We had an incredible night. If you want good service and a great gastronomic experience, this is the best option in Brooklin. 🍹 To start, we had great drinks, well served and with the perfect level of alcohol. My favorite was the Giardino, while my wife prefers the Loreto Lavender Fizz. To accompany it, we recommend the best eggplant we've ever tasted, the name of the dish is Melanzane. 🍽️ For the main course I ordered a steak that was perfectly cooked, with potatoes on the side, called La Bistecca and my wife ordered an incredible pasta called Fettuccine al Ragu 🍮 Finally, we asked the manager for suggestions. We really liked the Cheesecake, but the best of all was without a doubt the Chocolate Chip Cookies. I would like to highlight the excellent service from the manager Carlos, who was attentive at all times and asked if everything was ok with our orders, and also the perfect service from the waiter Glauco, who treated us very well! We will be back to try the pizzas and new drinks. It is important to make a reservation in advawnce

Pleasant place overall and great for a date, business dinner or a group celebration. . What to order: 🔸Prosciutto and Burattina 🔸Homemade Pasta 🔸Secondi: steak or fish, also their chicken was great . 💵 Average price for an appetizer $19, pasta -$25, entree - $35-$40

Just the right dishes to welcome us to New York! Came here as our first stop in New York to taste some great Italian cuisine in a beautiful space. Came with my 16-year-old daughter who ordered the sausage pizza which she recommends. Not only was the pizza in her opinion very light and flavorful but also filling at the same. She did not finish the pizza and took some to go. I ordered the Cacio de Pepe which was what I needed in a flavorful butter cream sauce, the noodles were a perfect al dente and plentiful. I grabbed a glass of Tonnino Pinot Grigio to go with this dish which was great ! Followed by a "Fall in Fashion" a cinnamon stick infused forward cocktail which was great as well. We will definitely be back!

Such a chic and sophisticated Italian spot in Downtown Brooklyn. My husband and I had a great time. The food was DELICIOUSSSSSS and here are our choices: - For appetizers - Burratina - burrata with roasted Italian peppers - and Fritto Misto - fried seafood. - For main - Paccheri pasta, with mushroom ragu, and Basil Pesto pizza. OMG! This pizza was insanely good! I can't wait to go back and have this pizza again. - Desserts - Torta al Cioccolato, with vanilla ice cream. So good! Love the textures. We also got the Cheesecake pudding - you will get the cheesecake flavors with a different texture.

I adore this restaurant! The food is incredibly delicious, and I am tempted to try every dish on the menu. The service staff has impeccable taste and their recommendations always result in outstanding and mouthwatering meals. I absolutely must revisit!

Google
Really gorgeous ambiance and the waite staff was very attentive. The food was very tasty and savory. My Dad and I shared the Fritto Misto an Pollpete. We dined on the Shrimp Scampi and Chicken Marsala. Dessert included Tiramisu and the Hazelnut Chocolate cake. We had a great evening celebrating my birthday!

Google
Wonderful experience. The food is excellent. Delicious in fact. All servers were not only friendly They were extremely helpful in the selection of my dishes. The ambiance could not be better. The restaurant itself is gorgeous from the architectural details to the artwork and decorations. The music is upbeat and contemporary. A truly satisfying dining experience.

Our family of 4 decided to try a Sunday eve walk-in at Loreto's. The host was very helpful to seat us in less than 10 minutes considering they were packed! Their half bench and half chairs table arrangement fits 4 comfortably, and is conducive to all group conversations. We enjoyed EVERY dish that came out, especial±± ly the fried calamari and shrimp, the chicken marsala, pork chops, ...every dish basically. Our boys cleaned up every plate and wished they had bread to wipe their plates with. Our only regret was not trying their drinks. Definitely coming back again WITH reservations and hopefully try many of the other dishes on their menu as well as their dessert. Warning, they close at 9pm, so arrive early for dinner.

