"Loop Espresso Club in Eagle Rock has a lot in common with a cool bar. There’s a long wooden countertop, a record player spinning vinyl, and fancy drinks that require as many steps as a craft cocktail. Consider this an ideal place to diverge from the standard americano with drinks like espresso-spiked Filipino hot chocolate, Vietnamese egg coffees dusted with cocoa, and double shots crowned with honey-flavored cream." - sylvio martins, garrett snyder

"It would be a little weird to take Zoom calls from a happening bar, but that’s kind of what working at Loop Espresso Club feels like. This sleek Eagle Rock cafe has a long wooden countertop with vinyl-lined shelves and TVs broadcasting sports and assorted anime. Set up shop at the bar next to patrons in vintage t-shirts and order one of the bar’s caffeinated concoctions, like hojicha mocha lattes or espresso topped with a dollop of honey-sweetened cream. Or if you need back support or juice for your Macbook, there’s ample booth seating against the wall with outlets." - nikko duren, brant cox, sylvio martins

"Loop Espresso Club is a cool, sleek coffee shop in Eagle Rock with the personality of a cool, sleek bar. There’s a long wooden countertop with matching vinyl-lined shelves and customers in vintage t-shirts sipping espresso con panna. Loop is more of a coffee date place. There’s ample booth seating against the wall, and the bar has two TVs broadcasting, oddly, sports and various cartoons. And it’s somewhere you can diverge from your standard americano with things like colorful matcha refreshers with pink coconut water, hojicha mochas, and various espresso concoctions topped with flavored creams (get the subtly sweet honey, which doesn’t overpower the double shot)." - Sylvio Martins

New Espresso Bar just opened, could be the new go to spot! Great coffee, environment and service. We tried the Sesame Espresso, Egg Yolk Coffee and regular latte. Want to try their Vietnamese coffee next time! The owner Dom walked us through the menu options and checked on us when he wasn’t busy serving customers. Seems like a good place to work for a couple hours, saw some outlets and the music isn’t overwhelming.

Cute little cafe discovery! Love the minimalistic tokoyo style decor! I ordered the matcha coconut refresher. Two of my favorite ingredients are matcha and coconut. Great combination!! The drink was delicious. Refreshing, creamy, and not overly sweet.

Loop showcases an Italian concept that’s all too rare in the US, which is the proper coffee bar. It seems as though the space used to be an actual bar, as there’s a row of unused taps behind the counter. The espresso was lovely, and as always, serving it with a glass of sparkling water always takes it to elite level. I got a fruit tart as well that was perfectly sweet. The space was packed when I arrived, so the vibe was quite bustling. My only note is to get rid of the TVs; they scream “sports bar”, which I don’t think is what the vibe is intended to be.

Google
Okay. Tried 4 different drinks now (3 cold and 1 hot drinks) and they’re all insanely delicious and well balanced. Every drink I’ve had has a wonderful balance of acid and fat with just a touch of sweetness. Honestly don’t think you can go wrong with any of their drinks. One of my new favorite coffee shops in LA Pricey but everything is now and you get amazing quality!

Classic authentic Tokyo coffee. The closest thing to a real Italian coffee experience here is being able to enjoy it right at the bar, just like in Tokyo. It's all about savoring that authentic taste and atmosphere. The barista is nice and friendly. I enjoyed the Espresso Canela and Espresso Hazelnut at Loop Espresso Club. They also had good taste in music. Among my favorite tracks, Oasis was playing, adding a delightful touch to my coffee experience. The combination of good music and great coffee made my visit truly enjoyable. I look forward to returning to explore more of their espresso-based drinks.

“There’s always room for improvement” Food & drink is a must try. Service is top notch! Atmosphere is great & cozy. Need more table and chairs the hall way going to rest room is huge and it can be utilized.

Google
Vibe is amazing! Lots of seatings. Friendly service! They are happy to help and enthusiastic about their speciality drinks. Speciality drinks (espresso shots) are amazing!! You sit a the world slows down while you enjoy every sip of that coffee. Latte and Vietnamese latte was average tho! Overall I would definitely recommend the speciality drinks!

Google
Great menu with lots of unique drinks ranging from decked out espressos to the classics. Space isn’t too large, but it doesn’t feel tight. Might be difficult to snag a seat, though, based on how popular it is.

Yelp
I came here a couple of times over the past month and I absolutely loved it. Some might say the interior is pretentious, but I like the sleek/restaurant vibe for a cafe. They typically have loft playing in the background and classic movies on their screens so you can watch and dissociate a bit. WHAT I GOT Black sesame cortado: I do wish that this was a bit more sesamy-y. Vietnamese iced coffee: doesn't taste very traditional, which I figured since it's not a Vietnamese place, but it IS strong - be wary if you have to sleep haha Everything croissant: they have the cream cheese filling in the middle- which I loved for a less messy experience WORKABILITY The weekends get pretty loud and packed- understandable. Steady foot traffic and dogs (this spot is dog friendly!). I would say it's better to come do work here during the weekday, when it's a bit more calm. PARKING Street parking, both metered and non metered in the surrounding blocks.

