Nice and decorative restaurant. Friendly staff and delicious food. We were offered chips and salsa. The salsa is very spicy. So take it easy. I ordered the chicken street tacos during happy hour. Great price and fast service.

Sooo What

Google
The music is so loud you have to yell for the person next to you to hear. The food is so spicy that you can not taste the flavors of the food outside of the red or green sauce. There is no mild/restaurant style sasla for the chips. I think its the same sauce used on main dishes. I hate that. These are the reasons that stop me from coming more than 1 time a year. I would easily come more. The margaritas ARE AMAZING! No place has come close to getting me right with just 1. Chips are very good, along with the rice and beans. But anything with or touches the sauce just isn't appetizing.

Google
Great Mexican food at very reasonable prices. The atmosphere is somewhat eclectic with Mexican music in the background. Prickly pear Margarita is excellent! Spicy menu options are definitely spicy. Service was friendly, but it was slow to get our check, even when we were the last table to leave for the evening.

Housed in a historic older house in Phoenix that looks worn, this Mexican restaurant has great green and red chili. On the inside, it has quite the atmosphere and the music was trendy too (not the worn and tired Mexican music you get in most Mexican restaurants). The food was great, the green chili rivals anything I’ve had in New Mexico during the time I lived there. I have eaten here several times and it is really quite good. Go and eat. Bring some friends. Can be a bit spicy!

My best friends and I visited to celebrate our 30th birthdays! We absolutely loved our margaritas- they even made me a special NA marg! The food was out of this world— we could not believe how delicious it was!! Best Mexican food we have ever had! The most remarkable was the service we received. We had waiters checking on us so frequently and I feel in current times, exceptional service like this really isn’t common. I bought a t-shirt because I never want to forget this experience! The decorations were also so fun and created the coolest vibe. Visiting this spot will be the best choice you’ve ever made!!!!

I’m gonna be eating here for the rest of my life. Can’t believe I just found it lol. Had the garlic pork, absolutely delicious. The hot salsa in may regret but so delicious.

I've been here several times but not recently. Stopped in enthusiastically with a friend at 4p on a Saturday for a drink and a snack. I'm so disappointed that they ripped us off on the alcohol. A sign when you walked in said $4 Tecate, Dos Equis, etc so I ordered a michelada thinking maybe it will be twice as much - $8. Friend ordered a margarita and the server asked if she wanted a "fresh" margarita and she said "sure". I got a bean tostada, she a cheese enchilada. Walked out 45 minutes later very unhappy after paying a $50 tab! All about the alcohol! The michelada (which didn't even include a premium cerveza) was $13 and whatever was fresh about the margarita made it $15. Come on guys! Charge what you want (well, no, not $13 for a beer and some tomato juice), but don't bait and switch with the $4 beer promo and give a brother a heads up that the cocktail you're suggesting is twice the price of the standard at comparable Mexican restaurants all over town. It leaves a really sour taste in the mouth of your diners who walked in thinking all good thoughts about LDM. DO NOT RECOMMEND. WILL REASSESS.

Google
I have lived nearby for 20 years and i have never been here. Mostly because of other reviews. This is my favorite place to eat! The chicken enchilada with green sauce are excellent. I have tried both the margaritas and michelada. Both amazing! Definitely a place worth trying. I have been back twice in a month.

Yelp
Have I really never written a review for Los Dos after 20 some years of going here anytime I am in Phoenix?! For history's sake I will give them 4 stars but today was more like 3. Went for Saturday brunch for the first time. No wait. Sat right down. Service was slow and food was slow to arrive. Fortunately drinks came quick. The servers have never been super friendly here and years of being popular have certainly made the restaurant comfortable in doing things their way and customers be damned. If you love the food you just learn to roll with it. And really the food is the deal. Intense, uncompromising New Mexican food that will set your hair on fire. Some like it hot indeed. In the old days you'd be guaranteed a wait and planned to just have a pitcher of margs and chips in the meantime. Now you can sit at your table and do the same wait after you order.

Yelp
Okay first of all let me tell you about the good style.... If you like spicy and flavorful sauces like enchiladas, carne con chile or burritos or something eith a saucy sauce, this place is the place you want to go too. The food has an authentic new Mexico tatste and the service is exceptional! Just to give you an example Erik gave us great recommendations, took time to explain spicy levels and also the difference between your regular style Mexican food vs this new Mexico style food Overall, the food was delicious, the music was great and the service was exceptional! Come vist them... I know i am!

