Los Globos

Went to The Moth storytelling show last night and it was incredible. The space, the vibes, the staff, everything was incredible! I even got a mini tour of the space because I briefly met the owner and the booking agent! Both the owner and the agent are super kind people. I can tell they really care about their people and community. I think it's the perfect space for live events and can't wait to host some here. Thank you! we always have a great time when we go. vibes are there and love the music choices. only thing is they charge a lot for drinks but still always have a great time. never have to wait long for the line, maybe thirty max. lots of parking (paid and free) around so thats never an issue.

We went last night to support our local friend djs. However , had to leave early because they were people smoking cigarettes and marijuana in the red room dance floor and when we reported to security, they said it was allowed because they didn’t want too many people smoking on the sidewalk. There was absolutely no ventilation. I won’t be going back.

Went here for a concert and we waited more than hour before we were let inside. Organizers didn’t let anyone know what was going on. Everyone was just standing outside and honestly getting annoyed because we just wanted to get in. There’s only two restrooms on the first floor. One for each gender which is wild to me. The performer we saw was amazing so no complaints with them at all. It was so messily organized that I will not be going to another concert here in the future.

Came for the Maurice NYE party. The event itself was great! However, a few days later I found a charge on my credit card for a liquor store I had never been to. This also happened to be the only place in months that I physically inserted my card. My bartender also made a vodka cran without any soda water - a dead giveaway that he was not a real bartender. Pretty sure he put a skimmer on the payment device.

Drinks were crazy expensive but the place is phenomenal. Super cool atmosphere. Super cool people. Love all the different rooms really cool. Place to go if you have a chance

I attended a Candy Pop party here, and it was a good experience. The theme and organization were on point, and while the venue isn’t huge, the spacious smoking patio on the ground level is a nice bonus. The bartenders were friendly and kept the line moving, and the drinks were made with decent alcohol, though the pricing was inconsistent — I paid $10 and $20 for the same drink within an hour. Security and staff were friendly, which added to the good vibes. Overall, it’s a solid spot for theme dance parties and small concerts.

Absolute waste of time, their themes suck, staff and security are insanely disrespectful. The whole situation with getting there before 11 to get inside for free is just a sham to get people to line up and make the club look like it’s popping but they don’t open the doors until right before the time restriction, in top of that they let minors into the club because it’s (an 18+ club) so you’re really just partying with Jail Bait. Definately do not recommend it if you have a life or could party elsewhere. Spent 60$ for a waste of time. Drinks are mid and don’t really do anything, pretty sure I was jipped, the police are always on standby and parking is a nightmare. If you absolutely need to go out clubbing literally go anywhere but here… I’d recommend Catch One over this place.

Hollywood Man are awesome. We came in with the girls to celebrate my boss/friend divorce. Had a blast. Boys really put in a lots of work into their dancing and performance. Show was very entertaining and I feel like my cheeks were hurting for the next 24 hours from smiling and screaming. Highly recommend Hollywood Man show for girls night out.

Terrible, Rude bartenders at this place. As a bartender myself, I was in shock with how rude the service was. A bartender last at this terrible bar rudely made comments to me and my friends over an issue with the drink WE ordered from the bar. I definitely don't recommend if you're looking for a nice bar with good service.

I went here for the ACCR after party for Romy and it was paaaaaaaacked! I appreciate the venue and how it had multiple different floors, but OMG -- once Romy was on it, it was so hot and congested. Good luck moving anywhere. Overall, this place is pretty big and special in LA. I used to come here back in the 2010s for club nights (oh to be young again), and it was funny how I came full circle and ended up back here again after a Los Globos hiatus. This is a good place to check out if there's a special event!

I've came here with friends twice. It's a spacious multistory venue with some bars and dance floors! Both nights I came the concerts were vey fun with very different artists and crowds in attendance. My friends and I came here most recently for my friends show. While we were hanging out til it was our friends' turn to perform we got some drinks. They drinks are the reason why I can't give this place 5 stars. If I'm paying $15 each for a cocktail I'd like the cup to be filled especially if it's already only an 8oz cup. The drink was pretty mid and really turned me off from wanting to order any more $15 cups for just a few sips worth of poorly crafted cocktails. The performers and DJ's here are great and have put on a great show for both times I've came, I just think I'd try drinking at other places prior to coming here for more drinks.

