Opinion: The Best Time to Eat Out in NYC Is in the Summer - Eater NY

"A glass of Prosecco with a popsicle thrown in it should probably be illegal, and yet, I’m going to live my truth and admit that Loopy Doopy’s stupid creation is actually a Good Drink, like Italian ice but boozy." - Kayla Kumari Upadhyaya

Yelp
"It's like a reverse Affogato", my friend said. And she was right. The ice-pop in prosecco wasn't at all what I thought it would be. I was expecting an overly-sweet, overly-sugary ... mess ... but what we got was an incredibly well-balanced, uniquely-American rooftop-appropriate concoction that you should go try!

Yelp
Full disclaimer: this was a sponsor corporate event so I didn't pay for the food nor the drink. This rooftop bar is located on the 16th Floor of the Conrad hotel. It was booked for a private event so the lounge was open when we went for happy hour. It's a small area and very convenient if you are staying at the hotel. There are high top tables with chairs and no cushion as well as benches with cushions. I didn't sit on the cushion so couldn't tell you if it's comfortable or not. The servers for today were amazing. They checked if you need a refill or remove your glass when you are done. The view isn't the best compared to some other rooftops though it's nice to be high up. There is also shade so it's a bit cooler staying up there in the hot sun (especially with the beautiful weather instead of the forecasted potential rain). If you are in the neighborhood, go check it out and decide for yourself.

Yelp
When they first started with the i cream bar cocktail! Everyone was there for the gram. In general, rooftop inside a very clean hotel, pretty quiet area, but does not with the view of New York classic landmark, but it's a pretty good neighborhood bar after work and catchup with friends They get busy and service can be slow as you can understand.

Yelp
I love this rooftop bar that is on the top of the Conrad downtown. They have popsicle drinks (pop tails), and the popsicles have alcohol in them of course which makes it very unique and fun. The view from the rooftop is beautiful and you can see the New York City skyline. Great place to take pictures! Great crowd! You can tell that the team is super busy, but very attentive. I only wish the weather was better! I would recommend this rooftop bar for a unique drinking experience.

Yelp
Great place and fabulous views!! I tried the 'poptail' drink - it was pretty nice but def more for the experience! The other cocktails on the menu were also great. Food was nice, pretty standard and what you would expect at a bar. However, def worth visiting for the view!!

Yelp
Went for a drink before dinner reso so it wasn't very busy. Service was quick, drinks were okay. The bench seating was actually very comfy and the view was nice, not something I would go out of my way to get to though, only went because parents were staying in the hotel it's attached to. Did the job, wasn't anything special.

Yelp
Looooved this rooftop bar that was quaintly advertised to me as "The Best Rooftop Bar in Battery Park!" Located in the beautiful Conrad Downtown hotel, Loopy Doopy has stellar views of the Hudson River and some seriously delicious POPTAILS to boot! Poptails are their signature drinks partnered with Mom and Icepops which is comprised of a boozy popsicle and your choice of either Prosecco, Rosécco, or Moët et Chandon Brut. I opted for the strawberry daiquiri popsicle with Prosecco and it did not disappoint! The partner opted for the $18 "I Can't Even" cocktail and enjoyed that one as well. When we visited, reservations were required due to limitations from Covid. The only reason why our time here was cut short was because it just so happened to be extremely windy on the night we decided to come here! No worries, as we were hotel guests and we simply took our bevvies and enjoyed it back in our room. If you are a Gold or Diamond member of Hilton, you can utilize your food and beverage credit here as well. Overall, I would love to return to Loopy Doopy whenever I'm back in town and would find it best to do so during sunset. Seriously, what could possibly bebetter than cocktails with your friends at golden hour? (22/100--2022)

