!!

Beautifully crafted food with exceptionally friendly service, well managed app with wait times make this place a must try ! Lots of parking on back, a rotating chef featured menu, nice ambience for kids and family. Five stars from me!! I could see repeat customers as I ordered and waited, would try in advance ordering if in rush.

I've been to a couple of Local Kitchens and I like this location the most. Had the Pork Belly Broken Rice plate from Chef Tue's, the SOB burger from Chef Alvin's, the elote, chips and bean dip. They were all good especially the Pork Belly rice plate. Pork Belly Broken Rice plate was so good. The meat had good fat meat ratio. The flavor was sweet and soy sauce and maybe garlic. Rice tasted like garlic rice. The SOB burger had good quality meat patty. Thick juicy meat with I think was string soft caramelized onion, all in between brioche bun. The Elote, street corn, was good too. Dry cheese crumbled sprinkled on top with seasoning powder. Friendly, nice, professional staff. Very accommodating and didn't make me feel like I was bothering them. Clean dining area. Food came out quickly. Good variety of type of cuisine with the uniquely flavored burgers, delicious Vietnamese rice plates, Mexican street food, Mediterranean options, crunchy fried chicken, deep dish pizza and boba. Seems reasonably priced. Street parking or the parking lot behind the restaurant. Clean gender neutral restrooms.

I only ever get one thing here but I keep getting it because it's good. The hummus and chicken bowl. 5/5 IMO there's too much hummus, my husband says I'm crazy because wits good for leftovers. However , the chicken is perfectly spiced, the hummus is smooth not gritty, the carrots ... omg! I love the carrots! Even the cabbage is good! And the green sauce.... It's a dinner and a lunch! Great portion size. On the side I got green falafel with lemon tahini. Love the tahini! The falafel itself is cooked perfectly. It's one of the only places that doesn't hurt my stomach. Good place to get good food when you don't want to go sit in a restaurant.

This was my first time ever at any of the local kitchen pop-ups. I actually thought it was almost like a DoorDash set up where they would come and drop off the food within 15 minutes or something? Lol as I walked in, I was completely surprised when I saw a full grill, touchscreen, menus, and people Behind the counter!! A lady asked if I wanted to order with her or I could look at the menu online. We checked out the menu online and apparently each of the local restaurants is allowed to make particular items from another restaurant. I got the Boba guys Jasmine green tea Fresca . It was really good and I drink it so fast. I actually forgot to take a picture! Everything was really fresh and clean and if you walk down the street a little ways, there's a cute little trail that wraps around blackberry farm! Perfect little outing and easy walk for me to do. Lol.

I really enjoyed the green falafel rice plate from Chef Einat's menu! Everything in the plate was really flavorful on its own and also tasted great when mixed together. I particularly really liked the rice and sumac red onion. The menu is labeled for vegetarian but not vegan options, however I emailed guest services to ask and got a very quick response saying pretty much all non-meat ingredients are vegan, except for the amba aioli and black garlic aioli since they contain egg. Falafel rice plate is vegan by default, for other menu items you can just remove aioli sauces. Pretty good portion size. Would recommend!

It is always so hard to decide on what to eat when you are at a food hall! I do not typically order vegetarian options, but the vegetable rice bowl from Chef Rick's was calling my name! There was so much flavor in every bite! My favorite parts were the grilled thick pieces of portobello mushroom, the beans seasoned perfectly and rice super fragrant! Priced at $14 this was definitelt worth it in comparison to the basic salad with fried chicken bits from the other menu. The staff here were all SO FRIENDLY and THOUGHTFUL! We reallt enjoyed dining in for a quick bite. Fun to see all the recipe books from the different chefs! Loved the vibe!

- seamless ordering system on a tablet - lots of options from burgers, pizza, to sushirritos - small location but most of it is seating sumo crunch (7.5/10) - wish the outer layer was crunchier but overall good flavor and very filled with ingredients mush-o-roni (8/10) - yummy! got a little hint of the hot honey which balanced the saltiness well

This place has it all! Diverse variety of cuisines all in one spot. It was my first time trying the Oklahoma sweet onion burger (SOB) and it did not disappoint. It was a party in my mouth. Truffle-ly goodness. The truffle SOB features certified angus beef smashed in with thinly sliced onions drizzled with truffle aioli, topped with creamy havarti cheese. each bite was so rich & savory. I'm drooling just thinking about it. I also tried the Big Von from Square Pie Guys. Wow the pizza was perfection. Lots of cheese and curly pepperoni with crispy edges. If you're feeling Mediterranean food, get the Amba chicken pita, which is loaded with toppings. Lots of flavor. They even have Boba Guys drinks. I liked the Thai iced tea the best! I need to go back to try Tue Nguyen's Vietnamese dishes like the Com Tam (broken rice plate). Local Kitchen even has a sweet promo code "LOCALKITCHENS10" for $10 off orders of $30 or more. I can't wait to go back!

