The Best Restaurants in Sonoma County | Eater SF

"This cozy, two-story dining room conjures a charming Italian vicolo, complete with laundry hanging over a balcony and warm blankets for your lap, presided over by a giant wood-burning stove where classic Neapolitan pizzas emerge blistery and fragrant. Whether smeared with pistachio pesto or butternut squash cream, topped with smoked fior dilatte and Roman mortadella or oyster mushrooms and spicy salami, the only problem with these wonderfully thin and crispy pies is settling on which to order." - Christina Mueller

I first visited this spot by myself on a motorbike trip…..and I had to return to share the outstanding experience with my wife just last week! The food is very authentic and delicious. Cooked by Neapolitan natives with all the enthusiasm and flair you’d expect. The pizzas are the best there is in the BY area perfect thin crust with the freshest ingredients that change with the seasonal availability. A special stand out for the service staff too. Extremely enthusiastic and passionate about the food and the owners. A real team who you can tell have all been there grown the start. Sit at the bar, for a chat with Zoe over a glass of Italian red and she’ll recommend the best on the menu for you to try while immersing yourself in a true European experience. They have a restaurant in Petaluma too, try them both! They are epic!!! Until next time 👍😎🍕

We had heard great things about this restaurant from many friends and locals but were unfortunately underwhelmed whit our experience. It took nearly 50 minutes for our group of 4 four to have appetizers come out and another 45 for 3 pizzas. We enjoyed the polpette appetizer but were underwhelmed by the pizzas which were a little watery and doughy for Neapolitan style. Would love to come back and see if our experience was a one off.

Google
Great customer service, the food was delicious! I've never been to Italy, but this food is one of the best Italian foods that I have tried. The pizza tasted like it was made at home. Fresh made dough, fresh made pizza sauce with natural ingredients. The pesto was also made with fresh natural ingredients. We could really taste the flavors of all the natural ingredients and the food made to order. The desserts were the best, the Nutella pizza, and the Tiramisu are the best I ever tried. I wish all the restaurants would prepare their food fresh with natural ingredients, not from a can or the freezer. I'm definitely coming back.

Wonderful Italian restaurant with pizza and pasta. We ordered the capriccios pizza which was very good and delicious. We also ordered the bolognese fusilli which was superb! Service was fast and outstanding! It was a bit noisy with a table near us who were partying so loudly, we couldn’t hear each other. But beside that, this is a place we highly recommend!

We have been to Italy many times and the atmosphere in this restaurant is so close. We enjoyed the tasty food, friendly people and nice decor. Pizzaiolo from Sorrento is amazing. Will come back for sure!

The meatballs are so delicious! I would also recommend getting any of their pizzas. Just one pizza is perfect to share amongst two people. The ambiance is so charming and beautiful. Overall their service is so effortless great.

L'oro Di Napoli is hands down my top pick for the best pizza in Sonoma County, and definitely in Santa Rosa. The crust is perfectly crispy yet soft, with a texture that truly stands on its own. You can taste the quality of their ingredients, and the flavors blend flawlessly. The ambiance here is something special. As you walk in, the vibe makes you feel like you've been transported to Italy, with a charming faux-balcony overhead. Then, you spot the impressive pizza oven and know you're in for an authentic experience. Their menu is extensive, catering to every taste, and the desserts look incredible—I’m eager to try the Nutella Pizza during dinner soon! They also offer dessert wines, along with a wide array of beer and wine selections. But the food? It's simply unreal. Primavera Pizza: Fior di Latte and cherry tomatoes, topped with fresh arugula, burrata cheese, prosciutto San Daniele, fresh basil, and extra virgin olive oil. Drizzled with their spicy oil, this pizza is one of the best I’ve had in recent memory. Lasagna: Six layers of beef bolognese, Béchamel, San Marzano tomato sauce, and Parmigiano Reggiano. The lasagna is incredibly meaty and flavorful, with a home-cooked feel that's rare in restaurants. The portion is generous—perfect for sharing or saving room if it’s your main dish. It’s absolutely amazing. Margherita Pizza: San Marzano tomato sauce, mozzarella, Parmigiano Reggiano, basil, and EVOO. This classic pizza was a hit with both the kids and adults at our table. Add some of their spicy oil for an extra kick. To top it all off, the service is exceptional. The staff offers great recommendations, has a personality that matches the inviting ambiance, and is attentive to your needs. L'oro Di Napoli is truly a culinary gem. Highly recommended!