This place is a definitely a place that does money laundering. I ask for a mezcal mule and the bartender charged me extra for a red bull? Then later that night my friend got 1 drink and the guy charged $60. It's a club mixed with underage children and terrible vibes. Whoever works in accounting, please audit this establishment

Iconic venue! Depending on night there's always something to do at Los Globos. There's is so much history in 50 years! Fleetwood Mac, Post Malone, Skrillex have performed at Los Globos!

I had a great time performing here. Such a nice spacious place with AC and right on sunset.

Not my typical spot. I've been here once and didn't really enjoy it but this time I went for a special show. I think it's decent for a special event, the weird thing was the bar tender charged me double for my second drink, and both were the same drink. When I said you charged me double he didn't accept it and blamed to others saying they might charged wrong but funny thing he was the only bartender that night, and I grabbed the first drink less than 20 mins ago, so I would know... so honey feels kind of scratchy.

Extremely expensive watered down drinks. Had to get a "double" just to try and compensate. But all I achieved was a bigger bill for more ice

I love this venue! I love coming here to dance to latin music or for afrobeats nights! It's such a vibe!

Omg this place is horrible , waited an hour and as we get closer to the entrance they say 30$ but the sign said 5$ all night what makes it worse is they say it's free from 12:30-1 but they don't open the gate till 12:50 ! Scam , people were leaving before we even entered . 30$ for a club where people are consistently walking out is embarrassing for the dj, owner, and people that actually paid. To top it off the line was full of dirty ugly men that eye you down like they're gonna get lucky! Half of them have more inches in the gut than their D. People we wearing sandals, leggings, and a stained top. Dirty ugly crowd, bad prices, and fat security guards that guard their food more than the building.

Always a great time here! I haven't been here for 10 years and came in last night to celebrate a couple friends' birthdays. DJ played a lot of old bangers and kept a good flow for the dance rooms. People all ages are always good to step in and there's no weird vibe inside. Everyone's all a fun time and you'll see a mixed variety of different ethnicities here too which says a lot about the venue! I had such a good time I guess my wallet (Louis V) fell out of my purse. Some angel turned it into the staff. I had awesome help from Tony and Tommy when I frantically went over the next day (had to lock all my cards temporary and had to wait til 10 pm) to check with the security. Thankfully the people who seem to come here have good hearts and were able to turn in my wallet when they found it on the patio. Thanks to the great team here for working on this with me! Los Globos is timeless and just a great place to get out to. If you haven't gone here yet, you need to try going at least once!

I am going to ignore the other reviews here because I think, for the money, and ease of access in general, this is a good place to see up and coming performers in the atmosphere that you would expect in Silverlake for late night music. First off, it is easy to get to, and if you get there earlyish, you will snag street parking. Time it to arrive at 7:45 and the meters are free afterward. Go grab a bite -- there are dozens of places near Los Globos. Then head to the club around 9 when the first of a half dozen acts kicks off. We were there to see Brooke Howard and Night Darling, wonderful rising stars. Night Darling just released their first album -- worth getting, and Brooke is in the process of launching hers. The venue is large and airy. You can get drinks or just nurse sparkling water and lime (as I did) all night. No one pushes anything. There was a check-in at the door, which I personally appreciate. As far as I could tell in the darkened space, it was as clean as it needed to be. The stage, lighting, sound system, and seating (limited) were good, but be prepared to be on your feet most of the night. Leave your bags, purses, wallets in your trunk and just bring your phone. Dress in any outfit that makes you want to dance -- you will see it all here. As someone who did a fair amount of clubbing in the past, I found Los Globos to be standard. If you have lived or spent time in Miami, Rio or the Caribbean, this place is typical of the ones you find literally on every street corner in those places: simple, walk-in casual, lively, and good. You may even hit a night when the acts are great, as we did. That said, why not 5 stars? The second act was absolutely atrocious. The lead singer was literally off-key and swung from guttural to gibbon on every song. It took a long time for everything to get underway and so, for this early riser, the delays only aggravated fatigue (so rest up beforehand, capiche?). The seating/table availability is extremely limited, which meant either standing or sitting most of the time -- not ideal. The sound was fuzzy at times and far too loud. I value my hearing -- next time I will bring earplugs, caveat clubtor. All in all though, I think this is a fun place to let off some post-covid steam and broaden your play list. We will be sure to go back. Meanwhile, keep your eye on Brooke and Night Darling, they will soon be headed to pricier venues.