Yelp
In the coffee-saturated neighborhood of Eagle Rock, Loop Espresso Club definitely stood out! The space feels like you've stepped into a listening club in Tokyo. Drinks: Specializing in espresso, their menu puts an emphasis on cortados and cappuccinos. I was partial to their miel cream tops! Sad to hear that it's closed, but hopeful they find a new location.

Yelp
I had high hopes walking into this place, but oh, what a letdown. We arrived around 11AM on a Saturday, and the place was jam-packed, sardine-style. The order and waiting areas were in a bit of a free-for-all, leaving everyone looking a bit puzzled on where to stand. The interior, though, was a pleasant surprise. Designed like an upscale cocktail bar with vintage touches, it's definitely one of those "instagrammable" spots with that effortless cool. There's plenty of seating if you're lucky to grab one, though navigating the narrow walkway feels like a contact sport. I couldn't make it down the hall without grazing a few elbows. We finally ordered the Espresso Loop and the Espresso Black Sesame, both sounding like sophisticated twists on classic espresso. But as it turns out, the taste didn't quite match the vibe. Instead of the rich espresso flavor we were hoping for, both drinks tasted more like watery milk with a whisper of coffee. Mine was hot, my boyfriend's was iced, and honestly, neither was worth the wait. It's disappointing for a place that calls itself an Espresso Club, to say the least. Maybe it was just an off day, but it'll be some time before I give it another shot. Here's hoping Loop finds its flavor and finesse!

Yelp
My bf and I were going on a walk around the street when we made our destination here. It definitely feels like a new environment walking in! I love the aesthetics of the place, the coziness, the music, the retro television and decor. It was definitely a vibe here. It does get busy since a lot of people seem to take up the seats to work on their laptops, very few come here to chit chat. I just really liked the vibe here and it definitely makes you want to stick around! I ordered up front and tried the Miel Cream Top. It didn't take too long for my drink to be made, and I luckily found a table! Taking in my first sip of the cream top, woooo it tasted like FALL SEASON. It made the experience much more cozier. Besides the cream top, my drink was surprisingly pretty strong haha. I had to mix the cream top a lot with my drink so it could balance out the bitterness of the espresso and the sweetness of the cream top. I really liked the drink! I would definitely revisit to try more drinks here. Great place!

Ghalya M.

Yelp
Obsessed with this place - the coffee, the service, and the ambiance! My go to is either the black sesame or trung (egg) espresso drinks. I like to come before the rush and revel in the quiet while enjoying every sip of my beautiful coffee concoction. The place is aesthetically pleasing too. They offer pastries if you want a bite. Plenty of street parking. Best part - they are dog friendly!

Yelp
#137 in my Coffeeshop Chronicles. In hushed whispers, my friend used the word "pretentious" to describe Loop's interior design. At first glance, I was inclined to agree. However, the unique aesthetic - that's more reminiscent of an upscale bar in a hotel lobby than a coffeeshop - quickly grew on me. To put it simply, Loop Espresso Club is more than a mere coffeeshop, it's an experience. Inspired by Tokyo's prominent espresso bars, Loop offers premium coffee in an environment that combines the modern elegance of a lounge with the warmth of a cozy coffeeshop. To that end, I quite enjoyed sitting at the stunning bar and sipping on a latte to start off my day - it felt like I was in an exclusive coffee speakeasy! After perusing the menu, I asked if I could order their espresso black sesame as a latte. Though it's unclear in the menu, they're able to make most of their espresso club drinks into lattes. I'm happy I asked because, wow, that black sesame latte was incredible! The espresso was rich and smooth, and I enjoyed the roasted profile of the sesame flavor, as opposed to my usual preference for lattes on the sweeter side. All in all, I enjoyed my visit to Loop and I hope to stop by again soon.

Yelp
I was in the neighborhood and wanted to find a local coffee shop to get some work done. I found this quaint spot on Yelp and was excited to give it a try. I was easily able to find a table, and I enjoyed the ambiance of the coffee shop. I also found the menu selection to be enticing. I ordered a chocolate croissant and a hazelnut espresso at the counter, total came out to be $12 (acceptable for the area). Once they call your name, you pick it up at the front. It was about 8:30am, and the chocolate croissant was definitely not fresh. The bread flakes were hard and dry, and the chocolate inside the bread was stuck to the side. Honestly it was disgusting and I left most of it untouched. The espresso was alright, but too sweet for my taste. I also didn't like the whole hazelnut chunks in my drink. Maybe this is a preference thing, but I should've ordered a different drink. Other than the stale croissant, the coffee shop itself was inviting. If I were to come back, I'll probably try a different drink and not eat here. Parking is plenty along the side. I would avoid parking at one of the meters, as the side streets are free.

