Eclectic eatery serving Korean barbecue and fusion cuisine for dine-in or take-out.
"What began as a food truck selling Korean fusion in the D.C. area eventually migrated to NYC, where Loopy’s Eatery opened on a quiet street in a still-commercial part of Chelsea this past February. The restaurant is remarkable for its Victorian interior design and its anime figures on shelves, and the food runs to burritos, bowls, bim bim bap, and nachos. One of the showiest dishes is a Philly cheesesteak dripping with melted cheddar (provolone also available) stuffed with ginger-spiked bulgogi. Priced at $14, the beef bulgogi cheesesteak is big enough to share with a friend." - Robert Sietsema
