I cannot recall the name of the cocktails, but it had Mezcal, Jalapeno Infused Tequila, and Passionfruit juice in it and it was spectacular. It came recommended by Jason, who was a great host. My cousin had the Elote Wings and I had the Vegan Nachos. Each were really good and the nachos were HUGE and as much as I wanted to finish them, I couldn't. I heated them in the air fryer the next day. I especially like that their Vegan options aren't basic like many other restaurants, which gives Vegans more options to choose from. This was my first time and certainly won't be my last.

If you want some great tacos, drinks and happy hour vibes, this is the place! Dollar Taco Night is especially amazing !! 🌮 🙌 Mia, our server, did a great job and was really nice! Also, I am celiac and they do gluten free really well! its never a bad time to go LOCO 😁

Cool retro atmosphere Mexican restaurant and bar. Local favorite! Came for brunch with a friend who is a regular. Bartender was friendly and honest about menu items so that you get what you want. Definitely look forward to going back next time I'm in the Graduate Hospital area. There's indoor and outdoor seating.

My favorite neighborhood spot! Although we live super close by, the food and drinks are more than worth a trip! Bonus, Ian is the best bartender in town and great place to watch a game!

We had the best time ever this Halloween with my kids! They organized a party that I hope becomes an annual tradition. Through Instagram, they invited everyone and created a wonderful atmosphere with fun activities for the kids, including a costume contest, a perfect kids' menu, treats, and of course, the best themed adult drinks. Tyler from management did an outstanding job orchestrating this event. You could truly see how much he cared about creating a fun experience, even taking the time to go outside and hand out candy to the children passing by. He is definitely a gem! I previously wrote a review on Yelp a few years ago, and I rated them 5 stars then, and it’s still 5 stars today. The food remains delicious, the staff is incredibly kind, and the drinks keep flowing perfectly! I want to highlight two staff members, Lizzy and Ian. They each have different bartending styles but excel in customer service and craft amazing drinks. Whenever we see Lizzy, we’re usually under tight time constraints, but she gets everything done so efficiently. It feels like she’s magically pushing the food! Even with the quick turns, our time with her is always phenomenal. She’s definitely a keeper! Her spicy margaritas, and pretty much anything she creates on the fly, are delicious. We’re always so excited to see her when we walk in, and she really knows how to make us feel special! Plus, I love the music she plays while she’s working. I was introduced to Ian by a dear friend who absolutely adores him, and I can see why. He’s perfectly suited to run a full bar. Even on busy nights, like $1 taco night, he remains steady and attentive, ensuring everyone has what they need. His drinks are top-tier, and his spicy and strawberry spicy margaritas can't be beat! He is a sweetheart who genuinely cares about his guests’ experiences. Thank you to everyone for making our visits so special! I can't wait to come back.

Happy hour was great. Nachos were bigger than expected and delicious . Good margs and birria tacos. Friendly servers and good vibes.

Google
The food is very good. Loved the mushroom and soy chorizo bowls and quesadillas. The ambience is okay and the space is small. The outside seating has a lot of bugs and mosquitos around, some arrangements to keep them out would be helpful. We were forced to sit outside even though the insides were empty, because they had other reservations coming in later that night. It wasn't very comfortable and hence I'd recommend making a reservation beforehand.

My husband and I come here pretty much every week for an after work drink and snack. We love the chill, non-pretentious vibes. Great drink menu, the nachos are delicious, so is the guac, and we LOVE the churros. The service is amazing - such a warm, welcoming, awesome crew.

