"Local is the rare Jackson spot with white linen napkins instead of paper ones. It’s one of the fancier spots in town, filled with paintings on the wall by local artists and dishes made up of ingredients grown as close to the restaurant as possible. Even in a town dedicated to its meat, the burger here stands out. They use a blend of ribeye, New York strip, and filet mignon, grill it so it’s got a nice char, and serve it on a perfectly toasted brioche bun with a few slathers of tangy homemade mayonnaise. It’s also a great move if you want to stop by just to sit at the U-shaped bar and order some fries made from Idaho potatoes. Check out Million Dollar Cowboy Bar next door, where you can listen to a live country band while sitting on undeniably fun saddle barstools." - Lanie Brice

We ate here twice during our trip to Jackson, once for lunch and once for dinner. For lunch, we sat at the bar and had a truly exceptional experience. The bartender made us “surprise” drinks based on our feedback and made great suggestions. He was super personable and we really enjoyed dining with him. The bone marrow was the best I’ve had in years. Great flavor and truly decadent. The oysters were flavorful and fresh. Even the truffle fries were absolutely delicious. For dinner a few nights later, I tried the elk t-bone and my husband had the monkfish special. Both entrees were delicious and executed nicely. It is a little noisy in there on a Friday night, so if you’re looking for a quiet dinner, this may not be your place. We’ll certainly visit again next time we’re in Jackson.

Google
Best meal we had in Jackson. Rachel was our server, she was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I had the buffalo wellington and my husband had Elk t-bone. We shared potatoes au gratin and truffle mac n cheese. Everything was absolutely excellent. Definitely make a reservation, they fill up fast!

Google
We had a great meal here and really enjoyed the food! The bone marrow and tartare were fabulous starters. I will say that our entrees (NY strip, ribeye and Wellington) were slightly overcooked, and the mac and cheese was a bit dry which is why I gave it 4 stars. Next time I will order my steaks a temp below my typical preference. The service was great, but the bar was a bit backed up. We were not in a rush so it didn’t impact our night. Overall would visit again!

Google
We picked Local for a special date night toward the end of our trip, looking for a place with a more refined atmosphere—and it delivered! We had a reservation, and the restaurant filled up quickly. Our server was polite, knowledgeable about the menu, and provided helpful recommendations. The drinks were refreshing, and the Buffalo Tartare was some of the best I've ever had. Our entrées arrived promptly and were delicious. While our two-person table was a bit small, it didn't take away from the overall experience. The prices were very reasonable for the quality, and we didn’t feel like we were paying “The Jackson Tax.” A great choice for a nicer meal.

Google
Hands down the best Happy Hour in Jackson Hole! The atmosphere is cozy, service is excellent and food is top notch. On my final visit here before heading home, I had the lettuce wraps. They were excellent.

Hannah Fu

Google
We got the trout salad and Buffalo burger, the trout and the buffalo patty were smoky in a perfect way, salad was fresh and has beetroots!!! Love it! Our waiter also recommended a local beer called Jenny Lake, goes really well with everything. We’d come back again

Google
Happy Hour drinks (3p - 6p) 1/2 off. They make excellent drinks. Our server, Miles provided perfect service, and made superb menu suggestions. French onion soup for appetizer: is the best we've had in a very long time, if not the best. Philly cheese steak with jalapeños and steak burger with bleu cheese and Ceasars salad. Very good. Loved it here. The music played was for people of all ages.

Google
Service was great. Plate options are wide ranging Tomahawk steak was cooked to perfection couldn’t have grilled it better myself. Brussels were delicious. Drinks and beer selection was excellent. Their special dessert of the huckleberry cheesecake was out of this world. Buttery fluffy rich cheesecake hands down was the absolute best cheesecake I have ever eaten.

Yelp
Friday Night 0730pm, wait time for 7 ppl was 8 minutes Hanz was our server - great guy that accommodated our group well from the beginning to end Drinks we Ordered and enjoyed: Margarita, Candy Store, Martini and a few shots. Dinner: Handcrafted Charcuterie, Oyster shots, Bread & Butter, Ribeye w/potatoes and Elk Chop. Everyone enjoyed their dinner and will come back again! 20% Gratuity included, you can add more if you want.