They always do a great job preparing meals. The restaurant is always clean, and the staff are on top of everything. It's very easy to communicate with them, and the prices are reasonable.

We love getting takeout from this place. If you're in the mood for a late night burger or a last minute meal, definitely order from here. We love their bacon cheeseburger and their chicken sandwich. Pair it with a side of truffle fries and it's a great meal! I love that they offer other choices too that cater to a variety of different meal preferences. Whenever we order takeout, the process ordering online is quick, the service is great and picking it up at the place is super convenient. Ambiance had a nice feel to it - small and quaint!

Inside is a little small but we were able to fit a larger group as they have two longer tables. Service was great and they offered us a free pizza since they were training on it. Food was tasty albiet standard for ghost kitchens. I got salad with fried chicken and enjoyed it much more than say starbird chicken salad. My friends seemed to enjoy the pitas too. There is something for everyone! We enjoyed our free pizza so much that I would consider getting that next time. The edges were crispy but soft on the inside and the sauce was NYC good. Definitely would come back but wouldn't go out of my way to come.

Local Kitchens is a great establishment (and hidden gem) in Cupertino near the Blackberry Farm area. There is decent parking behind the restaurant as I never see it fill up. You can order through one of the kiosks inside or online (through their website). While you can only order to-go, there are some tables where you can sit down and eat. First off, let me explain more on what Local Kitchens exactly is. I would best describe this establishment as multiple restaurants that use the same kitchen and staff. This place will be able to make boba drinks (Boba Guys), sushi burritos (Sushirrito), and smashburgers (Sweet Onion Burger). It is like the ultimate ghost kitchen. Despite the huge menu and variety of food, I always had a good food experience every time I came here. I especially like the sweet onion smash burger with its strong onion taste and juicy patty. The staff is very nice and always updated me on the status of my order. The biggest downsides of the place is that the food isn't cheap and that this place doesn't give you the feel of a restarant. If you're unsure of what you want to eat for lunch/dinner but want to drive to a place so you don't waste time, come to the local kitchen.

Let me start by acknowledging how nice and organized the staff is at this place. All their salads are awesome and delicious, they also have a variety of other things in their menu that I also suggest to give a try - the chicken sandwiches are great. I like this place because the service is fast, the food is point and the price is great! 10/10

What's not to love about LK?! When the family can't agree, this is the place to be. Lots of options. Plenty of tasty things to choose from. Simple and convenient. Can run a bit pricey, but how's that different from eating out anywhere these days? We've met the proprietor / manager a few times and they are incredibly open to feedback and suggestions. Just very nice folks. This place is serving a nice need in this underserved area for quick food options.

Great service at this location specifically! The employee at the counter was extremely friendly and welcoming to every customer that walked in, gave his recommendations on best dishes and "stores", and gave overall a warm and personable impression to these "ghost kitchens". Both times I came for Sushirrito, and first got the Latin Ninja. It was much better here than the Sushirrito from the San Jose Local Kitchens location- no ingredient was omitted and no substitutions were made. It also comes with soy sauce and choice of wasabi or aioli sauce which adds so much flavor! The only issues I noticed compared to a dedicated Sushirrito spot was that the nori seaweed wrap didn't go all the way around causing the Sushirrito to fall apart more easily, and when I got the Latin Ninja the crunchy ingredients inside had already gone soft. Came again today for a to go order, and the Geisha Kiss was delicious! Can't speak to crunchiness as I didn't eat it right away. The to go package is secure and travel friendly with a larger paper bag to hold everything in, although the ambiance in the location was nicer with aesthetic decorations and was very clean with indoor and outdoor seating. While not as good as a dedicated Sushirrito location, this is a great and fun option for those looking to try multiple styles of food in one place (fried chicken, boba, grilled cheese, and more), food court style.

