Long Weekend - Review - North Beach - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"Long Weekend, from the team behindBourbon & Branch,Rickhouse, andDawn Club, is a North Beach cocktail bar that changes its global theme—everything from the decor, menu, and music—every nine months (a laTrick Dog). Right now, this place is all about Havana, and the next international inspiration will be decided by customer votes." - Patrick Wong

So here's the deal, get you some food near by and bring it in here and grab a drink and a spot with a view and people watch. The downstairs is really warm as it's an old vault (very cool) there's also a bar tender. Then consider finding a staff member to take you to the super secret upstairs outside deck. The views of the city and hidden Banksy mural are ox course a draw. They plan to open this area at some point but till then you'll need an escort. They are also planning lots of stuff like music food and a safe deposit key club. Great drinks, a lil pricey but the views and ambience can't be beat. If would be a perfect place to do a speakeasy/escape room.

A welcome reprieve from all the Italian restaurants , we finally have a place which reminds me more of a social club than a bar ; it’s regal stone architecture makes the club come across as a monument , it’s interior saves it from becoming a shrine of self-importance where all come to pray. It’s interior has style it wears on its sleeve and it’s show-offy-ness has a good sense about is…

Great space for dancing Cuban salsa. Delicious mocktail with lime and guava

I felt the Cuban vibe! Very clean. First time going, met some cool people and had good service. I had a drink called Princesa which was delicious! Tasted like an elevated mojito smoothie 😋

Absolutely lovely Cuban bar in North Beach with authentic art and photos from Cuba. Several floors of fun, don’t miss the basement! Delicious drinks and marvelous music.

Beautiful place with upstairs places to lounge with views of Broadway and Columbus. There’s also an underground level that used to be a bank vault! Very cool spot.

Staff is exceptional. Views of busy Broadway and Columbus from the tables on the 2nd floor are 10/10 SF vibes.

Lovely and fun Cuban-themed bar with a fantastic selection of rums and other libations, right across from City Lights? Yes, please!

Yelp
Stopped by on my way home from work during their soft opening because of the bright colors and great music. Had to do a double take. The building itself is an architectural jewel. Got a nice tour from Tao. What an absolutely amazing new venue for North Beach. Massive windows look out at Broadway and Columbus, a bright interior, Cuban music, Cuban art. I'm not a drinker anymore but I ordered la princessa (N/A) and it was refreshing, not overly sweet with just a little surprise note of pepper that made it special. Special areas like the gallery behind the bar, the balcony above, the mezzanine, many different areas to gather abound; the vault space downstairs with its own private bar is so fucking cool I want to book my next private event immediately. Bartenders were friendly and nice, Frankie especially made an immediate impression. I can't wait to see what success awaits this spectacular new bar space. An instant gem.

Yelp
Long Weekend only opened up about 1 month ago. It's a unique Cuban bar that also has an underground level-- both floors have something for everyone! If you visit within the next 8ish months, you'll get to experience their Havana-themed immersion When you first enter, you're greeted by an open dance floor and the main bar and DJ. The pastel color palette of the main floor is very chic & whimsical. There's plenty of barstool seating in addition to dancing room. After you get a drink from the bar, make your way down the staircase to the left of the DJ! You'll immediately be transported into a bank/vault that is filled with street-art and music that will keep you on your feet. The bar itself was a bit slow, but it seemed worth it as the drinks were fairly strong. However, the bartenders were very attentive to those who were standing by. There are definitely a lot of different parts that go into each of their unique drinks. I'm not much of a bar-goer, but it's feeling like Long Weekend has changed my mind!

Yelp
So this place is pretty neat. It's located inside of an old bank from around the 1920's. Down stairs has different seating areas great for groups. The vault door was cool to see and they also have a smaller bar area down stairs. Up stairs looks classic and colorful. The service was really cool and the bartender ceases very friendly. They change the theme of the bar every nine months. So when I was there the destination was Havana. It makes it a really cool experience.

Yelp
I've been keeping an eye on this spot every since Et Tutto Qua closed and it's finally opened!!! The current iteration is a cuban-themed cocktail bar (they plan to do a yearly revamp to a new city) and every cocktail we had was really good. There are multiple areas you can go to hang out, including the bank vault area... The princessa was a perfect cocktail and I will be torn between exploring the menu and just getting that every time! Sounds like they plan to have live music or a dj weekend nights as well. :)

Yelp
This place is brilliant. It's on the corner of Broadway and Columbus with gorgeous windows and amazingly tasty drinks. I'm just stunned by the beauty and vibe of this place. The servers were really quick with our drinks and asked us if we needed anything the entire night. I was truly loving the live music and was just really impressed with everything happening in this bar. Taste all of their amazingly tasty drinks. A special sweet spot to know is there's a secret rooftop with a Banksy and gorgeous views of the Transamerica building and Salesforce Tower (I didn't realize that BOTH building's lights glowed in the distance). It's just an incredible spot for any gathering!! I can't believe what a sweet new bar this is!