Yelp
You can't get a better deal than dolly taco night!! There was a long wait when we got there (5:40pm), but bar seating was first come first serve so we did that. The food came out quickly after ordering. On to the food: I felt that most of the tacos were very flavorful. My favorite was the Al Pastor because the slight sweetness from the pineapple on top complemented the saltiness of the meat perfectly. The carne asada and carnitas teetered on the edge of being dry, but they still had flavor infused into the meat. The pollo tinga was a nice surprise for me - I thought this was juicy and seasoned well. Camerones and pez were both fried to perfection and not heavy at all (I ordered without the crema though). There were variable sizes of pez, so some tacos had little meat while others had more. I'd personally get the Camerones over pez. The chorizo and potato was forgettable, nothing to write home about. Unfortunately, the veggie options were slacking in the flavor department compared to the meats. Soy chorizo tasted exactly like the soy chorizo from Trader Joe's; seitan adobo had nice texture; mushroom had no flavor and was mushy.

Yelp
I went to Loco Pez for Dollar Taco Night. The staff were so nice and patient. We had a large party, so they set up us in a half circular booth and brought over an extra table and chairs. We got through early and put in our order quickly, so the tacos also came out quickly; however, even when we placed additional orders after, the tacos didn't take unreasonably long to come out. The table had several different salsas/hot sauces. I tried all of the non-vegetarian tacos and especially enjoyed the camarones and al pastor. Can't wait to eat here again!

Sy L.

Yelp
My 1st time at Loco Pez. When I first walked in I thought the place was really small! But then I was asked if I wanted to be seated upstairs. The upstairs section had another bar and TV's ( I was able to watch a baseball game). I ordered the house margarita ( no complaints), nachos ( they were okay), chicken taco ( pretty good). Our waitress was attentive. They have outside seating that I am Sure is popular during the spring/summer months.

Sarah S.

Yelp
ITS A MUST to come and try their dollar taco nights!!!! I believe they post on their Instagram once a week on a random week day, the day that they're doing dollar tacos (on the day of). So you won't get to know which day they're doing $1 tacos, but if you're able to secure a spot at the restaurant for this special, please do!!! Went with some family a couple days ago and it was so wonderful and delicious. Our server was very kind and attentive and we did tip her a bit extra just because we could see her running around during this rush hour, it was a bit hectic on the restaurant's side of things, so I do appreciate everything they do during these crazy times!! We were seated outside and the graduate hospital location is very nice and in a nice neighborhood with nice vibes. Definitely want to try out the other locations especially for another dollar taco night. 10/10 recommend!

Royce D.

Yelp
Pretty good taco spot in Graduate Hospital. I came here for dollar tacos night, which is on one weekday per week after 5 PM (revealed on their Instagram page). I got the fried shrimp, fried fish, chorizo, carne asada, and al pastor. The fried fish and fried shrimp have a nice crunchy texture with white sauce, and the al pastor is super flavorful. The other tacos (chorizo, pollo tinga, carne asada) are pretty average in terms of flavor. Each table has plenty of diverse salsas to choose from. Quick and friendly service. Seating for groups up to four people can take up to an hour on dollar taco night (highly recommend showing up 5pm sharp). Lots of seating on the ground and second floors.

Nate S.

Yelp
Holy freakin wow Loco Pez goes Loco on my taste buds. This place is fergidelicious - it pulls out all the stops being the most delightful mexican experience. In you walk to this dive bar just looks like the perfect dimly lit gem that you have ever seen. the table got the nachos and boy oh boy did the table like the nachos oh my goodness it was so delicious and then you finish the nachos and BOOM the table shakes as they drop the most meaty packed burrito of all time in front of me. the Flavor profile explodes into your mouth with all the mexican goodness that you could ever desire striking all the traditional flavor tones. Man oh man was this good. Me lady got vegetarian bowl and again it shook the table with it's contents when it hit the table because it was absolutely overflowing with delicious flavor profiles. Only downside was there was no Mexican Coke AKA the best Coke known to man but I can't even dock it a star for that because of supply chain and that this was simply a 5 star experience in every sense of the way.

Erin M.

Yelp
Dollar taco night is my favorite! But also great to go any time of the week! Friendly staff, great place to watch the games at upstairs on large tv!