Yelp
Overall rating: 2.65 I'm not sure where to start, but overall disappointment. This is the worst hotel staff & service I've ever experienced in Manhattan. Literally no one knew when this bar opened on a Saturday. -- The first time I went up was 2:11pm (& Google references 2pm). The door was locked. -- The second time we had confirmation from the hostess at the downstairs restaurant who we watched text someone confirming the bar is open. We go up, THE DOOR IS LOCKED. Guys, guys, guys, this is what gets me. We see a server cleaning the tables and are mouthing the words "is this open". She says no, & continues cleaning. Why couldn't she come to the door & tell us when it DOES open? Listen, I don't know why I didn't just leave there. I have a problem with giving people 2nd/ 3rd/ whatever chances. Welcome to NYC dating. -- My friend & I go back downstairs, and the hostess looks confused contacting someone else. We ask someone else on staff, who asked security that says it opens at 3. Why, why does your website & Google say 2?! We ask another employee & they say 2! I ask the hotel front desk & they say it's only open at 2 on Sunday, Saturday is 3. How are we at a hotel in NYC & no one on staff knows when their rooftop bar opens? It eventually opens at 2:45 & everyone's like "Go up". So just to clarify, it doesn't open at 3? What in the world, WHERE AM I? I'll be honest, I'm frustrated rewriting this. I'm not even going to go into anything else. But if you got targeted an IG reel or TikTok & you are totally hype on how cute that video looked. Let me tell you, no. Don't do it. Here are actual pictures. That "plant wall" for pictures, so tiny! And there was legit a trash can in front of it. I thought there was froze involved in this popsicle drink, there's not. It's just a popsicle dipped in Prosecco. This is a let down, x10. I do not recommend. Also yes, you are looking at feta cheese & watermelon stuffed as a sandwich. Am I embarrassed I ordered it? Yes. Am I confused how it even exists? 1000% yes. Go to a real rooftop instead.

Yelp
The service is amazing. I can't stress that enough. The drinks are awful. They're using cheap packaged mixers. I couldn't drink any of their drinks and we ordered most of them. Either too sweet, too strong, just off. It's a shame. The ice pop thing is a gimmick. Big bowl of Prosecco and tasteless ice pop. Ehhh View is nice.

Yelp
It's been a while since I've been to this rooftop bar. It is a little more crowded than I remembered, but that may be because of how small this rooftop bar is. Doesn't seem like it's super popular, but their signature "Poptails" still attracts a crowd for "The Gram", as well as the view of the Hudson River and Jersey City skyline. I have to say that the service has diminished. There were only two waitresses serving the entire floor, which is manageable. It took a good 15 minutes for one of them to notice we were never helped before finally putting in our drink order. I understand it's supposed to be a lax environment, because rooftop bar, but it was a little too lax. It was hard to wave either one down and occasionally, I found them hiding by the bar where the cash register was chit-chatting away. Anyways, I got only one drink, the Sidecar ($18). Has that hard Cognac taste, but the rim is covered in sugar. Went together pretty nicely. I got my check immediately and left after getting our drinks as I didn't want to struggle waving someone down later on.

Yelp
I can't believe it's taken me 3 years to write this review . I haven't been here since my birthday in 2017 but I have stopped thinking about this place. This rooftop has everything from a great view to great service. The rooftop is on the smaller side but it's not too small; they offer enough seating so you're not standing for a long time. I walked in around 3pm and found nice seats with a view and within a few minutes the waiter came over to take my order. They offer soo many delicious popsicle drinks plus other drinks but I only came for the Popsicle! And did they not disappoint, they put just enough alcohol in them so you get buzzed and not drink plus the wine they service them in pairs perfectly with each flavor. I think they were $22 a glass which I thought was fine but others felt it was too high, but it's New York!

Yelp
Such a cute rooftop! The view is beautiful, the service and drinks were delicious, and I loved that it felt like a best kept secret. It wasn't overly packed, had just the right amount of people, and the vibes were great!
google avatar

Yelp
Love this place. Has great views of nyc and Hudson River. Be sure to try some of the fun boozy popsicle drinks. We went during sunset and it was breathtaking. I will say that the rooftop itself is pretty small (which isn't too much of a surprise given its nyc location), so it's hard to just walk in.

