Google
Great experience! When I saw that this hotel was “pet friendly” I was worried that it might be a problem for someone with allergies. I have honestly never had a cleaner hotel room; it was immaculate! The entire hotel was super clean and comfortable. The location is prime for touring the city with many attractions within walking distance. The beds were comfortable with bedding that was actually warm and comfortable. It’s amazing how often bedding at hotels is thin and insufficient. It was such a pleasure to climb into a bed with a nice full comforter. The staff are friendly and helpful. Just the best experience ever!

Google
Exceptional Stay at Loews Philadelphia for Alpha Phi Alpha Convention I had the pleasure of staying at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel during the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Convention, and I must say—my experience was outstanding. The rooms were not only clean and comfortable but also well-appointed, creating a relaxing environment after long days of events. What truly set this stay apart, however, was the exceptional staff. Every team member I encountered was professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure guests felt welcomed and cared for. I’d like to specifically recognize Teran, Tina, Vanessa, and Kered for their remarkable service and hospitality. They each played a role in making my visit smooth and memorable. Thank you, Loews Philadelphia, for a wonderful experience. I look forward to returning in the future!

Our stay from 7/26 was amazing! Many Restaurants and nightlife just around the corner. The Hotel room and common areas were very clean. The Staff was friendly and accommodating. We sat at the Bar for a snack and some drinks and it was such a nice time! We will definitely come back again!!

Google
I had an absolutely wonderful time here. I’m usually not a fan of staying so close to the city center. However, I was here for a wedding at the hotel. Everything at the hotel was perfect. I used the valet and had zero issues. The concierge and desk personnel were great. The room was clean And fresh. The bar was well staffed with Knowledgeable bartenders with a positive attitude Please. Breakfast was delicious. The evenings festivities at the wedding were top-notch. The staff during the cocktail hour and reception were always professional and diligent to ensure all tasks of the event were accomplished. This hotel is able to conduct events in a very professional manner.

Google
I can’t believe how lucky I was to book this hotel! It is absolutely the best. It’s modern, it’s cool, it’s historic, and it’s mere footsteps from all of the great sights and scenes in downtown Phila. The service is top notch and friendly. The rooms are incredible, maintained well and they’re so spacious and have the most comfortable beds. I would love to stay here any time! I just hope that some day they raise the height of the shower head in the suite bathrooms so that an adult human can use them without crouching. Unbelievable!

I’ve now had a terrible experience with the parking staff at this hotel for the second time. I work as part of a wedding team, and in every other hotel in Philadelphia, when we ask to charge parking to the bride’s room, it’s never a problem — but not here. I went to the front desk and requested a validated parking sticker, which I received. However, the parking attendant still refused to accept it and demanded that I pay. I returned to the front desk, and the staff member kindly came out with me to the parking area to explain that the charge should go to the couple’s room. But the attendant insisted that he had received new instructions and would not accept the sticker since my name was not on the guest list. The front desk agent left to clarify the situation, but in the meantime, the parking attendant was aggressive and forced me to pay. It was an awful experience. I truly don’t understand how this kind of service still exists in 2025. While I was waiting for my car, the front desk agent came back to inform me that I actually shouldn’t have paid. But the parking attendant refused to give me a refund — and even turned off the speaker so I couldn’t say anything further. I would never recommend this hotel for weddings.

Google
It isn't often I get the chance to stay in a 4-star hotel, and Loews did not disappoint. We had a work meeting there this week and the visit was excellent. The bar in the lobby had a great selection of bourbon, and the hotel staff couldn't have been more amazing. They were very good to me! The room was spacious, clean and beautiful with an absolutely perfect view of City Hall being only 1 block away. Our work meetings were on the mezzanine level, and they did a great job hosting us as well! Not sure when I'll get a chance to visit again, but I'd definitely recommend this hotel!!!

Google
Best place to stay in downtown Philly. Customer service was top notch. The valet team was extremely helpful. Housekeeping services excellent- the room was clean and fresh throughout our stay.