Lynn D.

Yelp
the service and ambiance is awesome! the food was not my favorite, but i did just move from Texas where the tex mex gave me high standards. definitely worth checking out still

Alice L.

Yelp
absolutely in love with dollar taco night! i am obsessively checking the instagram every single week, and you bet i will be back again! i've been raving about dolly tocky to my friends ever since the first time i went, and i was finally able to go again yesterday! we showed up early this time at 4:55p and beat the crowd, no wait at all and just in time for dollar taco AND happy hour. this visit, our server did let us know that it was both dollar taco and happy hour. lizzie was the absolute sweetest! we destroyed 7-8 tacos each and had a few margs as well. the margs were very strong, which was exactly what we wanted. we were seated on the first floor this time, at a very cute high top table. the chairs were comfortable enough, albeit very hard to get onto. i still can't get over how good of a deal dolly tocky is!

Michelle G.

Yelp
Very cozy, vintage vibe. Two bars and an upstairs dining makes the wait reasonable. Food is consistently delicious! This time they had a duck confit taco that was sensational!! Drinks always solid as is the staff. Definitely worth it!

Olga K.

Yelp
Ambience is simple and quiet, which I like. My husband had a spicy margarita as his drink & he said it was impressive. As for food--we remained unsure if we want to come back for it. Chicken enchiladas were amazing, birria beef tacos were just okay, & shrimp quesadillas was just not--not good at all. It didn't look or taste like one. We did like its tres leches cake! I don't think we'll drive out of our way for the food but may stop by for a drink if in neighborhood.

John Michael S.

Yelp
Dollar Taco night is where it is at! If you are a local follow their social media and they will randomly drop the most heavenly nights. Plus happy hour? It's a great time!

Jonathan E.

Yelp
Ordered a meat burrito. I got a $12 burrito full of beans. It's sad they don't fulfill what they promise.

Stephanie R.

Yelp
Loco Pez is quickly becoming a new favorite of mine! The food is great (highly recommend getting the nachos-definitely shareable) and the drinks are delicious! Everything was served very quickly after ordering. Indoor and outdoor seating is available and they do take reservations. The prices are pretty reasonable and I've never had a bad meal here. Definitely worth my trek into grad hospital!

Andrea R.

Yelp
Loco Pez NEVER disappoints. The staff is always great, the nachos are always poppin', the drinks are always tasty. In my numerous visits to all their locations, I've never ever left Loco Pez unhappy. The key to a successful visit to Loco Pez is mid-week happy hour. Half-off nachos (the best in the city, and the best in the universe) which in and of itself should be enough to draw you in. They're vegetarian by nature (I think? Might need to ask about the refried beans.) - but you can add a large scoop of guac or some protein of choice if you wish. The nachos are meant to share - I usually order my own and make it my dinner. 15/10. Their margaritas and beers are always a hit, too. Happy hour is 5-7. Includes drink and food specials. If you're looking for a good time and a full belly, there's no where better than Loco Pez.

Megan C.

Yelp
I've only been to this Loco Pez location once, but I am a big fan. It was a pretty tame Sunday afternoon and we opted to sit at the bar. Service and margs were on point, and additional kudos for a great playlist and laid back atmosphere. I was super grateful to the bartender who helped me actualize my chemist/mixologist dreams by pouring us 'lil cups of their flavor purees so we could spice up our pitcher at will. I loved the passionfruit and hibiscus combo, but the blood orange was also a big win. I think this would be an ideal first date spot or casual neighborhood hang with friends. They have a great happy hour and I'll have to update my review once I try more of their menu, but I can see this being in the regular rotation. Great tequila and mezcal list for enthusiasts, and I look forward to trying their other two locations as well.

Drew H.

Yelp
Best happy hour and the nachos fucking rock. Excellent bar tender and outdoor seating.

Gabriella W.