Ordered the falafels and the chicken pita wrap from the Mediterranean place! The pita wrap was very flavorful and yummy. I will say that they can improve on the distribution of the ingredients in the wrap though. The top was all chicken and the bottom was the pickled veggies, so when you are eating you are eating the ingredients separately mostly. Falafels were nice and crispy but a bit too salty. I put the falafels in my wrap though and it was perfect. Despite some minor issues I was overall super happy with my food. Ordering was quick and easy and service was very nice :))

So convenient! There is plenty of parking in the back and several tables inside and outside. Ordered via the kiosk: Cheeseburger and fries from the melt: daughter gobbled it up and said it was very good. Fries were ok. Mushroom deep dish Detroit pizza from Square pie guy: 5/5 excellent flavor and yummy deep dish crust. Ninja from sushiritto: 4/5 good but could use more chips. Wasabi mayo gives it more flavor. Chicken sandwich from proposition chicken: hubby said this was ok taste wise and it was very messy to eat. Broke apart halfway through. Friends enjoyed their falafel salad from Friendly service. Looking forward to coming back and checking out other local kitchens.

After picking up my order, and returning to the office. I noticed there was an issue with my order. I returned to the restaurant and spoke with Pat. He was very attentive and listened to my concerns. He made it right without making me feel a certain kind of way. A business that puts their customers first, Employees that are kind and professional... Will always have my business. This is a long overdue review of Local Kitchens, one of our favorite takeout places in our zip code! We've been coming here ever since they opened several years ago, and their quality is fairly consistent. What is Local Kitchens? The best way to describe them is a food court that brings many restaurants under one roof! At the time of this writing, they feature offerings from: Flavor Trippin (sandwiches and burgers), Proposition Chicken (fried and roasted chicken), Nopalito Taqueria (Mexican), Sajj (Mediterranean), Square Pie Guys (pizza), Sushirrito (sushi burritos), and drink/dessert offerings including Boba Guys (boba tea drinks), Milk Bar (sweet treats) and Humphry Slocombe (ice cream). It's the perfect solution if you have diners with varied tastes, or picky kids! All of their offerings are made fresh to order. Most of their business is takeout/delivery, although they do have some tables inside if you prefer to eat in. They have a varied menu that changes often, so the menu items stay freshly updated - but I've also learned not to get too attached to an offering because it could go away! (RIP Nash & Proper and Asian Box - two of our favorites!) Ordering is easy. You can order from their website, or on their app, or on one of their handy kiosks in the store. They have a rewards program for frequent customers, and also have email offers fairly often, so pay attention to those! Once you order, you get a text to check the status of your order, and when you arrive in store, there's a display screen that shows where your order is in process (i.e. order received, order cooking, order ready for pickup). Service is mostly good. They're usually friendly, but are also busy and hopping in the open kitchen. I appreciate that if there's ever an issue, they are receptive to feedback and do what they can to make it right. Tonight we ordered: Herby Goddess Fried Chicken Salad from Proposition Chicken ($13.95), two Classic Smash Burgers from Flavor Trippin ($10.95 each), and Woozy Fries ($9.95, but free tonight with a National FRY-DAY promotion for spending over $25!). The salad was yummy and one of my usuals, and the burgers that my husband and kid ordered were freshly prepared and satisfying. The loaded fries were tasty! We were happy with our orders tonight. Small points taken off for not packing utensils or napkins which I requested on the app. Also the order took a little longer than I expected but was still within the estimated order-ready timeframe. It did seem odd that even though I appeared to be next on the screen to get my order, other orders popped up as Ready before mine. But it could be they had smaller or easier-to-prepare orders. My husband and I regularly order from here (usually takeout). I've also ordered catering for my workplace from here, and eaten in with friends. It does not disappoint! Note that this concept seems successful as they now have locations in many cities in the bay area. Give Local Kitchens a try, you won't be sorry!

Chill atmosphere. Service was on the quick side with lots of staff serving food quickly. Has lots of variety to choose from. Would come again.

IMO. This place has Mid portions, high prices, Ok flavors. Can get a better chicken sandwich at Popeyes and a better rice plate at Chicken meets rice.

Ordered via DoorDash. This sandwich was actually really good and filling. It was above my expectation for what I thought it was going to be.

Best Burgers I have ever had the service is great and I definitely recommend you get the Alvin's burger top tier!!!!!

Came here on a Friday night to catch up with a friend! There's ample seating and was empty when we arrived but got crowded later. I got the strawberry matcha from boba guys and the fried cauliflower. Both were great and we enjoyed that there was a variety of options. Parking is easy with the lot in the back or street parking on the sides.