Yelp
My husband and I travel to Philly every year for about 5 years. Lowe's was by my favorite. Easy check in, friendly staff. The room was perfect, very clean and comfortable. Definitely recommend the hotel for any one who needs to go away for a

Yelp
A one star hotel masquerading as a 4 star. For the second year in a row, the reservation was mishandled. First they lie and say my friend's reservation doesn't exist. Then they admit it does exist but say my name is not on the reservation. For the second year in a row. The rooms are nothing special. The service is spotty. But the most unforgivable sin is bad service and mishandling the reservation. Having to wait a few hours because they failed their job is inexcusable. Update: An adult helped work it out.

Yelp
Been pleased to stay here when playing in the national chess congress each year with my university teams the rooms are clean and the reservation process is expeditious and smooth. room service is pretty top notch and the overall venue is pretty great for conferences and chess tournaments. great location - close to china town and reading terminal so there are plenty of stores nearby for food and other amenities.

Yelp
We came here to stay here while we stayed in Philly for a night. The hotel is very swanky. However 60 dollars for parking for a day. Bro come on. We met a very nice concierge named Darren or something to that extent. Black dude, very nice. We got our room and went to the 18th floor. The bottom was made of marble. Our floor was secluded. We walked in. The bedroom was very nice. We stayed here just once night. The ac vent rattled until I put multiple to kind of push it. Anyway. Everything was good.

Yelp
I recently stayed here for two nights on a work trip. The hotel is conveniently located in Center City and the area is very walkable. The hotel itself is very nice and checking in was a breeze. They have a bar/lounge/meeting space area that's open. They also have a coffee bar/snack shop on the premises too. I heard they also have a spa but I did not get a chance to check it out unfortunately. My room was great! I had a nice view of the city. The room itself was large for a hotel room and it had high ceilings. I really liked this hotel and would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in town!
google avatar

Yelp
A good experience with a one night stay recently. Staff was friendly. Conveniently located and clean.
google avatar

Pam M.

Yelp
Here now. Comfortable, clean rooms, friendly staff, with a great location and views. The shower water pressure is . The only complaint I have is my room has been so hot (24th floor). My heat has been turned off and it's still 69*. Heads up- parking is expensive. Luckily I was able to Uber to/from the city at a better rate than paying $60 to park per night.

Yelp
A potentially five-star accommodation and experience (centrally located; modern; clean; great views) ruined by 0-star service and bad aftertaste. We got a quiet room (near the end of corridor, away from elevators) on the 27th floor; nice views on the city. Everything was modern and clean. They even offer daily housekeeping without you having to beg. In fact housekeeping staff was super friendly and professional. We ran into her several times on our way out or in. She always asked if we needed anything. Very much appreciate it. Rare these days. Five stars right there. Room had a fridge, tea maker, tea bags, coffee, etc; bathroom is modern and sufficiently big. Nothing ever felt cramped. Views are of course amazing day or night (even in the rain). See my photos. What killed the experience? Well, upon checking out we discovered billing errors, including WiFi charges. We are here for a convention and our rate already included free WiFi (yes we have it in writing). The front desk then removed it, only to have the charge show up again a few days later, how dare they! And: 2 months later: mini bar charges! Not even the same name. Some other guests! How come we have to pay for mini bar consumption by other later guests staying in this same room? Ridiculous. A few phone calls to the hotel's accounting department. Finally resolved it. No real apology. They tried to shrug it off. How can this kind of error even occur? So unprofessional.

Yelp
Stay away from this hotel!!! Not only they have bad customer service, long & messy check-in process & I lost one of my airpod pro, they lie about their facilities! My son was super sad. We were so disappointed with everything that I decided to change hotels during our last day. After the stay, I even emailed the hotel manager Simone White (they gave me this email address for complaints). But for a whole month, I didn't receive a reply. So I am pasting my email here to save your holiday by NOT going here. -------------------------------------------- Dear Ms. White, I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express my disappointment regarding a misleading advertisement related to my recent stay at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel. Before booking my stay 11/30-12/1, I relied on information available on Google and TripAdvisor, which indicated that your property includes a pool. Unfortunately, upon my arrival, I was informed by the front desk that no pool is available. This inconsistency was especially disappointing for my son, who had excitedly changed into his swimsuit and eagerly went to the 5th floor, as the elevator signage stated "Fitness Center/Pools." To then learn from the front desk that no pool exists was a significant letdown for him and for us as a family. I have attached misleading advertisements, including screenshots from online platforms and the photo of the elevator signage, to this email. I kindly request an explanation and a resolution for this issue, as it affected our overall experience. Please let me know how this matter will be addressed. I look forward to your prompt response.

