I’m not vegan but I heard good things and see them at the farmers market so I had to try it! They make their own ice cream fresh on Mondays so get it close to then! The Brookie (brownie + cookie) didn’t taste that different from a non-vegan one and filled that chocolate craving. The Ube ice cream was very good too! They even have other vegan products like soap and candy. It’s a cool spot!

Amazing plant based ice cream and regular food including baked goods and sandwiches, also various vegan groceries and cute products. Open mic every Thursday evening, the owner is a musician. Nice outdoor seating in the summer. I love the Matcha scones, very addictive! Wonderful atmosphere, nice play area set up for toddlers. Totally relaxed and chill vibe for hanging out. Right next to Logan Square Park. Very lucky to have this spot in my neighborhood. I forgot to take pictures earlier but here is one of the Matcha scones!

Great flavor but simple if you’re looking for a great shake! Chocolate girl and the Ube was yum. They have chocolate chip cookies. Brownies and other lil things to snack on but they don’t add in to shake, simple and clean.

I had the most divine chickpea salad sandwich with a sparkle of dill-- simple comfort food. I am not even vegan or vegetarian--- just an adventurous eater who wants to support local eateries. Then, I was gifted a sample of a strawberry milkshake. Incredibly smooth, satisfying, without the lactose guilty after-math. After tasting & hearing about the process of vegan gelato style ice cream, I had to try more. I ordered the affogato and was spinning in caffienated heaven. Vanilla ice cream was pure bliss. Just the perfect stay cation lunch experience. Try everything in this cozy atmosphere. I can't wait to return.

Excellent vegan donuts. My London Fog was delicious. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, albeit a bit small. It's a very cozy place to be on a cold day.

Reviews were raving and I needed my vegan ice cream fix. Had one of their ice cream sandwiches and loved it! Small batch ice cream places, especially vegan, is a rare wonder to have. Lots of places to sit and feel comfortable too. Coffee is a 10/10 and prices are extremely great.

The ice cream and pastry were delicious! But the customer service was a bit off. I was really hot that day so I totally blanked after the cashier told me the available ice cream flavors, I felt bad that I asked for Ube when she had just listed off the available ones and that wasn't one. I apologized for not hearing her - I wasn't used to Chicago summer heat and was in here to get something cold. Cookies and cream tasted great though! But she gave me a bit of attitude after. I thought I had also ordered tea but it's possible I forgot to ask for it, but I felt awkward to have to go up to her again since she seemed annoyed. I then saw and heard her being EXCEPTIONALLY nice to two separate men who were in the café after treating me lukewarm

I liked that it is 💯 percent vegan. The donut was delicious. The brownie was ok, it was served cold. I liked the ice cream and milkshake but 3 of my family members and I had a stomach ache and had to run to the bathroom shortly after, I am guessing it was due to the ice cream since that is what we all ate.

Such yummy vegan ice cream! We tried the mint chip and cookies and cream flavors, both were delicious! They were very creamy and the cones were also awesome, they had a unique flavor that we really enjoyed. We look forward to coming back!

I really really like this place. Walking in, it gives you a space to breath and just relax with its plenty of seating options and relaxing atmosphere. They have a wide array of items from donuts to muffins to brownies to ice cream. They also have a little shop were you can buy vegan based groceries like oil and other items. I tried the chocolate old fashioned donut there and it was SO good. I'd love to come back to try more things from the menu!

Always great to stumble across a new vegan business in Chicago! Logan Vegan makes pop-up appearances at events occasionally, so I was lucky to try their ice cream at a recent art fair. I was really impressed by the wide variety of options they offered from burgers to hot dogs, funnel cakes, and more. On this hot day outside though, the ube ice cream was calling out to me- it's always a treat to see this less widely offered flavor available. It was super creamy with a strong ube flavor, beautiful purple color, and the perfect sweetness. Hints of coconut cream complemented the flavor well. I definitely plan to pay a storefront visit soon to try other menu items and hopefully catch one of their live music events!

