Google
Hey pretty good food! Their Thai coffee has a more earthier flavor to it, which I like. As of the writing of this review, it's tough being a Thai restaurant trying to making it in a Cambodian neighborhood. So I hope these guys can pull through, because politics shouldn't get in the way of good food.

Google
Absolutely fantastic, authentic Thai food with very reasonable prices. Their Moo Grob (crispy pork belly) was actually freshly deep fried, so it was crispy! It's hard to find places that get enough demand that requires them to make it everyday, so the Kana Moo Grob (kale with crispy pork belly) was a treat.

Google
This was my first time and most likely last time going unless I give them another chance to redeem themselves dining. What led me here was a quick search via Food near me, so I choose this place, Ordered for take out and that was that. I spent over 130.00 dollars and I was expecting much more. The portions were enough to make a plate for me and my mother, totally was expecting more. Now was it good, the fried pork belly was really good, the Pa Nang was Decent, Orange Chicken Never again, Shrimp Tom-Kha only like 4 shrimps, Combination Pad Thai was Good But with the Pa Nang Much better, Crab Fried Rice was Decent, Beef Salad untouched, and The Asparagus and Mushroom just juicy, hardly any flavor.

Google
I tried out this new Thai place for takeout, and I gotta say, it's my new fave. The Tom Kha soup was so flavorful and creamy, and the mango sticky rice was just perfect. Made the perfect dinner for a cozy night in. Will definitely be going back:)

Google
Alright kinda Thai place though i felt portions were a little less. Spice was awesome !

Google
Please try their crab cakes!!!! It is so good with their sauce! I always order that and the classic panang curry! I like soft tofu for protein but all their protein is delicious. My boyfriend always order their thai boat noodle. I did have a sip. It is very yummy with their flat noodles. I have yet to experience anything remotely bad there!

Google
The food is delicious and authentic tasting. Thai Boat Noodles is excellent.

Google
We dined in for lunch and had the Thai beef noodle bowl… which is very much like the Vietnamese Pho dish but with a Thai twist and it was great. The broth was a bit salty a bit sour and the spiciness was satisfying. Lots of meat. Definitely a place I would come back to.

Yelp
+ Wide selection of interesting Thai food. The Pad Thai was delicious. . The Thai Boat Noodle was okay. . They don't have a parking lot. Free street parking all around. + Plenty of indoor seating. + Pleasant interior ambience. + Large restrooms - But no paper towels.

Yelp
I am so sad to admit that mild is spicy for me. But, you can order thai tea to help you cool down. I consumed thai boat noodle beef with wide rice noodles. The beef cuts were tender. It was a good break from enjoying the spicy broth and noodles. I think it was perfectly seasoned, I did not add additional lime. My boyfriend got the roasted duck noodles and it's so good, but even better with the duck sauce. I would definitely come back to dine here.

Yelp
Came here recently and unfortunately the Bangkok noodle recipe has changed! It's no longer tangy sweet and spicy as it used to be. The bangkok noodle was my family's favorite dish here. The rest of the thai food is still good and this is still our favorite Thai spot in Long Beach. I just hope they bring the old Bangkok noodle recipe back.

Yelp
My family and I have been coming to the restaurant for years! This is our favorite place to go specifically for their Thai boat noodles. My grandma loves coming here because it reminds her of her childhood and she always tries new dishes off the menu. We haven't had something we didn't like. This time around for our main dishes we ordered pineapple fried rice and you get your choice of protein and we got chicken, pad see eww and Thai boat noodles. For appetizers we ordered the fried egg rolls which were super hot and crispy. The service is fast and quick, especially when you're starving . The restaurant is clean and has a lot of seating. A great sit down restaurant for the family.

