Excellent bar we went in to listen to Callum Kerr a Scottish Country singer. The lady seeing was excellent serving everyone in turn quite quickly. There is bar seating and a couple of tables I believe there is also seating upstairs but didn’t go up.

Cheyanne Anderson

Google
Loved the atmosphere and live music! Drinks are easy to get and order if you can get past the people crowding the bar, but still a great experience.

Ben Snoep

Google
Worst bar I’ve been to. Bouncer did not let my friend in on her 22nd birthday because he believed her ID was fake. We called police and spoke to his manager. Both trusted him with his (brainless) decision to do what he wanted. He chose to decline my friend. She proved all necessary secondary documents and still refused her. He responded to all kind questions negatively and had zero respect for us as customers. Most definitely will not be returning and I suggest you do the same.

Google
This is your favorite local bar. If you want to hear a local artists, this is the place to be!

Google
cute little bar with THC 9 options and an outdoor area , got a cute sweatshirt and the bartender was so nice and sweet!

If you are looking for a laid back spot off of Broadway then head to Losers. The frozen margaritas were great. Four of us split the nachos, southwest egg rolls, and the steak bites. It was a great destination.

Google
Took a long time to get service. It was not busy on Sunday night. Allyson was very pleasant one we got service. Food took for ever and came only 2 ppl at a time. Was 6 of us. We were long finished before the rest of our party got food. Food was cold. Drinks are a ridiculous price. 2 rum and coke $24. USD. Stayed for some more music but pricing drove us away.

Google
We had a wonderful time at Losers. The music was fantastic, the drinks were strong and delicious, and the atmosphere was as good as it gets. I will long remember the fun we had there and will be going back the next time we visit Nashville.

Yelp
So there are two bars located next to each other Winners and Losers and this joint is the one for "Losers" but you can certainly go next door with the "Winners" whenever you're ready. During my visit they had live music with a cool band playing. They also have a nice patio you can also enjoy to have a change in ambiance. The bartenders all seemed to be very quick and efficient at taking care of customers and this was a nice joint even though it is for "Losers" or maybe "Winners" checking out the other side. Overall this is a fun spot and a nice live music venue.

Yelp
If you're looking to get away from the hokey-ness of Broadway and want an authentic Nashville music experience, this is your place. Open air seating with basic mixed drinks & beers, and two different stages/rooms for music. Have been twice and the talent the singers have is amazing.

Yelp
My first tim in Nashville. Here with a couple friends. China and the bar staff were great, even when it was busy and shoulder-to-shoulder at the bar. The music was great. Don't know the name of the band that was playing. The only negative of the night was Corbin/Corbyn. He dumped my bucket of beers when I wasn't finished and acted like it was my fault. He developed an attitude. Fortunately, China at the bar made it good, but Corbin/Corbyn was a dick. Great place except for the one guy.

Yelp
Ran into Post Malone here randomly on a Thursday night. Five stars just based on that, but also the bartenders and security were very pleasant to my husband and I. Saw some comments about security being rude, we did not experience that. Maybe because we didn't show up piss drunk and offend everyone but hey, that's just us. Would def return, even without Post Malone.

Yelp
My friend and I went to Bridgestone Arena Saturday night. Before we went in, we stopped at Losers Bar. We got 2 beers each and then realized we were going to be late for the show, so we didn't close our tabs. Stupid, I know!! My complaint is that the bar keeps charging my card. $148 for two beers!! I called yesterday to speak to the manager, and he rudely spit off all the charges. 2 Michelob Ultras(which were mine), 2 PBRs and some shots. The PBRs and shots were definitely not mine nor my friends. I looked at my account again this morning, and they have charged 248 more dollars!! When I spoke to the manager yesterday, he basically said there's nothing I can do about it. Typically, if you leave a tab open, they close it with a 20% tip. Not the case with the Losers at this place.

Yelp
After landing at BNA after midnight, the girls and I decided a drink was in order so we took to Yelp to find a spot walking distance to our Airbnb. Losers came up first, so off we went! Let's just say it's your average bar but makes for one hell of a good time! ++ No cover ++ Cheap(ish) drinks ++ Friendly staff ++ LIVE music always! ++ Fun vibes and room to dance ++ Indoor and outdoor space It didn't take much to make us happy and Losers did just that!

Sarah S.

Yelp
"Manager" kicked a friend out after he was grabbing another girl in our group. Friend told him to leave her alone and he said "I will kick you out." Sure enough, the bouncers kicked us out. Disgusting! The manager was trying to grab on a younger woman that was not interested in him..... then had the audacity to get the bouncers to make us leave! The only thing that happened was our friend saying "don't touch my friend!" Ridiculous that she was escorted out because of that. The manager should've been reprimanded! Overall disgusting behavior... sad bc we used to love this bar.

Christina B.

Yelp
Maybe you should let people sit at the bar, even if you aren't a regular. How rude. 2 drinks were $24 at a dive bar.
google avatar

David R.

Yelp
Super casual. Good basic food. Great music. Outside of the crazy lower Broadway scene, which I appreciated, but has a similar vibe (they also have a bar down there as well).
google avatar

Peter G.

Yelp
Kinda dirty. Greasy food. Definitely a dive, go there if your goal is to get drunk only

Andrea B.

Yelp
Bartenders are super rude and not friendly. Great music, terrible service. Super unfortunate. Management should really get this under control and it could be a great place
google avatar

R T.