Yelp
We finally made it to loopy Doopy! We came here for the pop tails, however they do have bites here as well from what I understand. The service was a little shaky at first but our server and other waitresses became more accommodating. So, we ordered our pop tails and apparently we ordered incorrectly according to the attitude from the first waitress. So you need to order a base wine and then the popsicle that goes inside. We ordered the rose and a watermelon popsicle then a strawberry popsicle. The rose was your standard rose and the popsicles were a great touch. Definitely a nice treat for a warm night. The rooftop is quaint but there's room to sit as it wasn't overcrowded. I would definitely come back here just to experience the other poptail we didn't order, there's 3 in total. This is a cute date spot and it's located at the very top of the Conrad Hilton hotel.

Yelp
Came here one day with a friend. There was a wait, not too long though. The rooftop is very tiny. But the view is nice. There aren't a lot of options. I also wish they sold the icees separately because they were really delicious. Oh yea, they don't sell food.
google avatar

Jilesh C.

Yelp
The drinks are okay not the best. You're paying for a popsicle in a wine glass and that being over priced. The area is way too small, can't bring a large group of friends. The best thing is the view but the view is of NJ not even NYC.

Yelp
Loopy Doopy atop the Conrad hotel in Tribeca is one of those summer hot spots that you see / hear about a lot, so I finally mustered up the will to check it out this summer. Be warned the price tag on the famous Loopy Doopy Ice Pops (alcohol-based flavored ice pops dipped into your choice of Rosecco or Prosecco) is high at a whopping $23-24; I get it...I'm paying an extra premium for the novelty of the drink. There are decent views of the Hudson River and Jersey City but are partially obstructed by towering office buildings close by. I ordered the Cucumber Melon Seabreeze, a mix of Grey Goose, cucumber, melon and cranberry ice-pop dipped in Prosecco. The drink was mediocre (shocker), starting as a very "Instagramable" beverage that turned into a slushy mess with the flavored ice-pop quickly disintegrating into the wine. The ice-pop tasted more like cucumber than any of the other supposed ingredients (and no hint of any booze in it either), while the prosecco was typical low end sparkly. And the blended drink was barely palatable. My take? It was an ill-advised "been there, done that" type of experience. I should have saved my $20 and splurged at McDonald's.

Yelp
Loopy Doopy Rofttop Bar is on the rooftop of Hilton's Conrad Downtown hotel in between Tribeca and the World Trade Center along the Hudson River. Once inside the modern hotel, take one of two designated elevators to the top floor. After passing two neon signs, you're on the rooftop. The space itself is small, but it can fit dozens of people between the wrap around couches along the edge, small tables, and the bar. If you're a guest in the hotel, you can bring your drinks down to your hotel room to enjoy. The menu is medium sized with several beer, wine, and cocktail options. For $22 or $23, you can get one of seven seasonal cocktails made from a People's Pop and prosecco or rosecco. If you like slightly sweet drinks, this is your jam.
google avatar

Allix H.

Yelp
Very beautiful view of downtown Manhattan/water, could get packed very easily as it's a small space! If you buy a drink at the bar and sit at the tables you'll be asked to order drinks through the waitress, you may not be able to just sit and drink your bar drink. The popsicle drinks everyone comes here for are around $24+ - imo they aren't worth $24 but they taste really good, and if you're doing it for the gram you'll get a few nice pictures while you're there. If you're debating traveling all the way downtown to visit, there are a lot of other nice rooftops around the city I would come to before I would come here. But if you're in the area I would say stop by though, mainly for the view and to try a popsicle drink.
google avatar

Sharm S.

Yelp
What a cute rooftop bar with amazing views of the river and Jersey. Love the neon lights and couches/decor. Of course you must try their signature 'poptails' where you choose a base and then choose a popsicle for the perfect cocktail. It was so yummy and refreshing to eat the pop after it soaked for a bit. They also offer some delicious bites. Staff was friendly and fast. Enjoy!
google avatar

Ajani B.

Yelp
Staff was weird & disappeared for long periods of time. They kept my friend's card after he asked to close his tab out & then refused to let me pay for my own drink while trying to force me to add my drink to his tab. Even stating "I don't know how to charge separate drinks", which made no sense to me. 100% will not be returning. Very strange vibe from the staff overall, but cool ambiance.
google avatar

Katherine Z.

