A Brand New ‘Boozenasium’ Resurrects a Longtime Spring Branch Neighborhood Bar | Eater Houston

"Opening on June 7 at 8518 Long Point Road in Spring Branch, this new six-owner bar—staffed by operators with roots in well-known Houston spots such as Lil’ Danny Speedo’s, Big Star Bar, Grand Prize, Okras Charity Saloon, Lei Low Rum Bar, Houston Watch Co., and Eureka Heights Brewing Company—aims to resurrect and slightly update the former neighborhood haunt’s “comfortable and cozy” vibe. The drinks program highlights local beer (with at least two Eureka Heights beers on draft at all times), roughly 20 bottled/canned selections as part of an “elevated” beer offering, classic cocktails, and a margarita machine.