Yelp
I stayed at the Loews for National Black MBA Association Conference! I truly enjoyed my stay! The Loews is conveniently located by everything you'd need. Many department stores, shops, bars, conference center are literally steps away. The customer service here was amazing! Everyone was so nice during my entire week long stay! If I'm ever in Philly again, I definitely will stay here again!!

Yelp
Stayed a week for business. Most everything here is on point. The location can absolutely not be beat if you are here for the Pennsylvania Convention Center. It's literally across the street from it as well as Reading Terminal Market, the Market-Frankfort line runs right outside, and even the Philadelphia Phlash and Double-Decker tour buses stop about a block away. The staff were all friendly and professional and were able to assist with local recommendations. The room was well appointed with outstanding toiletries and extremely comfortable bedding. The public meeting areas were excellent, and every single staff member there were outstanding. The only drawbacks were that the room and public areas were starting to show their age a bit and are probably a bit overdue for a refresh. The gym is beautiful and even feature a steam room and sauna in the locker rooms, but no pool. Finally, the rooms on the lower floors are not well insulated from the considerable noise that comes from outside. I was on the 9th floor in a corner room, and was frequently woken up by the loud engines revving and obnoxious sound systems blaring on Market St. late in the evenings. I'd suggest asking for the highest floor possible. Also, parking on site is extremely expensive, I'd suggest taking public transportation or securing parking at a local garage in the area if possible.

Yelp
Great stay here in downtown Philly. Nice room, riverside is quiet. Other guests on the city side I heard had a lot of noise. Food was good and service was friendly. Overall good experience and would come back if I'm ever in town.

Yelp
Very nice hotel in a great location and prime views! They even provided complimentary champagne for our anniversary. The staff here are friendly and accommodating! Highly recommend staying here!

Yelp
Ass clowns. Deceivingly nice with a great restaurant, but I don't count the restaurant as part of the hotel, especially since it's very upscale as a stand-alone restaurant. I went for a boring work trip, boring conference, 7 hours of sitting in their conference room. So that sucked, but what sucked even more humongous bags of dicks was the parking. $35 is a big ask, but when someone steals your car, you should have it refunded. My boss got his rental car stolen. So they let us have free parking when we went back for dinner, but then they tell us they lost my buddy's keys (he drove us 5 hours here), the worker not giving a fuck in the slightest. Then, low and behold, they bring his car up. So much stress for nothing. I have a feeling this has happened more than once, and it's genuinley so braindead, like, "we took your keys and put them in a lockbox, but we 'lost' them" how the fuck. Infuriating. Side note, the free lunches they gave us were terrible.

Jonathan C.

Yelp
Disappointing. They call themselves pet-friendly. Their website states "Loews Loves Pets" and "Right at check-in, pets receive treats, bowls and place mats. Traveling light? We're happy to provide pet beds, litter boxes, scratching posts, pet toys and more." None of that is true. When I booked, there seemed to be no way to even indicate that I had a pet. I did put in some notes in the special requests section, but they ignored that. When I got to the room with my cat, there were no pet supplies at all. I asked for some cat supplies again. They brought some litter but they were out of litter boxes. Fortunately, I had a foldable travel litter box with me. The litter they had was paper litter, which cats don't usually like. No treats, scratching posts, toys, etc. They charge a $40 fee for pets. So $40 for a few dollars worth of litter. There are lots of strange restrictions for pets. If you read the fine print, not all of their rooms allow pets. You'd have to be very careful about how you book; otherwise you may not be allowed in. There's a $25 fee for leaving your pet in your room alone. Elevators are slow. Some hidden fees. I got an unexpected minibar charge. Their website made no mention of a minibar. I guess it would be the in-room coffee. $17 for a cup of coffee I made myself.