Yelp
I've seen this place all over social media and I saw the vibes and HAD to come. After a tumultuous start to my Saturday morning of being almost late for an appointment, I decided that coffee was required in order to start the rest of my day. The interior is so cute, a mid century modern meets kissaten dream! I loved how cozy and relaxed the space is. I could see myself working here if I lived in the area. Me and my partner got our own respective coffees (no sharing duh). I opted for the espresso trung and he ordered the espresso black sesame. Our coffee was prepared promptly and we were able to relax at one of the indoor tables. The espresso trung was silky, sweet, and rich which is perfect for those with a sweet tooth. I think for my personal preference, I would order another shot to balance the sweetness. The coffee was also on point, no burnt beans here. Smooth coffee with a good body. My partner enjoyed his espresso black sesame which was more nutty and flavorful (okay I lied about sharing, I had a small sip). I would like the potions to be a little larger coffee-wise but I still think the prices are pretty compatible to other coffee shops in the area. All things considered, I'd be happy to return again!

Yelp
I absolutely adore this coffee shop! I will drive from the valley to Eagle rock to have this masterpiece. The menu options are amazing. They have different selections, plus their signature drinks. My go to has been the chocolate latte as it's so wonderfully good! They are always busy as they should because they sell good coffee and the staff is extremely friendly. It's a very chill coffee shop, but also busy. Parking is a little complicated as it's a pretty busy street, you can find parking in the residentials or if you get lucky on the main street.

Yelp
Sleek new coffee shop with deliciously unique espresso flavors and phenomenal croissants - we had a great first experience! The vibe is upscale, hip, and minimalist but somehow still warm and welcoming - a great place to relax and chat or get some work done. Met some girlfriends here for coffee and breakfast and loved everything we tried! The biggest challenge for our group of four was seating bc this spot is super popular but we got lucky with a couple of seats at the bar eventually. I tried their unique Espresso Black Sesame which is espresso, black sesame, walnut and cream - it's smooth, complex and decadent with a nice flavor profile. You can get it iced or even in latte form - I had it just as a regular espresso and it was fantastic- one of the best espressos I've ever had. Per the lovely staff, they get their beans imported from Italy and the brew was very delightful! For my breakfast, I tried the Everything Croissant and it was everything I hoped for and more lol!! It has all the seeds and spices on top of a buttery, super flaky croissant and is positively brimming with rich cream cheese inside - it's sublime! Our party also tried a plain croissant and their croissants truly are awesome - professionally done and perfect. And we tried a Matcha Coconut Refresher - aesthetically lovely and colorful and refreshing as well. It's a pink coconut water concoction on the bottom topped with a frothy thick matcha cream on top. The coconut water is the prominent flavor profile with the matcha being pretty mild and nice pieces of coconut inside as well. I enjoyed it. Even though a steady stream of eager customers poured in and out during our entire visit, the staff were attentive, friendly, and excited to share their creations with us. Prices are what you'd expect for the area. There's a wall of tables with booths and chairs, one set of large cushy chairs in back and a long bar full of stools as well. The bar seating has two TVs. Order at the counter and they'll serve your order at the bar. They offer free WiFi. Parking is all street parking in the surrounding area - some free and some metered. It can be a challenge to find a spot sometimes, especially during the busier times of day - but people are always coming and going so a spot usually opens up. I'll definitely be back to try more espresso creations and another Everything Croissant - and probably another sweet pastry out of their pastry case - they all looked lovely!

Yelp
Came to try off of TikTok recommendations and was overall pleased with the experience. The drinks are different which was fun to try, but not something I would want to come back to frequently on my weekend coffee excursions! Lots of seating which is very nice!

Yelp
Breakfast in Eagle Rock, Los Angeles, California... Some really nice LA Yelpers became my good friends. They took time out from their busy work schedules to meet for coffee on a Thursday morning. I was a bit late because I miscalculated the distance and time. Then, I had to find street parking... uhg! I had to be "creative"... shhh! Don't ask! My friends found seats at the bar. Every regular seat and table was taken! Wow! This is a popular place!!! The decor is elegant and modern! The cashier was very friendly and efficient! We chatted about Thailand a bit! He was very knowledgeable about the menu! I got a Matcha Coconut Refresher... because I saw a picture of it when we were deciding where to meet. I voted for Loop Espresso Club because none of us had reviews for this Hot New Business! Haha! I thought that I should get something to eat, too. The plain croissant called out to me. It was gigantic! The crust was light and flakey, and the interior was airy, moist, and yummy! My Matcha Coconut Refresher was pretty! Sam noticed some "white things floating on the top". I thought she was referring to the ice cubes, but no... it was bits of young Coconut! Mmm! I liked the pink Coconut drink, but I should have asked about the matcha foam layer. I guess it was cream (dairy). LOL! I suffered later because I have lactose intolerance. That's ok. It tasted wonderful!