Yelp
Definitely get that this place is more for the pic - cute drink and a nice view of New York from a rooftop bar, if you're lucky. When I went it was cloud and a little foggy and most of the seating was taken so my view was of a residential building right in front. Like most have stated, the bar is a lot smaller than you'd expect so standing room is your best bet. Most people come for the popsicle drinks, which are $25 a pop. You choose if you want Prosecco or rosecco. I'm glad I came and experienced the ever so famous loopy doopy but can't say I'll be back.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is a little on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. The drinks are delicious and creative and the atmosphere is fabulous! Very relaxed with stunning city views. Big fan of this rooftop spot
google avatar

Yelp
Loopy Doopy is the place to come to for a really expensive Instagram pic. It's on the rooftop of the Conrad Hotel. The rooftop is tiny! Luckily I came on an off time when it wasn't packed. The drinks are cute but really nothing special. Drinks are expensive! The bill was over $50 for two drinks with a popsicle (Do it for the gram). They have no food!!!
google avatar

Emi B.

Yelp
The popsicle prosseco drink was disgusting..... Flat prosseco + low quality popsicle, can't even tell what's inside the popsicle tasted like greeze... . ewwwww $24 Other cocktails were pricy and no alcohol either.
google avatar

Gatangalie S.

Yelp
A killer rooftop bar with a beautiful view of the Hudson River, stunning sunset and the opportunity to see a boat or two sailing. Loopy Doopy rooftop bar/lounge is located in Conrad's hotel in battery park/financial district. It's a beautiful small intimate bar with a good variety of popsicles and cocktails to satisfy your thirst. Happy to say I enjoyed a glass of prosecco served with a raspberry popsicle. It was my first time having a popsicle served with champagne. The wine glass was huge, it kinda remind me of the wine glass Olivia used to drink in Scandal. The whole experience was playful and fun. This was a creative idea serving alcohol with a popsicle dipped in it. I felt as though my raspberry popsicle was soaked in alcohol. The taste was delicious and my drink was stiff. I felt as though one drink was more than enough. I was delightful to have a buzz as well. Drink prices are bit pricey, but Loopy Doopy Bar is a must do especially in the summer months!

Yelp
Popped over here for pre dinner drinks with a friend. We got their famous alcoholic popsicle drinks. I had the rosé with a margarita popsicle and it was very good. The staff was nice and efficient as the rooftop filled very quickly. Great views but the rooftop is on the smaller side so best to make a reservation if you want to definitely go here. We got lucky and they had space but we snagged the last table
google avatar

Yelp
Loopy Doopy - don't you just love saying it?!!? It's fun! And so are their drinks!! This is exactly why I had it bookmarked when I knew we were going to be in NYC. I had seen the pictures on their large prosecco glasses with boozy popsicles inside. They also had a picture of a drink inside a pink disco ball. Our last day in the city, my feet where so tired from walking and dancing, we took a break at a near park we found. Trying to see where we could grab a sit and a drink, I went to my bookmarks on Yelp! And Loopy Doopy appeared! 15 minute walk... how could we say no? It's inside the Conrad hotel, on their 16th floor (I believe). Rooftop bar with a great view. You can even see the Statue of Liberty from there. They have high tables and awesome couch like seating. These were all full when we came in but the bar was open so drinks were not a problem to get at all. The bartender was quick to greet us and give us a menu. I knew what I wanted, just need to pick what flavor popsicle would be in my prosecco glass. After looking at the menu, I went with their Blackberry/ Whiskey one. At first, all you can taste is the prosecco (or sparkling rose, if that's what you went with) but, once the popsicle start melting, it turns into a delicious and interesting drink. The sweetness of the prosecco, with the tartness of the berries was perfection, and the whiskey just added a little more "loopy" to the drink. Their signature mixed drinks come in fun glasses - like "The Bootie" served in a clear mai tai kind of glass and very colorful drink. As I mentioned my feet were done! So I wasn't too happy with the fact they didn't have any bar stools - they added them later on, when the place started getting more crowded. Finally a table opened up and I ran to claim it. Once there I was able to fully enjoy my drink and the view with my feet up. Do note prices are high, Drinks are between $20 - $25 each, and that disco ball I mentioned... $58 (if I remember correctly). Also, it gets crowded, seating might be tough, and this is a hot spot for those looking to snap IG and other social media pics (you're going to see a lot phones taking selfies), with all that said, it's totally worth going at least once. I'm sure glad I did, and next time will aim for a couch and enjoy my Loopy drink even more.

