I don’t even know where to start.
First, the elevator did not work during our stay. Every time we needed to use it, we had to call the front desk so someone could manually send it to our floor. I called more than 10 times in one day and sometimes waited up to an hour. Each time I was told, “We’ll send someone up,” but nothing would happen for a long time. I couldn’t use the stairs because I had a large carrier with me. The front desk staff often seemed unaware of the elevator issue, even though it was clearly affecting every guests.
Second — and even more frustrating — they lost my laundry.
I called the front desk the night before to request laundry pickup. They said they would send someone, but I was not ready at that moment and asked them to come later or in the morning instead. I was told that was fine.
In the morning, my laundry had not been picked up, so I called again before leaving and asked if someone could still pick it up and whether it could be returned the same day. I was told yes, it would be ready between 3–4 PM.
When I returned in the evening, my laundry was not there. I called the front desk several times and was repeatedly told someone would bring it “in a few minutes.” The first time, I waited an hour and someone showed up asking if I needed laundry pickup — not delivery. The second time, I waited another 30 minutes and no one came.
I called again and was put on hold while they “called the team,” then transferred back to the front desk, who told me they never picked up my laundry and that I would need to bring it down myself if I wanted it done. No one had told me this earlier, and I had specifically been told pickup was fine.
When I asked for help tracking what happened to my laundry, I was told a manager would call me the next morning. When I asked for the staff member’s name, she said she “couldn’t deal with me right now,” put me on hold, and played music.
This experience was frustrating and completely unacceptable for a 4-star hotel. Not being able to fix a broken elevator for days and mishandling basic services like laundry is not what guests should expect.