Yelp
We were very excited to come here. Came in on a Saturday afternoon, and it was PACKED. Parking is not difficult (at least, not for us, we found parking right out front, maybe we were just lucky?). The coffee is fine. I got a cappuccino with oat milk and my partner got a black sesame latte (which she said was very good). We also got some ube madeleines which felt a bit underbaked (flaked off on the bottom), but the flavor was very good. The ambiance is very bustling, and not super peaceful (which seemed to be the tone they were going for), so depending on what you're looking for in a coffee house, this may or may not be it. Bathrooms are down the hall out back and multi-stalled, which is nice.

Yelp
Loop Espresso Club is a classy high-end coffee shop on Colorado blvd in Eagle Rock section of LA. There are only a few coffee shops in the area and I gotta say LEC has the best interior sleek classy design and layout. They serve a modest selection of coffee, tea and pastries albeit limited. I came (as a first time customer) on a cool Sunday morning to grab a coffee. You'll immediate notice upon entry the vibrant atmosphere and their wooden full bar. Similarly, their chic light fixtures, furnitures and music records were easily noticeable. I ordered a Cappuccino, and it was good. I liked it but the price, however, not so much. lol. It seems this coffee shop is very popular amongst the locals, it was already at full capacity. Service was on point. Coffee/Tea and pastries were as high as the consumer price index. Parking (metered and public lots) are available. Wifi available. Collectively, this coffee shop is the créam dela cream of coffee shops in Eagle Rock. I would definitely come back but not anytime soon. I recommend this coffee spot.

Yelp
Needed to try a new coffee shop in Eagle Rock so, I kept running down Colorado until I stumbled across "Loop espresso club" super chill & dope place. I think this is really like a coffee bar without the alcohol. It really gives like hip hop vibes with a classic jazz twist. High Class basement vibes. Esthetics is giving you could have a business meeting here, date, or catch up with friends. I also am not an espresso person but I love black sesame so, I tried the black sesame espresso & I loved it. Baristas were really friendly. All ages were here enjoying the shop & I love the fact they played hip hop but not too loud and old school classic vibes. Even asked me how was my drink :) I was at the bar enjoying the vibes sipping my espresso! Definitely have to try if you live in the area

Brianna C.

Yelp
Wanted to update my review because the staff members I've come across recently have been so pleasant and warm, friendly and kind. Their coffee is still one of the best ever. Strong espresso flavor in my lattes which I love!

Sarah L.

Yelp
I found out about LOOP Espresso Club through a social media ad earlier this year, and I finally got a chance to visit a couple weekends ago for a solo breakfast & study session. The outside of the shop is understated with only signage on the door. The inside of the shop has eclectic furnishing with a fusion of Japanese & American designs. I liked the aesthetic and vibe of the shop. Also, they have free goodies at the front counter (stickers & cup sleeves!) and clean, spacious restrooms at the back of the shop. When I arrived around 8:50am, the shop was already very busy with people seated, socializing, and waiting for their orders. I found a seat by the window, where there's a narrow counter and some bar stools. During the hour that I was at LEC, there was frequent foot traffic and moderate noise, but they played good lo-fi background music, which helped me focus and study. For my drink, I chose the Espresso Black Sesame, which had a strong espresso, and light nutty and sesame flavors. I was wondering if it'd be grainy at the bottom, but the ingredients were blended well, making the drink creamy and smooth. Make sure to ask the staff what food items they have for the day! I chose the Vegan Lemon Poppyseed muffin, which had a dense, moist, and lemony bread, and was very sweet with the glaze on top. LEC's menu is small, but I think each item is unique, especially the Espresso Club and Signature items. I want to try more, so I hope to visit again soon, especially during a less busy time.