I stopped in mid-afternoon looking for a snack. I was recommended the chickpea salad ($6 plus tax) -- a vegan version of a tuna salad. It was a bit under-salted and lacking flavour, but the textures were nice (smashed chickpea, celery, red onion) and the dill was nice in there. Pretty underwhelming, but not too bad for the price. I'm sure I'd like their other stuff better, but judged off what I ordered, this was simply OK.

Great atmosphere and tons of vegan goodness. They carry a variety of snacks and other products that are fun to peruse. The Ube is my favorite ice cream flavor--it's creamy and satisfying. Margaret helped us out when we popped in and was knowledgeable and friendly. I've yet to try their savory offerings but will be back!

Logan vegan is a great spot that has ice cream, breakfast items, baked goods and a mini mart. Everything is 100% vegan. I tried their breakfast sandwich and it was delicious. I haven't tried their ice cream yet but definitely will come back. They have a seating area and street parking is available.

Small shop with some grocery items to choose from along with savory bites and desserts. The ice cream is made in house. There was not a lot of people in there when I was there, but looked comfortable. The person working was friendly and quick to help.

The ice cream is creamy, tasty, and luscious. So that's the first reason to go there. They have a new wonderful purple ube flavor (but my old stand-by flavor is mint chip). If you do the sundae, the vanilla ice cream is delicious. I've also tried the brownies and cookies and they are melt-in-your-mouth wonderful. I went here the first week it opened. Since then, they have been adding menu items. My favorite is the chickpea salad and sandwich on sourdough bread. Everything has been good. More choices please! They also added comfortable furniture and plants. It's a welcoming atmosphere where people spend time and hang out. The owner and staff are good people and truly talk to patrons. There's no hipster vibe or snobby food vibe. Because of this, the customers often talk to each other. I find that to be a rare quality around Logan Square. Suggestion to Logan Vegan: It would be fantastic to have a range of soups in the winter. Then we could make a meal of hot soup and ice cream. You also need some hot sauce around for those of us who like to spice up our sandwiches and soup.

Cool little cafe in Logan Square is a description of many places, but this is an apt one for here. It has everything from breakfast to ice cream, and has a few groceries if you need any ingredients. Logan Vegan is among the new all plant based restaurants. Has a case full of doughnuts, muffins, and more. The prices are pretty good for this kind of place. After hearing about it awhile ago, I was around it one morning and came in at breakfast. It has a kind of limited menu but plenty in the way of plant based options. The breakfast items are the best of these. Get a doughnut or a few. There's also a few sandwiches made to order. I got a Breakfast Sandwich because it was still in the morning of course. It's $7 which is the among the cheapest for a sandwich around here. This however is the size of an Egg McMuffin. Even so, it's also filling. This has Good Planet vegan cheddar, Impossible sausage, and Just Egg on an English muffin. Get here at breakfast, lunch, and any time it's open to get something plant based. It's a cafe that's also a grocery store with some things like noodles and spices. The whole menu of course is okay for vegans.

This place is so awesome my daughter enjoyed their vegan ice cream and it was great having a conversation with the owner. We will definitely be going back as often as we can. Can't wait to try their sandwiches and coffee. I'm sure they are great given the attention to detailthat I've noticed purchasing more than happy to support local business. It's great things keep up the good work.

By chance I stopped by this hidden gem in Logan Square .... What AMAZING ice cream and it's vegan !!! Beats any trending ice cream brand hand down... met the owner John who makes these flavors by hand with all natural ingredients !!! Bravo and can't wait to come back with friends

We tried a few of their ice cream options. It wasn't the best we've had, but certainly not the worst. Our favorite flavor was the Ube. The furniture has seen better days though and the seating area needs a good scrub.

Love love love everything! The savory stuff is so great, and don't sleep on it while you're grabbing your delicious sweet treats. (The sweet treats are soooo good!) Wish there was a sixth star. Love.

We went for ice cream last night. The vegan ice cream was fantastic. It just so happened we stumbled into open mic night. We had such a great time enjoying it that we ended up staying till the end of the night. Can't wait to go back.