It's been awhile and this time I'm trying their new brand Sushirito. Honestly I struggled a bit to order something healthy for dinner with more fiber and protein and less or no carb. In the end, I settled on the Salmon Poke Hand Roll. It's 2 for $9, seems like a good deal. The service time was also quick. I got a text to notify me of receiving the order, and in less than 5 minutes I got another text that my order was ready for pick up. Talking about speed! The staff was also very friendly when I entered the store. He greeted me cheerfully and handed me the bag with a nice smile. When I got it, I was a bit surprised that it came in a small box. Inside, there were two finger length rolls wrapped with paper. It's not the Japanese style with plastic wrapping. When I unrolled the wrapping paper, it was a bit oily to find the roll and the seaweed is soft, not the crunchy style. However, the taste was spectacular! (I asked to skip the pickle cucumber). I was pleasantly surprised of the taste. So all in all, I felt that I had a good meal experience with Local Kitchen. You also get to collect points and use them to redeem rewards. However, I was never able to redeem my points.

Found a very sharp metal thing in my food. Dirty gross spiky and not safe at all. Very disappointed.

I had Sushirrito at Local Kitchens! I loved the customizability of your sushi burrito. You can uncheck any ingredients, which is extremely accommodating for people with health conditions, allergies, and intolerances. I liked the portion size, too. It was extremely generous and was able to split it between two meals. I think maybe this fusion dish is not for me - there were a lot of textures and flavors going on in my sushi burrito - crunchy chips and lettuce contrasted greatly to fluffy, soft rice, and fatty fish, and sweet pickled vegetables against the salty chips and the sesame. Nevertheless, I did enjoy parts of it and I can see why others would like this dish. It is probably great for people who enjoy adventurous flavors and fun foods. There are plenty of options to choose from and many different ways to modify your sushi burrito.

Updating my review after giving these folks another try. My experience this time was much better. Placed a pickup order online, and was notified my order was ready in about 15-20 minutes. This time I decided to try SAJJ's Chicken Shawarma BYO (Build your own). Available as a rice bowl, wrap or salad. Got mine as a salad with extra chicken, and customized from a wide range of ingredients including mixed greens, eggplant, cauliflower, hummus, tzatziki, etc. I enjoyed it. Good portion and great flavor. Easy pickup. Lots of parking in front, on side street and in parking lot behind the location. Glad that they have ironed out their earlier opening glitches. Well certainly consider them again for pickup or delivery when we are looking for a variety of cuisines in one convenient stop.

Local Kitchens is a micro food hall kitchen with 10 locations in California. There is street parking out front, as well as a parking lot in the back. There are 10 popular restaurants inside this location that offers a smaller menu of desserts, drinks, and food options from the menus of the original restaurants. The service was good - there was an employee, who may be the manager or owner who answered all of the questions I had regarding their menu, and another employee worked on my drinks and got my 7 drinks out fairly quick. I came here specifically to try out the new Boba Guys - they are only available at this location (Cupertino) and their Mill Valley location. I was debating if I wanted food as well as boba from here, but I was not too hungry at the time, so I decided to just get drinks. Some of the food did look and sound so good though, such as the Crab Hand Roll, Latin Ninja Sushi Burrito, and Salmon Poke Hand Roll from Sushirrito; the Half Roasted Chicken from Proposition Chicken; the Melty Mac from The Melt; and the Quesabirria Dipping Taco from Nopalito Taqueria. Overall, I had only been to a couple of their locations around the Bay Area, but I enjoyed this one the best.

We discovered this place by accident, as the restaurant we were looking for was no longer there. However, Charlie, the manager at Local Kitchens, was so friendly and welcoming we thought we'd give this place a try. Local Kitchens offers foods from 12 different restaurants. You simply walk in, place your order at the kiosk or on the app, and your food is made ready to go, or you can dine in. We ordered lumpia, Nash hot chicken, grilled cheese sandwich, and tomato basil soup. The soup could have been warmer, but everything else was fresh and tasty. I would come back to try some of the other restaurants' foods. Best of all, they're open late (until midnight)! Keep checking back, as they do rotate restaurants on occasion.

We were so excited to see that we could get Square Pie Guys in South Bay! Online ordering was really easy, we got 4 pizzas (The Big Von, How Mush-Room (x2), and Mush-o-Roni), and they were pretty accurate with their time estimate on when the food would be ready. Very interested in how this restaurant model works, and I'd love to try other items they offer. Hope to be back soon!

