I visited your bar yesterday and, as is often the case, the service at the bar took a bit of time. That’s not a major issue — I understand it’s a dive bar and that comes with the territory.
However, something that has been a recurring concern is the inconsistency in pricing. On multiple occasions, I’ve felt like I’ve been charged more than what’s listed on the menu. Last night, I paid closer attention and confirmed it: I ordered two cocktails, which are clearly listed as $8 each on your menu. My total came out to $21.62 — noticeably higher than expected, even after tax.
On top of that, my girlfriend was served a cocktail with spoiled pineapple juice. She had to ask for it to be remade, which isn’t something that should be happening in any bar, regardless of the atmosphere or price point.
I didn’t bring any of this up at the time because we were trying to enjoy our night out, but I do think this reflects poorly on how the bar is run. If you advertise a price, that should be what customers are charged — and serving spoiled ingredients is completely unacceptable