Placed is comfortable and you need to get the table next to the chef!!

Yelp
Excellent, authentic Napolitano pizza! Great service too. We really enjoyed this place and the Italian guys who work here were awesome. We started with the focaccia but it was really just a white pizza. Which turned out to be great as one of our party can't have regular pizza and she loved it. We also tried the meatballs. Then we had some margheritas and my husband had a pizza with a bunch of stuff on it. We all really liked the pizza - the dough is fantastic and cooked perfectly. The sauce was somewhat flavorless, so one star off for that. Otherwise- very very good. We are looking forward to their new location opening in Petaluma!

Yelp
Dinner here was exquisite! Service was fast, friendly, and super inviting. Ambiance was lively, yet warm and romantic. For food, we definitely over ordered for two people, but they made for great leftovers! I would say this is probably my most authentic Italian dining experience, but I've never been to Italy, so take that with a grain of salt haha Calzone - I loooved their dough on the pizza and calzone. So fluffy but still has a good chew on it. We thought the calzone would be smaller in size, but it's definitely as filling as a pizza! Also loved how the calzone was both stuffed with filling and topped with more tomato sauce/cheese. Boscaiola Pizza - soooo much meat on this LOL perfect if youre looking for tons of protein. Also, the caramelized onions on the pizza add a nice hint of sweetness Lasagna - Probably my favorite dish! The lasagna stands nice and tall with sooo many layers. The bolognese sauce was rich and hearty Our order looked so good coming out, that the table next to us ordered the exact same thing!

Yelp
To start off I'm not much of a pizza lover but this place blew my mind! My partner has been raving about this place for so long and I finally tagged along. First off, atmosphere is really cozy and feels comfortable. All the staff are so friendly and it feels like a family! Started off with appetizers. Highly recommend the Polpette della Nonna! Delicious sauce and tasty meatballs. Pairs nicely if you order the Focaccia which was the star of the show for me! The Margherita pizza never disappoints. But please try the Carciofata pizza! The cream/sauce was so creamy and savory. The mushrooms were juicy and delicious. Not to mention that crust! Wow! Please give this place a try!

Yelp
Wow! The food is so amazing here! The service is top notch, and the ambiance feels like you transported to Italy. Highly recommended

Yelp
L'Oro De Napoli has some of the best pizza in Sonoma County! There is both outdoor and indoor seating. The ambiance inside is cozy with personal touches of decorations to make you feel like you're in Italy. I think it's important to remember when you dine at this restaurant, it can get busy. When it is, give yourself some time to enjoy things like their wine selection and appetizers. When I dine here it's more like an experience than just eating pizza. The service has always been good. Although my partner and I have been here a handful of times, the owner recognizes us and always greets us. The food is amazing! The ingredients always taste fresh. Things I've ordered and have enjoyed: Appetizers:Insalata Mista, Burrata Caprese Pizza: Primavera, Boscaiola Dessert: Pistachio Cake I would also suggest getting whatever special pizza they have. I ordered a pizza with octopus one time and it was delicious!

Yelp
The food is excellent. The food presentation is excellent. And everything tastes delicious and fresh. The service is attentive without being intrusive. The ambience is casual and comfortable and very relaxed. How did I find out about this place? My son Andy lives in LA. His Italian friends are from Santa Rosa and they recommended this place. His friends have never been here yet, but my son from LA has been here four times! For the service bring you a few dishes at a time. So that you can enjoy each one without having to rush and try everything before it gets cold, Go at 11:30AM, if you can when they open. It's all about creating special memories when you go out to eat. The memories are all you remember anyway, never what you pay. Go here and it will be a special memory. These pictures are from two times that we went there. The first time was August 24th, 2024. The second time was November 30, 2024. The menu is updated with many new items! I'll be back!

Yelp
An authentic Italian eatery. Has a friendly neighborhood vibe and I just love hearing Italian being spoken there amongst staff. The restaurant has two levels of seating inside and also some tables outside street side. I've been here a few times and have always had a great experience with service and the food is fantastic. The ingredients are high quality and you can really taste it. The pizzas have the greatest crust. The wood fire oven puts a good bake on it - crisp and chewy. I finally had their lasagna, I make my own so i knew I was going to be super judgy, but it was so good. I liked their addition of tiny cubed carrots that gave it a slight crunch. Also, can't go wrong with their cocktails - delicious. Planning on being back soon.