Yelp
Came here on a Wednesday around 6:30. Beautiful bar area and beautiful lounge area with cozy seating. I ordered a vodka martini and it was delicious. Very nice atmosphere and hotel is gorgeous! Perfect place for date night or if you are meeting a co-worker. They have happy hour specials too which is always a plus.

Yelp
Comfortable hotel stay in Philadelphia. Our room was clean, smelled pleasant, and was spacious. Everything that we used in our room worked correctly. Although we could hear a bit of noise from the street, we slept well and heard no noise from adjacent rooms. Check-in and check-out were both quick and painless. I would recommend the Loews Philadelphia hotel if you plan to stay in this part of Philadelphia.
google avatar

Ted J.

Yelp
Beautiful downtown hotel near the Reading Shops. Lots of restaurants nearby in walking distance. Near the trains and subways too. The perfect location. Staff is really nice. Warning! They no longer have a pool! So if that's part of the draw for you, this is not the place But the workout room is excellent. I would say second to none

Kathryn W.

Yelp
I arrived really late at night and I was given a free upgrade to the room right across from the Presidential Suite. It even had a cheese plate. I have never received service like this so I was very impressed. Charlotte in housekeeping was so friendly. I would love to visit again. The desk was very nice. Comfy bed. Nice size bathroom.
google avatar

Donna H.

Yelp
Nice room, courteous staff, conveniently located near many restaurants and attractions, valet parking. We enjoyed our stay!
google avatar

Cathy G.

Yelp
The location was excellent and the desk staff and concierge were helpful. Unfortunately the room temperature was impossible to control. We walked into a hot room, the bellman offered to adjust the thermostat, but the room never got cool. When the only bedding option is a duvet, not being able to adjust the room temperature becomes a real issue. If you enjoy "grandma's livingroom" temperature for bedtime, with a sleeping bag, this place is for you!

Shevon B.

Yelp
horrible experience...purposely arrived after check-in to avoid waiting just to learn the room was not available....3 hours later an still no room. The staff provided no estimate of when the room would be ready, unapologetic about the delay, and did nothing to remedy the situation. The manager Zach had a cold demeanor and did not care when I shared that we had plans in an hour, thus needed to check-in sooner than later. Would NOT recommend!
google avatar

Shelly J.

Yelp
I am now a fan of Loews hotel chain. Of all the hotels in Philly, this one makes the mark. It has a more modern appeal than the other chains. It doesn't break bank either. And close to Reading Market and other cool touristy spots in Philly. Like Chinatown and the Art Museum. I'm all for good customer service, and here they definitely give you that Brotherly love that Philly is known for. My room was nice and cozy. My bed was nice and cozy and the towels did not scratch my skin! They actually use quality towels and not the cheap crap from Amazon or Walmart. My view was mehh. But I didn't come to Philly to look out my window. The room has updated modern look and doesn't look cheap. Very nice lobby and bar if you need to unwind before going back to your room I definitely will check out this chain first when I'm in other cities.

Yelp
UPDATE (Sept 3, 2023): Lester called me and explained that the charge was accidentally added back to my bill after he disputed it. He has corrected it, and sent me an updated bill - where it indicates I should be receiveing a refund. I SO MUCH appreciate Lester's professionalism and putting customer first, and for his help not only the first time when I checked out, but also following up on the phone with me today to resolve the issue. Applause to him.
google avatar

Yelp
Pros - Price and location. Close to Reading Terminal, City Hall, Chinatown, etc. Friendly staff. Cons - room needs a fridge. Layout of our room was a bit bizarre (tv was to the left of the bed instead of in front), the duvet opening facing our head so I could see the dirty down blanket inside. I'm sure no blankets are perfectly clean but I'd rather be oblivious to that fact.

