Loose Screw Beer Co. - Downtown Meridian

I finally made it to the brewery station and tap house for loose screw in downtown Meridian. It was a pleasure and I just love the vibe coming from there. The large plate glass with the real clean brew room as you will see on the pics. The outside seating and amenities were very very nice. They brew their beer here and truck some to their other location. Come on down and check them out and spend some time here.

First time here on an Autumn afternoon. It was perfect. Beautiful setting and vibe. I got the huckleberry cider(10/10) and my husband got the snake river tea party. (8/10). We also ordered the Baja fish tacos and as someone who is just learning to enjoy spicy food it was at my max for what I could handle. That being said my husband who loves spice very much enjoyed them. I did love the concept.

Loose Screw Beer Co. is a hidden gem in downtown Meridian. The space is awesome, lots of seating inside, a big outdoor patio, and even a rooftop patio. They’ve got a permanent food truck onsite that serves up incredible food; the steak quesadilla is honestly the best I’ve ever had. Their beers are always solid and the tap list changes often, so there’s always something new to try. I went for their Oktoberfest 2025 and loved the Märzen they brewed for the event. Super family- and dog-friendly too, always packed with people, kids playing, and a great community vibe. Easily one of the best new spots in Meridian.

Lots of seating and a variety of beers on tap. Also loved all the zero proof options. My work was hosting a happy hour on the patio and at first I was sceptical since it was a bit of a drive from the office but it was well worth it! I didn't try the food but from looks of what my coworkers got, it was great as well. The loose screw brewery is very pet and kid friendly (they had little outdoor games that the kids seemed to love) so a great spot for everyone.

Great beer. I had two flights and nothing disappointed. New, clean venue with a view of the brewing room.

I really enjoy Loose Screws new space! Great place to grab a drink. Friendly staff and good beers. They also have an onsite food truck so you can grab a bite too. Will definitely be a regular here and encourage you to as well!

We've been wanting to come here for a long time. It did not disappoint! Beers were great and service was excellent. Very kid-friendly, which we appreciate. Clean and spacious.We also had food, and it was delicious. Will be back for sure.

I came here with my folks yesterday and we all had a great time! Starting with the staff- Natasha was extremely friendly and helpful! She helped us from their beautiful patio area, checking on our drinks without being overbearing, literally the perfect amount of service. We weren't hungry when we got there, but they had a taco truck in the parking lot that I will definitely be trying next time I go there because it looked yummy! Can't wait to come back here soon! Oh, and they have a large indoor space that looks like it would be perfect to rent out for a corporate event or holiday party!

The food truck here rocks!!! Not a large menu but basically three choices of tacos, burritos, or quesadillas. You pick the protein - chicken, steak, or pork. Good amount of meet and lots of flavor. They grill cheese on the outside of the quesadilla tortillas and their tacos are made with homemade tortillas. So good! Absolutely delicious. No frills trailer but staff is friendly.

With the amount of times I've been to Loose Screw (downtown Meridian and the McMillan location before it recently closed) I felt like I needed to finally write a review. Everything about the atmosphere of this brewery makes it such an incredible location in Meridian! The bartenders there are always so friendly and make it a point to remember your name whenever you come in. It's always clean, and the fact that they have their own parking lot makes it also a huge bonus. My husband always gets their Hazy that is on tap; in fact the Soft Squeeze that they had this past Friday when we were in he said was his favorite so far! (A note to the owner to keep that on tap). The food truck that they have out there permanently, Big Beantz Tacos, also had a great but simple menu with some AMAZING flavors in the meats they serve up. My literal ONLY reason for knocking down 1 star is because I'm a cider person and I really don't like the two ciders they have on tap. My own personal preference, and they're not terrible by any means, just not something I'd get anywhere else. If they had some different options or maybe even added some sours to their menu this place would be a 5 star all day.

This is brewery #310 for me. A couple days in Boise on business again this year. Loose Screw is a new brewery since my last visit. This is a really nice location and layout. They put some time and money into this and it shows. Great big taproom with a long bar. Great music and friendly vibe. Rhubarbarella, Queen of the Galaxy, is a rhubarb fruit beer. I can't say for sure I could identify it as rhubarb if I didn't know ahead of time. It does have a sour note to it as expected. Next up was Great Notion mango fluff sour. This smelled really good. The first sip didn't wow me but I was a fan by the third. It has a bit of a vanilla note as well as A LOT of mango. SWPFTD described it as eating a mango cupcake with vanilla frosting. Modest Freak session IPA was a big change from the mango sour. I ordered this almost entirely based on the name. Yes I'm supremely modest. A freak? Well I guess that depends on your perspective. I'll leave it at that. This was a good IPA. Good flavor and moderate bitterness. Mikes mild is a dark mild. This is as it says...mild. After the mango sour it seems a little boring. It's a good dark mild of course, my tastebuds were just all revved up. SWPFTD got the Fitzgeralds American Amber. This had a good bitterness to it which was more than I expected. SWPFTD and I both enjoyed it though. LSB is a solid spot. The beers are solid. The beer tender was cool. The space is excellent. The music was good. I love the atmosphere here, especially when the weather is nice and you can sit outside. The service was great! The food truck is AWESOME and had amazing tacos. We had a flight of beer and I just thought the beer was ok.