Yelp
While visiting Jackson, we stopped in for drinks and apps. The bartender told us it was happy hour and gave us the rundown on what was included. He gave us glasses of water and kept them filled which we appreciated. We enjoyed great cocktails along with the fries and yummy dipping sauces followed by the tartar. Everything was fabulous! We chatted with some locals and fellow visitors and really enjoyed the evening. The noise level got a little loud as it filled with people which is expected. Overall a great experience. We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
One of my favorite places! The dinners are exceptional, my favorite is the bison Wellington. The lunches are great and my favorite is the filet and burrata salad. Their bread is a must, it's from 460 bakery and is fresh and amazing. Their sample platter of meats is a great appetizer. On the drink menu, they change each season and always offer a great selection. If you ever see the Ursula, order two for yourself, they are just that great!

Morissa P.

Yelp
Very good food!!! I wanted to get onion soup, but the table next to me convinced me to get the Rueben sandwich, and I didn't regret it at all.

Natalia S.

Yelp
Loved my dinner here with my husband and parents -- and being from Colorado, we've had a lot of good meat. The bison tartar was one of the best we've had, as were the lamb chops appetizer. The elk steak was fantastic -- highly recommend as a main. My parents had the fish and a pasta with a meat sauce, and loved those as well. The service was lovely, too! Made our night. Highly recommend this for first-time or repeat visitors to Jackson to get the "local" experience -- hah!

Yelp
Great spot in downtown Jackson! I stopped in during happy hour and had fantastic service at the bar. The inside is cute and cozy but modern. The staff were fantastic and service quick. I got the Mac and cheese bites (part of their happy hour deals) and a Caesar salad (a true girl dinner). Both were fantastic! The Mac and cheese bites were clearly house made (in a great way - lightly breaded and delicious Mac inside)and the Caesar salad was big, perfectly dressed and fresh! Other diners seemed to thoroughly enjoy their meals as well. Would definitely recommend!

Shelby C.

Yelp
I am a heavy steak lover. For the price you pay, I do think the steak could've been better. You have to pay for each side separately, which is okay but they are pricy. The steak had so much fat, some fat is so good. But this had a bit too much for my liking. They did cook the steak just right The filet mignon was so good it melted in your mouth! The asparagus was great, cooked perfectly. The sodas do come in a can so no refills. So cute in there such Jackson Hole vibes.

Yelp
We LOVE this bar. The bartenders are amazing and the drinks are fantastic. Daryl helped us out last time we went in- great conversation and super attentive. Craft cocktails are delicious and awesome selection of Bourbon. Run there for happy hour now. 1/2 price on drinks under $15.

Lauren N.

Yelp
I really enjoyed my dinner at Local. Our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu. The vibes were quaint and comfortable. They served our sparkling water in wine glasses, and I really appreciated that detail. To eat I had the wagyu burger and a side salad. The burger was juicy and bursting with flavor. Some of my friends had the bison burger, which they really enjoyed, but said they preferred the flavor of a traditional beef burger. Another friend had the salad with duck on it. She said the duck was crispy and tasty. I would definitely return here for another meal.

Jesena M.

Yelp
We were very excited to try their food, they are packed, so making a reservation is almost a must, unless you can visit very early or after the main dinner rush. Service was definitely rushed and on the short almost unfriendly side, but the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. The food was great, steak was cooked on point, fries were delicious and my buffalo Wellington was cooked wonderfully. I didn't realize that my main dish didn't come with a side, a quick ask from the server would have been nice (that's where the rush also came in). I would have definitely added something to the meat or maybe they could just add a couple of veggies to complete the dish? They got a great cocktail menu and even some nice non alcoholic choices, there are also good beer options. Parking is on the street, so it can be tight, plan some extra time to find a spot.

Yelp
We had a DELICIOUS, memorable dinner this evening. We ordered the M & M family style meat platter as well as the snapper. Get the M & M platter for the WIN my husband says! Our family called it "Awesome!" Elk, bison, filet, dry aged beef, homemade sausage with 5 sauce choices...chimichurri was our favorite. The meat was cooked as requested, medium rare, and tasted amazing even without any sauce. Rachel took care of us making for a great end to our day.