Yelp
I mean with a name like Loopy Doopy, how can you not love this bar? I had heard about it for a long time, and had been dying to go (yes, mostly for the Instagram post, sorry not sorry). We finally decided to make the trip, and I was so pleasantly surprised. Before I go to far - just know that the drinks are VERY expensive. This is the kind of novelty spot that you go to for one drink and move on. This being said, it is worth it for the one drink if you ask me. I was shocked at how easy it was to get in - we went right around sunset (best time to go), and just walked right in. The view from the rooftop is INCREDIBLE, but it is a bit crowded, so be prepared to hang around until a spot opens to see the view. The bartenders are a bit short staffed, but very friendly. As long as you are patient, they will treat you well. We ordered their classic prosecco drink with the popsicle (duh) and were not disappointed. I am looking forward to bringing my out of town friends here this summer!

Yelp
Loopy doopy!!! Came here with friends on a wonderful Friday and we were so lucky enough to get a really nice view of NJ as well as enjoy the sunny weather and sip on some luscious cocktails... it was a great way to start off the summer. We got there around 3:30pm... there was a bit of a crowd, but we still managed to get great seats with an awesome view. LD are known for their delicious popsicle drinks, so we grabbed a round of those babies. My friends went for the raspberry popsicle in Prosecco and I got the peach popsicle in prosecco as well. Both were so delicious, refreshing and oh so pretty! The staff were super nice and accommodating. Must check out in the neighborhood. A little pricy, but if you are with good friends with an awesome view. Who cares?

Yelp
Located on the rooftop of Conrad hotel on the 16th floor, I stopped by here to experience "rooftop bar" concept just because I heard it is a things to do around here. Very small area with a nice view of the river, view was very nice. Staff was friendly. I read about popsicle drinks but since I didn't want anything sweet, just ordered standard Hendricks with cucumber cocktail. Since they added something else too, I couldn't quite taste the Hendricks gin, if they used much more economical gin and I wouldn't have noticed it. Drink itself was very weak, overly priced for what you get. It was an experience for me and got to witness what rooftop bar is all about. I think I prefer traditional quiet bar setting.
google avatar

Shivani G.

Yelp
So I came here because I saw all the cool photos of people with their popsicle drinks here and I wanted a cool photo too. But if that's the only reason you want to come here, get yourself a 99 cent popsicle and stick in your own glass of wine to save yourself the $18. The concept is fun, but it's not very practical as the popsicle melts quickly into the wine (which some people might like) but I didn't even think it tasted that great. Another reason I wanted to come here was for the view. Unfortunately there are only a few seats with access to a nice view, and even then there are better spots in the city to get a nice scenic outlook of the city. Altogether I found this place to be way too overpriced and overhyped. Come here if money isn't a problem for you and if you don't own any popsicles at home.