Yelp
Last minute planning and in need of Italian food close by, Loreto's became the pick for my mom's birthday dinner. Service and ambiance were great, but the food could've been better. When my partner and I arrived, my parents were already seated and the host wasn't at the door. One of the servers flagged down the host and after some confusion, we found our table. After that, service was smooth sailing and our waiter was very personable and attentive. The ambiance is immaculate with beautiful lighting and plush seating. And because it was a Thursday night, it wasn't too crowded or loud. I could see myself just coming for a date and ordering a dessert just for vibes. The food was average and some dishes had their flaws. The pizzas, in particular, were slightly soggy. While there was some char on the crust, the crust wasn't crispy and couldn't withstand the weight of the toppings. Taste-wise, the tartufata pizza was fine but the vodka pizza didn't have a hint of vodka. The polpette, beef carpaccio, and beet salad were all good but nothing special. The cacio e pepe tasted great but was slightly salty, the steak and the seafood ravioli were decent but also nothing special. The portions were decently sized for the price. Nyc is not short of stellar Italian food, so while Loreto's food isn't bad, it's not something I can't get anywhere else. Guess it's onto the next.

Yelp
Great food, service, decor, and ambiance. This is a MUST! I took my teenage niece who dislikes everything, but she loved every meal they served. So, if she enjoyed her meals, I'm certain you will too. Go ahead and make your reservation today!

Tamika G.

Yelp
Great date night, girls night spot by the Barcley. Pasta tasted fresh and authentic and all the dishes were reasonably priced. The decor was modern boho chic, the staff was friendly and attentive. Reservations were easy to make as well. The fritto mitto sooo good, seasoned well, hot and crispy, the cesar salad was classic and lettuce crisp, the shaved Brussel salad was a crowd pleaser and our entrees were spot on as well. Skirt steak seasoned and cooked at the right temperature, the pasta dishes light and flavorful

Lillian H.

Yelp
I have been here twice. Once for dinner and once for happy hour. The food is always great and the restaurant decor is top notch. Service is always great. The location is great because it's next to Atlantic terminal and BAM. I've recently passed by and think they are now closed. If true, it's unfortunate because I really loved having a high end Italian restaurant in Brooklyn.

Yelp
I drove past this place a couple of times and wanted to try this place out. I love Italian food so I was happy about a new one in the neighborhood. We had a reservation at 6pm made through resy but for some reason we weren't in the system. We received an email confirmation for it also. Good thing the restaurant wasn't pack on a Tuesday night. The ambience is nice. It's relaxing and spacious. I had the lavender spirtz and it did not taste good at all. It was bitter and had no lavender in taste nor smell. The grotto misto was a great appetizer. It was crispy and not too much batter. The linguine alla Vongole was super salty. It's like dumped 2 tbs of salt on an entree. The bracoila di Maiale was good. It was cooked medium just what we requested. I had to request for water since no one came to filled it up. There is definitely room for improvement in terms of service.

Yelp
Love Love Love Loreto's is my go-to any day of the week. Unfortunately, they seem to be closed. I hope they reopen soon. It would be a shame if things ended like this

Colleen B.

Yelp
This review is with regard to the establishment's lack of effective communication. I attempted to place a reservation for 16 people for 8PM March 17th via telephone. I had a conversation with someone for 8 minutes, while they went back and forth and communicated with someone else in the restaurant, where I provided my phone number and my email address. I was also asked twice what this event was for and explained that it was for Match Day- a day when fourth-year medical students, such as myself, find out where they will be receiving their first job as a physician and train in their respective fields. This is a huge day and a very important event and I looked forward to celebrating with my family and loved ones. I confirmed all my information and was told that my reservation is noted and I should expect an email from the manager soon. I called the following Tuesday because I had not received an email and my party had increased by one. I was informed by the manager that my reservation had not been noted and that he is the one who handles large parties. Unfortunately, it turns out that there is no room for my party that day and I will not be able to be accommodated. I don't know who I spoke to that day, but I hope this never happens again because the establishment is beautiful and the food/drinks look delicious. It is very upsetting to have in your mind the idea of celebrating a very special day with your family and friends not come to fruition.