Sobia B.

Yelp
We reserved pretty easily with 6 people, and we all got the burgers. They were pretty great with the size and the fries. They made them all according to the rareness we wanted which was great. The seasoning on the burger meat was good too. It wasn't dry. The service was fast and good? They do have a hour and half per table which they do keep up with. Other than that it was a good place. The decor is the classic mountain town vibes. I give one star less here as the prices are pretty high for a burger, and the waiter rushing us out wasn't the best.

Elizabeth S.

Yelp
What's for dinner? The Local restaurant and bar was our first dinner stop of our vacation. The modern American steakhouse and bar is conveniently situated on Jackson's historic town square. It has a trendy fast paced vibe and very popular! For dinner we enjoyed: the filet mignon -which was cooked perfectly, the truffled mac n cheese was rich and flavorful, the Brussel sprouts were crispy and delicious, and the onion soup was comforting. Great drinks! The drinks, including the espresso martini and lemon drops, were expertly crafted and complemented the meal beautifully. The service was fast and very organized. However, I do have to say that we did seem a bit rushed at times. Busy night.

Christina L.

Yelp
A solid spot with friendly staff and food that really hits the spot! Awesome vibe for watching sports games. We came in for a quick bite and left impressed. The beef Flintstone rib was a standout--so tender and savory, with the meat falling off the bone, perfect for sharing. The bone marrow with sundried tomatoes was delicious, and the mac and cheese bites were the perfect bite-sized treat. Definitely worth a visit!

Richard W.

Yelp
What a great lunch! Bar service was outstanding with great recommendations. Loved how they have designed the interior to be cowboy classic. My food was amazing. Bone marrow and the buffalo tartar. Two wonderful apps that became my meal. Will def come back. Oh, really good drink selections too. Whiskey and Tequila.

Yelp
I believe there's no better way to finish off a trip than with some high-end, delicious food. After a ton of research for fine dining in the area, we'd settled on Local thanks to the several unique options they offer and their cozy, yet upscale interior. Our group had come in hungry, skipping lunch earlier in the day, so naturally we'd ended up ordering half the menu. We'd ordered everything to arrive at once, which included a small serving of focaccia house bread /w gourmet butter, truffle mac n cheese, arugula salad, bone marrow, lollipop lamb tenderloin, rainbow trout, Yukon Gold mashed potatoes, truffle fries, wild sautéed mushrooms, and a slice of key lime pie for dessert. Service was friendly, we had a fun and hospitable host who chauffeured us to our table and got to know us for a bit. Our first plates took about 40 minutes to arrive, but given it being a Friday night in a packed house for one of the most popular tourist destinations in the planet I can give them a bit of leeway there. 460 Focaccia - not complementary, solid, loved the gourmet butter and olive oil they'd used. I'm a huge bread guy, this checks out. Blackened Idaho Trout - crisp, seared rainbow trout, in white cheddar grits served over a lobster cream sauce. Solid, it did the job. Lamb Lollipops - fun name, gorgeous plating with a thin pool of chimichurri adorned with a cloud of radish above, which was a work of art surrounding the tender, delicious lamb shank. I was told this was halal, which made it all the better for me. Truffled Mac & Cheese - best dish of the night, could eat a couple sides of these as a meal alone. It was incredibly savory, melt-in-your-mouth, and exploding with flavor with every bite. Can't wait to come back sometime and try it again. Sautéed Seasonal Wild Mushrooms - Not my favorite, this was my least favorite dish of the night. It was bland and lacking flavor. Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes - This was okay, but could've been better. It was a little bland. Truffle Fries - Super crisp and delicious Idaho potato fries, served with a couple of dipping sauces. Arugula Salad - One of my guilty pleasures is a good salad decked in cheese. Loved the addition of parmesan on here, and overall it meshed well with the lemon and olive oil. Key Lime Pie - the best key lime I've ever had. Topped off with whipped mascarpone, it made for a nice combo with the delicious, buttery, pot pie like base, and sweet key lime filling within. I could eat this all day.