Yelp
We had a 3 night stay at this hotel over the weekend during a large family wedding. The hotel itself is nice and I love that they share the history of the FSPS building it used to be prior to renovations. Details of my rating below: Pros - convenience and proximity to dining, shopping, attractions can't be beat; staff was friendly; rooms were spacious and well-lit with lots of storage; housekeeping was quickly responsive to requests for towels; Cons - the wait for the elevators was ridiculously long leading to crowded elevators, it seemed like there were only a few working ones and it seemed to be a common complaint among all the guests we spoke to; We ran into another hotel guest who said it was the same problems with the elevators when she stayed there a year ago; the water in our bathroom took forever to heat up and never fully got hot; not enough outlets near the bed; we pulled up the sofa chair cushion in our room and it was disgusting underneath - makes me question how well the rest of the room is being cleaned; the AC in our room did not cool properly - at night the room became stuffy even after setting it to 65. Overall, for such an expensive stay, the slow elevator system alone is enough to make me choose another hotel next time I visit. Hopefully they can get it together because the property is convenient and nice.
google avatar

Alexis R.

Yelp
Last time we will ever stay there. We got the presidential suite on Halloween weekend , decided to have 2 friends over , at 3am we get a knock from security threatening to kick us all out and spoke down to us like we weren't adults. The whole place needs to be updated , and if we pay for the presidential suite , we should be able to play our music and tv ... Never again will we spent a cent in this establishment.

Yelp
When I stay at a hotel, there's always something off about the experience that I don't love. The Loews Philadelphia Hotel is my favorite hotel stay, hands down, of recent memory! Reasons to love the Loews: + Convenient location in the heart of downtown Philly. Right near City Hall, Reading Terminal Market and a 10 minute walk to the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. + Friendly front desk staffers who made check-in a breeze. + Stunning space - this is an old bank and they have the original marble flooring outside the elevators. + Clean and spacious rooms with comfy bed and pillows and a lovely bathroom. Not to mention the views of the city! + 24 hour room service. I did not use this service but it was great to know it was available. + An in-hotel restaurant, Bank and Bourbon. Great spot for appetizers and drinks, though they do have a full menu. Shoutout to Kevin and Jasmine for the warm welcome night one of our conference and giving us local suggestions on things to do and see! + The conference spaces were spacious and nice, albeit chilly at times. Loved the food provided and we didn't have many tech issues during presentations. All in all, a great space for a conference or overnight stay in Philly!

Darren B.

Yelp
Upon checking into my room I discovered a previous guest left clothes in the room. I advised both a porter and the on line text service of this fact. 6 hours later, the clothes remained in my room. I've heard others say they had similar experiences. It makes me wonder what else was ignored??

Yelp
We staying at this hotel over Mother's Day weekend after our day spent at Sesame Place. We have 2 kids, 3 yr old and 2 month old, I had my Husband call 30ish mins before we got to the hotel bc kids needed baths and feedings asap! They said the room would be ready when we got there. I also needed to feed or pump so there was no room for delay. As we got to the hotel my Husband went in and checked in. Shortly he came out saying that the hot water isn't working and it's a city issue. We were not aware of this until we checked in and we had the option to cancel and go somewhere but given the situation we were in with the kids, we didn't know where else to go. I am upset this was not shared when we called 30 mins prior to getting to the hotel or even earlier in the day as the water issue occurred at 11am. I don't think this hotel is a 4.5 star hotel as it has been rated as such. Not bc of the water issue but overall. The TV channels were limited and option to pay for better channels. Also the TV and system is a bit outdated for a high star hotel, most hotels these days allow you to connect to subscribers with smart tv access. Also, the main reason why I felt this was not as great as I expected it was the bathroom. The shower is outdated! I was looking forward to a nice shower with a high quality shower head. Not the case! Was super bummed about that. The water eventually came on middle of the night around 2-3am. But we all went to bed with no shower after a long day at the park. I was suppose to get a call from the manager but never got one and when I checked out If was given the same story of it's the city issue and we couldn't do anything but really you could have called in advance considering we didn't check in until 6pm! Husband ordered room service for bfast and it was good, we also had a crib in the room and they gave a travel kit of essentials for baby by Hello which was nice. Husband and I were both disappointed about this hotel. I think maybe call ahead to make sure you get what you will be paying for at this place.