Yelp
The mushroom and truffle oil pizza is one of the best pizzas I have had in the Bay Area. Was shocked to find something this good in Santa Rosa. Unfortunately I also had the octopus which was a few small bits of octopus drowned in tomato sauce. Definitely do not order this. Would definitely come back next time I am in Santa Rosa.

Yelp
The food was superb , but the service was even better. Zoe was our server, and she was excellent, she was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and on top of everything. I went with a friend and we ordered bread, the Margherita pizza, and a salad to share. I was impressed when they brought the shared salad on two separate plates. Overall great food, great ambiance, and amazing service, I will definitely be returning.

Yelp
There is no finer product than Chef and owner Dominico's pizza, using authentic ingredients and the finest 00 Italian dough, his pizzas are not found anywhere in Sonoma County. Chef Dominico's staff is fun and are always happy to see you in all 3 languages, Italian, Spanish and English!

Yelp
Ok, I'm comparing this to some of the best pizza places in the bay so it couldn't be perfect but with their 900 degree oven they get pretty close. Fun atmosphere, also liked the meatballs.

Yelp
We went here once for the first time recently, part of our effort to take in the newer places around town which we not yet tried, and overall found it to be excellent. It is a nice location, the old La Vera Pizza place,on 4th St and in addition to the indoor seating has a small amount of outdoor seating in a nice area of the street. The ambience there is comfortable. Although depending on the time of day the outside may be a bit sunny, they do have awnings providing shade. Service was very friendly but a bit slow. We got the barbabietole salad (rocket/aurgula, beets, ricotta, etc.) and it was excellent. It had a great mix of textures and flavours, and the ingredients were fresh and excellent. We got two pizzas, the capricciosa and porkigiana. Both were excellent and the crust was excellent with great texture and taste. They had some good wines. We'll definitely go back here and try more.

Yelp
Ordered take out on Saturday evening before mother's day. Quoted 10-15 mins for the pickup but it was actually available after 25 mins. I had ordered the margarita and the Ortolana pizza. The pizza was hot and tasted fresh. It did get slightly soggy in the middle but I'm sure if you eat it at the shop then it would've been perfect. Flavors were spot on, the Otolana maybe would've benefited from a side of tomato sauce. I'd come back to try other pizzas. Service was friendly and fast.

Yelp
5 stars all around! After watching a magic show at Luther Burbank, my fiance and I were looking for a late-night dinner in the area. Luckily, L'Oro Di Napoli was open and popped up on Yelp. We saw the photos and immediately knew we wanted to eat here. At 30 minutes before closing on a Saturday evening, it was really easy to find street parking right outside. Metered, but free at that time. Even though they were closing soon, the staff greeted us happily and we were seated immediately in their upstairs area. It felt like being welcomed by a family - literally every staff member from the host to the chef and other servers said hi to us and welcomed us as we passed by. The ambiance is beautiful, like we're really having a nice outdoor dinner in Naples. I love the decorations and brick walls. The mood lighting is not too bright and on a late Saturday night, I loved how perfectly busy/not too busy it was. Zoey was our server and she was THE BEST. So kind, attentive, and had endless recommendations for us, all of which were top-notch. She never made us feel rushed even though it was the end of the day and she made sure we were enjoying the meal all throughout. Now, the food.. amazing! I love a good pizza that doesn't make me feel guilty after and that's exactly what we got here. + Chef's special (something they were offering that evening - jalapeno cream sauce, mozzarella, pulled pork, barbecue tobasco aioli): while I was hoping it'd be just a little more spicy, we did get some chili oil to put on top that was a perfect complement. I liked the sweet and spicy balance of the pizza and again, so light and not too greasy. + Capricciosa ($25): a delicious and better version of your fav combo pizza; a winner! + Tiramisu ($12): first of all, the presentation.. so fun! and it tastes even better than it looks! I don't know if I've ever had a tiramisu this light with the perfect amount of espresso; it can't be beat! + Pistacchio cake ($10): I don't normally like pistacchio, but this was delicious. You can't go wrong with this one. The one thing wrong with this restaurant is that it's too far from me :( Excited to head back here in summertime, maybe eating out on their patio after a day of wine tasting and pairing the meal with one of their spritzers/wines.

