Went in for a quick bite…. Food was good got the chicken fish shrimp platter…. Was packed and there was only 3 people working this was a Sunday and those 3 workers had that place running as smooth as they could possibly handle it… great job they deserve a raise or have a tip jar…. Keep up the good work and way to be professional although you were short staffed never made a face or rude…. I will be back…… give them a try ….

here the best thing are the 2 ladies employees in the night, hreat service by them, we came today at 9 pm ,1 lady was in the kitchen and the other in the front, food average

One of the better visits I've had here, food-wise. The fish was realllly good on this visit! The batter tasted great, fish wasn't fishy, and everything that was supposed to be crispy....was very crispy! Taste was on point, fish, classical, hushpuppies and even the fries were all great. Sadly I think the staff could work on their customer skills. LJS also now sells cheesecake from the cheesecake factory. Personally, I wasn't blown away with it. I wasn't bad, but ive had better.

I’m not one to leave reviews but this visit definitely needed a five star review! Alice took our order and she was so sweet and helpful! Our food was out quickly and it was fresh and delicious. Alice came around to our table to make sure everything was alright and that the food was to our satisfaction. I genuinely appreciated Alice’s personal touch and she is the reason for this 5 star review and the reason we will definitely be back to this location!

Very friendly. I have always loved Long John Silvers but lately I can't find any that live up to the old school name. I had to favorite this one because it was just like it was back in the day. They actually cooked everything right. The taste is the same and their restaurant actually was full of people. Great servicd.

Always enjoy the fish and coleslaw but I personally do not like the waffle fries. Wishing the original fries could be brought back. Overall, the Yarbrough location is the I prefer.

Long John Silver’s- I really liked the food here at this restaurant, the prices here were decent, I thought it was worth the price. I really liked the flavors of the popcorn shrimp, and the fish was really tasty as well. The fried bread didn’t taste the same, each fried item had a different flavor. I will certainly eat here again! The employees were really nice, had the food ready at a decent time! Will return, good food, I enjoyed my time here.

I'm in the parking lot.. have not even tried my food yet. I just wanted to say that I feel so bad for the employees of the establishment. As soon as I walked in the place smells like sewage and I hope that this is not the regular state of this building. If so, it should probably be shut down.

The cashier was really nice. i ordered a 2 piece chicken combo along with my family's meal. when the food came out, my meal was missing. No big deal, stuff happens! My husband went up to bring it to their attention and at first they tried arguing with him saying we never ordered it when the cashier confirmed it. Then after having to show my receipt they said they'd make my meal. 20 minutes go by and I still haven't gotten my meal and when my husband yet again went up there to ask about my meal the cook started to argue again saying "well they never ordered it I already looked" the older woman said, "yes they did order it it's right here in their ticket". Visibly irritated, the cook was like "whatever i'll give it to them". At that point I was irritated and just asked for it to go. Also floors were extremely dirty.

My girlfriend and I happened to be on the east side so we decided to stop by for dinner here since the one we had on the westside shut down a few years back and we both had been craving LJS. When we walked in, the music was pretty loud and I had just had ear surgery so we asked if there was any way they could turn it down due to it really hurting my ears and they did with no issue which was very nice of them. They got our order and the food was out like 10 minutes later! The food tasted great and over all we were very happy with our experience there. The reason I am docking them a star is for 2 reasons. The first being it is very hot in there. Like not just hot but it's very stuffy. The second is that the eating area was not the cleanest but it was the dirtiest. I know places are under staffed and there was only 2 people there when we went but most of the tables were dirty and so we ended up wiping one of the booths down ourselves so we could sit down and eat. Neither of these issues would stop us from going again but maybe next time we'll get our meals to go!

Hadn't been here in many years, decided to take the fam. I'm the only one that ate fish, everyone else ate chicken and I woke up feeling very sick the next day. I woke up feeling very queasy and extremely dizzy like I've never felt before with a headache and a feeling as if my brain was swollen or something (pretty scary). When my wife tried the fish, she spit it out and said it didn't taste fresh at all so she didn't eat any, I should've listened to her. I definitely got food poisoning or something, I have never felt this way and I will never go to Long John Silver's again, I can only imagine they keep the fish out for very long periods. Horrible experience.