Yelp
The first time I visited Loreto, I had a great experience, so I suggested it when a friend wanted to take me to dinner for my birthday. However, it seems that things have gone downhill, as my last dinner there was a complete train wreck from start to finish. Let's begin. My companion and I checked in for our reservation and were taken to be seated. This turned out to be awkward as the waitress walked us around the entire restaurant looking very confused, seemingly unable to find us a table. She randomly sat us at a table for two (our reservation was for 3 people), told us to wait and left without any explanation. About 10 minutes later, she returned and took us to another table the right size. Another waitress came to take our drink orders while we waited for the last person in our party to arrive. The drinks never came until much later when all three of us had already had time to catch up, read over the menu multiple times, and were ready to place our entire orders. Worse, the wrong drink came. My companion does not drink alcohol and ordered a mocktail, but we each took one sip and realized it was a cocktail. I understand accidents happen, but imagine how much more detrimental this mistake could have been were it given to someone recovering from alcoholism or with a religious restriction. The next thing that happened was the most bizarre of all. As the appetizers were being placed on the table, the waitress came and gave us the bill. Um, what? Excuse me? We had not even taken a single bite of food yet and were being rushed to pay. I've never in my life seen such a thing. The bill was also wrong, so we had to ask her to go back and fix it. While we were eating our entrees, the waitress came back for the bill again, and upon seeing that it was not paid yet (because we were in the MIDDLE of our meal) said "sorry take your time!" This was comical, as it's contradictory to tell someone to take their time whilst also giving them the bill egregiously early and coming to get it again mid-meal. When we were ready to pay, we found that the bill was still wrong, and the mocktail was charged as a cocktail. Sigh. The waitress apologized and said that drink was on her (thanks for the free soda, I guess). My friend has worked in the service industry many years and asked to speak to the manager to provide feedback. The waitress told us there was no manager that night, but we could speak to the head chef. She also tried to chalk the poor service up to the fact that there was a show at the BAM that night and they had a full house. This does not make sense to me, as the first time I'd been to Loreto it was the same situation, but we still received excellent service. Also, the majority of the restaurant cleared out halfway through our meal, but the service never improved. The head chef came out later and started by telling us that it was each of the server's first/second days, they're training new people in the kitchen as well, and he's been dealing with issues all night. This was not comforting knowing that the entire restaurant has been in chaos, and tells me that they do not have great standards when hiring. He admitted this was no excuse, apologized, and said he wished there was more he could do. As we were leaving the restaurant, our waitress was at the hostess stand and shouted "wait, the chef is making you a dessert!" How did this fail to get mentioned until we were already halfway out the door? Bye folks. At this point, we were over it and said no thanks. I felt bad that I had suggested we eat there and subjected my friends to an awful experience. TLDR; The food at Loreto is still good, but there seems to have been a huge dip in service. Would not recommend unless you want to be left utterly confused and embarrassed with your guests.

Yelp
I have walked past Loreto Italian Kitchen & Bar many times going to BAM or hanging out in the area and never went in. Yesterday one of my BFFs took me there to celebrate my birthday and the experience was sublime. Excellent, friendly service (thank you Carlos!) and fantastic food. I especially loved the decor and ambiance, very calming, and neutral with a luxurious undertone. I cannot recommend Loreto enough. I enjoyed the beet salad and branzino, both delicious and fresh. Do yourself a favor and go to Loreto Italian Kitchen & Bar ASAP. You will be very happy you did.

Stefan B.

Yelp
Everything is amazing about this place. The food is the best. The wine is top notch and the service staff goes above and beyond. Can't wait for it to re open

Alexander T.