Yelp
The food here is so good,I hesitate to bring out of town guests, it's mean to send them back to their home town where this restaurant doesn't exist. Every time the staff is happy to see us and take great care of us, The only reason I had to go 4 stars this time is that the music in the dining room was almost too loud so we had a difficult time having conversation over dinner.

Yelp
This is my go too Mexican restaurant in Phoenix. Fantastic food, service and love the outdoor patio. The best salsa in town!
google avatar

Chrissy V.

Yelp
I give 2 stars because of the atmosphere the music was nice it's a cute place but I didn't enjoy my food I was expecting heat but it was alot and it takes away from the flavor. My table was dirty and As I was looking around the area where I sat was dirty . I was very disappointed I was hungry and really look forward to some good food.

Yelp
I love this place so much. The food is amazing and so is the service! Can definitely get pricey quick with their margarita pitchers, but well worth it

Yelp
Stopped by this past Saturday evening for dinner. Was greeted and was told to find a seat along the right side of the restaurant. I asked if we could sit at the booth near the front entrance, the waiter said that table needs to be cleaned. Then as I responded that I was willing to wait for the table to be cleaned up, the waiter/server with his hair in a bun just walked off and headed to the kitchen. We walked out due to the service, which was very unfortunate because we were looking forward to our dinner at Dos Molinos.

Yelp
This New Mexican restaurant (Some like it Hot and if you ask very hot!) is amazing and has the best Carnitas and Adovada tender pork dishes I ever had with delicious rice and beans with a homemade flour tortilla( I had 3!) also had a fresh kick ass Sangrita so good and strong I really have to limit myself unless my buddy is driving. I generally finish by ordering sopapillas for desert fluffy pastries drizzled with honey and cinnamon sometimes I'll order it with vanilla ice cream. I'm getting hungry again just writing about it I can't wait to go back!! It's also located at the foot of South mountain and its amazing atop views of the Valley of the Sun. Staff was great thx again I'll definitely be back.

Yelp
The only reason they get 3 stars is the drinks are great. It was obvious to me that they cater to the taste of wedos. We asked if we could sit outside because music is too loud inside but the guy said they were only seating inside. He rolled his eyes when I said music was too loud. It's a small place inside and loud music makes it difficult to have a decent conversation without repeating. The next table had to talk so loud we could hear their conversation. We sat for an about 10-15 minutes before anyone came to table. The wait staff is friendly. Our waiter may have been new because each time I asked about certain food he wasn't sure. I asked for two carnita tacos with Cilantro, avocado and queso fresco. What I received was two taco with carnitas, lettuce tomato and Mexican cheese mix with a side of guacamole. They charged me an extra $12 for the guacamole! My daughter ordered a carnitas plate and was brought a chile plate(wrong order). We might return for the drinks.

Yelp
Aric was really friendly and welcoming!!! The happy hour deals are great!!! Get the $50 margarita pitcher and house shots!!! #cheers.

Yelp
First time here and after reading the menu I noticed it's New Mexico style Mexican food. I also noticed the very high prices. I order something simple as I always do at new places. If they cannot do that correct then I know the quality, value, and service will be disappointing. I ordered the two chicken taco plate. The tacos were hard shell but very low quality ingredients. The beans were sour and rancid. The rice was dry and stale. Prices vary but nothing is less than 15-25 bucks here. Not worth it. The place had a decent vibe but just like the lack luster food it's falling apart and losing its charm. Service was horrible as the host/waiters are not personable and almost rude. I would skip this place and find something better as there is way better value, quality and service elsewhere.

Yelp
There are many worse injustices in the world, but chief among the lessor wrongs I'm aware of is that at the time of this writing, the original Los Dos Molinas is rated only 3.5 on Yelp. This is an insult to the integrity of Yelp's rating system. In the reviews there are complaints that the food is too spicy (yes, in fact it's very very spicy, so beware), the service can be slow sometimes (they are very popular and very busy - but my service has never been slow), the food is tasteless (are you kidding?? It's easily some of the most flavorful food I've ever eaten), and the décor is cheesy (yes it is.) If spicy food and cheesy décor is not your thing, then don't go. If you can deal with that, then visit Los Dos Molinas and you'll be in for a treat possibly unlike anything you've ever tasted. This location is basically a national landmark, located in the former ranch home of Tom Mix. If you don't know Tom Mix, he was a silent movie star - basically he was John Wayne before John Wayne was John Wayne. There is an outdoor courtyard where you can sit and drink while waiting for a table in the smallish dining room. The dining room is somewhat dark and full of kitschy décor, but this doesn't impact the quality of the food. I highly recommend beginning your meal with a bowl of green chile stew and a savory sopapilla - wow, so good. I've eaten at this restaurant on regular visits to Phoenix over the past 30 years (my first Yelp picture of Los Dos Molinas is dated 2013) and it's consistently been delicious whether I've had the enchiladas, the pork roast, or anything else on the menu. Everything they serve is spicy, but pay special attention to the chile symbols on the menu as they designate the items that are EXTRA spicy. As the chef says right on the menu, he doesn't know how to make mild. Los Dos Molinas is my favorite Mexican / New Mexican restaurant - I lived in Houston / San Antonio for 10 years and Oklahoma for 7, so I have a pretty good idea what Mexican food is supposed to taste like. If you can handle spicy food, I'm confident you'll like it too.