Yelp
We had an exceptional dinner at the local. Make sure and do a reservation. We had the French onion soup, short rib and risotto. The service was quick and courteous. Restaurant nice, warm and inviting. Highly recommend.

Anastazia V.

Yelp
Made a reservation for local for my birthday dinner at 5pm. We were seated immediately and the service was good. I had the huckleberry old fashioned which was very good. I also ordered the ribeye and my husband had the elk chop. For sides we ordered the bacon Brussels sprouts and truffle Mac and cheese. The food was very good. For dessert we had the creme brûlée which was just ok. I would return for a solid, more upscale dinner option.

Stephanie S.

Yelp
We stopped in for dinner during our 1 night in Jackson and fully enjoyed our experience. We luckily visited during happy hour and were treated to half price cocktails. There are also food options during happy hour, but we didn't try any. We had pork wraps, steak frites and a crab cake. All were really delicious! We sat at the bar and a special shout out to Matt our bar tender (we sat at the bar) who was a fantastic host and knowledgeable steward of Jackson. Hope to make it back!

Elizabeth T.

Yelp
We dined here last night. I have had lunch here many times and it has been good, But last night was disappointing. Our server was nice but the minute we finished a plate, someone would be right there to remove it. We ordered salads, the beet and butternut salad was not great. The butternut squash had not been cooked and was hard compared to the cooked beets. The bison tartare was inedible. It looked like dog food and came with chips piled high on top. The burger was ok but there are better burgers in Jackson. The elk was ok, which when ordered other places it is cooked correctly. The sides were overcooked between the spinach that was pulverized and the mushrooms limp and overcooked. It was a shame. We won't be going back.

Ashley B.

Yelp
Local was recommended to us while we were staying in Jackson hole and I'm so grateful that it was! Local is a beautiful swanky little lounge restaurant that serves some pretty stellar food! The bison Wellington had great flavor it was sitting in some very heavy sauce that wasn't fully necessary. I think just a little drizzle of the sauce would've done justice as the dish itself had incredible flavor The brussels sprouts were lovely! Love to see that thick cut bacon incorporated with the flavor. And they were cooked beautifully. They had a nice crunch and they were cooked all the way through, so they were no hard pieces. I think the wedge had to be my favorite! I never experienced such a light blue cheese. It was almost like a blue cheese vinaigrette! Definitely recommend starting with this dish! All of the food here at local in Jackson hole is very rich.My fiancé and I came to local and split everything. We were equally satisfied and also had a couple of cocktails. I would certainly recommend if you are passing through Jackson especially for a nice evening that has a little bit more romantic feel. Heading over to cowboy bar before or after is also a really nice touch.

Katarina S.

Yelp
This is a gem! We sat at the bar after a long hike and devoured all the food we got. Don't skip the bison tartare, it was absolutely delicious with intricate flavors. We then got bison burgers that were very juicy and hit the spot. The service was quick. I also recommend the smoked trout salad (served cold) if you like smoked fish. I would definitely come back if I was in the area.

Yelp
I arrived in Jackson, Wyoming fairly late on June 18th and needed to grab a bite to eat. After searching Yelp (duh) I came across Local Restaurant & Bar located right in the heart of Jackson. I felt bad going so late (about 8:30pm) but really needed to get something substantial as I had been driving all day. For my beverage, I ordered the Fergus on the Beach (Mocktail) which was perfect, I really could have drank many, many more of them!! The combination of the coco Lopez, pineapple, orange, and nutmeg was great 0 it reminded me of a painkiller. And, of course, if there is a Wellington on the menu, I am ordering it! Never mind the fact I had just had the Wellington at Hell's Kitchen the night before - LOL! This BUFFALO Wellington was decent and reasonably priced. Flavorful with great sides. I appreciated how attentive my server, Michelle W., was and would recommend Local Restaurant & Bar to anyone visiting Jackson. Thank you!

Kaley N.

Yelp
Came here for our anniversary. Nice restaurant, nice enough staff but no one was overly kind. They do NOT have gluten free bread or buns here. They have a few gf options. You may be able to get some things changed up to make them gf. French fries are not celiac friendly. I got the burger and it was good but a gluten free bun would have been a really nice option to have, and I found it strange with the amt of people in the country who have an allergy or intolerance that they didn't go that extra mile. Almost every other restaurant has options for that. Oh well. The meal was about priced right for this sort of place. And my husband really liked his food.