Yelp
After a long hiatus from visiting Loco Pez, a friend alerted me to the fact that it was Dollar Taco night and I decided that there was no time like the present for some redemption tacos. Dollar Taco night was announced on their instagram, and started at 5 PM and went until closing. In addition to the fact that they had tacos for a dollar, there were also happy hour specials from 5-7 PM. We arrived at 6 PM and the place was packed. This was my first time attempting to dine inside and I realized they have an upstairs seating area. Since the place was packed with eager dollar taco diners, we decided to grab the two remaining seats at the bar. The place has very hip decor and is dimly lit. We ordered drinks and some tacos (obviously), and we decided to split nachos, since they're half off for happy hour. Our service was way more attentive that I've ever experienced in the past. The food came out pretty quickly and everything tasted as delicious as I had remembered. I'm glad I decided to come back, and think that I'll keep Loco Pez on my list of 5-star happy hour spots. The outdoor seating and service that comes with it will remain in the 3-star realm at best... and I'm not sure that I'll be able to give that another chance.

Avni V.

Yelp
So vegan friendly! Great hh specials! Love this place. The vegan nacho are the way to go!

Peter S.

Yelp
Loco Pez is consistently awesome. Fun bar and great burritos and nachos. Everyone who works there is friendly and (unlike most places these days) doesn't make you feel like you're bothering them.

Maddy N.

Yelp
Great place for a dinner on a week night. The food was all so good ($6 nachos too). The burrito bowl was delicious. The music they were playing was so awesome. Margs were OK, but were only $6. Loved it!

Cesar F.

Yelp
"When the menu says CARNE ASADA, I expect carne asada, not shredded beef! Come on! I mean, the guacamole was delicious, so I expected a good carne asada burrito. This is not an LA taco food truck!"

Justin B.

Yelp
If I was going to rate every Loco Pez from worst to best it would go like this: West Philly Fishtown And top of the pile South Philly I already loved loco Pez Fishtown but this one is even better. It's not all cash. It's really big. There's 2 floors with tons of space. I even think the food is somehow better. The only thing it wasn't better at was service. That I think had to do with only one person covering the whole upstairs. So that person was responsible for taking orders and making drinks. Maybe it's not normally that busy on a Tuesday and they weren't expecting it? I don't know when this opened but I'm sorry I'm just finding out about it tonight. Next time I'm down south I'm going to suggest it.

Chris D.

Yelp
I stopped by after reading they have a great happy hour online. Unfortunately the days of $20 marg pitchers and $4 margs have gone away :( Their happy hour deal is now $6 house margs and 1/2 price nachos which is still great just not as good as before. We sat outside because it was a gorgeous Friday afternoon. They have ample seating and it's a great vibe when the weather is nice. The only downside (like other reviews have mentioned) is the service isn't as attentive. There was even a couple behind us that left after not being waited on after 15 minutes. If you can get past the slower service, the margs and food were great. The nachos were so yummy and I actually cannot remember better nachos I've had recently. They had tons of toppings and some great pickled onions. The margs were pretty standard but still refreshing and a little on the stronger side which I can always appreciate Definitely consider stopping by for happy hour, I hope to be back to try more of their food. Hopefully it's just as good or better than the nachos!!

Siyu Z.

Yelp
Good service but average food.... If I'm looking for a casual snack with friends near my home, I'd opt for this place. 12

Chaiyeon L.

Yelp
This place is a solid place for tacos. I went to the fishtown one before the grad hospital one and food was a standard good at both places. I think their seafood based tacos (I tried the Fish and the shrimp) are generally better than their meat based ones (I had their Al pastor and carne). The service is on the bad side because they're so busy. I love their daily happy hours from 5-7, but I love their one dollar taco nights even more. They'll announce one dollar taco nights on their Instagram randomly once a week and it's from 5pm-close. But just make sure you get there super early like (4:50 or something) because otherwise there will be a super duper long wait (like 90 plus minutes). Overall I would say it's a safe bet for tacos, but personally I would not go there unless it was for their one dollar taco nights because their regular menu prices are a lot more expensive (~4.50 per taco that's on the smaller side)

Yeye M.