Yelp
For the Baseline location, no matter how bad the service is, the Adovada makes everything OK. Just as good and spicy HOT today as it was 40+ years ago. There's a reason why the pitcher of ice water is on the table!!! The Camelback location has much better service and the spice level is more tolerable.

Michael K.

Yelp
Love this place. I was told about this restaurant 10 years ago by a former player. I came 10 years ago and it was amazing. Now 10 years later I've come back. The food is just as fantastic as it as then. I love that this place has survived Covid. Small quite spot great color and decorations. Service was fast. Chip and salsa are great. The salsa has amazing flavor and a bit of a bite in their spicier one. It's great to know that there is a family owned & operated for place for over 50 years. It's a place I will make sure to go every time I'm here for work in the future. The green chili stew is amazing and so filling. Not to mention the low prices for their food. So affordable great to feed a family for a little cost. Can't say enough about this place

Yelp
Every time I visit friends in Phoenix, we wind up at Los Dos Molinos. It's a great gathering place, fun to watch people and oh so good when it comes to food and drink. It serves hot and spicy New Mexico style cuisine. I finally found out the story on the restaurant's name. The founders had two chile grinders, and that's what the name means, The Two Grinders. Many of the entrée's feature a chile next to them. That means it's "Hot". They don't provide mild sauce and they are proud to say they do not know how make "Mild". Beyond the delicious house Margaritas, the carafe of ice water was helpful throughout this meal. We arrived early for dinner on a Friday night and beat the rush that shows up a few hours later. We were seated in the outdoor patio, which with perfect February weather, was a great dining experience. The inside dining area is often described as homey with lots of spectacular artwork and sculptures. Every dish is prepared special and they make a point of telling you this isn't an assembly line/microwave restaurant. The menu offers entrees low in fat and gluten-free. The house specialty is slow-cooked, red chili-marinated Carne Adovada served over fresh tortillas. It was a standout for our meal. The Green Enchiladas, Roast Tacos Dinners and Roast Burrito Dinner was equally as good. Los Dos Molinos never disappoints!

Yelp
This new Mexican restaurant is a staple in the Phoenix community. This is your true, authentic New Mexican cuisine that keeps the same quality and taste throughout the years. I enjoyed my green chili stew with sopapilla on the side that I've had for the past 20 years. My husband had a taco salad and said it was the best, tastiest, crunchy shell he's ever had on a taco salad. I don't live near so I don't get here very often, but it was a real treat to come back and enjoy the ambience and flavors that I've enjoyed throughout the years. Don't forget to enjoy a margarita! You only need one. Watch out for the red sauce, it's hot! But I love it.

Yelp
5 Stars We have been coming to this Los Dos Molinos(LDM) location for years! What is consistent when we come every time...the great service and the kitchen puts out the same taste every single time! This is a must visit spot in Phoenix. Do a little research of the building and what different purposes it has served since it's inception. My favorite, it once was a morgue! Unless you are dining on a off peak time, I wouldn't pepper the servers with trivia questions about the building. This is not Bubba Gump's where you get a discount based on your trivia knowledge! If you are not about the capsaicin life or releasing endorphins when eating spicy foods, keep it going! There are plenty of places that serve kids meals around the valley! This place does it one way, spicy baby!!! We have not tried every single item on the menu, but my photos show a good sampling of what's available. You just need to jump in your pristine vehicle or your Hooptie and get down here! The available items will not let you down This is the best explanation I found online of the body's functions when spicy is introduced. If you are not certain you will enjoy spicy foods. Take yourself somewhere that will bring you more pleasure. A burning sensation spreads across the lips and ignites the tongue. Mucous membranes, which protect the lungs from harmful inhalables, go into overdrive, making the nose run. A surge of blood travels through dilated vessels and body temperature shoots up, triggering a full on sweat meant to evaporate the heat away. The lungs send an alert to the diaphragm to hiccup quickly and repeatedly in an attempt to evict the fiery invader. A full-blown reaction to spicy food is born.