Yelp
My friend and I were visiting Philadelphia for the weekend for a conference at the nearby convention center. We were booking a hotel relatively last minute, and Loews Hotel had a good weekend deal on their website. The deal provided free parking and several vouchers for museum tickets and restaurants-- perfect for those visiting Philly for a weekend trip! Our experience at the Loews was exceptional, and we had a great time. The hotel was modern and updated, and the room was absolutely beautiful. We had a wonderful view of the city too! Customer service at the Loews went above and beyond my expectations. From the day we arrived, they were very warm and welcoming. Even when I accidentally left some items behind in the room, they shipped them free of charge back to me without delay! I also enjoyed the fitness center which was spacious and equipped with Peloton bikes, weights, and all the equipment you would need for a good workout. I highly recommend the Loews for anyone who wants to stay at a hotel that's walking distance from the convention center. While the Marriott across the street is conveniently attached to the convention center itself, Loews offers a hip, modern, new alternative at the same price!

Yelp
Easy to get a room online and check in was quick and efficient. Plenty of social distance protocols in place and plexiglass where needed. Lots of elevators with the proper signage. The room was spacious and beautiful. The view we got was gorgeous especially at night since it was a corner room. The bed was comfy. Shower and bathroom were out of a decor magazine. We got drinks downstairs at the bar before going to bed and the bartender was great. I absolutely adored him. No parking included, which is common in Philadelphia right in the city. There is a garage attached for a daily fee. Nice hotel in the heart of the city for sure.

Yelp
My son's wedding reception and day after brunch were held there this past weekend. Several guests booked rooms. Everything was great. From the rooms, to the food, to the professionalism. And the staff - they went over and beyond; a true credit to their profession and employer. Would recommend the Loews in a heartbeat!

Yelp
A very nice hotel located down the street from Reading Terminal. I had a conference here on the 33rd floor (see my photo, the views were breath-taking). Easy access, drove right in and the the valet parking is $49/overnight. I arrived at 8am, and you can keep you car until the next day until 5pm. There is a coffee shop and a restaurant/bar located in the hotel if you need some food resuscitation at some point. The conference had great food, which was surprising since we know catered food can be a gassy/GI nightmare. No issues at all...and I ate everything possible to keep myself awake during the meeting. For the hotel room, nice layout of large bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and there is a nice desk option by the window. There is a keurig machine for a quick pick-me-up and free wifi. I didn't see a mini fridge in my room though. Check-in was relatively easy, the only thing that is a little confusing is the million elevators they have. Some elevators do not go to certain floors. Just be warned Loew's can have many events at once, and when I was there there were three weddings. Everyone arrived when I checked-in, but the staff was very efficient and the check-in line went by quickly.

Yelp
I'm always wary of chain hotels. I prefer the familial approach of boutiques. Checking in at 11 am on a Saturday, I was quickly greeted cordially and professionally by Sherri. She was bubbly and informative. And, though I was early, she spoke my favorite Hotel words - "your room is ready." I was ideally placed at the farthest end from the elevator bank, in a quiet alcove. The halls were silent from check in to check out. But, the surrounding area, mostly due to election issues, was quite noisy, even on the 20th floor. The room was spacious with an open lay out. Bed was reasonably comfortable. The bathroom was well-stocked with soaps, shampoos and towels. However, (1) the toilet did not flush properly; and, (2) the bathroom floors were not adequately mopped with visible residual watermarks. My next unfortunate observation is the surrounding grounds. Transients at the door way, most smoking and requiring I traverse a gauntlet cloud of cigarette smoke on entry and exit. Finally, I checked out shortly before 9 am. My flight is not scheduled until 8 pm. As I exited, I asked to check my bags. But, the desk is declining to hold bags. A substantial inconvenience. On my next local visit, I will likely exercise an alternate option.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I stayed in the Loews Hotel during the American Historical Association conference back in January 2023. This has to be the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in. It was so comfortable and clean with a location that made it easy to walk to the places we visited in the city as well as attend the conference, which was hosted both in the Loews and the Marriot across the street. I grabbed a quick meal at Bank & Bourbon one night and had a fantastic burger with some nice Riesling wine. My only complaint was that the valet parking staff couldn't find my car when I went to leave, instead bringing me a completely different vehicle. Eventually, after watching a few people who came in after me all get their vehicles and leave, I offered to walk them to where I saw them park my car a few days before just so we could get on the road. Otherwise, a good visit.