Yelp
The food has always been good at Loreto, but recently the management changed and now the service is excellent as well. On our latest visit, we asked the current manager for some food and wine recommendations, and they were on point. I don't remember the wine pairings, but regarding food, two of us ordered the following: Beef Carpaccio as an appetizer. Cacio e Pepe as a pasta. Braciola de Maiale as a main. In the past we've ordered their pizza, which is very good, and also the Mezze Rigatoni (pictured). Bravo Loreto! We will be back.

Joseph T.

Yelp
I would rate Loreto four and a half stars. My wife and I came for dinner on a Saturday night,l. Dining room was filled but we managed to squeeze some seats at the bar. Bar manager was bartending and we ended up with some outstanding service. Very limited options of beers but they have some nice wines by the glass and some killer cocktails. I had the Loreto Martini and their Spicy Margarita. Both were great. Food wise, we started with the Fritto Misto. Slightly breaded calamari, shrimp, and zucchini. Light crispy and oil to it. Came with a taste marinara sauce. Made for a perfect appetizer / bar food. Next we shared the Loreto pizza. Great Neapolitan style pie. Nice char. Dough had a perfect consistency. Came with plentiful portion of prosciutto. For our main course, we shared the paccheri and the pork chop. Paccheri was a thick and stumpy pasta with a mushroom and cheese sauce. Ultra savory. Pork chop was possibly my favorite dish. Very juicy. Served over a creamy polenta with broccoli rave and Pearl onions. Chocolate cake was for dessert. Came was drizzled with an out of the world caramel. I made sure to scrape up every bit of it. Two gender neutral restrooms restrooms with one being handicap accessible. Sink was exterior from TVs toilets.

Yelp
Came for a birthday dinner last Friday evening and the service was attentive while the food was fantastic. I asked for a mock tail which was kindly accommodated for. I was pleasantly surprised by the experience and when we asked to split the check 3 ways........no attitude from the waiter. Extra points.

Tiffany L.

Yelp
We sat outside but it started to rain so they moved us inside. Interior is super cute and romantic. Great for a date night! To eat we had: Fritto Misto: fried calamari, shrimp and zucchini. nice crunch! light and not too bready. nice sauce! lobster with squid ink fettuccini: I always get squid ink pasta if it's on the menu and this one didn't disappoint! good amount of lobster, pasta cooked al dente and sauce was flavorful! hazelnut chocolate cake: THIS WAS AMAZING. simple but so good with the salted caramel. highly recommend this dessert!!

Chris W.

Yelp
Absolutely Sublime Loreto What? Omg what!! The ambiance classy not over whelming, clean lines in the back, open kitchen. Steak so amazing from mid west states and spud vide before searing. So tender to insane and I only eat wagyu Lasagna Bech and Tomato Fingerling potatoes that make you loose your mind Cripspy crunchy awesome season No salt or pepper was touched period I'm going again just to make sure my palate was excited. Lol no just to taste the food

Winnie Z.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate my birthday last night. We had a reservation for 6:30, but came an hour early and they accommodated us. We had a table facing the open kitchen, which was quite nice to see. The overall vibe is great for a date night. The servers were all very nice and attentive. My only complaint would be that we had to flag someone down to refill my water the first time. Since we put down we're celebrating my birthday, our server came and brought a tiramisu on the house and sang happy birthday to me twice since we had brought our own cake as well. Service was simply up there. Moving onto food, we ordered the Fritto Misto, Linguine Alle Vongole, and the Branzino al Forno. The fritto misto was seasoned perfectly and great on its own without the sauce. Though a few pieces were on the soggy side as it wasn't drained of the oil completely. The linguine alle vongole was also really good. The pasta was cooked al dante, and the clams tasted freah. The branzino was also very good, although it was ordered by mistake. The tiramisu was simply delicious. Thank you for the warm service and accommodation. Would definitely return again.

