Loop & Lil's Pizza

Fun pizza restaurant just off the main square in Lockhart. They have an extensive menu of pizzas, calzone, etc. as well as beer and wine. Only one of their pizzas has bbq on it, in the form of sausage, but they can run out by dinner time. They have a weekday happy hour and combo specials. They have a bar, many tables, and a friendly wait staff. There is free parking in front of the restaurant and on adjacent streets.

This place was recommended by my PT so we decided to try it. We were not disappointed! Trinity did a great job making our first visit a good one giving suggestions on what to order. Everything was excellent- even the sweet tea! Highly recommend! Go on a Saturday and check out the farmer’s market.

Stopped in for their lunch special - slice, salad, soda for $8.50. Everything was great! Our server was friendly and attentive, the interior was was fun and cozy. Pizza and salad were perfect! Will happily come back next time I’m in Lockhart

Awesome pizza spot with fresh ingredients and great flavor. The crust was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and still soft inside—and the toppings were generous without being overloaded. The sauce had a nice balance and everything tasted made to order. Service was friendly, the place was clean, and the atmosphere was casual and comfortable. Great value for the quality. Definitely coming back.

Great place to take the family, the ingredients are always fresh and the dough is always clean. Their drinks are also fun, yet very generous with the portions. If a slice of pizza and a cold pint is more enticing to you, they've got that too

Quick friendly service. Really great, fresh and delicious food. Salad was incredible with a variety of fresh tasty crunchy veggies. The pizza was hot with great depth of flavor. Try the drinks. They have great house menu. The Mexican Martini was just as described, salty, sweet, perfectly dirty. Highly recommend.

I barely moved to lockhart. I extremely please with the food quality. The service was outstanding. Our waiter was genuinely friendly and polite. Atmosphere was quaint and really calm. I had the grinder sandwich and was not disappointed. It was very good. So when visit Lockhart come and say hi to Nathan. Overall great dining experience.

The pizza and salad were amazing! Thisnis our second visit, and the staff and service have been fantastic both visits. We are new to the area, but will definitely be coming here often!

You had one simple job. It's supposed to be your specialty. Pizza is literally in your name. We ordered The Mary Margaret, to go. Your menu says it includes basil, fresh mozzarella, roma tomatoes, olive oil and Italian herbs (the rest of the world will recognize this as a "margherita" pizza). We ordered this in store, so there's was no phone or internet error for you to blame. We patiently waited 45 minutes for the pizza. Yes, we probably should have checked it before we left, but we weren't clued in that you were incapable of making a very simple, classic pizza. Note the photo. No basil, no Italian spices. We're not even sure it had the olive oil. So we got a cheese pizza with tomatoes. Who orders that? And no, it wasn't even a good cheese pizza.

Loop and Lil's is the place to go for nights where you want to go out but don't want to do nothing crazy! Good pizza and drinks! Their margaritas are strong! Makes it worth every penny their salad dressing best I've ever tried! Service and ambiance is great!

Every time I'm around this are I tried to stop by here, this time their special pizza was Mexican chorizo with tapatío and it was good. I also tried the tiramisu and it was good. Just be patience and they take time to bring your food.

I emailed the owners/managers on the 23rd the following and never got a response. Loop & Lil's Pizza 107 N Main St Kyle, TX 78640 Dear Sir or Madam, I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the service my family and I received at your restaurant on 5-23-24. Our party of 22 was not only refused seating but also treated with a lack of consideration that was both disappointing and unacceptable. Upon arrival, we were informed by both the manager and the hostess that we would not be seated. When we inquired about waiting for a table, this option was also denied without any explanation. Despite our request for the manager to reach out to the owner to verify this policy, we were met with refusal. We found it difficult to understand why, in a situation where there were nine empty tables and no other waiting patrons, our party could not be accommodated. Furthermore, while attempting to find an alternative dining option, we observed six other families leaving the restaurant, because they concluded their meal.This indicates a significant loss of business, which seems counterintuitive for any establishment, especially when there is ample seating available. When I insisted on speaking with someone in charge, the manager, Claudia, reiterated that turning away business is your standard practice. This response was both baffling and disheartening, particularly in an industry that thrives on customer satisfaction and patronage. This experience has left a negative impression, not only on my family but also on our extended network of friends and acquaintances. I am deeply disappointed that a restaurant of your reputation would exhibit such disregard for its customers. I understand that you were not available because you were out celebrating a graduation. I hope you had a wonderful time. It was our night to celebrate our two graduates and they chose your establishments only to be treated as such I hope you take this feedback seriously and review your policies and customer service practices. It is my sincere wish that no other patrons have to endure the same level of dissatisfaction we experienced. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response. As of the 26th no response.