Yelp
Wow, my friend and I had a most impressive experience last evening here. We were greeted so warmly as we entered by the host person. It felt like we received a warm welcome hug. The decor transports you to Italy and there is a running video of images from there. We shared a pizza that was recommended to us by our fabulous wait staff, Zooey. Her smile was genuine & lovely. She checked on us several times and it was a pleasure speaking with her. The manager also came to say hello as did the chef who wanted to be sure we were enjoying our food. We did not have time to enjoy a dessert but next time (and there will be a next time) we shall. Come here for superb service, food & ambience.

Yelp
I wanted to try this restaurant, and I'm so glad I finally went to have dinner. I was blown away by the delicious food. I liked the cozy ambiance and the waitress was super friendly and knew the menu. The way she described each dish made you want them all. She asked us a few questions and suggested the perfect dish for both of us. I started with a house salad which was simple but the dressing was really good. The Eggplant Parmigiana was the best I've ever eaten. I could only eat half and took the rest home for the next day. The eggplant dish was delicious even the second day. The dessert was an amazing tiramisu. I dream about that tiramisu and can't wait to enjoy it again. The flavors were delectable you could taste how fresh everything was and their marinara must have used the best tomatoes. I heard they actually have them shipped from Italy. So worth it. I'm planning on bringing my out of town guests here. I would have taken a picture, but once a took a bite there was no going back, I savored every bite.

Yelp
We've been to this spot a few times and everything we've tried on the menu was delicious. I wouldn't think of L'Oro Di Napoli as a pizza place for the simple fact that their Lasagna was one of the best I've had in this area, and the menu is full of delightful pastas, salads and appetizers. However, we had two of their pizzas and they were full of incredible flavor, very light dough, fresh cheese, bright sauce... Yum! My family loves to get the calzone, which isn't at all like ones I've had in the past. You can tell when food is fresh, and this food tastes great and settles well. Our waiter was attentive and friendly, and shared more about the food when we asked. We sat on the upper floor which felt a little more private and sheltered with nice lamps. I'd suggest that area for a more intimate date night, whereas the balcony, bar, and bottom floor in general are better for people watching and social chatter. This place is a gem.

Yelp
We happened upon this place during their soft opening and have been fans ever since. When the craving for wood fired, brick oven pizza hits, L'Ord Di Napoli is definitely high on my list. Seems each time we default to a bottle of Catalana Montepulciano D'Abruzzo. Easy to drink, pairs well, affordable. Restaurant Week 2024 brought me back this time. $35. -Insalata Barbabietole (Wild arugula, lemon ricotta, caramelized hazlenuts, golden beets, red beet strawberry puree, olive oil, balsamic glaze. -Lasagna (Layers of pasta sheets, 100% Angus beef bolognese ragu, bechamel, Parmigiano Reggiano, basil, EVOO -Homemade Panna Cotta topped with fresh strawberry compote Truth is, I was glad to try these dishes but my favorite is still the pizzas. Their margherita is perfectly cooked, just enough flavorful sauce, dough has the right chew, cheese compliments and basil decorates. I do like a little drizzle of the chili oil but it's not necessary! Service has been consistently friendly and professional, and has evolved over time. No reservations. Wait times can be long but that's what's nice about the location and text notifications. You can wander and shop while you wait. Tight little entrance, cute little patio, ample upstairs, and the bar always seems full of happy patrons. Plus sitting the near the heart, the oven, is fun!

Yelp
Food: We loved the pizza and our desert. They both were very delicious. Service: Nice team! They were very kind. Ambiance: Cute decorations. You can happily feel the Italian culture.