Such a great food spot. It was relatively quiet and calm, even during lunch. Our orders were ready pretty fast and we loved that there are so many options to choose from

We came here after the reopening and it was okay. I got the cauliflower burrito and the latin ninja sushirrito burrito. The wait time was very long, at around 45 minutes even though there weren't many people waiting, so we ended up leaving and coming back. The cauliflower burrito was good, however, the sushirrito burrito was way too salty. It shouldn't have been that salty in my opinion, so we ended up throwing away the rest. Overall, I'd return for the cauliflower burrito but would be mindful of how salty the sushi burritos are here.

So many choices to pick from, and everything I've tried has been good. They rotate out the restaurants/brands they work with ever so often, so there's always variety and a fresh menu to choose from. Service is quick and very friendly. You can use their app to order online or use the kiosks when you get there. Plenty of seating available inside and out, and they provide a self serve water, utensils, and condiments area. I always stop by here when I'm in a hurry cause they're just so efficient. My personal favorite are the burgers, no matter the brand, they're always huge and perfectly done.

Very little choice if you are a vegetarian. We wanted to order regularly but there just isnt much there for us. Out of all the offerings if you are a vegetarian you are limited to either the cauliflower burrito/bowl or the falafel. So like 2/50 entrees aren't meat oriented.

Local Kitchens is like a ghost kitchen food hall -- where you can order items from different restaurants that are available here, and mix & match without having to go to multiple locations. Looks like they add restaurants every once in a while, as I've seen a few additional options than before when I reviewed their menu. There are kiosks inside to order in person, or you can also order online and just walk in to pick up when it's ready. They have tracking on each order, so they text you when your order is ready and show you where in the prep process it is (like doordash/uber eats). My order was ready very quickly (less than 15 minutes), but finding parking around this location was the biggest struggle. There isn't much parking nearby and the lot behind it is super small. I don't believe they offer curbside pickup, so you do have to park somewhere and walk over to pick up the order. I was in and out within a minute, and the staff member manning the front counter was very friendly. I ordered a pasta from Fiorella, which was very tasty but felt a bit pricey at $22 for the portion size, and some cheddar bacon fries from The Melt for $5, which was exactly what it sounds like. Overall, it's a cool concept and makes it super convenient to mix and match things from different restaurants. It is primarily a to-go place as there isn't much room to sit there and eat, plus everything is packaged for to-go anyways.

Local Kitchens @ Cupertino is currently offering an amazing "pop-up" menu called Nash & Proper hot chicken sandwiches. I don't usually eat chicken sandwiches, but I wanted to try Nash & Proper. I like fried chicken, and OMG....praise the Gods of Fried Foods! The Sammich is a great chicken sandwich! It's juicy thigh meat dipped in a spicy seasoning with slaw, sauce and pickles. I got it fresh from the kitchen, and it was crunchy, crispy and juicy. I asked for medium heat, and it made my lips tingle. Just a taste of what it's like to jack up the heat! I also added a side of crinkle fries. They were perfect! I'm an old school fast food shift mgr, and I know quality fries. Crisp on the outside, that very slight hard fried shell, then moist interior. THAT IS A PERFECT FRENCH FRY! The holding time is very short, maybe 7-10 mins, so eat and enjoy! I always pickup my own food at Local Kitchens, so my food is hot and fresh!

I got to try the bacon cheeseburger lumpia from The Lumpia Company, and samosas from Curry Up Now, and was overall happy with my experience. The bacon cheeseburger lumpia were perfectly crisp on the outside and had a just right the amount of "cheeseburger" flavor without losing its identity as lumpia. Didn't taste much bacon, but it was still good. And I had to try it with the nacho cheese sauce, because I don't know what other kind of lumpia would ever be dipped in this.. it was fine, maybe not the best combination, but if you like nacho cheese, it works. It actually tasted like the kind of nacho cheese you get at Taco Bell. I also tried the bbq sauce and it was pretty good, sweet but not too sweet. The samosas were filled with perfectly cooked curried potatoes, a great combination of spices... yes, it was a bit spicy for me, but so delicious especially wrapped in a crispy and delicious pastry shell. It was served with cilantro mint and tamarind chutneys on the side, which unlike the filling were not spicy sauces and actually quite good, though there was no need for sauces as the samosas tasted great on their own. The service was quick and convenient. It took just 10 minutes for my food to be ready after ordering online on a Wednesday night, and the lady at the front counter was friendly and efficient. I got my order to go, but as of August 2022, they do have dine-in seating at the location, both indoor and outdoor tables. There is limited street parking right out front and around the corner as well. I like the idea of food courts, though the fact that Local Kitchens changes a lot of their eateries regularly doesn't really appeal to me because I can't depend on them to have what I want the next time I visit. But I understand how some people favor this type of concept, as it provides the opportunity to change it up and try something new.