Yelp
Had a ton of fun at the Loopy Doopy Rooftop Bar with the fun drinks, rooftop views of downtown New York City and Jersey City across the Hudson River, and chill vibes! Loop Doopy has been on my list for a while and the last time we tried going a couple years back in the early Fall, it was closed as it's only open during the Summer period, so I was glad that we were finally able to make it. It's easy to miss, as it's inside of a hotel with entrances on that aren't very prevalent. The first aspect I noticed upon entering the rooftop was that it was a bit on the smaller end, but still decent space, and the unique views it offered. Most rooftops I've visited in the city often have views of midtown and the Empire State Building. Here, the view was mainly of the Hudson River, Downtown Jersey City, and the Statue of Liberty in the distance. We ended up hanging out at the bar as we weren't planning on staying very long and visited for a pre-dinner drink and views. It seemed that while seating was limited, there was decent turnover and since we arrived, there were to to three visitors who got seating with minimal wait. Just make sure to inform one of the hotessess/ wait staff that you'd like to sit, we were talking to the bartender who said he'd keep an eye out but never did. While the views and vibe for me were the main attractions, the drinks were very well presented and strong. I ordered the Raspberry Lime Paloma (Casamigos Tequila, Raspberry, Grapefruit, Lime) with Prosecco ($23). I enjoyed the drink, which comes with a popsicle, which tasted like crap but looked great. The drink itself was tasty with a nice blend of flavors and strong. It came in a large wine glass so it was also a decent portion. Given that we were enjoying the Summer vibes and the beautiful blue-skied, sunny day out, we decided to try one more drink before we headed out for dinner. I ordered the I Can't Even (Grey Goose Vodka, Fresh Lemonade, Raspberry, Agave) ($18). I didn't enjoy it as much as the Raspberry Lime Paloma, but it was also well presented and decent. Overall, I enjoyed Loopy Doopy and is top three in my list of rooftop bars in New York City. I would definitely come back here if I had more time to hang out to enjoy drinks and conversations with my friends, or to bring a traveling visitor here. I had a lot of fun!

Yelp
I was at the Conrad for a business conference so decided to check out Loopy Droopy as I always love a good rooftop bar! The place is very small and although I thought perhaps it wouldn't be busy on a Tuesday evening.... wrong! Even though they were busy I got right in and didn't wait long at the bar to receive service. I ordered a blueberry lavender prosecco that came with their obligatory Popsicle. It was a nice drink and different, but the $25 price tag was a bit much!! The popsicles in wine are what draw people in. There are other drinks to be had here besides just wine so if you're picky- there are other options! Line and waits can be long, the seating on the roof is limited. Be prepared to stand, be crowed and probably wait 30+ mins before making it up to the roof anytime after 5pm on a 75+ degree day! Over all a pretty pricey bar with $25 per drink. Beautiful views though which made for a nice sunset. You can see the Statue of Liberty from afar.
google avatar

Nisha C.

Yelp
I'll be honest. The only reason I really wanted to come here was so I can drink their signature Popsicle in a Prosecco drink and then get a really artsy picture with the view in the background. The drink was $22 with $3 tax so it came out to $25. You read it right. TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS. Was it worth that cost? No because I could make it at home. Everything else was average and typical NY prices. I won't be back but I would say to anyone who hasn't been there to go and fulfill your dream of drinking the Popsicle drink.

Barbara S.

Yelp
Fun chic place. Celebrated a 21st birthday. Good drinks, great view. Want to try some food next time.

Yelp
Visited NY over the summer and gave into the hype. Had to come try their Loopy Doopy Ice Pops and experience the amazing view I'd seen in pictures. I knew they'd be busy because of how popular the place sounded and sure enough, it was packed. I guess I underestimated the place and its ambiance because I definitely felt under dressed coming in wedges, jeans and a nice top- maybe it was just the time of day we visited. Staff seemed annoyed when we walked up to order our drinks but we chalked it up to how busy they were. We got our drinks shortly after and they were just as pretty in person but definitely not worth the $20+ a pop! I learned afterward that there were plenty of other rooftop bars we couldn't gone too. Probably with a better experience!

Yelp
Went to this rooftop after going next door to El Vez for dinner. It was a little hard to find and we had to walk through a hotel bar area that looked like it was hosting a speed dating for religious people. After asking around and finding the semi hidden elevators we were finally able to go to the rooftop. It was Monday of a long weekend but it was less busy than we though it would be and got a part of 8 seated right away at the perfect table with a city view. We all got the boozy popsicles and chatted about the long weekend that we spent together at a family wedding. The staff was friendly and the vibes were immaculate.

Yelp
Great view and great service! This place is only for Instagram purposes and be ready to pay! Honestly, I had a great time getting tipsy and Michelle, the Puerto Rican host was sooo freaking awesome! She went above and beyond! The view was beautiful but I feel like the shared plates was not worth it so........ meh. I did not get them since it was not my taste. Definitely a day to just chill and get tipsy!