Yelp
If I could give one star Food isn't good enough to be dehumanized and ignored as if I was not a person. I asked if they were open the bartender says yeah and proceeded to watch me stand there for minutes in a virtually empty without even eye contact a word or any attempt to serve seat or even say hello. As a Philadelphia native and and Afro ñLatina This mezcla of gentrification and americano Mexican capitalism.....plus feeling like less than human after getting sick from their food before I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN and I suggest you check out the plethora of authentic Mexican food just around the corner.

Dom A.

Yelp
This might be one of my new favorite happy hour spots that I recently found. They offer it during the week and on the weekend. I went on a Saturday after work 1 pm to 3 pm for $5 margaritas and half off beer. The tacos aren't too expensive at all and they are good. They even offer $1 taco nights every once awhile

Kalonjah B.

Yelp
I would like to say Loco Pez is located in a very nice area. It's family friendly, the restrooms were cleaned. They just get very packed easily being as though the restaurant is small. I would like to say they are very pleasant, great manners and will accommodate as they can! I do love the vibe in Loco pez however when it comes to food I just felt like they didn't have much to offer. I just didn't understand how they are a Mexican place but doesn't have any corn or to be exact street corn? That really blew my mind and certain basic beverages they just didn't offer so the variety of stuff that you think would be common at this place just isn't. My family and myself went here just because we were in the neighborhood and we want d to give them an try but the food was just alright not the type of selection that I would or my family would come back for and we love Mexican food! I would say I did like how the host had a lot of patience and manners also when they give out their portions for the food they gave a lot which I did appreciate.

Laura D.

Yelp
I wish I had taken pics of our food. :( We were craving some Mexican vibes for dinner and trolled DoorDash for some options. We settled on Loco Pez. I ordered the chicken quesadilla. I ordered the corn tortilla modification. The menu says comes with Pico, crema and lettuce. The order arrived without pico, crema and lettuce and it was not on corn tortillas. :( I ended up not really enjoying the food, maybe I'm not a tinga fan? But I only ate one of the two quesadillas that arrived. (The photo in the listing had 3, not sure if it just a misleading photo or I was not given my whole order. The boyfriend enjoyed his food. I did like the order of chips. The chips are nice and thick and had good flavor. We will probably try again in the future and order other things.

Nichelle N.

Yelp
Pretty good taco spot though I have to mention it is very expensive. I had the shrimp tacos both sautéed and fried but I preferred the fried. Also have to mention they have a pretty solid mocktails menu with 5 or so options. Service was also really good even though it was quite busy. I will definitely be coming back though probably during the previously mention dollar nights.

Alex G.

Yelp
The margs are cheap, strong, and large. If that is what you are looking for, this is the place for you. All the margs taste the same though, don't bother getting the different flavors, because they all just taste very spirit-forward. The tacos in this restaurant are average, not spectacular (there are definitely better tacos in Philly), but pretty good. After trying all the tacos on the menu, my favorites are the Al Pastor and Shrimp Tacos. Great happy hour place. I would come back with friends, but I wouldn't actively suggest we eat here.

paula b.

Yelp
We came in after attending a festival on South Street. We stopped here on the recommendation of a friend in the neighborhood. We were greeted quickly when we had a seat at the bar and quickly given menus and glasses of water. We ordered a margarita and a custom hard seltzer (vodka and Jarritos) while we looked over the menu. The female bartender (with dreadlocks) kept up a light friendly conversation and answered questions we had about the menu. I wanted to omit some items from my order and she said that was okay and the dishes came out as ordered. As our drinks were about a quarter empty we were asked if we wanted to add more drinks to the order. As my partner and I were talking about trivia facts, she mentioned that the bar hosted quizzo during the week. Overall the service was superior and the food was fine. If I was in the area or looking for a quizzo location I would stop by.