Local Kitchens is like a food hall -- but without the actual storefronts and needing to wait in multiple lines. They take popular eateries like Señor Sisig, Sushirrito, Curry Up Now, and Dumpling Time and mash it all together into one convenient place. All you have to do is decide what you want to eat! ... which I guess is easier said than done when you have so many delicious options. You order all of your food from a kiosk. You can scroll through the different restaurants and see their offerings. Drinks are pre-made and grab and go, but the dishes are made on site. If you have questions, the staff here are super helpful and friendly! We opted for Señor Sisig and The Melt. The Señor Sisig burrito is always a hit, loaded up with tasty sisig, rice, and veggies. Don't forget to add the egg! I would skip the ube horchata, though. Maybe it's because it was premade but it just tasted like watered down sugar with a hint of horchata. Didn't taste the ube at all despite the deep purple color. Not much seating if you're planning on dining in. There are a couple of tables inside and outside if you want to hang around, but it seems like this is more of a to-go place.

Visited multiple times, and the employees are always great! There's some seating indoors and outdoors, and can get busy at times. The burgers are tasty, but I wouldn't recommend getting their boba. The drinks themselves are good, but the boba is consistently hard and unpleasant. During my most recent visit, I ended up waiting over an hour for my order. After waiting for ~20 minutes, I hesitantly asked about my order's progress, and the woman behind the counter reassured me, saying it'd be out soon. This happened three times, and we kept apologizing to one another. Eventually when I got my order, a man who I'm assuming was the manager/owner insisted that I get a cookie or boba drink as compensation.

Great concept. Tasty food too! Unfortunately I believe the portions are too small for the price. Could easily improve to an excellent spot if the portions didn't feel like tapas

Local Kitchens is a singular location with offerings from a bunch of smaller businesses. Most of the customers order online for pickup, but they do have two tables inside if you wanted to eat there. I would highly recommend this place for those nights where you just can't decide where y'all want to eat because there is definitely something here for everyone. Nash & Proper's Sammich (5/5): This was the BEST fried chicken sandwich I've ever had in my life. The chicken is huge and unbelievably moist to the point that it starts dripping the minute you bite into it. The meat itself is flavorful all the way throughout and has the perfect spicy, crunchy shell on the outside. This is a must get. Señor Sisig's Tosilog Burrito (3.5/5): Perhaps because I had this with the Sammich, but it felt a bit under seasoned. I wish the garlic rice had more of that garlic flavor and there were more tomatoes because the eating experience was a bit dry. I liked the flavors that were there; I just wanted more of it.

I searched for Nash & Proper and couldn't find it from Yelp. From the Local Kitechens App, we ordered the 1/4 chicken, Falafel, and Fries. That's the neat thing about Local Kitchens, the convenience to order things from different "restaurants" at the same time, under the same payment. The chicken was wonderful! Juicy meat, spicy and crispy crust. Two pieces of them rested on two plain toast that soaked up the spicy juice. That's was interesting. Then 6 falafel balls and hummus from Sajj. That's a good deal and the balls was aromatic and tasty. The "crinkle fries" was good too.

Today we came home from a camping trip, and I talked everyone in to ordering from Local Kitchens. Mostly because I was craving more lumpia. I was surprised to see Lumpia Company added to the possible restaurants to order from. We got food from almost every place. Everything was fine. It wasn't amazing. It looked better than it tasted. The burritos from Senor Sissig were missing the spice (Hella, Hella Spicy and Spicy)...and eggs. The winner was probably the burger from The Melt. And...while no one complained about their food, no one raves about it either. The Cheeseburger lumpia felt like they were merely ground beef...no cheese, or cheeseburger like flavor to enjoy. I'd skip this location, and just go to the original spot in Oakland I've frequented. It's much tastier, and generally quite a bit more exciting. I hate to say it: this is not the stuff that foodie fantasies are made of.

This is a great idea. While it doesn't have the full menu of all those places, it has a good selection for each. Esme provided us with great service and we want to come back to try more things

What a great idea to partner with different restaurants and combine them into one kitchen! It's perfect for those indecisive moments when choosing a spot to eat. I ordered the Garden Box from Asian Box and it was perfect + I got to grab a yummy mango drink by Sushirrito. Plus the staff was friendly and our order was ready quickly. Very cool.

The food has always been great and ready fast. There's a variety of items you can choose from and each one is crafted beautifully.