Yelp
Why yes, I 100% did come here just for those (p)rosecco people's pop drinks and I have zero shame. Loves: + Nice combo of p(rosecco) and a popsicle + All of the flavors sound delicious + Nice views + Nice staff Not so love: - Not lots of seating, so good luck. Who knew that drinking AND ice cream would be SO grand together? Cash me again here this summer, howbowdah!

Yelp
I am usually in the Conrad downtown lounge, but decided to finally try out Loopy Doopy due to how popular it always becomes in the summer, especially with the bussin cocktails! The popsicle in my drink was yummy it was one of their signatures with some tequila, or rose. I can't remember. Nice views and the sun hits you right on your pretty faces. Service can be a little better- but overall I had a good time with scenery. Easy access with the elevators from the hotel. Recommend esp during summer, if you're into rooftops! You should RSVP to be on the safe side or call ahead. I didn't need to and got lucky without a wait time!

Yelp
This place is cool for pictures. Located inside the Conrad hotel, it's a nice bar but It's not large enough where you can hang out for a while. It gets pretty crowded. The signature drinks are the sparkling wine with boozy popsicle. They go for about $24. Really pricey---again just for pictures sake. When I went I only had one and then I left because there was basically no room to sit or stand. Also, you don't really taste the booze in the popsicle. I would recommend going during off hours to avoid the crowds. It's worth trying once.

Yelp
Really cool rooftop bar atop the Conrad hotel. Can be kind of confusing to get there--go inside the Conrad and up to the hotel lobby (up escalators/stairs right when you enter). Go to the left of the check in desks and there's a set of elevators. Go up to the top floor. Both hotel and rooftop are very cute, modern, and cute. There's an amazing view of the Hudson from the rooftop. They have plenty of drinks but their most popular is the popsicles in Prosecco/rosecco. There's a bunch of different popsicle flavors. I believe the watermelon has vodka and the raspberry has tequila. I would recommend getting the popsicles in Prosecco so there isn't a weird mix of flavors. The drinks are kind of expensive for what they are ($24) but you're really paying for the experience. Also they do give a hefty amount of Prosecco. The popsicles taste great but I found them to be kinda flimsy and grainy. Overall, great place to hang with friends with a good view!

Yelp
If you just want to get drinks this is perfect. The food menu wasn't the best so we didn't eat. The views of the city was amazing. It's not a big rooftop but it's still nice. The service was good. You can make reservations on Open table. A lot of the drinks that I saw on social media they don't have anymore the server said they change menus.

Yelp
Pros: beautiful views, chill environment, well behaved adults lol Cons: hugely overpriced weak/bland drinks, rude waitstaff that will also push u to keep buying if you want to stay seated, boring music, tiny bar Ive been waiting so long to go here but was honestly disappointed. Everyone that saw me post pictures while here was very jealous, but it just goes to show u how social media is fake lol. There are better spots with similar concepts ladies and gents

Yelp
Took my cousin here to celebrate when she passed her nursing exams! It was her first trip to NYC so we wanted to do all of the things. The view is fantastic and absolutely picturesque. We fawned over it in our entire thirty minute stay. There's not much space up there as well for sitting and standing around. The two popsicle drinks cost me $60. That was INSANE. Great for a one time experience sort of thing.

Yelp
This place is great for what it is. The view is great, especially if you get one of the better tables (which we were lucky enough to snag). Of course, we went for the awesome popsicle drinks. The prosecco they use seems to be mediocre honestly but the popsicles are DELICIOUS. I would have ordered just the popsicles. It's definitely a touristy instagrammable kinda spot, but a good time!

Yelp
I came here after work once day to relax and have a good cocktail. I ordered the loopy doopy drink with a Rosséco base wine and strawberry Cosmopolitan ice pop. It was refreshing and very tasty, although expensive (but that's what you'd expect at a swanky rooftop bar). Loopy Doopy at the Conrad is a great place to go with stunning views of the water and skyscrapers, a laid back environment and tasty cocktails