Yelp
Highly recommend this place if you're visiting Brooklyn. Went here for a date and it was a hit. The staff was super attentive and friendly. Now to the food: Ravioli: 10/10 - 100% get it, savory sauce that's to die for Pizza: 9/10 - very thin and flavorful Did I forget to mention, the staff was amazing. I can't stop saying that enough, they made the experience 10x better

Andrew J.

Yelp
There is a very good espresso martini to be found here! Had a very nice dinner experience highlighted by their brussel sprouts. The Squid ink linguini was also very well presented but maybe could have had a bit more of a bight in flavor added. The staff was great and the desserts looked good, however, after drinks, apps, and dinner with sides my appetite had had enough. Maybe next time.

Sung H.

Yelp
Ordered linguine alle vongole, squid ink fettuccine, and couple wines and torta al cioccolato. The fettuccine was tasty. Vingole was good too but maybe could be more flavorful. The dessert was great. Beautiful modern decor, nice ambiance and the bathroom. Good for dates or just a nice dinner with ambience. I find it a bit pricey to be honest given its a standard italian meal, but also inflation. I wouldnt call it the best, but it was a nice dinner and good pasta.

Corey C.

Yelp
Just the right dishes to welcome us to New York! Came here as our first stop in New York to taste some great Italian cuisine in a beautiful space. Yelp
This restaurant is easy to miss, and seems like it's from another place (like it should be in midtown Manhattan). But the food is consistently good, they have a great happy hour, service is warm and inviting and the restaurant itself is beautiful, comfortable and not too loud. I've tried their pastas (cacio e Pepe and the paccheri are my faves). Brick oven (I think?) pizzas are solid. It's definitely a go-to, and doesn't feel like your typical Brooklyn restaurant (where all menus and places are starting to look identical).

Chrystelle J.

Yelp
I recommended this restaurant to my sister for her birthday. Their reservation was at 6pm on a saturday and the restaurant was pretty much empty. They assigned her a table at the very back of the restaurant. When she asked to move to another table they gave her a firm no knowing it was her birthday dinner. It wouldn't have been a problem if the restaurant was full-- but the issue is the only people sitting in the front was white people. They said she could sit at the bar if she wanted to. Coincidentally the only people at the bar were black people. I am appalled she had this kind of incident happen to her during her birthday celebration with her husband, at a restaurant I recommended.

Ali R.

Yelp
A gem!! So happy we stumbled on this place for brunch!! The food exceeded our expectations. Everything was absolutely delicious!! The waitstaff was very attentive, and the vibe was exactly what we needed.

Yasmine S.

Yelp
Absolutely love the place from the first visit. The food is consistently delicious, the service is impeccable and never failing. The ambience is calm, never over crowded, people are always dressed nicely as well

Chantel Y.

Yelp
Loreto is a beautiful restaurant. The servers are lovely. I came here yesterday for their 1 year anniversary where they had dinner and dessert specials, as well as a special guest from Italo Cescon Winery (the owner!). I ordered the (all specials for the day of the event): - wine flight $18 - white pie(mozzarella & ricotta, crispy speck, hot honey) $25 - mezzi rigatoni (wild boar ragu, pecorino, basil) $32 I also visited this restaurant last summer and the food was mediocre at the time. Last night's was delicious though! Rigatoni was perfectly al dente.

Nick W.

Yelp
Great experience eating here, really comfortable atmosphere. Not too loud. Especially loved the mushroom pizza, pork chop, and seafood ravioli! Would definitely come back.

Karen H.

Yelp
The food and service was great. Menu had a good variety of options. We had the Tartufo (truffle mushroom) pizza as an appetizer and for mains we got the Squid Ink pasta and a mushroom pasta. Both were very good. The space is beautiful and romantic which is one of the reasons I booked it, but it was very loud in there, which I know they can't really control. Maybe because it was a Friday night.

Yasmine S.

