Look's Marketplace

The chicken sandwich here is super good with a generous portion of crispy chicken. I've tried a few different entrées here and all were good. The pizza wasn't my favorite in times past, just not my style of pizza. The BLT has thick very smokey bacon slices. Great service, clean, the market is fun to shop in when you're done eating, the ice cream and dessert bar is really good. Outdoor patio seating available. Kid friendly dining. Usually some sort of fresh flower vase on the tables adding a nice touch.

We've eaten at Looks many times over the years so I decided to order something different than my usual this time and ordered the blue cheese and steak salad. It was $25 which I thought was a fair price considering the sirloin steak that was included. I guess a person should always be wary if the menu description doesn't include how many ounces the steak is. Needless to say, the portion size of the sirloin was very small (see my photo, size of steak portion). Unfortunately my steak was also over done, was very dry and had absolutely no flavor (it was supposed to be medium well). I was really looking forward to the grilled bread that was served with the salad, but the bread just ended up being two plain grilled pieces of bread/baguette with nothing on them, except for the black grill marks, which tasted like char. It really would have added a lot of flavor if the bread was at least topped with some melted butter or olive oil. Adding a touch of garlic or herbs would have been great, too. Oh well. This salad was really just a boring bed of raw spinach with a couple of very thin sliced avocados pieces and some sliced sweet red peppers. I am a huge blue cheese fan so I did enjoy the generous amount of blue cheese sprinkled throughout the salad. Every one else at our table (12 of us) enjoyed their food, most ordered burgers and grilled sandwiches with french fries. The cheese curds were delicious, as always! Next time l'll just stick to my usual, the Detroit Brick Motor City pizza. It's always spot on!

This is another GO-TO in Sioux Falls! Great beers 🍻 and amazing food!!!! Our preference is to sit at the bar and enjoy conversation with others!!!! Before you leave - visit the meat 🥩 market and pick up some burgers or steaks for the road! The baker is amazing and the ice cream 🍨 will keep you coming back for an amazing sweet treat!!!! A local favorite for sure!!!!

Had the best jelly doughnut I've ever had from the bakery (could taste real fruit in it), and everything else we got was good. Family had fun sampling fancy cheeses and took some home. It's a nice upscale market. Several items in the grocery are ridiculously upcharged, but the bakery is reasonable. Staff were friendly . The bathroom however was surprisingly gross like years of dirt on the floors gross....

Great place to eat. Lots of people in line to eat house. But you can skip the line and order some to go. Tasty Wood fired pizzas and some great burgers.

We were super excited to order from Look’s as we’d heard great things. Unfortunately our experience was pretty disappointing. We called in a carry-out order & were given the wrong size pizza (indv instead of large). Was $13, had almost no sauce & very little cheese. The pepperonis & crust were the only remotely decent parts 😭 We might come back and try something else but first experience was well below our expectations.

Thid place was highly recommended. I had a good burger one night, but the seasoned fries were not great. I give the breakfast potatoes a 10/10 for their simplicity. I had the worst pizza of my life here, the Brooklyn pizza, it was not for me. That being said there market place itself has a very nice selection of meats, cheeses and other grocery items. It's a really cool building but it's super loud when it is busy. The staff are great and doing an amazing job, unfortunately the food from the restaurant didn't live up to the hype. If you go order the cheese curds, they aren't Wisconsin cheese curds but they are good anyway. I feel like this would be a good place for large groups wanting appetizers and drinks. It is very kid friendly, they have alot of Seating color sheets and crayons available.

If you are driving through Sioux Falls you HAVE to stop here! They have everything. We stopped at the bakery for some delicious treats and the made our way back to the restaurant. We got an amazing salad and turkey club. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth the trip off the highway.
