The 18 Best Farmers Markets In LA

"Long Beach has a whole network of farmers markets across the city, but the largest and most popular one takes place every Sunday at the Alamitos Bay Marina. You’ll find more than 40 vendors, including big-name local growers like Weiser Family Farms, Tenerelli Orchards, and Bautista Organic Date Ranch, plus prepared fresh seafood from Wild Local Seafood and baked goods from Colossus Bakery. Parking can be tricky but plan on taking a stroll around the marina park and enjoying the great bay views afterward. Open Sunday, 9am-2pm." - sylvio martins, garrett snyder

Great market to find your favorite veggies, flowers and organic juices. There are vendors that prepare all kinds of hot food to enjoy as well. Don't forget to stop by and take a listen to "the Chillbillies ". An acoustic trio that performs every Sunday playing bluegrass, old jazz, and rock tunes.

Very nice vendors. Everything so far is way above par. Fresh vegetables and fruit last far longer than the grocery store. They match EBT up to 20.$ As a poor, very choosy eater, I'm totally Sold. My favorite day of the week 😄 I'm talking about the Marina farmers market where all the boats are. The sprouts are AMAZING. I never liked them before. Avocados, lettuce, seasonings, fish, TOMATOES, TOMATOES, TOMATOES!!!!!. Carrots are quite sweet, YAMS! Make sure you wrap the purple and white ones when you bake them, or they turn out dry. I truly love it. Oranges!!!!!! You can buy a flat and have fresh juice all week. For 6-7 $ HELLO 😁

I am all in for local and zero waste shopping but i felt this place can be a rip off! I was charged $29 total for a 3 basket strawberries pack and 2 asparagus by Blessed farms. That asparagus was supposed to be $5 and Strawberries at $12 if i remember. Clearly some error in what was charged to my card by the blessed farm vendor. Sorry no receipt was given. I find my whole shopping experience a bit expensive; for reference i paid $8 for dozen pasture raised eggs by Don Betos farm. Its better to carry some cash as many vendors have a certain minimum to accept cards.

Like going to this place for fresh seasonal veggies. They also have vegan cheeses, fresh breads, small batch pickled veggies and other various vendors. Try the tamales here. They're the best.

My boyfriend and I are frequent visitors of this farmers market. Weekly orders of amazing farm raised eggs, strawberries and produce. The orange juice is to die for! Plenty of parking if you get there early enough, but even if you’re a little later these parking in the back. Great variety of vendors who come back weekly, if feels like we’ve made friends with the vendors we frequent :) Across the street from the LB promenade, it’s a perfect place to spend your morning/afternoon.

So many great local vendors! Fresh bread from Colossus, mushrooms from Long Beach Mushrooms, coffee from Nevaeh, vegan cheese and tofu from Ethikli, and of course refillable dish soap, laundry soap, and other essentials available from BYO!

Beautiful produce, knowledgeable farmers proud of their food. Great location. Picked up lots of produce for a dinner salad, fruit for snacking and delish salad salsa!