This place is really cool to start. Walking in, I enjoyed the chill vibes, the design and layout was simple but nice, and I like how you can chill and read there too. I grabbed some snacks and 2 pints of ice cream. The Ube ice cream was good. I'm newly vegan, and I have to say getting good ice cream was a worry, but there's is homemade and has a really good texture too. I think it had a slight undertone of a taste I couldn't describe, but it's still an 8.5 out if 10 compared to regular Ube ice cream. I'm also SUPER picky about ice cream so that's really good. The vegan Oreo ice cream is a solid 9 to me. The guy who runs the shop was really friendly, easy to talk to, and it's great having mom and pop shops like this in the community. I would share picks but we ate everything in one night

Great business. The owner John has great customer service. I ordered the White Chocolate Peppermint Vegan ice cream and the consistency was really good. If you know how vegan ice cream can be a hit or miss, trust me when I tell you, this place is a perfect hit. I will be returning with my friends again.

I met the Logan Vegan team at a scratch Kitchen pop up a few months ago. I still think about this ice cream everyday. I haven't found Vegan ice cream this good anywhere else. I'm not a Chicago local but I'm planning my next trip back to Chicago just so I can get more of the purple ice cream.

Another customer and I were in shock at how very s l o w the service is. I asked for two things that they did not have then was recommended a grilled cheese with soup combo. It took 45 min!!! Then the grilled cheese with sourdough bread was super salty! How do you get a grilled cheese wrong!!!

Awesome vegan ice cream for vegans and non vegans! Every flavor is great and you can tell a lot of love and time has been put into creating each batch. Seriously addicting! They also offer many other great treats including cookies, brownies, donuts, muffins etc. Super laid back and friendly customer service. One of the best new additions to the neighborhood!

The owner didn't have a welcome attitude and the cashier had a strange vibe. The tuna chickpea sandwich wasn't good no tomatoes or greens. It was just very heated bread and plain chickpea with celery and onions.

Their vegan breakfast sandwich with vegan cheese egg and sausage was amazing! I ordered it with Uber eats and I will definitely eat there again

Vegan coconut-milk-based ice cream.. I had the chocolate and it is delicious! Great to walk into an ice cream shop where vegans can have everything! I'll be back to work through all the flavors.

The ice cream selection is limited but they have lunch and drink options as well. All of the toppings are vegan, too.

The best non-store bought vegan ice cream I've had so far! I got the vanilla and strawberry They even had live music today.

Surprised they don't have more reviews than this. I truly appreciate having a go to place for ice cream especially the strawberry ice cream in a cup with broken waffle cone on top. My favorite! Wishing them continued success :)

I was absolutely overjoyed to hear there was a fully vegan spot opening up near my workplace. My first visit in I got to meet John. He was so kind and patient. He talks about Logan Vegan in such an inspiring way, it made me want to continue to come back. At this point I've visited atleast 7x in the last 3 months. The ube ice cream is amaze-balls. Their breakfast sandwich is fire, don't forget to ask for the garlic spread (who wants a dry sando?) Their coffee is great with or without oat milk! I've also gotten their mushroom coffee to go and I literally have no complaints. I do half mushroom coffee and bustelo in the morning to give me that kick. All of their disposables are eco friendly (Insert crying emoji). I have told all my friends and family about this place, it needs to stick around!!!! The only criticism I would give is general cleanliness in the lounge area. The floor could use a good scrub and the furniture looks like maybe they let dogs that just came from the park hang out? Either way those things can be fixed easily.

You should come here! This was my first time at Logan Vegan. The mint chip and strawberry ice cream are delicious. Both flavors are creamy and flavorful. All of their ice cream is made in house. The owner is very friendly and informative. There are multiple places to sit and enjoy your treats. It's a comfy vibe. I will definitely be back!

Stopped at Logan Vegan yesterday for ice cream. This was my third visit- always for ice cream. It is shocking how creamy the ice cream is given that there is no dairy in it. No flavor is bad. Highly recommend the mint chocolate chip, though. There are lots of other fun packaged vegan goodies for purchase and other logan finds like candles, bamboo personal care items and more.

This place has the coolest vibe going on, with vegan ice cream, vegan food, and an assortment of local vegan goods, you can't beat Logan vegan

i got ice cream here and it tasted really weird. there is way better vegan ice cream in chicago than here. it's pricey too but that wouldn't be such a big deal if the ice cream was good.