Scott M.

Yelp
Service was excellent! Ambiance of food was excellent. I had the 1/2 lbs. Buffalo burger and home made fries. My girlfriend had the Philly Steak Sandwich and fries which was excellent. Highly recommend !!

Stuart K.

Yelp
We sat at the bar. Bartender makes a great drink! They even have a happy hour. Both got burgers with fries. They were perfectly cooked and outstanding. Restaurant is very clean with a friendly atmosphere. Can't miss here!

Cassie K.

Yelp
I've made a reservation at this place every time I've come to Jackson and never been disappointed. The staff is superb, and their meals are perfectly curated and prepared. The waiters and waitresses have also made great suggestions and are knowledgeable about the dishes. It's usually busy so make a reservation if you can!

Harper F.

Yelp
If you are visiting Jackson Hole you have to stop at Local! Take my word for it. Our waiter was super attentive and friendly. We were well taken care of. I wish I could remember his name for this review. He was great. We ordered the Buffalo Tartare appetizer for the table. I ordered the Bleu Cheese Salad and Truffle Mac and Cheese for dinner. Every dish served to our table was phenomenal. We all really enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Local!

Ezra B.

Yelp
We picked Local for a special date night toward the end of our trip, looking for a place with a more refined atmosphere--and it delivered! The prices were very reasonable for the quality, and we didn't feel like we were paying a premium just for being in Jackson. A great choice for a nicer meal.

Yelp
Came here for dinner while we were visiting the area. One of my friends ordered a Moscow Mule and it came in a tall glass - never had a mule in a glass, always in mug. Service was okay but for a steakhouse with a higher price point, it should be better than average. Food: -460 Focaccia: this was good and the bread was soft. -14 oz Ribeye: we each ordered our ribeyes medium but got more of medium rare. Other than that, the ribeye was good. -Truffles Mac n Cheese: lacked flavor, my least favorite side dish. Didn't taste any truffles and was very dry, would not recommend. -Crispy Brussels Sprouts: good and crispy -Yukon Gold Gratin: lacked flavor as well

Zach B.

Yelp
The single worst restaraunt customer service experience I have ever had. After ordering our entrée's and drinks we sat there waiting for our food. A minute or two after ordering the table next to us was served their appetizers. My wife thought one of the apps looked amazing and so we asked our waiter what they ordered. He had a water pitcher in his hand and was visibly annoyed by our question. he rolled his eyes and made a very rude comment about how we aren't his only table and how i needed to wait my turn. He came back fifteen minutes later and was again very short and rude. We obviously did not order anything additional at this point. My wife suggested we leave or ask for the manager. I did not want to make a scene so we just sat there and waited for our meal. Another waiter brought us our food. We did not see our waiter again until the end of the meal when he came by the table to give us the check. I have never tipped below 20% until this meal but was the first time i have left a note as a "tip". For a fine dining restaurant, we surely did not have a fine dining experience. My "tip" for local... just be kind.

Eric F.

Yelp
Food was pretty good besides the risotto. Felt it was pretty overpriced, which is normal for the area unfortunately, but there weren't very many options for open restaurants after 9pm. The risotto was very undercooked and overall not that great (no real flavor, texture was off). My parents liked their bison Wellington and local rainbow trout but commented that the sauces/sides were overpowering. Lastly, we were able to reserve our table for 9:15 through OpenTable but then learned via text message that their kitchen closes at 9:00. Luckily they were able to accommodate us, but pretty stressful situation for no reason. Overall, it was just an okay meal for what looked to be a really promising menu.

Lucy N.

Yelp
We LOVED our experience here. We started off with a drink and some oysters, then we opted for some amazing focaccia. Our experience was off to such a delicious start that we decided to stay for dinner. We were guided to order one of the amazing steaks by our fantastic server. It was truly delicious and we also tried the beef tartar. Unfortunately the one thing that really turned me off from this restaurant was the host staff. I actually initially walked in for lunch and was literally scared off by the rude host. When I returned for dinner, I almost left again due to yet another rude host. This is a really nice place with great food and drinks, but I'd recommend working on a bit more welcoming host stand attitude.