Yelp
I love the ambiance of this place. Beautifully decorated, dim lighting. The drinks we had were great (blood orange martini & red sangria). The food was delicious, perfectly seasoned and cooked. Can't wait to go back. No issues with service, everyone was nice, attentive, and efficient.

Monique J.

Yelp
Loreto is an absolute beautiful, delicious, and amazing restaurant! We used the space to host my beautiful sister's baby shower and it was an excellent day all around. We received so many compliments from the staff, to the decor, to the food, to the ambiance. And on nights of dinners beforehand, the food was always delicious and I went home with doggy bags. I would recommend wholeheartedly! Lovely all around!

dai y.

Yelp
I was transported straight to the breezy Italian coast right here! From the moment you enter this elegant wine bar, you feel whisked away to Europe. Food is great, service is excellent!!!

Keke C.

Yelp
Feliciano is absolutely amazing! All his recommendations on food were on point! He was attentive and just lovely to have as a server! The host was funny and always checked on us! We even got some free shots, overall lovely restaurant. The ambience, the decor, open kitchen, food was delish! I will be back!!!

Bk K.

Yelp
I'm sure there's a reason for the uneven reviews and I have good reason to agree. My good friend and I went for dinner on Sunday 6/11 and several surprising things occurred. Management of the restaurant is likely the problem. Here's what we experienced: We arrive for our reservation and are told by the host to wait while he checks something on the computer. A couple come in behind us who tell the host they do not have a reservation. After several minutes (approx 5-7) we are seated at a table right in front of the kitchen and are given a plexiglass cube with the menu QR inside of it. My friend asks why this cube for the menu and states she would rather have a paper menu. The host tells us there aren't any more available. Meanwhile many, many, many other tables are available and the restaurant is hardly busy. I notice behind me that the couple who arrived after us without a reservation were given a much nicer table facing the plaza outside AND they have paper menus which they are reading. Really, no reservation, they're provided a better table and all of a sudden 2 menus are available for them??? Next, the host somehow finds a menu for us to share and we eagerly choose our dishes as we are very hungry, having come from BAM and really looking forward to celebrating my birthday. We order the Caesar salad and Fritto Misto as our appetizers, glasses of wine, and the Loreto pizza. We make clear to the server that we want salad first, then Fritto and then the pizza. Be sure to do this, or you will get each dish served all together. The Caesar salad was nothing to write home (or to you all) about, and the Fritto Misto was meh. I've definitely had much better. The pizza was excellent and therefore the place gets 3 stars or else it wouldn't even rate due to the treatment we received from the host compared to the other couple without a reservation who got top, top treatment and table location. The Loreto pizza had an excellent balance of flavors and a perfect crust. I highly recommend it. The crust by the way, is not to be left on the plate, but consumed with each bite of deliciousness. Yes!! The pizza also left charred crumbs on the table. The sign of a good one. Our plates were cleared and we ordered dessert with tea and coffee. I had to point out the crumbs on the table and request they be removed as the server was either not aware of this, or chose not to look and be concerned. The crumbs were removed as we requested before dessert arrived. The dessert was very good, we shared the very rich Torta al Cioccolato and it was delicious. So, all in all, my critique of Loreto is that it is trying to live up to the standards of an elegant restaurant and fulfill the expectations of us savvy New York Brooklynites (or our visitors who come from all over to experience the renowned performances at BAM) and it may not be aware of the plethora of choices we have when it comes to Italian cuisine. In sum, I say, "try harder" and perhaps Loreto will get more stars. That's if I ever get over being snubbed while having a reservation for a special occasion in a place with only one small quarter of its tables occupied. Perhaps that's the reason why it wasn't crowded???

Abbot W.

Yelp
Ate there and have ordered Pizza delivery a few times. Very good fresh food overall but a bit pricey especially their pasta dishes. I would still recommend Loreto. Nice ambiance in restaurant. Good service.

Chris B.