Yelp
Incredible everything, better like spicy food!! can't be the cool old school atmosphere.

Yelp
I hate giving poor reviews, but this experience was bad enough that I needed to share. I'll start by saying 2 stars because the food was pretty good. We went with a group for Happy hour and pulled up the happy hour menu, pointed to the margarita on the happy hour menu and asked if we could make it spicy. The server said yes. We then pointed to the street tacos on the happy hour. The server asked hard or soft? We ordered some of both. Because we ordered the margaritas to be spicy, we were charged full price, but not told this. I was a little annoyed by this, but initially thought I'd let it slide. Then I saw we were charged full price for all of our tacos. They said because we ordered hard and soft tacos, those aren't on the happy hour menu. We literally pointed to the happy hour menu and said street tacos and were asked if we wanted hard or soft. At this point I brought the bill up and said there had been a mistake since we were charged $62 extra and that's decently significant. The managers basically said tough luck. I told them we live right next to the restaurant and would come give business and I had already told some neighbors about it and they said they didn't care, they've been here for 40 years. Customer service is more important than anything and the fact that they couldn't honor their happy hour prices shows lack of integrity and unfortunately I can't support a place that isn't kind to customers. We for sure would have come back since it is so close and brought more friends. It just goes to show bad business actually makes you less money in the long run. Hopefully they will at least learn from this experience and adjust the service.

Yelp
Los Dos is an echo of what it once was. The recipes are still there, but the execution and love seem to be gone. We had a lunch adventure on a Saturday that was a comedy of errors and misteps. I ordered a bloody mary for lunch and got some sort of red margarita thing. It was undrinkable. Both of our entres came out incorrectly assembled. My beans were flooded with lime juice, rendering them inedible. The adovada still tasted as good as it did 25 years ago, but all else was a disaster. The reign of Los Dos over the Mexican food world in Arizona may be at its end. It is a sad day.

Yelp
Fire food. Fire service. Fire drinks. Fire prices. No complaints. Eric is the king and so be sure to ask for him so he can serve you!
google avatar

Debi D.

Yelp
Great service. Only thing is ...if you ask for a tea to go they don't give it to you. After you have left over tea. They don't have any cups. But they do have cups when you ordered out.
google avatar

Stan F.

Yelp
It's another 5. We just love this place, and yes, we may be biased because we're south Phoenix residents and support small businesses in south Phoenix/Laveen. Had garlic pork roast burrito and my spouse the relleno burrito. Helped to have a couple of house margaritas, too. Carlos always takes good care of us.

R B.

Yelp
Great food! The most flavorful and authentic Mexican food in the valley! Great drinks. Great service! Ambiance is very Hispanic. This place gets packed so go early.

Yelp
Food delicious spicy but really good ..... Erick was amazing definitely will be back best service

Yelp
Went to Los Dos Molinos for the first time. Was looking for some good food with heat.the family and myself were seated right away. Drink order was taken and brought out quickly. Food was ordered, only I ordered spicy, they all went soft. The red salsa with the chips has a nice kick that my family said was to hot to enjoy, more for me The green was very mild. The restaurant is decorated with old license plates and things of the like. Service was great from beginning to end. If you're looking for one thing to nitpick, all the food did not arrive at the same time. Two plates, then the other two about a minute later.
google avatar

Kymbre D.

Yelp
I understand the idea of serving spicy food, but come on! I couldn't eat anything. From the salsa with chips to the tamales, it was ridiculous. My friend who invited me couldn't eat her food either. She had to take it home to "cut it with rice." I asked if I could have my food without the devil sauces on them, and they would not accommodate. I get it, but enough is enough. No thanks. This was very disappointing for me, and this is my review, so it is what it is. If you like insane heat, enjoy it. Never again for me.

Murisa W.

Yelp
Cute place by South Mountain and more New Mexican flavor but I love the enchiladas and the crispy pizzas, it's not fancy, more of a cute hole in the wall. Service is fast

Sean L.

Yelp
The place doesn't disappoint. Always good food and drinks. Even better the old world NM vibe is awesome. Love Los Dos!