Yelp
I happened to come across Loop Espresso Club by accident while driving through Eagle Rock Tuesday Morning. This is a very clean and chic little coffee bar with earthy vibes and chill music to boot. A large, gorgeous wooden countertop where patrons can sip on their beverages runs the entire length of the coffee shop. Behind the large wooden counter, baristas are busy with their craft while sweet and savory pastries are warmed in the oven just waiting to be served. The menu is simple; coffee shop classics, espresso based beverages as well as non-coffee beverages are on the menu. I decided to break from my usual black cold brew and opted for the Espresso Black Sesame and a savory pastry. Espresso Black Sesame: 5 stars! Espresso, black sesame seeds, walnut, cream. I made a special request and asked them to pour this over ice. This drink is delicious. Just a touch of sweetness (not much), and richness from the ground walnut and black sesame round out this velvety mouth-feel creation. I would order this drink again. Everything croissant with cream cheese filling: 5 stars I feel like LA is on the verge of a savory pastry renaissance and I love it. Not too many places offer savory pastries worth ordering, let alone savory croissants made the proper french way. Great lamination and proper proofing makes for a perfectly flaky croissant. Black sesame seeds and crunchy, flaky salt compliment the smooth cream cheese that awaits inside. The pastries are served warm via toaster oven and not a sesame seed or flake of salt was left behind on my plate. I would love to try the sage cheddar croissant next time I am in the area. Service: 5 star Exceptional service, excellent coffee craftsmanship. Go to Loop Espresso club. Bring your laptop or book, grab a seat at the bar (or sink into a comfy chair at the end of the bar like I did) and enjoy the ritual of morning coffee and pastry. The only downside is that there is no wifi, so bring your mobile hot spot for you laptop people. Plenty of street parking.

Yelp
Came in for the first time this week and it was terrific ! My drink was delicious and the space is beautiful. The staff was super friendly and help. I am already planning to go back this week to meet a colleague. Great place

Yelp
I went on Yelp to look for a coffee shop I have not been to and had seen Loop Espresso Club pop up on my search. Little shock to me because I thought Eagle Rock had enough coffee shops but I did not think about what coffee shop Eagle Rock was missing (Loop was the answer). Loop Espresso Club will bring you from LA to Tokyo with the aesthetic minimalistc look. They offer a variety of espresso drinks such as Black Sesame, Trung (Egg), and Tsokolate. Of course, if Lattes are not your thing, they have other options for everybody. For my first time, I just got the Vietnamese Iced Coffee and Everything Jalapeño Croissant. The Vietnamese coffee was just the right amount of sweetness and bitterness. Of course the Jalapeño Cream Cheese Croissant was just right to pair with the coffee. I got to meet and chat with the owner, Dom, who let me know that he got his inspiration from his visits to Japan. A cool guy who is looking to change lives one cup of coffee at a time. Parking is street parking on Colorado or you can go into the residential to park!

Yelp

Yelp
it's crazy how the line here never stops! it gets busy quick, and it's quite nosy, so you can study here but it might be a little distracting. matcha latte - not the best i've had and a little overpriced but it was pretty standard matcha coconut refresher - honestly a little funky. you don't get much matcha, and the coconut is interesting... there isn't much parking, and with how busy it gets, i don't know if i'll be back, but i will say the interior here is so beautiful. it has a speakeasy aesthetic and some bar seating, but it's a coffee place so that's super cool

Leslie T.

Yelp
Loop Espresso Club will transport you to a Tokyo Kissaten with its walnut furnishings and lo-fi pop jazz filling the space. Most patrons on our weekend visit were working on their laptops, so if you're looking for a space to work it seems like a good option. On this visit we sat at the bar counter and watched He Man in the background on loop. We ordered the cream miel top iced coffee, Vietnamese iced coffee and two croissants. The sage cheddar and chocolate croissants ranged in price from $6-$7.25. Both croissants were nice and flaky but flavor wise were mild; I would recommend skipping these unless you really want something to nibble on while you sip your coffee. The cream miel top iced coffee was balanced; the cold brew not acidic and the cream decadent but mixed in with the cold brew tasted nice. My partner enjoyed his Vietnamese coffee; it was not too sweet. Look forward to visiting this spot again in the future.

Yelp
Want swank la vibes? Come here - the espresso is smooth and I'm pleasantly surprised the prices aren't over priced - can't wait to try more. I got the black sesame cortado

Megan L.

Yelp
Apparently Loop Espresso Club gets their inspiration from Japan's espresso bars! I love the interior, and I understand why it's become all the hype recently. I ordered the black sesame cortado, and I felt like it lacked a little bit of flavor until I asked for more milk to turn it into a latte. I really enjoyed it afterwards. My friends got black sesame lattes though, and theirs were delicious. Light nice flavor with a good sense of the black sesame flavor. There's a lot of seating inside, and many people were studying or working so I think it's a good productive cafe.

Lori A.