Yelp
On a whim I really wanted a Philly cheesesteak lol. So guess what I got in my car got on hotel tonight and found this cute upscale hotel. The hotel is situated right downtown and easy to get to. However there is no nearby parking so valet parking is your best bet. Parking was an additional $55 dollars but honestly most hotels in the area had a parking fee. Check in was pretty much smooth a lot of the amenities were suspended of course due to Covid. That didn't stop business , the hotel was still bustling. People were respectful and everyone had on mask and maintained their distance. What I like the most is that you are super close to pretty much everything fun in philly , quick car rides or walkable. You have options for UberEats , Doordash and more. I wish I had more pictures of how gorgeous this hotel room was. Super clean , very bright and cozy. Comfortable bedding. Won't hesitate to stat here again.

Yelp
Positive experience here. I was in Philadelphia for a business meeting. Since I arrived a lot later than I was scheduled, and was extremely exhausted, I decided to stay for the evening. I arrived at almost 10PM, the lobby was busy was people dining and drinking, but the staff was extremely friendly. The room itself was pretty cool, I would say on the small side, but suited me just fine for the evening. There was a comfortable bed-- the pillows weren't so great and a lack of good tv channels, but those are small things. I appreciated the staff immensely because I asked several questions about where various places (where the locals go for a good cheesesteak, a Macy's location, so I could get a few clothing items, also a Target, which I saw was also nearby) they went above and beyond in assisting me. I would stay here again, as the location was pretty good, and seemed to be centrally located in the city of Philadelphia. Check out time is 11, but they granted me an extra hour, due to me having to run errands before departure.

Yelp
This is a solid, standard hotel in a great location (amazing centrality & walkability). Rooms are more than adequate, the restaurant is nice. What makes this place stand out is the SERVICE; everyone who works here is professional and helpful. I would especially like to shout out Isabel who really made my stay.

Yelp
I was placed here by AMX for my son visit to Penn. The place looks s absolutely disgusting!!! During the COVID time such disaster as far as sanitation. Also if you are planning to stay here for Biz and travel late remember there is no room service or any type of food available here after 9 30 PM. We tried walking a couple of blocks and there was gang and homeless fights all over. The convenient shop next to hotel got in to major homeless, gang fight right in front of our eyes. Please review attached pictures.

Yelp
GORGEOUS Hotel. This is one of the only hotels I've been too that wasn't ugly and void of all life. This is a vibrantly colored hotel. It was so cozy and I didn't want to leave. Don't stay here if you like ugly, colorless, characterless hotels.

Yelp
Found a fantastic package deal thru visitphilly website, so took advantage for our birthday and spent the night in the city. Overnight parking and a BOGO offer to the Barnes Foundation. You just need to take the 15 minute walk to the visitor's center to redeem. This is a very busy hotel, but it is spacious with a large bar in the lobby. Despite the request to wear masks inside, it's only about 50% of folks following the mandate, but all staff inside and out were respectful and wearing them everywhere. A few requests were ignored thru the reservation process, but there is a text # to contact the front desk and they are quick to respond. Online check-in did not work for us, so we checked in at the front desk and they were very helpful. Conveniently located on Market Street between 12th and 13th, so you can walk to so many places. FYI, you'll probably see a large wedding party staying here during your visit. Just a very popular and classy spot. Valet only for the parking garage, but they were very quick to retrieve your vehicle for check out or just if you need to put some things back in the vehicle without departing. Would stay again.

Yelp
This was my third time staying here, and I appreciate the smart renovation of the PSFS building more each time. The modernist theme is beautifully executed with white Eames office chairs, high-quality linens, excellent (if unflattering) light in the bathroom, and a top-notch LG flat screen TV. They even sanitize the remote control and encase it in plastic.