Yelp
Showed up an hour and a half before close, were ignored for a good 15 minutes while standing at the register, waiting to be seated and then the gentleman finally acknowledged us only to tell us they decided they wanted to close early that night and sent us away. We were there at 7:25 and he said they decided to close the kitchen at 7:30 and sent us off. Horrible customer service.
google avatar

Yelp
Our company frequently has lunch at this location with staff and vendors. The food is spot on and the green chili sauce on anything is the bomb! Service at lunch is always quick, friendly and attentive. The ambiance is a bit strange from the street but trust me, park and walk in. Authentic Mexican decor and fun place to eat. Enjoy!
google avatar

Betty W.

Yelp
It is set up as a small Mexican Village with authentic decor. Service is friendly and the food was delicious. I will definitely be back again.

Chris B.

Yelp
I don't know what the authentic New Mexican experience is, but if I had to guess this is the spot. The location and its surrounding reminds you of a quieter time when the desert wasn't quite as crazy as the city it is now. Consistently great food and generous portion sizes. Service is great and I'd put this place on the hidden gem list of Phoenix.

Yelp
My son and daughter-in-law took me to Los dos Molinos for my birthday during lunch. I've always been interested in trying the food and checking out the building..... for the restaurant has incorporated a part of history. The place started as the ranch home to Hollywood actor, Tom Mix. It was cool to imagine what the area looked like in the 1930's. The food was superb and our waiter was prompt. I had the drink of the day, their version of a Long Island ice tea and it was tasty and dangerous.... Tasted just like a cold refreshing ice tea but you could feel the alcohol once you went to stand! The menu was s marked with a chile on the spicy dishes. We were brought two different salsa's: one was good with a kick and the other kicked you before you even tasted it (spicy!!). After our meal and settled the bill, we wondered around the place being looky loo's. Has a beautiful courtyard with tables, chairs and an outside bar. An older building marked "Cantina" with another bar area with ample seating when in use. We all enjoyed our meal and jog down history.....and we all four agreed we'd definitely be back again!!!!!!

Josue V.

Yelp
I called to order some tacos. The gentlemen who picked up straight told me they are not a Mexican restaurant. They must be smoking something over there and it ain't on the grill.
google avatar

Nicholas C.

Yelp
It takes a village! So they say, we had basically 3 servers: 1 awkward water server that doesn't seem keen on greeting you, likely a forewarning that you should want to be there as much as this guy does! Another waitress that's eating and dancing while taking orders! Finally, a random taking your bill. Poor cooking, the street chicken tacos tasted and smelled like fart, we got ripped off on the bill but figured keep the cash, you won't last much longer! Margaritas are priced well considering they taste nothing of alcohol, and make sure you get the happy hour prices. Man don't come here for anything even a 40oz is cheaper at QT. If anyone recommends this place to you they're related to the business, have no taste, hate you, or all of the above. Stay away, go to Taco Bell instead!

Yelp
This had to be one of the worst Mexican restaurants I've ever been to. Service was terrible. After waiter dropped off the menus, He took over an hour to take our order. After an hour and 15 minutes had passed I finally said something. I ordered a Chimichanga which is essentially a Deep Fried Burrito with Cheese, Guacamole, & Sour Cream. My friend had a Bean & Cheese Burrito. It took another 45 minutes for our order to come to the table. My Chimichanga hadn't been deep fried and the side of Pinto beans were half cooked and firm. I told our waiter and he didn't offer to take it back and make it right. And then to top it off, had to flag down another waitress to get our check as our waiter magically disappeared. I didn't eat my meal at all. This was my first time at this restaurant and now will be my last.

Yelp
The food is amazing. The carnitas were delicious along with the homemade tortillas which are the best I've had in years. Along with the prickly pear margaritas yummmm!! I had to leave room for the sopapillas . The staff was very attentive and wonderful and we will definitely be back and make this place a routine visit. Definitely worth it. FYI the traditional atmosphere of New Mexico is so comforting.