Kara R.

Yelp
Perfection location. Nice restaurant but not overly fancy. Service was good and attentive. We had the bone marrow for appetizer just to try it for the first time and it was amazing. We split the elk tbone and Brussels and it was cooked perfectly. The cocktails were definitely the best we have had in town.

Rodrigo T.

Yelp
We're quite versed on dining in a posh restaurant. When we were looking around at the beginning of our trip, we thought to make this our dindin finale. Only because it was the fancy spot in downtown Jackson. Let's get to it shall we. Oysters: It's very fresh. The mignonette was perfectly done. The hubby and I enjoyed this plate very much. Bone Marrow: it's a little bland, has to sprinkle salt on it so I could get some flavor. Also paired with a buttered toast was a little overwhelming. Fat on fat is just not a pleasant thing. Please adjust. Buffalo Wellington: This dish is the reason why I suggested we eat here. I asked for it Medium Rare, but turned out to lean a little more on the rare side. It's quite an interesting dish compared to the regular beef. As the late Anthony Bourdain would say. "Not my favorite thing in the world." Elk Chop: This was my hubby's dish and was totally sublime. Prolly what saved the whole dindin experience. Too bad I only got a little bite cause he was totally enjoying every bite of that meat. Bread Pudding: This was our dessert option. It was also a little uninspired. I enjoyed the ice cream. The pudding would be much enjoyable if it was warm warm. Anyways, it's a nice setting. The service was pretty good and prompt. Whoever that was serving us that night knew what he was doing. Thank you so much for reading my review. I hope this helps with your decision making experience. Enjoy your awesome yelptastic day!!! Muchas gracias y hasta pronto!

Lauren M.

Yelp
My husband and I were in Jackson to celebrate our anniversary. We decided to eat at Local. I can't say enough. Between the delicious food, and kind waiter we had a wonderful time.

Farrah W.

Yelp
Food was not good. Now maybe it's because we came on Christmas and they had the B team in. Soups were cold, Trout dish was dry and the steaks weren't cooked correctly even the second time. Bread and fries are okay. Would recommend trying a different place if you're coming to Jackson Hole.

Andrew L.

Yelp
We had come to local in 2018 and found it to be pretty good, so when we were back in 2023, we wanted to try it again. This time around, it wasn't as good as the first, but I can recommend a few items. The buffalo tartare, charcuterie, brussel sprouts and truffle Mac and cheese were all very good. My wife and I ordered the buffalo wellington to share and the puff pastry was undercooked, and the addition of spinach was a little odd. I think next time, if we come back, we'd get a steak and keep everything else. Service was fine, it is Jackson so everything is going to be more expensive, but they did seat us, even with a toddler, so that was a plus.

Megan K.

Yelp
Great food and service! Super fun menu and a friendly service. We tried several cocktails that were all unique and tasty. We shared the Mac and cheese bites that had a delicious cheesy sauce. I had the house made vegetarian burger. It was flavorful and unique flavor. My boyfriend tried the Flintstone Rib. It was a large portion and serviced with bone marrow fried rice. He said it was very flavorful. It is an attention getting dish. Several people stopped at the table to ask what it was. Would definitely return!

Samantha K.

Yelp
I'm not sure why this place has such mixed reviews. Yes, they do have an hour and a half table limit but we never felt rushed by any employees. They have an excellent whiskey menu. Our food was hot and delicious. We talked about the food for the rest of the night! We got the bison ribeye and four sides; truffle mac and cheese, mushrooms, asparagus, and mashed potatoes. All were full of flavor and plates were wiped clean. Our waitress was very friendly and personable, don't let the mixed reviews sway you!! This is a must in Jackson.

Camy K.

Yelp
Friendly staff in a convenient location. The ambience is great for all sorts of party, no background music but it's a bit loud inside with all the people. Price $$$-$$$$ Almost everything we ordered was delicious excrpt for the truffled Mac and cheese, it was the most disappointing. If ordering the elk Chop I would recommend going no further than rare because of how lean the meat is. Bone marrow and french onion soup were both very delicious. The crab cake was a bit drier but it was seasoned well. Could always use more crab meat The huckleberry old fashioned (not pictured) was also very flavorful. Overall, highly recommended.