Yelp
To me, Long Beach Thai is known for their Thai boat noodle soup. They're crispy pork and Chinese broccoli with rice is also pretty good. Their Thai iced tea is pretty yummy as well. I was underwhelmed with the mee krob appetizer, which I found to be too sweet and they gave like two pieces of shrimp and small slices of fried tofu. It was a little underwhelming. Their stuffed angel wings are pretty good. I wish there was different kinds of side sauces to eat that with. Overall, the service is always pretty attentive and fast and the ambience is OK. I do like that. I get seated pretty fast.

Yelp
My foodie friend, Kelly, brought me here a couple years ago. We've always had great experiences. To-go and dine-in. Interesting to see the special goodies in the front. Who can pass up mango sticky rice? This week, I stopped by my friend's to check on her since she was having girl problems and tends to not eat. So I picked her up and we decided to come here a few days ago with my son. The Thai tea is great here. My friend likes the Thai boat noodle with the flat noodles. I've tried a few things here but I love that they have duck curry! It was so yummy, I almost drank the whole curry bowl. Might be better with rice. I've always had curry with rice but it wasn't bad with the noodles. The crab n cream cheese wontons were yummy though! We'll always come back! We find parking on the street after the lunch rush hour. Thanks guys!

Yelp
My second time here and once again I'm definitely in love with the shrimp Phad Thai!!! A perfect flavor and noodle texture!! I can't say enough... it is really one of the best Phad Thai I've tasted!! We also ordered beef salad and the sliced rib eye steak was a buttery melt in your mouth goodness!! Hats off once again to the chef.!!!

Maria A.

Yelp
Such good food and customer service! Everything was incredibly delicious. thank youu!

Yelp
BEST THAI BOAT NOODLE EVER! My standards have been raised from this place. There was so much depth in the soup. I order a spicy medium combo, it comes with small intestines which is my favorite! The calamari had the most perfect crunch to it and paired with the sweet and sour sauce was perfect. The fried spring rolls were also really good, mostly mung bean thread noodle and wood ear mushroom, lots of texture in the bite. Service was timely and quick.
google avatar

Yelp
I had the shrimp fried rice here. It was really good and the service was quick. Very attentive staff. Very calm place. I would come back.

Yelp
I've been coming here for almost a decade and have roped in a lot of friends who are also huge fans now. It's in an area where can be missed since it's plugged in in the center of a long street, but I never have trouble finding street parking. The Thai boat noodles are a popular item but if you're looking for a punch of flavors, I would say try the khao soi! The khao soi with duck is 10/10. The service is great, quick, attentive, helpful and the restaurant was not too busy on a Friday night. We also got a beef salad which was amazing. The sauce for the yem nua was fire. If you're a spicy sauce dipper, this is for you! We got medium - spicy for everything and it was perfect imo, very manageable. We also tried the mango sticky rice, lots of reviews saying $12 is a ripoff but I think the size is decent and it's quite good! You really can't go wrong with anything as I've also tried the curries, Tom kha, duck soups, papaya salad, and more. Prices are reasonable and restaurant is really clean too :)

Yelp
4 stars Another great meal. It's been awhile since my last post. Food is still very good. We shared: 1) Papaya salad with grilled shrimp- my fav salad. Have introduced this to a papaya hating friend. This is made with unripe papaya shredded. She loved it. We loved this dish today as well. Had to scale back spiciness to mild for my lunch partner though. 2) Yum nuen sliced beef salad- I prefer this to the shaken beef since it's sliced not cubed beef. Even with one piece of beef with a bit of gristle, this is very tasty. 3) Seafood pad se eu - ordered because the photo looked too good. Variety of seafood (sliced squid, shrimp, fake crab, & sliced fish cake). Very tasty. A but price for $17 since portion was a bit small. 4) Eggplant with ground pork- Again spice toned down. Great flavor, didn't taste too greasy as eggplant dishes generally do sometimes. Kind of unavoidable since eggplant really soaks up oil if not steamed prior to sauté. 5) Pineapple fried with combo meats (chicken, beef, pork & shrimp). Great taste, a bit mushy (?) too much juice? Or rehydrating water? Or oil? I've had fried rice at other Thai places that were more dry anyway. Next time I'll order the house fried rice . Why would I order fried vs. plain white rice? Because Thai fried rice has different flavor components than Chinese, Hawaiian or the one I make at home. Minus 0.75- ladies room was a bit messy. Needs scheduled cleaning. Please wipe the inside of the Dyson hand dryer. Solid Thai food.