Roberto has the best customer experience I'ver ever seen...knows exactly what the people want!! The food is super good for its price, would definitely recommend!!

BLACKLISTED Completely HS vibez! Don't come unless you wanna hear that tik tok music lol. Bathrooms were decent. Space overall is good.... But not my vibe. Lots of new "hip-hop/rap" (if that's what you wanna call it) valet was super nice and tried to help us out with parking since parking is not great! WILL NOT COME BACK!!!

I came to Los Globos with my friends for the 1st time and we couldn't believe how big the venue was from the inside. They had several floors that had different DJs spinning and it was pretty epic to be able to checkout the different rooms & its vibes! The place was packed but we felt comfortable dancing and walking around, they even had several bars so getting our drinks were easy! We had a great time, the vibe, ambiance was super fun and we will definitely be back for their other events!

Tommy is the best !! I lost my passport in this place and they helped me find it. Loved the security + great music

we reserved tickets before 12:30 and were in line at 11, they said we had to wait and get out of line. They moved us out of line multiple times. Security didn't know why they were moving us and had us all create a separate line for our 12:30 " event". When it was time we went in and they said you had to be here before 12:30. Made no sense they let other parties with the same tickets and refused to let us in. People faking they're the boss and then telling us to pay $40 , then $30 then $10. If I could give zero I could.

This is one of the best clubs in Los Angeles, hands down. Spacious, clean, and plenty of space to dance or floor out.

I went here for a 2000's night. I'm not giving this place 1 star just because I started to have fun w my friends after I was drunk enough not to care. First off, the security in the front was very weird. Then after you enter the venue, you're welcomed by the scent of cigarettes that stinks up the whole place. This venue is pretty tiny too. The bartenders were a bit weird being so aggressive about tips too like.....,,

This is a fairly small venue. All my years living in the community. I've always passed it. But I've never was drawn to it. But recently, a friend's son was performing. And I wanted to support. I actually had a good time. As I said it's small, the stage is right in front of you so, there are no chairs. It looks like it can also be a dance floor. You just stand around and watch them perform. The Soundsystem is pretty good. I don't think I heard any crackling or pops. The drinks were not overpriced as the reviews were stating. no rude, bouncers or security. The ladies working in the front were very nice and friendly. I do recommend going just to have the experience of it. and then you can make up your own mind.

High school vibes is what this place is. I only came because I thought 21 savage was gonna host because they posted a ad with his face but clearly was false advertisement. Security was good and the line moved fast. No one was even at the bar because like 95% of them weren't even 21 and had x in their hands. Not worth paying $30 to skip a line either recommend just staying in the free line

I've been to this location a multitude of times. However, when I went by myself--a Hispanic male--I felt that I was racially profiled and treated unfairly. Every other time I have been to this establishment, I was with a group of Korean and Chinese people. Those times, I was welcomed with open arms and treated very well. When I came without those groups, however, I was treated very poorly, in such a way that I see as discriminatory. I would not recommend coming to this establishment.