Yelp
I luckily live pretty close by, which has allowed us to order for pickup and get their food very quickly and have it still be very fresh. Last time we ordered we got the Amatriciana and the ragu with a side of meatballs. Pasta and all the ingredients were very fresh. Very tasty and hit the spot. Prices are reasonable and their pizzas look delicious too. Need to try dining in one of these days.

Evita B.

Yelp
I had my birthday dinner here last night & it was such a great night all around I had to highlight all of the details. The ambiance, the decor, perfect for a celebration & can definitely see coming back for an intimate date night. The staff are so attentive, polished and friendly! Marco the manager was memorable, he was so present & charming and clearly was invested in making sure our group had a great time from seating comfortably, enjoying food, and having top notch timely service. Our waiter Vinny and a few others that checked on us were all so pleasant and accommodating. Now the food! Everything literally everything was delicious. Presentation, temperature, taste, nothing was lacking. We tried so much of the menu and I left feeling like I just have to come back and try more. Highly recommend this lovely gem of a restaurant. Thank you guys for a great birthday evening!

MIranda M.

Yelp
Wow. What a great evening we had a Loreto. The service and the food combined for an excellent dinner. We ordered san pelligrino and they brought fresh lemon slices with it. So thoughtful. We shared a frito Misto which was cooked to perfection and not at all greasy. We also had their capers and a beet salad with greens. All were well dressed and fresh. Then we had fettuccini with squid ink and fresh shrimp and squid..Al Dente and tasty. A perfectly cooked branzino butterflied with a green salad was lovely. Another person had the ravioli which she adored. We finished with a beautiful tiramisu. And we still made it to our 7:30 show on time at BAM. The service was impeccable.

Justin C.

Yelp
The restaurant was beautiful and all the guests appreciated the ambiance. Food was very good although timing of food could be improved. There was a decent gap between appetizers and entrees and the waiter admitted the entrees weren't started until after we were well finished with the appetizers. Additionally, the waiter implied dessert would be on the house since we were there for a birthday, but the dessert was charged to us even though we did not order even order a specific dessert! And even though the restaurant was fairly empty, it was really hard to flag down the waiter for water. But the food was very good. We ordered the beet salad and mushroom pizza as appetizers. The pizza was incredible. Amazing flavor. The entrees we ordered were the pastas and they were very good and cooked well. Would go back for the food and environment. Hopefully the service can be improved though and more transparency on the whole birthday dessert issue.

Nathema D.

Yelp
Lets start by saying, the FOOD was DELICIOUS!!!!!! We had a small get together of 15 people for our high school reunion and decided to just do a dinner, and we couldn't of choose a better place. It really made me feel like I was in a modern Italian restaurant in Italy, from the smell the ambiance and décor of the restaurant. I loved everything about that place the service was top notch, the waiters the bussers the chefs and the lovely bartender who help made all this happen for us. I must say ill be visiting very soon on my own. Those 5 stars aren't enough to rate the restaurant and service so ill add more stars on stars* stars* stars* stars* stars* stars*

Yelp
This restaurant is a gem. From the walk in greeting all the way to the service and food. When I walked in I was greeted by a lovely host. I didn't have reservations but they accommodated me and my daughter. We were greeted by staff and our waiter who was awesome. I ordered my happy hour drink which was a blackberry Margarita, yum . I ordered the fried calamari, with shrimp and zucchini which was perfect. I had the ink squid pasta with seafood and my daughter had the cacio e pepe, she loved it. She also had the lavender soda which she loved. For dessert we shared the torta al Cioccolato,, the different flavors in this dessert was amazing, highly recommended. Looking for ambiance this is the place, full ultimate experience. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Great experience at a brand new place! Their story is pretty crazy because they were basically set to open right before covid shutdowns and then had to push off a whole year - but here they are! First off the place is so classy and beautifully decorated, although I'm still quite covid averse so I opted for outdoor dining even though it was a bit windy. They have heaters outside but it was still a little chilly because of the wind - but bearable regardless. I did see the inside when I went to use the restroom and it really is a beautiful spot. My date and I split the Loreto Pizza which was absolutely delicious - we had actually been thinking of getting the Prosciutto di Parma appetizer and then realized the Loreto was basically the appetizer on a pizza. Super tasty and definitely recommend. For my main, I got the ravioli and it was excellent. I would happily order it again and I ate every last bite. We finished with the cheesecake pudding which was unique and very tasty. Definitely a great finish to an outstanding meal. The service was terrific as well - very friendly and attentive.