This place is AWESOME, live music cool vibe and great tacos! A must do! Now this is the place to hang out for happy hour and longer

Another great Meridian location to sample some brews. Was quite busy the night I ventured in for the first time two weeks ago, but plenty seating at the bar top. Great selection of beers on tap, and the taco food truck accessible from the rear inside of the building made for a great stop. The food there was excellent. Their own beer, the Huey, was a great IPA to go with the food. Quite a few other choices as well.

We just had beer, and the girl that helped us was so nice and very helpful. My son was having trouble deciding what beer to choose and she was so patient and friendly. She wanted to make sure he was happy with his choice. The patio is very nice and comfortable. We played a game of corn hole, it was really nice.

Visited Loose Screw today after brunch. The decor and building is fantastic. Large outdoor area with a covered patio, along with two large shade trees provide plenty of coverage from that Idaho sun that will happily turn you into a lovely shade of watermelon. The beer was top notch. My favorite was the Mike's Mild (dark lager). Very smooth, good notes of toasty malt, and low ABV (3.7). Also tried the Prairie BAARD which is comparable to a Coors Banquet, and the Throwback Pale which was a great pale ale. Looking forward to visiting again.

The bar tender was very engaging and informative about Loose Screw beers and new ones they were developing. He even offered some additional samples for comparison to the selections we made. I cannot wait to try their coming pilsner. Loose Screw Beer Co. is doing a great job of creating a local pub vibe that makes you want to meet friends there for a warm, casual night out. As they grow, I expect that their pub fare will grow. They are in a great location in the developing Meridian downtown that continue to keep the "down home" atmosphere. Meridian will be unique and different from the Boise downtown.

Beer and food truck options were excellent. Nice job on the re-model and plenty of parking. Will bring my beer friends next time. Patio should be nice this coming summer!

Busy place on Sunday afternoon had a great time with good service and fun, outgoing ambience. Great selection of brew. We will definitely be back to try the food.

The new downtown location is a spectacular space. The food is delicious and the beers are as always right on point. If you haven't stopped in yet you need to. Staff is always friendly and after a couple times in they treat you better than family

Great spot!! Love the set up for Big Beantz Tacos, their food is AMAZING. They had good beer options, plus wine, cider + NA's. Love a brewery that carries a sour. All of the beertenders were attentive and cheerful - you don't find that everywhere. The brewery is on leash dog friendly but be aware that although the space is quite large, it feels a little tight and intimate. Watched a dog get into it with another tonight and it left most of us on edge for the rest of the time we were there. Given it's a winter month, when all the outdoor spaces are being utilized it'll probably feel a little more spacious! I'll be back in a couple weeks and I'm looking forward to it

We like walking down here to have a beer. The food is a food truck that is parked on the property. It's mainly Mexican style food. It's good but a little on the pricey side.

The best draw for this brewery is their patio and seating options. Lots of spots for big groups, card games, some fire pits, and plenty of good drink choices. A tasting flight of 4 came to about $11, staff was friendly enough with giving suggestions. Dogs are welcome inside as well. There was a good selection of food options from a taco truck as well, it looked great, but we did not try that this time.

Great beer with a great atmosphere. Had a club meeting in the patio area and Trish was extremely gracious and helpful. Great selection of beers; something for everybody. Can't wait to go back.

We hosted an event here in their private event room and everything was wonderful! The private bartender we had was so great. Couldn't be happier! Hands down our favorite brewery!

Great new location! They did a fantastic job on the remodel. Loved the atmosphere and decor. We had tacos and quesadillas from the food truck and all of them were 5 star. We had people checking in with us to make sure we liked our beer and the food. Definitely a place to visit on a regular basis and bring visitors. The fact they are dog friendly is also huge for us. We can't wait to see the outside area in the spring...although it is heated now and available for seating.

The new location has an awesome atmosphere, great beer selection, and great food truck. Family friendly and great people. Looking forward to spending time on that patio.