Yelp
TAKE OUT RIP OFF. I ordered the Chile Paste Sauce Watercress with Chicken dish that was tasty, but the serving was tiny for $16.95. Not much to even share. It was in a partition container and didn't fill it up the chicken portion. Looks incomplete. COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED. Won't order take out ever again from there unfortunately.

Yelp
Tried this restaurant while I was in the area. It's got a lot of reviews and somewhat highly rated so we were excited to try it. The service was fine. Nothing over the top or super friendly. We got attended as needed. The ambience is also just fine. It's clean and modern but it has basically no charm or personality. The food was hit or miss. The Tom Yum soup was a big miss. We asked for spicy and it was basically sweet and the broth was not super flavorful. The spring roll was pretty good and the yellow curry was good but nothing special. Probably wouldn't return to this place.

Yelp
I ordered a Thai regular House Fried Rice plain without any extra additions and they charged me 15$ and the taste was ok but then I was shocked to see that the box they gave was half empty. It is clearly not a long beach standard restaurant. Never going back there.

Yelp
First time eating here and want to come back! liked our meal sooooo much wanted to copy and take home fir dinner!! The only thing is the split air conditioners are soooo chilly so bring a jacket or find a warm seat. Ordered chicken stay appetizer, shrimp pad thai, and mango sticky rice and drink root beer.

Yelp
Stopped by with Mom and Dad for late Mother's Day meal. They always want to go to the same same place, I told them let's try some new new places. Monday most Thai places are closed or open late, I had this place booked marked. The menu had lunch specials which comes with wanton soup, rice, and egg roll. We ordered multiple meals off the menu so that we can taste. The spicy basil was a giant hit with the dad, he liked it more than his usual spot. Mom got to taste multiple dishes and she was happy with her food. Also, it helps to get her a fresh young coconut. If they both like it, it's got my vote! The restaurant also has green Thai tea which some other places don't offer. We'll probably stop by again in the near future.

Yelp
My favorite Thai restaurant in LB! The food is always prepared well and isn't too salty. The staff is friendly and great at recommending new dishes. So many great choices to choose from, but I've shared some pics of the things we usually get.

Yelp
Amazing food Great service I especially liked the chicken Choo chee spicy and yummy Also shrimp Tom yum soup authentically delicious

Yelp
You can't go wrong with these three items: Duck Pan Nang Curry, Pad Thai and Tom Kha. The holy grail, if you will. It was my first time here and left with the fullest belly - satisfied and well fed. I hear the duck noodles are great so I'll need to come back and try that too! - Duck Pan Nang Curry (Tender duck, no bones in any bite, flavorful curry - creamy, hearty, mild spice) - Pad Thai (Perfectly chewy noodles, balanced tangy and sweet flavors) - Tom Kha (Heart warming, tender chicken, perfectly tangy, creamy, and sweet) - Thai Tea (Honorable mention, super sweet!) Service was good - they checked on our table frequently and even took a nice family photo us! As for parking, you can either park on the street in front of the restaurant or in the parking lot behind it where you enter a hallway that takes you directly to the dining room. We came on a gloomy Saturday and the restauarant was 1/3 filled! Not too bad. Our party of 6 was seated immediately. My only note was the bathroom needed some work. I didn't dare use the hand dryer.