Yelp
Just thinking about this restaurant makes my mouth water. We were lucky to be here during restaurant week. We came here for an early dinner on Saturday evening- I would definitely recommend making a reservation or hopping on the Yelp waitlist. The restaurant seems to be very popular and there seems to be a lot of locals/regulars which is always a good sign. After getting on the waitlist we waited for about 30-40min which is not bad. The inside transports to Italy and you can see the magnificent oven. The owner/pizza chef and everyone was very friendly- big smile and greetings which makes you feel truly welcomed. We got a table in the corner upstairs which is nicely decorated with exposed brick. Very kid friendly with coloring page and crayons. The kids water came in this ocean themed straw cup too. There is a kid's menu which we did not try this time. The 3 course restaurant week meal was a great deal at $35- we started with a salad with arugula, macademia nut, yellow beets, and a delicious balsamic dressing. For the main we tried the pizza and the lasagna. Literally the best pizza- the dough was light and thin and the cheese and toppings were fresh. The lasagna is the literally the best lasagna I have every had in my life. You can literally taste the sauce and all the chunks of vegetables inside. The portion size was also very generous. For dessert, we had the tiramisu and panna cotta. The tiramisu was wonderful. I wish the panna cotta was better presented (came in same cup as the water). After reading about the pistachio cake, I asked our server for one to go. She had to check to see if it is available because it is a hot ticket item and sells out. It got busy and she forgot but was able to secure a slice and even comped it which was super nice of her. She also checked regularly with us to make sure everything was good. I had the pistachio cake the next day and it was delicious! Can't wait to come back- my husband wants to make a trip just to eat here again. It's great to dine at a restaurant where everyone chips in to provide great food and a great dining experience.

Yelp
Came here with my childhood friends for our annual reunion dinner and our server Zoe S made sure it was a special night for us. Great service, great ambiance, and incredible FOOD!!! Tasted very authentic and full of flavor, and the pizzas were perfect for splitting. Will be definitely making this our annual stop

Yelp
I went here with my daughters for some pizza because I read that they replaced our favourite restaurant, La Vera's. Our two pizzas were fantastic, the service was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals ate both pizzas for 3 people! Delicious! We had the capriccioso and the carciofata.

Yelp
I can't believe I've never been here until now! The staff is really friendly and service was pretty quick. They were very attentive and got us everything we needed. The star dishes were the lasagna and pistachio pizza. The lasagna was so hearty and delicious, and tasted like a homemade lasagna. I loved the sauce! I kept dipping my bread it in to soak it up. It's very filling, so it's definitely more than enough to share. The pistachio pizza has mortadella and pistachio pesto on it, which is different than any other pizza I've ever eaten, but it worked! Loved all the flavors, and the crust was so light and airy. I didn't feel overly full because the pizza wasn't super heavy. We ordered the pistachio cake for dessert, and it blew my mind! It wasn't too sweet and the pistachio cream tasted more like a mousse. The bite melted in my mouth. It was perfect with the whipped cream on the side. Definitely will be coming back for more!

Yelp
This is one of those places that deserves 6 out of 5 stars for going above and beyond on ALL counts. First the ambiance-- elevated, yet warm and humble. The restaurant is split into two levels - the first for smaller parties and the second where larger parties could gather. Major kudos to our server Zoey who somehow navigated our double digit group with grace, humor, and marked attention to detail. She made us all feel so welcomed and when the food came out, she knew exactly where to place them. Now the food, delicious, savory, fresh, bursting with flavor. The burrata is a stand out - Zoey explained how the tomatoes lived in olive oil for a whole month and biting into one of these was sensory party in my mouth. Sorry - I might sound dramatic but that's just how good it was. And the pizza? Better than what I had in Naples... Neopolitan style pizza is thin crust and chewy and my favorites included the Margherita and their special butternut squash and sausage pizza. Finally the tiramisu. You just need to try this. Perfection is...moist and caffeinated. This restaurant truly captures the essence of good Italian food in every way - friendly, lively environment, colorful vibrant, fresh Italian food that looked as amazing as it tastes. Thank you so much for making my birthday weekend in Santa Rosa so special!

Yelp
I love the ambiance and atmosphere of the restaurant. It looks like a street in Italy, and they play walking through Italy videos on the TV which were fun and gave it an Italian feel. The pizza was bomb, and my wife who doesn't even like pizza ate both slices. Service was top tier, they were super authentic and we even had an amazing time as we talked with Francesco. Def would come back

Yelp
We ordered a few pizza's to go from here to take back to our airbnb. The pistachio pizza was soooo delicious! I regret not getting 2 of these!! I can't stop thinking about it!! They also have a no cheese pizza option! Which was prefect for our friend who couldn't eat cheese!
google avatar

Yelp
Incredible service. Kind and helpful. Obviously take pride in their food. As they should. Absolutely delicious! We had the pistachio pizza the bruschetta with zucchini. Truly fabulous. Pretty sad we are just driving through and won't be able to return.