On a weekend trip to Lockhart, I stopped by Loop & Lil's Pizza for a late dinner on a Saturday night. While Lockhart considers themselves the BBQ capital of Texas, they have a great dining scene overall. Loop & Lil's is one of the most popular restaurants in town located in the historic downtown area. While they have some bar seating and a few tables on their front patio, I opted to sit at a booth. I first took a look at their interesting cocktail menu and ordered a concoction to start out with. From there, I looked over the food menu which has a lot of interesting specialty pizzas. With that being said, I was in the mood for a pepperoni pizza so that's what I went with. While the pizzas aren't cheap, they're large. I ate four out of the eight slices and I was full. Plenty of leftovers! The pizza was great too. It had just the right amount of grease, my kind of pizza. Service was friendly. If you're looking for some good food in Lockhart outside of the 'cue, this spot should be toward the top of your list.

My favorite pizza in Texas. Particularly recommend the Out of Towner pie, that's my fave!

I'm a loop and Lil's devotee. Everyone from Tara at the bar to the awesome wait staff makes you feel welcome. We get the Save the Brock pizza almost every time we go. We went to a show next door and popped in to get one piece of every dessert on the menu. The salads are delicious. I am going to have to try one of the sandwiches but it's impossible for me to go there and not get pizza. It's so good.

Service was good but the pizza was nothing special, a little too salty for my taste. Atmosphere and drinks were good. I'd go back but maybe try a different kind of pizza next time. We got the one that's similar to a supreme.

Amazingly cool and loving staff. Great food. Cool vibes! And I'll let you in on a secret menu hack: tho it's not on the menu, you can order any pizza with vegan cheese! Which is amazing for folks who can't do dairy for ethical and dietary reasons! I love this place. Such a great hang.

Wonderful food, and great service! You get a very good amount of food for the price and I love their salads and pizza! You can't go wrong. Plenty of seating as well as great drinks.

This place is a gem in the little town of Lockhart Texas! I worked in the area for 10 months and this was my lunch spot to unwind, read a book and take in the atmosphere. A+ hospitality and great prices too.

Very good local place. Good value. Bar side for those wanting to hang out there, restaurant side for dinner. Oddly you cannot get a spatula to lift your pizza out with but that's my only complaint.

Messed up order. Claimed we never ordered it that way. Not impressed. We definitely ordered our pizza with pepperoni. Just make it right. First time ever coming here. Not coming back.

Best pizza in Central Texas, hands down. A true Margarita with delicious olive oil. Nice people.

BEST CEASAR SALAD OF MY LIFE. my mom and our family friend we're exploring a bit of TX and went to blacks bbq which... didn't exactly cater to my dietary restrictions to say the least (though my preferences/tolerances are completely subjective and blacks is objectively spectacular) but, for me, i was just really craving a caesar salad which i picked up here and it was phenomenal. if there pizza is half as good as that i definitely recommend haha!

In my opinion, not the best pizza in the world but when your craving it it is delicious. The pizza is usually really greasy when I get it. The restaurant is really cool and clean, you get a view of downtown Lockhart out the window. The employees are pretty nice too.

Loop and lil's has a hip, family friendly atmosphere. they have different pizzas of the week, and tons more to choose from. Our fav. pizza is the save the brock, and their salads are always well worth a try. I have honestly never had anything bad here. Wait staff has always been super helpful! the only time they weren't, the waitress forbid me to leave a tip which I felt bad because I knew they were slammed. I understand the importance of a true review, even the best restaurant has a few hick ups ever now and again. As for this restaurant I will keep coming back.

My mom and I stopped here for lunch and it was a delightful surprise! We ordered a whole Old Orchard Salad and the Paul & Me Sandwich. The salad was much bigger than expected! We will both be able to eat salad twice, so even if you're sharing, maybe consider a half. On to the sandwich....this may be the best bread I've had in a long time! The whole sandwich was perfect, but the bread makes it! Just the right amount crunchy exterior and soft baked interior. The meatballs are flavorful, just know you want be a garlic lover if you're eating them. Finally a perfect amount of sauce to keep the flavor profile while not being too saucy. We shared both things and feel just happily full. Service was also great. It was quick and everyone we interacted with was friendly and appeared to want to be there. Edited to add: we asked for a piece of Peanut Butter Pie to go. My mom says "It's the BEST Peanut Butter Pie EVER!" I didn't get a picture but it looked beautiful and yummy!