Yelp
The food is good The ambiance is nice The service was good The soup that I got was super delicious And my daughter got some curry noodles and that was super bomb The pad Thai was super good as well

Yelp
This review is solely for takeout. My housemate recommended this place as the most authentic (he's Thai and Lao so I'll trust him) and I wanted to put his word to the test. I ordered a Boat noodle plus the stir fry morning glory for takeout, and they said it'd take 15 minutes. The inside of the restaurant is very well-kept and clean, and next time I'd want to sit down and enjoy my meal here. Parking is street, but I didn't have trouble and parked right up front. The morning glory veggies hit the spot so good that I straight up ordered another order right after lol. Boat noodle is super solid too, and the broth is hearty. To go was packaged well and I'll def be back.

Yelp
I'm really disappointed. I ordered delivery through GrubHub. Don't know if that had anything to do with the issues. I requested mild on the yellow curry and the drunken noodles. I also asked for a single serving of rice. The rice was missing and the curry was so hot I could barely eat it. Thank goodness the egg rolls don't have anything spicy in them. If I had had the rice, I could have managed. I rarely order food delivered, additional cost on top of food I won't be able to eat makes me feel really sad. The delivery person was great. Unfortunately, I didn't get to submit a rating of the restaurant through GrubHub, just the delivery.

Yelp
food: definitely try the thai boat noodle or the duck noodle soup. both were amazing and didn't need anything added to enhance the broth. please be warned about spice level if you are sensitive, medium was a great kick for me as someone that handles spice well. but it also made me cough a few times when the spice hit my throat! service: so so friendly and attentive. ambiance: tons of seating throughout the restaurant, no issues being sat on a friday evening at dinner time. street parking is available out front.

Yelp
Lots of exciting Thai dishes at this restaurant. I especially love the yellow curry soup or the Thai boat noodles in a rich broth. There is very little I haven't loved. The service is quick, friendly and the setting is comfortable. You can order everything mild or Thai spicy.

Yelp
We want to start by saying that shit is the only Thai food place that we've had zero problems with. Food comes out fast, well seasoned, good portions and cooked to perfection. At one point we came here 3 days in a row. They have some of the best Thai Tea we have ever had. Shrimp Pad Thai is a 10, shrimp Drunken noodle is one of the best dishes in the menu as well as the basil friend fried rice with seafood. The Crispy rolled shrimp appetizer is one of the best. I mean there really nothing we can complain about, we definitely should try more menu items but this is usually what we get when we come and it's always a pleasure to be serviced here by the staff. This place has cured my sadness on many occasions and will for ever hold a special place in our hearts! Thank you so much for being true, seasoned and authentic! -Loyal Customers

Yelp
Went in on a Saturday at around 4pm with a friend. Started with Tom Kha Soup which has coconut milk, chills, lemongrass, shrimp and mushrooms. You can select your level of spice for this soup. It was really good. I had drunken noodles with vegetables which was also very good. Lots of seating and it was not crowded (probably because it was before dinner rush). Street Parking is available.

Yelp
Every time I visit California, I always come to this restaurant for their boat noodle! It's so delicious after a night out, you just need a good hot soup filled with so much flavor. Service is always divine. They're very friendly and helpful. It's in Cambodia town and I love to come around here with my family because my family is able to order exactly what they want in Khmer. The inside has expanded so they're many seatings with lots of natural lighting coming in. If it's your first time, parking is on the side and also plenty more in the back!
google avatar

Sallie R.

Yelp
One of my go to spot for some noodles. Simple cute little restaurant located in Cambodia Town. Their bowl of noodles is enormous packed with flavors. My main dish I go for is Pad See Ew. I'm very picky with my noodles, but this place by far has my favorite dish. I always order their Thai tea. Don't know what it is, but it's just so satisfying each time. Service can be lacking, but overall it's not too bad.
google avatar

Russ L.

Yelp
The flavors are always consistent and delicious. They've around for a while, so they must be doing something good. The Thai Boat Noodle soup is always my go to. It's the best, and one of their best seller. But everything else is all delicious. You will not be disappointed. The service is always efficient, friendly and helpful.

Yelp
Don't have much to say. Horrible food. Horrible service. Landed at the airport 5:35. Was hungry. Of all the Thai places I looked up I just had to choose this one. Regret it.
google avatar

Dara G.

