Really hate to do this, and only a few days later, but I have to keep the reviewing consistent and be fair.
Just happened to be nearby and my wife suggested we get some food here again. Even before going inside, I joked that the older lady who is generally at the register didn't seem to like me the last time I'd been there, which was strange. But then after going inside and quickly looking at a menu, we stepped in line to order. After the folks ahead of us ordered, the older lady at the register couldn't get away from the register quickly enough to find someone else to take our order, while she stood there and glared at me from about three feet to the side. Again, weird but... okay?
The family ahead of us got their food, ate and was on the way out the door as we sat there waiting for a fairly small order. One of the people in the family said, "Wow, you're still waiting?" before they left lol.
Food was good, as usual. There didn't seem to be quite as much meat in the gorditas as there usually is, not a big issue. I was surprised by the service though. The order took forever and nobody was even close to being nice.
[shrug] It's a small business, not a huge space, seems family-owned, etc. Personally I like supporting those kinds of businesses and giving them my money. But this is a situation where just being cordial and acting like you actually want my business is a really low bar to clear, and it's so odd that multiple people working in a small business like this won't clear that bar.
But needless to say, if they don't want my business, no problem.