Aziza D.

Yelp
I love the $1 taco days! It's one of my favorite spots after work. The nachos are pretty good and are only $6 during happy hour which is every day! Eclectic bar with diverse and good music. The service is good even with the chaos. Order your tacos as soon as your server asks to avoid a wait from the kitchen that gets busy

Sofia S.

Yelp
I came to Philadelphia to visit an old friend and we decided on Loco Pez for lunch before I caught my train home. My friend Sarah comes to this place just about every week, and I was so excited to see what it's all about. This place is amazing! We got there for brunch and they had so many awesome options, the waiter was very kind and he even made sure we could order the special and the kitchen made it fresh for us. The food was spectacular, the bar was one of the cutest I've seen, and it was a wonderful experience. I'll definitely be back next time I come to Philly!

Sarah S.

Yelp
I've been to loco pez grad hospital once and it was pretty solid. They always have good happy hour deals and $1 taco night. I personally would only go during those times because the food is good but really worth it with the deals. The Guac was good and the nachos are where it's at. The service was fine and I'll def be back for $1 taco night asap!

Leena S.

Yelp
Loco Pez is a nice addition to the area since it's a recent opening in October 2019. From the outside the building looks rather unassuming but the inside is very spacious with the restaurant located on two floors. Tip: Cash only restaurant. There is an ATM inside. The restaurant has an overall retro feel. The upstairs, in fact, it was reminiscent of your grandmothers living room. With older style wallpaper and photographs along with classic old time refrigerators. We were here for happy hour and sat at the upstairs bar. The service was very friendly and our food came out quickly. We ordered the nachos off the happy hour menu which for $5 is a great deal. There were a lot of nachos, however, I felt the toppings were lacking. We also ordered a couple of tacos (al pastor, carne asada, and seitan and spinach). My husband enjoyed the al pastor and the carne asada. The seitan was extremely salty.

Kyle C.

Yelp
I was very excited to try Loco Pez. There are a few other locations in Philly, but none super close to me so I never bothered to ventured out to them. Now that one has opened up in my neighborhood I don't have an excuse not to get my taco fix. We excitedly ordered five tacos for each of us. All different types of meat. Sadly they were all not great. These were the most okay tacos I've ever had. The nachos were cheap because of happy hour but they were very okay as well. Mostly nachos, not much good stuff/toppings. The service was okay. Food came out quick. The place is cool inside. I'd come back in for happy hour to grab a marg and a snack before dinner but I won't come back again for a full meal. I'd rather "Live Mas" at Taco Bell. Oh yeah I forgot until just now. They only accept cash, this is not how you should treat your amigos in 2019!!!

Diana T.

Yelp
Great food! The Guacamole is perfect. The place has a very Cool vibe- I felt like I was in Austin Texas.

Meghan M.

Yelp
Great neighborhood taqueria. The highlights: Tacos are great. My faves are the mushroom and the shrimp tacos. Cocktails - basically anything with tequila - are super tasty. Guacamole is top notch and the serving is huge. Outdoor seating is plentiful. Service is super friendly. Only eaten there so can't speak for the takeout but if you're on the hunt for great Mexican food, Loco Pez is your place.

Abby S.

Yelp
I recently returned to Loco Pez after a long hiatus and my experience was just such a letdown. This time we went in person, so I can state that the seating is cute (they have both indoor and outdoor tables as well as bar seating). I can also say the service was friendly and timely. Unfortunately, as far as the food goes, it definitely left a lot to be desired. We tried a variety of tacos and they just didn't taste authentic. The taco shells were cold and the tortillas uncooked. It just was so odd to me that they weren't cooked or grilled. They fell apart when you tried to lift the taco. The pez taco (or fish) I thought would be a specialty because of the restaurant's name, but it was the most lacking taco we tried. It just was grilled fish and had no seasoning. It also can come fried, so maybe it's better seasoned fried? We also had the chips and guac. The guac tasted fresh and was a nice size for the price. The birria taco was unreal though, so maybe I'd come back just for those. I just think there's such better options in the neighborhood, so I'm not sure I'd return.

