The occasional street roosters will welcome you as you order a fresh "Batido" smoothie. Here you can mix and match an array of fruits and veggies or just tell one of the brothers who run the spot what you're in the mood for and they'll whip up a custom batch just for you. From the bar, a star beverage is the "Green Juice", which is made with real sugarcane. The cash only destination also has great food to enjoy, including the tamale, a mini Cuban Sandwich and the homemade tuna. Top off your meal with a Café Cubano made by the lady of the house for an authentic, grandma flare. "Los Pinarenos is a Calle Ocho institution, and a classic Cuban-style fruit stand specializing in Caribbean produce, including many fruits and vegetables grown by the owners. Los Pinarenos is also the place to grab some of the freshest juices in Little Havana (just know that it’s cash only). Despite the fact that every restaurant in Little Havana has one of those giant orange squeezing machines, Los Pinarenos’ freshly squeezed orange juice is the best. However, don’t leave without getting the guarapo. The sugar cane is pressed to order, and if you think sugar cane juice is just sugar water, think again.