Yelp
Got take out. Was not terrible, in fact it was pretty yummy. However I probably woudlnt order here again for 2 reasons. 1. They don't have brown rice. This is pretty strange and I can't imagine why they wouldn't offer brown rice. 2. The chicken in all the dishes was ground, small bits of chicken which was kinda strange. I definitely feel like it's a way to skimp on chicken. I've never encountered a place that does that.
google avatar

Tina L.

Yelp
We got the duck noodle, rad nah, and pad thai. All were very tasty. The rad nah noodles had a great char to them, gravy was flavorful. The duck noodle had solid duck paired with a comforting broth. And the pad thai was a little too sweet but overall solid.
google avatar

Eye A.

Yelp
The place you come to that fits the description of home style perfectly. Came with a big party and basically tried more than several items off the menu. Everything is delicious. My favorite was the duck curry. The staff here is super amazing too. We'll definitely be coming back again.
google avatar

Vichea C.

Yelp
Great service, great food every time we dine here. My favorite is the Thai boat noodles with all the fixings which includes pork intestine, well balance broth. If you love an intestines in your dish and the type boat noodle, this is the perfect spot to check out. I'm usually here during brunch hours and never have to wait, they always see within a few minutes of arrival. Love it here
google avatar

Cindy H.

Yelp
This place is awesome. They were busy on a Saturday night but we were seated pretty fast and had quick service. The curry noodles really hit the spot. 10/10 would recommend
google avatar

Frederick A.

Yelp
It's been a while since I've been here! Prices went up like everything else, but the taste is still the same. The only thing is there are less meat on the bowl (from what I remember). Service was ok
google avatar

Susana L.

Yelp
Ok I was coming here once a week when I was pregnant and actually still kinda do. The food here is always consistent in terms of size and flavor! The beef pad Thai is our favorite bursting with flavor. There a hint of sweetness that has captured our taste buds and no other Thai establishment has been able to fulfill! My second favorite dish here is the Panang curry. We get it with chicken and extra vegetables. The consistency is not thin but not thick...just right!! The staff is amazing!! Always rounding to ensure we have everything we need and always with a smile on their face. If you haven't stopped by you probably should as you won't regret it! They will have you coming back every week!

Yelp
Heard good thing about this place from a good amount of people. Stopped off here for dinner with some friends and it was a first timer. First off, they don't have a liquor license so no alcohol. Nor can you bring your own. There's street parking along the front. Not quite sure if there's parking in the back. You have some both, tables and one long communal table right when you walk in. There's a also snacks and goods sold along the front of the restaurant. Good thing with menus as one offered pictures if you needed something visuals. Started off with a couple of appetizers for the table. The fried spring roll (egg rolls), chicken satay, pork satay and the chicken wings. Each dish was quite good. Main, there was a few dishes scattered throughout the table. Crispy pork and rice, shrimp pad Thai, boat noodles, bankcock noodle, beef rad na, shrimp fried rice and chicken panang. Each dish did have their own flavors. Some was better than others but was good. Service was nice and staff was friendly. Food wise, it was good.

Yelp
I recently watched a YouTube video by tapthatbeef, he flew all the way from Texas just to eat Thai boat noodle lol. He got me craving it. I think this is one of the best Thai boat noodles in So Cal, hands down. Their Thai boat noodle is consistent. They make it so good when I ask for spicy. I think it's great they hire Khmer speakers. I love the vibe and I think the employees are all very nice. I'm Cambodian, learning the Thai language and just absolutely love Thai food! Aroy mak! Phed mak! Kap kune kap!

Alicia G.

Yelp
Classic thai food!! Easy pick up for my online order and the restaurant was surprisingly big inside! I got the red curry with tofu and drunken noodle with tofu. Both were spicy and yummy. Definitely a place to go back to again. Parking was difficult.

Maritza R.