Totally awesome!!! We initially went in to get pizza but ended up sharing dill bread, salad, and a calzone! All was magnificent.

A great local joint i will continue to support. I give 4 or of 5 only because when different staff is present we can see a shift in the food we order. Dressing made in house, great pizza options, good sized pizzas. Several signature items that are fantastic.

Best pizza, barr none. Great sandwiches, salads, and an amply stocked bar too. Don't feel like sitting inside? No problem! Have a seat out front and your servers will find you. One of my favorite places to eat and hang.

Came here on a Sunday night after the F1 race. We're from SoCal and spent the week in Lockhart/Martindale. After a long day of sun and racing, we found this gem. Wasn't too crowded but the waitress and staff were super inviting and welcoming. The interior vibe and old school bar made for a nice relaxing ambiance. Ordered some beers and cocktails, and service was excellent. Asked for pizza recommendations and she nailed it with the Smokehouse and Save the Brock. Excellent thin crust that still held firm and chewy, and the toppings were excellent and well paired. Perfect stop in a cool old TX downtown, and the people are so welcoming! Good eats!

The ambiance was neat, service was okay not greeted right away but it was a Friday night. The pizza was bland, sauce had no flavor, pineapple was flavorless, chicken was okay and pepperoni was decent. Does not compare to any pizza I had before nor does it make a top list. Maybe if you are from the area it's good but if you have tried pizza in a bunch of different states I would advise not to bother trying this place.

My wife and I have been here several times, the food has always been good. The wait staff has always been very good and very friendly. My reason for only four stars is that I am a dark beer drinker and they really don't have my preferred drink which is very important when I'm out and need a perfect evening. Nice atmosphere in restaurant and in Lockhart in general props for the law enforcement who keeps us all safe.

GREAT pizza. Stopped in here on the way to the airport and I was NOT disappointed. This place had some amazing pizza, good beer, and great service. Their pizzas are 16 inch hand tossed with a good selection. I got a half and half of Smokehouse and Brock and they were both delicious. The Smokehouse BBQ flavor combination was unique but blended very well. The brick was your basic manly meat pizza but nothing basic about the flavor. Stop by here if you have the chance, highly recommend. Garlic bread was also good and the flavor on the marinara was amazing.

Pineapple craft beer.. new to me but was really good, had a great flavor , the service was great and the prices were normal also. Only thing we particular didn't like was the fact that they let animals in, but that's just us

Wow! Great Pizza joint! I had the orchard salad with goat cheese and dried cranberries which was excellent! for the pizza, I had the old plum creek. It tasted great, was well cooked and good amount of toppings. I wish they had a pizza with a mixture of meat and veggies without building your own as it gets crazy expensive. Service was fantastic and very attentive. I'll be going each time I'm in Lockhart!

The food in the atmosphere at this restaurant are really good and it's tasty and relaxing. The only drawback is that it is pretty expensive and for just a salad tea and a small pizza you're pushing $30 at least so are used to be less expensive. I'm sure that they had their prices go up after the pandemic but whatever the case you got to bring some cash when you want to eat there

This place just continues its' downhill spiral. Running out of pepperoni ?????? Don't waste your time. Lockhart really needs a legit pizza joint and this place isn't going to ever be it. I had to double check the crust to make sure it wasn't cardboard. Seriously, don't bother.

Best eatery in Lockhart. Great bar with even better food and a fabulous ambiance. Bonus: staff consistently cares about you having a positive experience which isn't as common as it should be.... and if you've read this far, just go. I'm confident our notes will read the same. Six star rating

We absolutely love Loop & Lil's! Pizza is always fresh and hot, toppings huge and high quality. I also enjoy the calzones and we always take a couple pieces of PB pie for the road.

The pizza is excellent!!! The crust had a nice crunch to it, the pizza sauce wasn't acidic, and the cheese is amazing. Our server, Jacqueline, is amazing! She was smiling, friendly, and made us feel at home. I loved the atmosphere of the place. I will definitely come back! Thank y'all for taking care of us on our date night

My husband and I love this place! The pizza is very good. I LOVE the Antipasto Salad. It is one of the best salads I've ever eaten. Jacquelyn is our favorite waitress. She takes great care of us! If you want a fun place to hang out and eat some good pizza give this place a try. You won't be disappointed!

Moving to lockhart soon and picked a restaurant to try. Food was amazing! I got the meatball sub and my husband got the pizza with goat cheese. We shared each item and it was delicious. Can't wait to try more from this place.