Yelp
Lackluster. Pizza was cold and mushy in the middle. I asked for onions on half of a pizza and it was COVERED in enough for 6 pizzas, like a joke. Salad was boring. We were in town and had Acre pizza a few days later which was 1000% better.

Yelp
SPECTACULAR food! The best eggplant parmigiana I have ever eaten, including in Italy. Excellent service, nice ambiance... we'll be BACK!

Yelp
My husband had come here a couple times with his son and very much enjoyed it. I had never been. Husband was craving pizza tonight so he decided to take me here. The restaurant was packed and we were lucky to have been able to snag a table for two without a reservation. We were seated upstairs. The vibe is nice, the decor is well executed. From the person who sat us to the person who served our food, they were wonderful and provided great service. We decided to split the insalata mista and the Boscaiola pizza (San Marzano Tomato Sauce, Mozzarella, Italian Sausage, Red Onion, Mushrooms, Parmigiano, Basil, extra virgin olive oil). Our salad came quickly and they were kind enough to serve it in separate bowls. The ingredients were very fresh and I really liked the vinaigrette. It seemed like it took a really long time for our pizza to finally arrive. Granted, they were busy. The pizza was very underwhelming and quite frankly, a disappointment. The crust was good and that was about it. We imagined the Italian sausage to be in crumbles as is typical for pizza, however this was sliced links. And we're pretty sure it was sweet Italian sausage which has no place on a pizza. It made the whole thing strangely and unenjoyably sweet, and many of the pieces we ate had a strange, gamey taste. Both the onions and mushrooms appeared to be sautéed previously rather than allowing them to char on top of the pizza. There was one single, itty bitty piece of basil. The menu said it had parmigiana but I couldn't detect that at all. I've read a lot of negative reviews of their pizza and most complain about it being soggy and chewy. I am very familiar with Napoletana style pizzas and I would say Loro Di Napoli's qualifies. The centers are wet (as intended) and the crust is made in a very specific way which I suppose could come across as "chewy". If you're looking for a very crispy pizza, this is not the place for you. I would definitely return to try a different pizza since my husband has had two prior positive experiences. I just don't recommend the Boscaiola.
google avatar

Yelp
Great authentic Italian pizzas. Extremely recommend it to anybody that wants to eat some crispy juicy pizza.

Yelp
Scheduled a rainy day Saturday lunch with daughter and grandchildren. Walked in and immediately noticed the Napolitain fascades, which lent authenticity to our meal. L'Oro Di Napoli is owned by a pizzaiolo from Naples. We ordered tomato bruschetta to share as a starter. We ordered 3 different pizzas, a margherita, a napoletana, and a zucotta. Two people ordered the eggplant parmigiano sandwich, which comes with a choice of arugula salad or roast potatoes, which they declared delicious. Service was friendly, very informative, and timely. Everything was delicious. Sole complaint, the bruschetta needed seasoning.

Yelp
It's a nice and friendly place! I like it the first time walking in greeted by friendly staff. We had burrata, salad, pizzas and lasagna. My favorite is the lasagna!! I'm not a lasagna person but I'll definitely order that again when I come back. It has lots of meat sauce and the pasta feels like freshly made! The pizza has interesting toppings to pick from. I like both pizza has fresh ingredients and the crust is crispy outside and chewy inside. The middle of the pizza however is a little soggy to me. We asked the waiter and we were told it's how it is with Napoleon style pizza. I haven't tried enough Napoleon pizza to know but am interested to find out.

Sara B.

Yelp
The restaurant has refunded the cost of my order without a request for that from me. I fully appreciate such concern for addressing an issue from a customer and have updated my review accordingly. That is very conscientious service.

Yelp
There are no words to describe how amazing this restaurant is. Our server was lovely, and we loved her energy and kindness. We ordered everything she recommended and loved it all. When we first walked in, we were immediately greeted and introduced to the restaurant's chef and owner. They excitedly greeted and welcomed us. The decor instantly captured our attention. The food was excellent! We can't wait to go back! We had a wonderful experience. This is now our favorite Italian restaurant. The restaurant is full of life.

Yelp
This place is a true gem. The ambiance makes you feel like you're in an old Italian New York neighborhood. And the food is 10/10. This place will be part of our date night rotation!