Yelp
We booked a random weekend since we wanted to get out the city , deciding factor for this hotel was location , price & the pool being available. Once checked in we settled into our room #720 nicely , great bed & very nice toiletries to use. The hotel has a nice lobby bar that's open till 2am which came in handy our weekend since all the restaurants near by close 10-11pm. The pool provided great relief during our time since it was nice to relax & spend time in. We got a late check out which was easy to obtain, staff was nice & attentive. Pool area was perfect To kill some time they have ladies & men locker rooms available which we used to wash up before leaving, nice area , clean , great toiletries to use. My only complaint here is outside the hotel the city area is not very pleasant there is a lot of closed businesses in the area which makes walking around a bit unpleasant. Aside from the outside city area , our stay at the hotel was enjoyable.

Yelp
My husband and I had our large Indian wedding at Loews just a month ago. From top to bottom, I could not recommend this venue more. Let's start with the fact that we booked this venue before the pandemic. They handled the need for rescheduling so gracefully, permitting us to move our date without hassle or obstacle. We initially worked with Andrea, then Craig, and then Huajia- over what approached two years to make our dream wedding come true. They each responded diligently, never leaving a question unanswered and never leaving us uncomfortable. I have so many friends who were getting married around the same time and they all had difficulties with their venue in the face of the pandemic. We did not. Loews Philadelphia stood up to the challenge and helped us move forward, they ensured to us that all would be okay. Our saving grace, ultimately, became Huajia who became involved with our wedding a few months before the date. She became the person I didn't realize I needed but - was who I needed. Someone who knew the hotel in and out, every square foot- she made every request, dream, hope, and worry her sole priority . She made our dreams come true. She worked with our vendors day in and day out to make sure the visions we had didn't just remain as visions. She responded to me at all hours, knowing that even a word from her when I was unsure about something would be so much to me. Our families could only rave about Loews, along with the hundreds of extended friends and family we had at the event. If I could have a wedding every year- this is where it would be. The staff, the service, the venue, and the commitment are indescribable. They are luxury with the face of familiarity, approachability, and compassion. Love to this team and this hotel - always always and always!

Yelp
I got to the hotel around 3 pm and stayed their for a night for a wedding we stayed on the 24th floor so the view was very nice. The room was huge and their were two large windows that overlooked the city of Philadelphia. The bathroom was also very nice it was a marble floor and their was a square toilet. The robes they had in the closet were very nice too it was a soft and furry robe which was warm and nice after a shower. The service was great too they were very nice throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this and I also would stay here again.

Yelp
We had a very nice stay at Loews Philadelphia over the Labor Day Weekend. The location is perfect, close to Reading Terminal Market, restaurants, center city, and provides easy access to the other Philly sites! I found the cost per night for a weekend stay to be more affordable than many other hotels in the city and also in the surrounding areas outside the city. Our room was very spacious, clean, and well equipped. I was impressed with the overall size of the bathroom and the comfortableness of the bed! I was very pleased with how quiet the hotel floor was at night, even though the hotel was full that weekend, which contributed to the relaxing atmosphere and sleep in the room. We ordered coffee service the night before for the following morning, as we often do at many places we stay. The presentation of the coffee tray was reflective of the high quality of hotel Loews exhibits. In addition to the coffee setting, glasses of ice water were part of the service and the waitperson, who delivered the coffee, was very friendly, professional and helped to start our morning off on a positive note! The only reason I did not give the last star in the rating was due to the cost of parking. Parking at the hotel is valet only and they charge $49+ per night for guests staying at the hotel, which I find outrageous. Instead of paying this price, we used Parking Panda to locate a parking garage, one block away for only $24 per 24 hours! I don't mind walking a block or two to park if it's only going to cost half the price of the hotel. I do recommend the Loews Philadelphia and plan to stay here in the future!

Yelp
Room was okay. We were here for a show with family and supposed to block off a lot of rooms. My mom, dad, sister and I had to stay at the Hilton because the Loews Hotel "couldn't find our reservation" My aunt and uncles room wasn't ready for 45 minutes. I expected better.

Yelp
I stayed for a business meeting and it is beautiful! Check in was super simple and staff was helpful and quick. I got there early and luckily my room was ready. The room, a deluxe king, was spacious and bright. If it weren't for my meetings, I would be snuggled in the king sized bed! Great view as well. It is located in Center City, quite literally in the middle of everything. Restaurants everywhere and a quick ride to the train station. I would definitely stay again. Only complaint - the room was FREEZING and the heat took forever to come on!