From the moment you enter, the smell of fresh, housemade pizza engulfs every one of your senses. This is a pizza "gem" in Lockhart, Tx you simply must experience.

I cannot tell you enough how much I LOVE Loop & Lil's Pizza. Service is great, food is excellent and the owners are the best. We got our son baptized and we wanted to go somewhere causal and laid back for lunch. There was 11 of us including the baby. We planned to go Saturday at lunch time so I sent them a message on Facebook to give them a heads up and see if they could reserve a place for us. I received a prompt response and it was no problem. They also suggested that we put a pre order in so that they can get our pizzas started since we were a large group. I made our reservation for between 12-12:30 pm. We got finished with the baptism way earlier than scheduled so we just headed over. They open right at 11 am and we figured if we had to wait it was no big deal. I believe Chris is the gentleman that was working the counter/bar area. He was so nice when we arrived. We all ordered beer and beverages. The owner Miranda came to greet us as well. I told her that we were early and it was no big deal. She had a note about our order and she said they would get it started right away. We started off with two salads - the Greek and Caesar. Both great, fresh and pretty ingredients, dressed perfectly. Since we were a large group we ordered a couple of different pizzas. All of them are made to order and cooked to perfection. There's a nice crunch and chew on the crust. Did I tell you that I LOVE this place? Save the Brock - This is basically you're meat lovers pizza with Pepperoni, Italian Sausage, Bacon and Ham. This was such a hit we ordered a second one of these. I always love it with the edges of pepperoni get crispy. There's lots of meat on this but it's not overwhelming. A perfect balance of all the meats. The Mary Margaret - This is your Margherita pizza. A classic, simple and oh so delicious pizza. One of my favorites when I'm not in the mood for all the pizza flavor combos. The Old Plum Creek - A great veggie option that has Mushrooms, Black Olives, Roma Tomatoes, Bell Peppers, Red Onion, Spinach and Artichokes. All the ingredients are so fresh and this has a great variety. Smokehouse - Being that this is Lockhart home of all the BBQ that had to have a tribute to the town. This is a great version of a BBQ pizza but with little twist. This has Smoked Pork Sausage, Red Onions, Red Bell Pepper, Pickled Jalapenos and BBQ Sauce. The pickled jalapenos add a nice kick to this. I had not been here since they first open. They opened up the space a bit more and added more murals on the wall. The space is so nice, cozy and casual. In a town of BBQ this is a nice addition and switch up to San Marcos. The food never disappoints. You can really tell that the owners Richard and Miranda have put their heart into the place and really care about what they are doing.

Don't come here if you're trying to stay away from the big city. It's a shame! Close to closing time but never had time to order

In the heart of the little town of Lockhart, there is a gourmet pizza parlour whose menu includes specialty pizzas, customizable build-your-own pizzas, calzones, sandwiches, stromboli, salad and several rotating Texas beers on tap. It's a quaint little place, one you wouldn't expect to find in a town that size. The service is always good at Loop & Lil's, and so are the pizzas. I visited this little pizza place at least half a dozen times already since moving south of Austin and every pizza we ordered was always great, whether we built it ourselves or chose from the existing menu. The ingredients are always fresh, the wait is very reasonable, and the staff is always friendly. I read some reviews mentioning the pizzas being greasy, but I never personally had that experience. Perhaps some ingredients are more likely to produce such results? We go heavy on the cheese and veggies, but avoid the meat. That might be a factor at play. Loop & Lil's calls itself the "best slice in town" - in my opinion, they're one of the best slices in the Austin metropolitan area, among my top 5 favorite pizza parlours in Texas. I'm a fan!

Not your average pizza. Service was a bit slow at first, but they were pretty busy. Quickly made up by the mouth watering taste of a hand tossed, nice meaty chunks, homemade Italian and fresh greens.... they won't disappoint. We're coming back. I guess my text was too long for each photo, I'm a detailed guy. "build your own" pepperoni, Italian sausage, and meat balls with green/red peppers, onions, mushrooms, roma tomatos and black olives on half.... and the other was a Starter (appetizer)Dill Pickle Cheese Bread. It was really good.

Great spot for good food in Lockhart! The salads are amazing. The stromboli is filling and tasty. And of course the pizza and garlic/cheese bread is perfect. They have a full bar, so grab a drink and a pizza and enjoy your day in Lockhart. We frequent this place sometimes twice a week!

If you are a pizza snob or connoisseur then this will be an extremely happy place for you. The dough is perfect and it's baked into a perfect crust. Absolutely amazing pie.