Megan Y.

Yelp
Pretty good. Love the sides. Some of the tacos aren't my favorites but I'll order rice and beans forever.

Samantha D.

Yelp
Most amazing tacos!! The mushroom and carnitas are to die for, this is our go to taco crave smasher!

Abraham K.

Yelp
The service here has always been really great - you can usually get seated pretty fast and the servers are all really attentive. If you have a chance to check out the upstairs, it's super pretty and well decorated. I'd recommend their carne asada tacos and burritos, as well as the Nachos de Kenzo if you're looking for something big to share.

Nicole W.

Yelp
Definitely feeling a little loco about this place. Came here for happy hour and got the dollar tacos (soy chorizo) and was not disappointed. The margs were also pretty decent (not too heavy and not too sweet). Came here with a big group (10 people) and we got a table pretty last minute too, which was great! We got the chips and guac to start and the guac was not super flavorful. My friend got the nachos and really enjoyed it, but did wish there was more cheese. Overall, will definitely be visiting this Pez again!

Tricia T.

Yelp
I've only ordered takeout from Loco Pez so I can't speak to the service or whatever, but so far it's been a decent spot for tacos and burritos. I've ordered burritos twice. They're really filling. The second time (tonight) I got the asada burrito and added lettuce to it and the crunch was necessary! Glad I did that. Husband has ordered tacos and says they are tasty. The nachos... Probably not the best item to get to-go in general, but these just aren't my favorite. I think a lot of the menu follows the same recipe: pico, sour cream, cheese, meat, refried beans. It's just a matter of what format you want that combination to come in -- burrito, quesadilla, etc. Unfortunately that recipe just doesn't work for me when it comes to nachos -- the beans just make them really wet and heavy. We probably won't order the nachos again. Overall, decent food but not my absolute favorite for Mexican in the area. The place looks cute though in person and some day we will have to dine-in and just remember to skip the nachos and try other things.

Yelp
Decided to pop into Loco Pez and they did not disappoint. Such a cute Mexican place with a great vibe and great customer service. We got the Nachos w/Carne Asada, the Carnitas Quesadilla and Street Dog. Everything was fantastic. I will say that the quesadilla could use a little more cheese but it was still very flavorful, we ate it all up! Glad we came across this place - we will be back for sure! Oh, and the happy hour menu is GREAT.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the margs here. Perfect start to a messy day off for me. The soy chorizo bowl was huge, couldn't finish it but was awesome. I find some soy chorizo tastes funny but that wasn't the case here. Guacamole was perfect, ate it all before I could get a photo. This place was also steps away from where I was staying so it was really convenient. Highly recommend the Monte Carlo to drink- it has chipotle tequila in it.

Yelp
This was our first visit to Loco Pez; our daughter requested going there for her birthday, and we're glad we did. At first blush, it looks like an unassuming corner neighborhood bar, but the food is very good, the drink menu is extensive, and we had a good time. We ordered nachos for the table, and they were generously topped with guacamole, beans, chicken, cheese, jalapenos, and lettuce and tomato. We had four in our party but it could have fed more. We each ordered our entrees. I found my pes (fish) burrito hearty and satisfying. I'm guessing that the fish was tilapia, which I normally don't order but I just wasn't feeling the red meat vibe. Vegetarian/vegan options were available, but I developed a taste for Tex-Mex seafood not only at Buena Onda, near where I used to work, but in South Texas when I was just out of college. Our daughter enjoyed her pork tacos, and the others in our party enjoyed their food too. I'm not a drinker but my daughter enjoyed her margaritas. We'll go back!