Complete scammers, Asian promoter outside made us pay $30 when it said free before 11. Cheapest drink was a shot at 20$ a shot. Interesting layouts, Main dance floor was good, side floor looked interesting but empty. Main issue was getting in and the tickets. Just wait in the line, looks long but it's fine. Enough time to pregame. Get there really early, they say free before 11 but we still payed. Get there early and wait. Worth it but not worth getting scammed

Definitely overpriced $40 after party venue is like eating steak sirloin at McDonald's and charging you $30.... It just ain't right. Nothing in this venue would justify even a free entry. Bouncers were overzealous to point that even customers didn't care because why overhype the joint, and have attitude? I mean most of security was nice it's just portrayed rudely, don't kill vibe man! The floor was stickier then a sperm bank, and so forget dancing smoothly. And no alcohol past 2am? I get it but then dry your way to victory I guess?? Not feeling it overall and the only saving grace was the Korean DJ was pretty smooth that night with a decent mix. But nothing holds you here, and people were few and far between. These reviews are accurate sadly I feel guilty my roommate paid for me to get into this joint

Please note Friday night's are for the young adults 18 and over. They were charging $30 per person for upstairs which has 2 rooms the Main room plays Reggaeton & hip hop and the little red room with seating plays a little of everything. The music change slightly based on the DJ playing for that night but I heard Friday are always lit. I believe the other level downstairs plays more 90's or something. It was packed and honestly everyone was having a great time, never a dull moment. If you're 28 and older this night might not be for you unless you're a cr... This building is pretty old/historic and can be scary if you get anxious with huge crowds or claustrophobia so don't go!. and Also keep in mind if a fight or fire happens you're screwed, plus security didn't check for any weapons. Just saying.

Was having a great night until it was time to leave and we ordered a car. Tried to leave out the front and they said go out the back down the stairs. The stairs were completely jammed packed and not moving an inch for 5+ minutes, so we tried explaining at the front again - this guy cussed us out and pushes us toward the stairs again even though the front door was right there and empty. We tried one last time and couldn't get anywhere. After not having any option but to miss the car or exit the front, we showed him our phone screen with the Uber outside and walked out. This bouncer INSTANTLY starts screaming that I'm a F@GGOT. 10+ times, in front of everyone, in between saying he was going to stomp my face into the curb. All I kept saying was "we're literally leaving, just let us get to our Uber, we're not coming back in." Every other bouncer around kept saying to let us leave, but he kept following me out the exit to my Uber trying to wrap his hands around my neck while calling me a F@G. The second I pull out my phone and record - he shuts up and runs back in while his coworker/boss was yelling at him to leave us alone (see pics). I was hate crimed and assaulted at this venue by this bouncer. The layout and setup for the Rhonda party was not functional or safe at all (tickets were $50). This guy is a homophobic piece of $hit, and he loves to call patrons F@GGOTS loud enough for even their Uber drivers to hear. Don't think I'll be coming back unless it's to visit Shrek at his swamp.

Personally Feel Los Globos was solid 6/10 I came back from Europe over the summer, wanting to see what the club scene was like in LA. Since I was 18 at the time, the options are limited. Obviously compared to Europe the atmosphere feels more restricted, no drinking, etc. The DJ s were really good, was only on the upstairs floor because I was 18. The bouncers seemed nice, didn't witness any aggressive behavior. I went with my best friend and we had a good night, it was her first time clubbing it up and we both stuck together so it was a fun evening. Only complaint would be that I felt the drinks (non alcoholic) were over priced spent $30 on 2 rounds.

I've been here twice before for smaller events and haven't had issues but came for a larger artist and they way oversold on tickets. It was immensely crowded and made it easy for pick pockets to steal my phone and my friends phones out of our bags that were otherwise secured.

Got invited to watch a band called VRSTY. They were awesome and all the other bands were good too. The venue is small but more than enough to have a good time and enjoy the entertainment. Had a great time with my friend.

Tommy and Judy are amazing!! Every time I go Tommy always makes me feel safe and is always friendly. His sister Judy is also a sweetheart. I cut myself on some glass and she took great care of me. All employees are pretty great but those two are just amazing. If you ever need anything that's who I go to.

Right after 11 they charge a cover fee of $30. Went for Fiel Fridays hoping to hear a lot of reggaeton since that's what was posted. Turned out to be all rap. DJ was really bad. drinks expensive and check if 18 year olds are allowed because it honestly felt like a high school formal.