Yelp
Street cleaning on Thursdays for a few hours, so very difficult to find parking on Thursdays specifically. However, that didn't stray away the crowd because there were only two spots left to sit indoors. I think the coffee was pretty standard, but that's nice too because you know what you're getting upon ordering. I asked for whole milk and got a latte over ice. The milk they use is Straus, an excellent brand. What's interesting about this shop is the interior because it gives big bear/lake arrowhead vibes. It's also set up like a lounge/bar-like feel, so that's an interesting aesthetic since coffee technically does give a buzz.

Nikki B.

Yelp
I met my darling gal pals here for a coffee date. Having lived in the area, I remember when this place was the 1954 Pub. My friend said this place was bougie. I guess in terms of coffee shops she is correct. The new owners kept the original wood bar, which makes the ambience a bit more upscale & hip. However, it's far from pretentious. Inspired by Tokyo's vibrant espresso bars, the aesthetic of Loop Espresso Club combines modern elegance with Japanese charm and a welcoming vibe. The place was packed with students taking advantage of the free WiFi, so we grabbed a seat at the bar. Place your order at the counter and they will call out your selection when it's ready. Since I couldn't stay long because I had to get back to work, I got an Americano to go. The other ladies ordered an Espresso Black Sesame, an Espresso Black Sesame Latte, and a Matcha Coconut Refresher. My Americano was nicely balanced. A perfect ratio of espresso & hot water. Their beans are imported from Italy, so they weren't bitter. I had a sip of the Black Sesame Latte. I really liked the nuttiness that the sesame added to the beverage. (The espresso drinks can be ordered as a latte.) The layers of the Matcha Coconut Refresher reminded me of a beautiful flower. My friend said it tasted as good as it looked. A regular and an Everything Cream Cheese Croissant were also purchased. They both looked light, fluffy, & flaky. The Everything Croissant was stuffed with cream cheese. The verdict was, they were both exceptionally good. I will return to try one of their signature espressos and a delicious pastry. *Cashless *Free street & metered parking.

Yelp
Drinks here are so good!!! They are pricey but delicious. Everyone here is dressed well, it's busy inside, and they had the Olympics on two tvs. I paid $9 for a sesame latte with almond milk. However, it was one of the best lattes I've ever had, so-worth it? I appreciated the unique menu items here like an orange latte and a black sesame latte. I love coffee that isn't sweet, so the flavors have to be more creative. Definitely a bustling place to go, and very cute. We thought the plumbing pipes might be broken bc it smelled a lil nasty in there, but this is definitely a coffee bar that could double as a DJ event

Yelp
Loop Espresso Club is a new spot in Eagle Rock that truly lives up to its name. It's an espresso bar for espresso lovers, located right on Colorado Blvd's main stretch. Loop offers top-notch espresso drinks in an upbeat and trendy atmosphere that is sure to leave you wanting more. They have a nice assortment of espresso mixtures on their menu. I highly recommend the Espresso Hazelnut with cream. They toss a couple of actual hazelnuts in the espresso for a nice crunchy surprise. You can taste the quality of the espresso beans and brew with every sip. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, so feel free to ask for their recommendations. If you need a pick-me-up, I would certainly recommend Loop if you're a true espresso lover.

Yelp
One of the best espresso's in the region. Chill vibe with pastries too if you get there early enough for some to still exist. Also pretty exquisite matcha if that's your caffeine of choice!

Yelp
Good studying ambiance. It's street parking. There's WiFi just ask for the password Outlets are under some of the tables with benches. Hojicha latte was good; can't speak on any other drink.

Yelp
What a beautiful space! My sister and I stopped by Loop Espresso Club for an afternoon coffee and both enjoyed our drinks. The cafe itself definitely has a "sophisticated" feel to it - with bar seating and tables. It was pretty busy so we didn't end up hanging out after we received our drinks. I ordered the Espresso Tsokolate and my sister had the Espresso Canela on ice. I normally don't go for espresso drinks, but this was out of this world. The combination of chocolate, cream, and espresso was perfectly balanced and despite being a small amount, left me satisfied. My sister enjoyed her drink as well. Although we did not purchase any, their pastries looked delicious as well. I highly recommend Loop if you're in the area and in need of some coffee!

Yelp
Such a cute spot with so much to do in the area. Beautiful beautiful beautiful inside! Came with my baby and got the choconut latte w oat milk. I chugged it it was amazing! A few food options, got a croissant which was yummy also. I love that they have a changing table in the bathroom! So nice for parents.

Yelp
Cream top isnt very sweet as it is americano based. Plenty of street parking and free wifi

Yelp
I like coffee from places that know how to decorate. This spot is top tier, the crowd was respectful and the entire spot smelled exactly like a coffee shop should! The cinnamon poptart is a MUST PURCHASE

Yelp
Try the everything cream cheese croissant That's all!! We had a cappuccino and a Cortado. Honestly the vibe is awesome and staff were friendly. Unfortunately, I'm spoiled with the types of beans I've had so I was expecting something better with a name like Loop Espresso Club. Overall was a great experience with a great vibe.