Yelp
Food was great the first time we were there we thought the young lady that helped us kept ignoring us but finally did help us, the 2nd time we realized that no, we waited for other people to be taken care of us, until after all of the other families then she came to help us, took our order while we saw the other people that came after us were already being served. We got our appetizer and my daughter's food. I had ordered a soup that was not coming until we asked and it took another 10 minutes at that point I was so ready to just cancel but didn't. I addressed the issue to the person that I thought was the manager but realized that the language barrier was a problem, so gave up on it. So I want to say if you look different than their nationality or white they will not treat you with respect, I want to say my daughter never pays attention to that but on that day she realized that racial discrimination is real, unfortunately I will never go back, don't get me wrong the food is great but other than that this is a place that I will never, ever go back!
google avatar

Sandra C.

Yelp
Aside from the chicken satay that came with peanut sauce, and a side of pickled cucumbers and red onions, which was excellent As usual, I was rather surprisingly disappointed with the other dishes we ordered. For the first time, I tried the curry. We ordered the Penang curry, with beef, upon the recommendation of the server. This was very thick and had a different Penang flavor than I am used to. In contrast, the yellow curry, was really runny, like broth in soup, and was even less tasty. We did not think either curry was that good, The chicken lard was overly spicy even though we asked for a mild medium and the drunken noodles with shrimp was just OK, not really good, but not really bad either. No longer on the menu was the Hunan chicken which I was really looking forward to and missed because it was so good and juicy with a special sauce. Whenever I'm in Long Beach, I usually come here for lunch, and this was the first time I came to eat for dinner. Not sure if that should matter. Wonder if it was a different chef or just an off night?
google avatar

Paul B.

Yelp
Solid food but I'm not writing home about it. A lot of it was too sweet! The thing I wanted was no longer on the menu. Overall I'd give it a 3.5. The service was great. We ordered an mild and we thought it was too spicy. The location isn't very nice, but the interior was pretty.

Yelp
Before there was Yelp, this place was already a great establishment over at their humble beginnings. It has been many months maybe even a year since I've revisit for a meal here at Long Beach Thai. I would usually come in every weekend and some days of the week for breakfast and order the Pad Sawee Noodles with a side of fresh eggs on top. Here I am again today ordering the same meal and Ice Coffee to pair it with and meal still taste as good as it was 15 years ago!! This new location has plenty of seats indoor with both booths and table style, divided area into two for a more stylish dinning experience. Booths has partition that are raised up above 5 feet to provide for a private dinning for patrons. The servers are great with getting meals and answering questions regarding items in the kitchen. Most of the locals/usual customers that comes in goes for the Stir Fry Noodles or the Thai Boat Noodles. Food establishments like these are really the gems of the community, especially in Long Beach where a majority of Asian folks lives and thrive and sometimes when they go out for dinning, they want that HOMECOOK meal feel to their taste buds. Hands down recommending this establishment if you're in the vicinity.

Yelp
This is my go-too Thai restaurant. They have amazing Thai green tea and the quantity is huge! I love their pad Thai with shrimp. Their shrimp is good quality and fresh.
google avatar

Monica C.

Yelp
Coming in we were seated right away, and serviced right away. The food options here were very delicious and love coming here for the first time to have boat noodle and to also introduce this to my bf. Everything is very flavorful and they had a wide range variety and selections to choose from on their menu. We opted for the beef and meatball boat noodle and curry noodle and got their Lao style Papaya Salad as another dish. Everything came out quick and we ate it immediately. Thank you!
google avatar

Linda S.

Yelp
We usually have take out's and get the large size. I've noticed that they barely put any meat or veggies. We decided to go in person and got the regular. It was the same amount that they had put in our large size for take out's. Great staff. Clean place. However, the price increase is disappointing only because the portion sizes are not honored as before. The regular size is $13.75 and the large size is $17.75. Great food, but we will be looking for another Thai establishment.

Yelp
I always get the Thai Boat Noodles with egg rolls, and it slaps all the time every time.
