"The Londis on Fountayne Road in Stoke Newington is not just another Londis. Family-run since the late 1970s and now run by Priyesh and Alpesh Patel, it serves excellent Gujarati dishes alongside the more traditional off-license goods. The takeaway menu, announced on social media, changes regularly and may feature the likes of methi malai paneer, baingan bharta, chai-spiced tiramisu, Bombay mix made with shredded wheat, corn flakes, and Cheerios; and truly outstanding vada pav with smashed potato sandwiched by dry coconut, chilli and garlic chutney on one side of the bun and coriander and garlic chutney on the other." - Jonathan Hatchman

I really like this place. I first came here for the curries, which are delicious and amply spiced. They also have quite a nice selection of beers, including several from the best brewery in Europe, The Kernel. This place also has six-packs of Pilsner Urquell cans, which, I can tell you, is not something you can find everywhere. The prices on the beer and curry are quite good I think. I haven’t really shopped for other items here. I’ve found the staff to be friendly. I recommend this place to friends and I’ll definitely keep coming back myself.

This is a great local shop with a wide range. The owners are great and very helpful. They do home cooked vegetarian curry twice a week - which are brilliant.

Super easy UPS access point! MASSIVE bonus is they do home-made indian foods that are so delicious. I just bought their mango pickle and it is the best I have ever had. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Nice selection of veg outside and inside (be careful in the summer, because the stuff outside sits in the sun). They do home made fresh curry dishes on certain days. Staff are great, collect plus is well organized and they have doggy parking outside (just a hook on a wall)

Corner shop you can dream of. Run by super friendly family. Always helpful, always nice and smiling. Making home made indian food, snacks and desserts which are super tasty and you can’t get anything similar anywhere else. I will always come back. Thank you guys for great energy and delicious food!