Everything about this place is terrible. It's dirty, the staff are very rude, the security can be suspect in their behaviors, and no food should ever be sold here! There have been some great parties but the sound separation is terrible- this place could be awesome but it's pretty basic in what it offers. Never the less it gets the job done.

it was funnn but we got free tickets for 10pm we got there early around 9:30 and we're still kinda at the front of the line. They didn't start letting people in until 10 and told everyone their free tickets were invalid and we had to pay 40$ per person . we were waiting outside for over an hour and the only reason we went was because we needed to use the restroom, definitely not spending my money here anymore

The event manager that handled BS complaints was a hater and embarrassed me last night in front of my friend! I will never go back!!!!!!!!! Manager had no proof or witnesses of me being out of line at all!..I hope they fire him!!!..He just ruined my night on a night where I got along with everybody!..What a hater!!!!!!!!!!!

On January 27 at the BLACKOUT event eventbrite hosted at Los Globos there was no dress code written on the tickets. I got there with my friend that drove us. And when the bouncer saw me wearing flip-flops he looked inside and looked at me and said "I'm sorry, boss. But you can not come in." Surprised I asked why. He said. "Sorry you wearing flip-flops. I'm concerned about your safety and on the dance floor people can step over your feet." I've been clubbing over 20 years with or without them. And at the Abbey or any other club I frequently go never before was I denied from coming in. So I asked my friend if he wanted to go in by himself because I could not get in apparently. My friend said. "No, we will go home. It's not a problem." Then the shady bouncer said "Well if you have some money we can work on something and I can let you in." Confused I asked? "What do you mean?" He replied "If you give me some cash and anybody inside reprimand you just say that Eric in the front has your back." Only because I wanted to see the dj and enjoy my night I gave him money on the side to let me in. And let me tell you this was the best money I ever spent in my life! 8 different guys stepped on my feet but I didn't feel a thing because I paid Eric so I was protected! That was my insurance working for me, right? All jokes aside Eric is a disgusting conniving sleezeball that started my night on a very sour note. The bartenders and other merchants inside need to get on it. Because I was "out" of money for his extorsion and bribing I could not have a couple other drinks nor tip nor buy stuff the event was selling.

The security guards/bouncers charged us $120 (4 people) for entry and a ticket to go in fast which obviously is ok because the line was really long. But then when we were giving our ticket to the next person to let us in and he was charging us $5 more each again. We were confused and mad because we had just paid and why wouldn't they tell us that we were still going to get charged again. The worker told us to pay or he will get us kicked out. We were trying to ask why they were charging us and if we could get a refund if we wanted to but they told us too bad that they wont give a refund. Then the worker told my sister to her face "what are you gonna do about it little girl". Never going here again.

bunch of rude security guards/ hosts/ bouncers. bunch of scammers, they charge multiple people different prices than what told outside drinks were overpriced and watered down. $20 cup ice. tickets online dont matter. you will pay full price

Worst place ever been to in all my years going out with friends. Nasty bouncers n pushed us away from bar., Get charged 8 dollars for a cheap bottled water n soda. Charge 30 dollars a person to treat customers like cattle. Don't go here ever,

SMH. Got hella scammed. Free RSVP is NOT real. $33 per person for yellow wrist band (21+). They let a limited amount of people in before 11pm. You need a RED wrist band to go upstairs which is separate. Inside restrooms are dirty and dance floor is really small and crowded. Drinks are expensive, tiny, and shitty. Expect to pay $15+ per drink. They let a really drunk girl in and she threw up on party member. "Security" didn't do anything about it. Asked for refund, Asian guy walked away saying that he could not give refund once in the club. Please put them out of business and do not come here.

So much fun! I went here with some friends in the summer for Reggaeton night on Thursdays and we had the best time! The music and dj were great, the crowd was hyped and the venue was beautiful! My only gripe is that WATER was $7!!!

Meh. Not the worst thing I've experienced but not great either hence the 2 stars. Also, there is an ATM inside if you need cash to pay for the hidden fees. Won't be coming back.

If you guys demand money at least play some music to dance to, they demanded more money even tho we already have boughten the tickets, the club was cool in general but it was the staff and the music was wack.