Yelp
My wife and I were looking to try a restaurant we've not experienced before and Yelp helped us find L'Oro Di Napoli. First and foremost, Miles, our server provided the best customer service we've had in a long time. He was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. When he asked my wife if she enjoyed the glass of wine, my wife expressed a little hesitation. Miles looked to find another selection which my wife enjoyed and removed the first glass from our check. My wife enjoyed the Margherita Pizza and I had a delicious and huge Lasagna. We loved the decor of the restaurant and the dish ware looked very cool. We will definitely be back :)

Yelp
Ora was our first stop on my wife's birthday pizza crawl and we were not disappointed. Right in downtown Santa Rosa it is easy to find and there is lots of parking nearby. The vibe is cool and the pizza is hot! Classic Naples style the crust is poofy and chewy with just the right amount of char. The toppings for the pies we choose were a bit of a miss as the Napoli was, not surprisingly, quite salty and the zuccatta was a little on the sweet side. We will definitely come back for the crust and will choose different toppings. The person sitting next to us got the lasagna and it looked amazing. Huge and he said it was really tasty.

Yelp
Delicious pizza, great service, and better ambiance. Lorum ipsum for Yelp's annoying character count requirement.

Yelp
The sauce for the eggplant parmigiana was incredible, I was surprised by how delicious it was. The Diavola pizza had an okay taste and was so soft. There was absolutely no char/crust on the bottom of the pizza which is disappointing, since they have an authentic Italian stone wood-fired pizza oven. If you hold pizza by the crust it should be able to hold itself up somewhat. This pizza all the toppings and cheese would immediately slide off if you tried. I had to fold each piece in half and hold the bottom with one hand and crust with the other so it wouldn't completely fall apart.

Yelp
This is our 3rd time here and it's just gets better every time. My pizza was delicious and my husbands Lasagna was excellent. We didn't like the potato appetizer that much, it was more of a side dish not an appetizer. Service was great! We just walked in and got lucky. Can't wait to go back.FYI it's fun to sit at the bar too!

Yelp
Well, that was a total surprise of deliciousness, great service, ambiance, and everything! All of our dishes were just like you were in southern Italy. The pizza dough was truly Napolitano and you must get the tiramisu. We just went here for the first time the other day, but I'm already thinking about when we can go again. Wonderful restaurant, keep it up!

Yelp
I've been to many Italian places in Santa rosa, and this place is by far the best I've had. To start, the service was amazing. Every single person we interacted with treated us with kindness and hospitality. They were so full of energy, and their love for their food was contagious. the ambiance also showed much attention to detail, showing their Italian roots even having a cute balcony with clothes hanging. got an order of the meatballs, the margarita pizza, and the Primavera, and all were amazing. unfortunately, their Woodfire oven wasn't working, but even still, the food was amazing, and I can't wait to come back to try the Woodfire pizza and the lasagna!

Yelp
I had high hopes that this was going to be a perfect Neapolitan pizza, the pizza names were authentic, and you can watch the pizzaiolo making the pizzas. Sadly, the crust didn't have the perfect texture/chew that I was looking for. I'm wondering if it was because it was early in the day and the dough hadn't had enough rest time? The focaccia was also flat, just a pizza dough with oregano. Good wine selection and nice ambiance. We will probably go back and give it a try for dinner.

Yelp
Ordered online yesterday afternoon for dinner pick up through TOAST. Seamless ordering and pick up. Pizzas are excellent, not your usual American thick flour and crust with pepperoni. These are thin pizza, homemade with most of their ingredients coming from Italy. I ordered the Margherita and the Diavola (spicy salami) pizza. So fresh, this is all about the flavors and the toppings! The meatballs was also a hit. The tomato sauce was a little sour but not too bad. Came with a side of bread. I first heard about L'Oro Di Napoli through an article on Sonoma Magazine. The article showcased their Lasagna which I would have loved to try but did not see it on the to go menu. I would also like to see more offerings including pastas. Otherwise, excellent new restaurant to the downtown Santa Rosa dining scene!

Yelp
Food is great, but the service has gone down hill, my last to go order was 45mins past the ready time, a total of 1hour 20mins front the time I ordered. The service kept telling me 5mins, 5mins... once the pizzas were finally made it was actually 5mins. Hopefully this will change