Yelp
We stopped in on a Monday night because it was close to our hotel. Our cocktails were excellent. I had the Espresso Martini. The oat milk liquor really sets this apart. The Giardino and Strawberry Mojito were also very good. We didn't get any appetizers or desert because it was hot, the day was long, and we were tired. Our entrees were: Fettuccine al Ragu, Ravioli al Formaggio, Filetto di Salmone, and the Salsiccia pizza. All of the entrees were very good. The pizza crust could have been crisper. The salmon had the best presentation with a bed of polenta, broccoli rabe and blistered tomatoes. The service was excellent and attentive.

Yelp
Was pleased with this restaurant. It's beautiful inside and the food was good. Although the pizza was slight mushy but the pasta and dessert were amazing! Would definitely recommend.

Yelp
I live a block away from Loreto and I have been planning to order from them for a while now. Yesterday I finally decided to order food for 4 people. Since COVID, I normally do not eat in restaurants but I do order takeout very frequently. Yesterday's experience with Loreto was a bad one. The food is a bit expensive for what you get and the taste is just average. The dine-in experience may be much better, but the take-out could be better. I will not go back to this place. BTW, the staff were friendly, but what troubles me is the quality of the food, the amount of food, the taste, etc. Ah, many of the Italian restaurants that I know will offer you some kind of bread, but not Loreto. Anyway, this is not a keeper, for me.

Yelp
What a wonderful last minute delight! Was craving some Italian and the bestie booked a same day dinner reservation. The ambiance, the decor, the staff and most importantly the food were all outstanding! Our table faced the open kitchen and it was great seeing the motions of the chefs prepare great meals. The cocktails were also great and ended the night with an affogato. Will definitely be back, would love to do a brunch here with the girls.

Yelp
All the food here is very good. Beautiful restaurant too. Great place for a date of dinner with friends. We ordered pizza, pasta and apps there was nothing we ate that we didn't enjoy. You can't go wrong visiting here. The dough on the pizza was perfect. Also try the steak tar tar you won't regret it!

Yelp
We've been waiting for a nice restaurant to open up near the Ashland & were not disappointed. Loreto is delicious! Especially recommend the Melanzane eggplant appetizer, the burratta, cacio e pepe, truffle pizza, and cheesecake pudding, although there were many other dishes I also wanted to order. Great hospitality. (A family member got some good news, so our dinner was a little celebration; Everyone at Loreto was so lovely in keeping the vibe festive.) Solid COVID protocols as well as heaters for outdoor seating. So thrilled we were able to dine on opening night and will definitely be back soon!

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant with great Italian food. The brick oven truffle pizza and diavola hot pepperoni was super delicious and portion was great as well. Service was awesome and the Decor of the place was very nice overall. I was a happy customer as restaurants are opening back up for business.

Yelp
New restaurant that is still getting their flow established. Super cute and stylish interiors. We ordered a few pasta dishes and my boyfriend think he ate a bad clam. Would come back to try other dishes but wouldn't try the pasta again. The service was very slow but friendly and professional.

Yelp
If you are looking for ambiance and a romantic dinner than this is the place to be in Brooklyn. The Interior design is flawless, the different mixture of lighting is amazing! There is a great selection of wine and tasty pizza. The wait staff were on top of it our wine glasses and water were never close to empty!
