I swung by Callsign Brewery while visiting KC and found that Locozilla is their local kitchen for the weekend.
If you’re a fan of good Hawaiian food that doesn’t need additional condiments then this is definitely the place. I did the Kuala Pork meatballs and they’re crispy on the outside and absolutely melt in your mouth with the right about of smoky flavor. The sauce on top, perfection and the Mac salad was delicious. Let’s be honest, it’s not Hawaiian without the Mac Salad on the side; and when you combine the pork with the Mac, it’s just the perfect combination.
Add in a beer from Callsign, and you definitely won’t go wrong although I will admit their Strawberry Banana Sour is probably my favorite with it. The Mayday Maibock is a close second.