I stopped by this location on Sunday evening around 8:45. As soon as I walked in I immediately noticed the music was extremely loud. So loud in fact that when I approached the cashier I had to raise my voice to place my order. I presented my e-coupon which I had just received via email directly from Long John Silvers the day before. Without even attempting to ring me up the cashier very quickly proceeded to tell me that my coupon was not valid because they were a corporate restaurant. Huh? Realizing that this guy was just giving me a canned response I asked to see the manager. A young woman who was also doing the cooking comes to the front counter and grabs my phone and tells me that my coupon was only valid for one day, yesterday. Then she attempts to ring the order and apply the coupon and of course it worked. I'm not really sure why both of these employees would immediately dismiss the validity of a legitimate coupon out of hand without attempting to apply it first unless they had been directed to do so? As I'm waiting for my food I realize that the blaring rap music is dropping "F" bombs and "N" words left and right. Not exactly the kind of music I'd expect to hear in any corporate owned family friendly restaurant. When my food was finally ready, the manager loudly and rudely yells, "thank you sir" through the kitchen window. Since she didn't say thank you to any of the other customers after me in that manner it was very clear that she was being sarcastic. I replied, "thank you for finally accepting my coupon" and I also mentioned that I found the blaring obscene music highly inappropriate to which I got no acknowledgement other than an "oh well" look from both employees. As a regular customer I found this experience highly unusual and I have to wonder if the owners of this location are aware of how their restaurant is being run at night? If they do support this behavior and are behind the deny coupons first policy then maybe LJS corporate needs to examine what's going on here?

Long John Silver's isn't a craving one gets often, but when you got hush puppies on the mind, you must get them! This LJS location has really stood the test of time, it has been here since I was a young child. I just recently found out the Taco Bell/LJS restaurant on Zaragoza is now just a Taco Bell, so its one of the few remaining ones in El Paso. Like I said, hush puppies are great, and I actually enjoy their chicken better than their fish, it is a very underrated fried chicken, check it out. Luckily they have combos featuring chicken, fish, and hush puppies! Unfortunately there isn't a drive-thru :(

Horrible experience. Portions were incredibly small, and prices incredibly high. Tried to call the manager, but only voicemail answered. No visible corporate number. No one cares to listen to complaints. Never had such a terrible experience with a fast food restaurant. Although I will say, Chick-fil-A was a close second.

Where I am from, we no longer have long John silvers so it has been quite a long time since I've eaten it. The service was good and quick. The food wasn't terribly priced for what you got! We got three pieces of chicken, 6 shrimp, hush puppies and fries for only $9.73! It filled my whole family up. Outside the severe greasiness, it was a good flashback down memory lane.

I had been craving ljs' for a while and couldn't remember why I hadn't been there in such a long time. Walking in the door I remembered right away the reason why. It's hot in there. Going in from 97 degrees outside didn't feel like a relief at all. I ordered anyways and when i got my order I knew I would be making something at home later on. The fish was dry I'm thinking it's been under a heat lamp since noon and it's already 6p.m. the shrimp was the same the chicken nice and fresh perfectly done but if I want chicken I'll go to a chicken joint. So as I'm sitting down I realized i could see the thermostat from my seat. ... 86 degrees! Come on now! No wonder my meal was dry and I was breaking a sweat. Seriously don't overcook your product or customers. This is one place i will not be going back to.

Tacky, junky, tiny... I believe this place would smell fishy regardless of the menu... Friendly staff.

The food is good. But this place is dirtier than Anthony Weiner at a porn convention. As far as I know, this is the only LJS where they apparently dump the cooking oil onto the dining area and then mop the floor. The bathroom is filthy. The service is meh.

This location has been around since i was a kid back in the 70's. My dad used to always buy us Long John's once a week and it was really good back then. Just went today and the place is going down hill. The place looks dirty, unwelcoming, and some of the staff there are unruly and loud. The fish wasn't all that great either, kind of chewy and the fries were cold and hard, not like before. The joint needs a makeover and bad and new management.

This place is so good. Food is great and ya it's a little run down but it's fine. The times we've gone it's been clean and had no complaints. The staff is pretty nice. It's always busy when we go so that's a good sign. Can't go wrong with the treasure chest of food mmmm.