Yelp
It's refreshing to find a quality coffee spot in Eagle Rock that breaks away from the usual Starbucks or generic mom-and-pop cafes. The Loop Espresso Club fills a niche that's been missing in the neighborhood. While the pastries fell into the mid-tier range, the standout was the almond croissant. It had a pleasant almond filling, reminiscent of Chinese almond cookies which I happen to enjoy, although the pastry itself was a bit rough. I sampled three drinks: the Matcha Coconut Refresher, Hojicha Latte, and Vietnamese Coffee. The Hojicha Latte unfortunately lacked flavor and didn't offer the usual sweet option typically found elsewhere. On the brighter side, the Matcha Coconut Refresher stole the show for me. The creamy matcha top blended surprisingly well with the coconut water, creating a unique and enjoyable combination. As for the Vietnamese Coffee, it delivered a robust kick with a hint of condensed milk sweetness, offering a nice contrast to the refreshing Matcha Coconut Refresher. Overall, The Loop Espresso Club brings a welcome addition to Eagle Rock's coffee scene with its unique drinks, even if the pastries might not reach the same high standard.

Yelp

Yelp
I was initially so excited to discover this new spot for espresso! Unfortunately this is one of those places that only seems appealing from the lens of TikTok and IG influencers. When you first walk in, no one deigns to greet you and everyone working at the bar is either scowling or acting too cool for school when you go up to order. No introduction to the menu, not even a "how can I help you?" Just a blank stare. I mean, not even a smile? I work in healthcare and no matter how overworked or demanding the patients are, we never fail to at least offer a modicum of hospitality. It's the weekend, and this is a cafe for goodness' sake! As you take your seat to wait for your drinks, the first thing you notice is the endless swarms of flies. It's quite unpleasant to continuously swat at the flies and it prevents any enjoyment of your drinks. These are big, fat flies too, probably feeding on all the trash and leftover pastries in this place... it really makes you question the cleanliness and hygiene practices of this place and its workers. The espressos that were ordered were the black sesame espresso, the tsokolate espresso, and the loop espresso. My total came out to $20 including a 15% tip. All three looked great, again just at a surface level, but were all very sweet. The best one was probably the tsokolate as the bitterness of the cocoa helped balance out the sweetness. All were cloying and thick however, and that's not what I personally enjoy about espresso. Maybe if we had had more guidance or recommendations from the completely reticent staff... I'm glad we tried this place - it's important to find out whether places are really as they appear on social media. We won't be back.

Yelp
I'm happy this place exists, here's my honest feedback from two visits. Most important things: 1. Coffee was good, cappuccino was Chuggable. 2. Servers were friendly and seemingly kept busy keeping the place nice. Less important things: 1. I personally don't like the music that has been playing both times, kinda clubby mixes which I guess I just didn't expect for 10am on a Monday 2. It's somewhat dark inside and there's no outdoor seating--nothing inherently wrong here, I have a positive bias in favor of open, sunny spaces, but it's not an option for all real estate. 3. It's not obvious when you walk in where to order, and I feel like the bar seating itself doesn't feel as inviting to sit at as it could. 4. Behind the bar looks nice, I would come for a drink 5. The tabled seating is pretty basic and full of laptop people so not a lot of space for chilling and hanging out. That's ok, just take note this is what to expect

Yelp
Went here for the first time and it was slammed, and quite loud. I took it as a good sign that the drinks were quality. I had some trouble getting the attention of any of the three baristas behind the bar, but after a bit I was able to order. The folks working here were nice enough, but not super welcoming. They were quite busy though. From the images I had seen so far, I was expecting sort of a lo-fi vibe. The room is filled with vinyls, but none were playing while I dined. One TV had a screensaver running on it, and the other had a car race playing. It wasn't quite what I expected in terms of vibe. In addition, you can feel the pressure of other folks waiting to take your seat the whole time you're there, so if you're looking for a laid back space, this ain't it. (Maybe I'll have to try again at opening time) All that being said, the decor is very cute with a lot of warm wood paneling, antique looking accents and hipstery glassware. The drinks were quite good. By default they come with whole milk and are unsweetened, so you will need to state if you prefer non dairy milk etc. One of our drinks was just an iced matcha latte - it was clearly made with high quality, vegetal tasting matcha. If you don't like "grassy" flavors it might not be for you. The Iced Houjicha Mocha Latte comes with a heavy dusting of cocoa powder on top, not incorporated into the liquid. I wouldn't mind a bit as a garnish for looks, but my personal preference would be to have it mixed in the milk. It was a bit odd. Either you sip with the cocoa floating on top and try not to breathe in, to avoid accidentally inhaling cocoa -- or you mix it in and deal with the lumps and bumps. You'll never get it to be smooth. That being said, the flavors were tasty. I wish it had come lightly sweetened by default, since it was labeled a mocha. But I appreciate that they're trying to do something different. Drinks 4/5 Service 3/5 Want to give this place another shot sometime, and try their espresso.