Tara G.

Yelp
I rarely add a negative review but the hostess last night might be the rudest since visiting Nobu in Malibu. There was a wait for the bar and I put my name down. I asked what food if any did they provide on the happy hour menu. She rudely in a condescending way blurted out. "Well since you are on a two person before you wait list and you have 25 min left I don't think you're going to need it." I'm still in disbelief that a hostess in Jackson Wyoming would be that rude. I have eaten here previously and enjoyed myself. I don't think I will return. Usually establishments say grab and drink and then if something opens grab that seat. All in all I am disappointed in the entire experience. I tried a new restaurant down the street with friendly staff and was delighted. The restaurant staff can make or break your experience. They need a happier less snobby greeter/hostess.

Veronica G.

Yelp
Great choice for steak. Little on the pricey side, but your in the mountains and having fun so don't judge. Mark our server went above and beyond customer service! Really enjoyed his hospitality and recommendations for desserts. We will definitely be back!

Katie M.

Yelp
Good option for dinner with better quality than most of the places in town. My steak was cooked to perfection. Trout, sautéed spinach & mashed potatoes also were pretty good however rice mixture served with trout not great. Kids steak also slightly chewy. Huckleberry ice cream was delicious. Crème brulee was okay but nothing special. Great service!

Whitney F.

Yelp
This is a fancier restaurant but it does not disappoint. We originally came here because of the customizable bison burger, what we didn't know [and what wasn't explained] was that is something served only on the bar side. When we made our reservation we didn't even know there was a bar side and the hostess never asked which side we wanted. That aside, our server was absolutely fantastic; patient and attentive, and good with kids. He was also very knowledgeable about the menu. I definitely do recommend this restaurant, the food is delicious and it is located right in the heart of downtown across from the park. Great street and park views and you can watch the stagecoach making it's rounds. When we come back to Jackson, we will definitely try the bar side.

Yelp
Service was AMAZING!!!! Good wine, great cocktails. But for an upscale steak place I was disappointed. $44 ribeye was tough. Lots of tendons and gristle to cut around. Ordered medium rare, came with it rare. Sent back to recook and they sent me a whole new side. Seasonings on steak were great!!! Loved the tarragon butter. Just topped a mediocre cut. Side of asparagus with bearnaise sauce was amazing. Again, great bartenders and service. Loved that they let me sample wines before choosing. That's a top notch benefit. Maybe I should've gone with the filet.....

Yelp
The food is good but the Manhattan on the menu is $75. This is ridiculous. What is this restaurant thinking with this pricing? I'm certainly going to trash them every chance I get.

Yelp
Went here the other night and everything was excellent. I got the foccacia bread, Cesar salad, and Elk Chop. Best dinner we've had so far in Jackson, WY

Yelp
Luckily we'd made a reservation for dinner and got seated soon after arriving. It's nice and cozy inside and decor is fitting for Jackson. Servers were all very nice and on top of everything. Drinks were great and spirit forward. I love the names of the cocktails. We got the lobster bisque soup, bone marrow appetizer, and M&M for our entree to share for the table. Everything was so so good and so full we couldn't quite finish all the food. Portions were big! The soup was light, flavorful, and creamy. The bone marrow was big and loved the tomato vinaigrette on the board to go with the bread and marrow. It balanced out the flavor nicely and was delicious. The M&M that night included the filet, dry aged tomahawk, elk chop, buffalo, 2 different kinds of house made sausage, included all the sauces, and 4 sides of our choosing. We got the creamed spinach, mashed potatoes, mushrooms, and mac n cheese. All the meat was cooked well. Meat was all cooked nicely and nice to try all the different sauces. The meat didn't really even need the sauce but favorites were the chimichurri and bourbon steak sauce. Favorite meat on the board was the elk and bison sausage. It was a bit smoky and had great flavor. All the sides were delicious too but favorites were the mac and cheese and creamed spinach. By the end of the meal we were way too full for dessert but the menu looked great. Definitely recommend and would come back!