Yelp
This used to be my favorite place but the last two times I've been here the waitresses have been rude and offensive to the customers. The food was fantastic! I suggest to order in advance or take out. The music was up so loud everyone was screaming and we could barely hear each other speaking. The waitresses were rude asf! My husband asked for soup and the waitress went on to say that this is not a Mexican restaurant it's Native. So we clarified that the menu has pazole... and he said yes that's not soup it's pazole. So we ordered the spicy nachos which was great. The tortillas were hot and crispy and the food was amazing. Then, I asked the waiter if they had any mock tails because last time we got the margaritas and we were so drunk off the pitcher that we had to haul a cap and leave our car. The waiter went on to say that he didn't know what was a mock tail and they didn't have any non alcoholic drinks besides soft drinks.. so I ordered a sprite. We were a party of four. I ordered the the garlic shrimp and my mother ordered the same. My husband ordered the red Chile enchiladas. While trying to talk, it was so loud we couldn't hear the waitress, my mom and I were done but hubby was still talking and the female waitress came by to clean our plates. She asked me if she could take the plates and I said yes but my husband didn't hear her because he was whispering in my brothers ear.. again it was so loud, so she accidentally took my husbands tortillas. So a few minutes later, he noticed they were gone. We flagged her down and he said, where's my tortillas? She responded, I asked the table if they were done and I was giving the go ahead to dump the food. But, he pleaded I still wanted it. So she went on to argue with him back and forth about the tortillas. Until, I intervened and said, can you just get him another tortilla? She responded fine! And left with an attitude. When she returned, she placed the tortillas by his elbow, not addressing him and apologizing. Just walks off and he nearly drops the tortillas. Horrible! horrible! service! I looked at other peoples tables to see how they were being treated and the customers, didn't seem happy. They just have a bad attitude. We waited 15 minutes for our receipts, no one returned. So, I walked up to the cashier and paid. I did give a $20 tip because that's just etiquette. I don't know the entire story but being a secret shopper for years, I have a strong feeling that the waiters are stressed. We wont be returning. I'm big on treatment since we are Afro Latinas and we are big on establishments treating us with decency. We are Afro decent Panamanians and we speak Spanish so the Mexican statement was a bit offensive! Since the menu has mexican dishes... it's like going to a Chinese restaurant and they are made we ask for sushi which, is Japanese.. we are just trying to have good food, convo, and good drinks and don't need a class on ethics and history.. It was my moms first time and she was upset that her Michelades were served in separately containers . Meaning the waiter gave them a bottle and a glass with tomato juice and lime. Who serves Micheladas that way??? But they both agreed that the drinks were amazing. Just bad service and Loud. Dos Molina's please do better we love the food. But was still hungry afterwards so I went home and cooked a meal. So the portions were skimpy.

Yelp
Very good authentic Mexican food in Phoenix. If you like a little good spice this is the place. Their green salsa is to died for and their red salsa is to cried for. We ordered combo #1 & #5 with green Verde chili - very good the combo #1 was so spicy we only ate 1/2 the plate. There were a mix crow of customers from white, black, yellow and brown- there are rainbow people too. The service was fast and the food came out in timely manner. This is the original place and there was a story behind this restaurant. This restaurant was a former house of a famous movie star back in the days of silence black-and-white movie. He cashed and his car rolled on the hills South from this place. I highly recommended you try this place when you are in Phoenix.

Yelp
Came here the recommendation of a friend. Really fun and kitschy looking place. There's a big patio in the Middle where you can sit, a cantina is off to one side and the restaurant is off to the other. Had to wait at least 15 minutes to get a table on a Saturday evening around 5:30. I had the garlic pork platter which was good but it definitely didn't have enough spice. I specifically asked for spicy and more green chilies but it's still just wasn't spicy enough for me. Next time I'll have to really make a deal out of it! Service was pretty good. They sure were busy though. Good chips and salsa but I needed it spicier, spicier, spicier! Call me one of those gringos that just can't get enough spice. I would definitely try it again though because the food was really good. As long as I can get it spicier next time

Yelp
love the food here - never disappoints! but i'm writing most about the SERVICE - last night my mom and i went to LDM on central - a place my mom, step dad (keith) ALWAYS go to when i'm visiting from out of state...one year ago yesterday keith had a stroke (and died 1/8/23) - my mom and i came here last night to honor him since this is his favorite restaurant...i told DOLCE this story and she said "i'm going to light all the candles on the wall, including the 2 up by the picture of Jesus, that we rarely light - in honor of keith" - my mom and i almost cried! what an incredible SWEET gesture! we will be back every year to honor keith and to continue eating the best new mexican food in the area!

Yelp
First time here. Had the cheese crisps and the New Mexico green chile stew. The latter was pure goodness in a bowl, with slow cooked pork, potatoes, and carrots in spicy NM green chile with a side of rice and a whole lotta magic. Really amazing taste. My understanding is that they can be erratic with their hours of operation, so you do have to be aware of that. These are the only things that I ate there, but I noticed that someone else said it tastes like a chain restaurant. That was certainly not the case with the green chile stew or the cheese crisps, which were obviously extremely well-prepared and very special. Great place, and a comfortable place to hang out and catch up with a friend.