Yelp
2 stars for the ambience, decor, and just overall aesthetic of the place! Appreciated the ample seating and they offered WiFi. I went the first time to try their popular drinks, I picked a vanilla latte ($8) and found it to be ok. Nothing special and especially not for $8... I went back today to give them another chance. Got their matcha latte and asked for some vanilla in it to sweeten it ($8). Same as before, nothing special. Matcha flavor wasn't as strong and tasted more milky (I got regular milk). Definitely not worth the price again. In the same visit, tried their sesame cappuccino $7 rounded up. There was no sesame taste at all. Tasted like a regular cappuccino with some sesame at the top. Overall, felt like: - drinks were overpriced for what it was. Drinks didn't taste as they claimed - like the other reviews have shared, I also agree and have experienced that the service wasn't that great. I'm not expecting excitement or overly enthusiasm because I get it - you're at work but nothing about the service made me feel welcomed but instead bothersome. They didn't even start off with "what can I get you" but rather I had to initiate that. So while this space is great for the space to do work or meet up with friends - I just don't think the price was worth it and won't be coming back after 2 visits!

Yelp
Stopped by this spot after eating at Lola Cafe nearby for brunch. The Vietnamese coffee was on point and not too overpowering and bitter like some other ones I've had. The balance was right and it was quite refreshing. Only minor complaint would be that there was too much ice, but not a big deal. The ambience inside is also very nice with dim lighting and wooden paneled walls. I saw a lot of people there studying with their laptops during my visit there. Definitely worth a stop for a quick energy boost!

Yelp
Vibe, flavor and good service !check! A coffee bar with good espresso! I like my coffee medium/dark, slightly bitter, chocolate notes and this place delivers. I've tried their espresso black sesame and espresso tsokolate. The espresso tsokolate was my favorite! Definitely recommend for a cute spot to do work or catch up with a friend

Yelp
I give one star for the ambiance alone. The cafe is clean and elegant. Similar to a bar but for coffee! However, the drinks were overpriced and subpar. One 16 oz beverage averaged to about 8$. We got a variety of different drinks. The espresso in the iced lattes were weak and clouded by the milk. The Vietnamese iced coffee was missing its creaminess and the barista did not fill the cup to the top. The matcha and cold brew were enjoyable but still a tad bit overpriced. The second star is earned for these two drinks! Try if you dare! Street parking available around the cafe.

Yelp
The next best cafe is here, with excellent drinks and a thoughtful interior. Definitely try the matcha coconut refresher -- the coconut water gives the drink a natural sweetness and body that's less heavy than a latte, and it's topped a creamy, deep matcha foam. I'm sure the standard matcha latte is great as well! The ambiance is tasteful and moody, with a decent amount of tables and bar seating. The WiFi worked well and there's a few outlets.

Yelp
A new favorite of mine. Coffee here is amazing - unique flavors and that espresso is "oh so strong." The phone number listed is not accurate. When I asked the staff about the correct phone number, they told me they didn't have line yet. They are in their soft opening state, so the menu is limited and per the staff, will change over time. Metered parking on the street. The interior ambiance is nice and relaxing. 1. Black Sesame Espresso (5/5) My favorite espresso by far. Strong espresso with a subtle nutty flavor. My new go-to 2. Espresso Trung (4/5) A combination of egg, cocoa and cream to create the delicious yellow foam on top of the espresso. It sounds bizarre, but actually tastes really good. It's not eggy and it doesn't have any egg stink. Minus 1 star only because it's a but too sweet for me. I will request for less sweet next time. 3. Matcha Coconut Refresher (4/5) It's definitely a REFRESHER. Perfect for hot days. The matcha is strong and I love the real coconut flakes at the bottom. It's hard to suck up/eat the coconut flakes though. You almost have to wait until you are done with the drink part before opening the lid to eat the coconut flakes. I'll be coming back for sure.

Yelp
Second time visiting and wish I lived closer! Favorites are the espresso tonic and espresso trung, but enjoyed all the drinks we received. Highest quality of ingredients Always been able to find a comfy seat and even when busy, the noise level and music volume is perfect. Obviously a beautiful set-up

Yelp
Great new coffee place with interesting drinks. I wish the staffs were a little bit friendlier to explain the drinks since they aren't your typical drinks. But the staffs seemed annoyed everytime i asked them a question and dont want to be bothered