Yelp
Wild I walked into this bar and there was A one armed midget vacuum cleaner salesmen. An asian lesbian that paints toilets on grains of rice and an obese eskimo prostitute with a single tooth. It was like a set up to a walked into a bar joke but this was no joke! It was reality man. Surreal!
google avatar

Kodi T.

Yelp
They only have bottled beer on property, which was kind of a bummer to pay $6 for a Corona they opened. We went on a random afternoon so it wasn't too packed, but I've heard it can get crazy. There was live music, a guitar duo who was there for several hours. They were taking requests and set the vibe.
google avatar

Christina B.

Yelp
Stopped in on a midtown bar crawl, and it's definitely the least welcoming bar in this area of the city. There aren't a ton of seating options, the bartenders aren't friendly, it isn't cute inside, and the vibe can only be described as bad. With so many other options in the city, there's just no reason to go here
google avatar

Hannah P.

Yelp
Not our favorite spot due to the lack of seating, subpar drinks, and below average atmosphere. I'd describe it as off the beaten path. I've been in the afternoon and in the late evening (both on weekends) and both times it wasn't too crowded. It's a good place if you want "Broadway vibes" without actually being on Broadway. They have an alcoholic juice box. This was a fun thing to try, and it was very sweet and sugary, as expected. They also have serve-it-yourself popcorn machine, which was yummy.
google avatar

Heywood M.

Yelp
Great joint. Simply GREAT. Reason alone for going in would be all these one-star-review Kens and Karens who feel like because the bouncers don't swoop to kiss their asses this place somehow doesn't deserve their presence. Hey Trixie, Biff:: there's a shithole called Kid Rock's where you'll fit right in. Go there. This place: great music. Fast bartenders. Strong drinks. A great place to go. ,

Yelp
call big, black beard gave me the best service ever, the best ride of my life as a patron. I don't know if I'll ever look a woman in the eye the same as I have this man, god bless you, mysterious warrior.

Maddie V.

Yelp
Absolutely horrible service and rude bouncers. Yall have gone very down hill. Please reconsider the bouncers you have as they were discriminatory and rude for no reason. We just wanted to check out the next door bar which had an open sign and were yelled at...
google avatar

Jeanie N.

Yelp
Great place for live music and decently priced drinks that's off the main downtown area so it's more chill. Probs my #1 music recommendation for anyone visiting, especially if the honky tonk mania isn't what you're seeking
google avatar

Neal W.

Yelp
Nice venues, nothing fancy but a lot of open air with cover. Live music drove the rating. Limited drink menu.,. Your basic beers and alcohol selection.., no fancy drinks here. Even an old fashion is out of the question

Kaylee B.

Yelp
Tonight my husband and I tried getting in through the back entrance, we don't go out much and when we used to go out we could go through the side street to walk up through the entrance. When we were approached that we cannot go in through the back anymore we waved to a friend who we could see in the bar and turned around and went to the front. When we went to the front we were told we weren't allowed in because "we caused problems". We simply didn't know. We were both sober and it's our first time out in a year. The bouncers talked to us and agreed they didn't know why we were told we weren't allowed in. It's a shame because a lot of our friends play here and we used to come here a lot and now we won't be coming back. I've never been more disrespected than by the bouncers who were in the back parking lot in your establishment.

Yelp
We typically stay downtown and always hangout on Broadway, but we decided to stay in midtown this time. Losers Bar was a block from our hotel so that's where we went right after checking in to our hotel. We arrived around (late) lunchtime so we went in to grab a bite to eat. It was pretty empty so we were served immediately. My husband got the catfish meal and I got the Nashville hot chicken tenders meal. Both were excellent. After finishing our meal we walked into the side bar where they had live music. There was a good crowd in there so we hung out for a while. We ended up chatting with some people and we all went to the main bar area where the house band was playing. They were EXCELLENT and the crowd was crazy! It was like being down on Broadway. Despite the packed crowd the bartenders were really quick to refill drinks. We were having such a great time that we stayed all night! We would absolutely come back again!

Yelp
Small bar with live music. Wasn't crowded like the big name places. Mixed drinks are very expensive and come in a small plastic cup. It was $39 for three of us to each get a small mixed drink but I guess that's to be expected in downtown Nashville. The bartender was friendly.

Wyatt T.

Yelp
This is one of the perfect places to go away from the name, restaurants where they all take care of you.peyton was an amazing bartender who made her time so much fun. We got to laugh joke, and she actually interacted with her customers, which is rare for Nashville. Most bartenders are strictly let me take your money and walk away. She was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area, we only had an appetizer, but it was very good. They have a rooftop bar and they do not charge the namebrand bars charge.

Mark B.

Yelp
Bouncers there are extremely rude and have a chip on their shoulder. We were 25 adults there celebrating our friends 40th and got kicked out for opening a window when it was 150 freaking degrees in there. They refused to let us close out tabs and treated us like we just had a massive bar fight. All we did was raised the window 2" to get air circulating. Stay clear from these jerks

Yelp
I'm a Jacksonville Jaguars fan so it's only right I went into this bar, instead of Winner's. The truth however is that Winner's was empty compared to this bar, and did not have a live band. So our group decided to come here instead. This place packed quickly, for a Sunday night. I'm guessing it's mostly locals. Bartenders were slow with the drinks. Winner's ended up closing up instead and this place got even busier.

Yelp
Losers is a great option for those who may feel suffocated by any of the bars a block away on the main Broadway strip. It's still touristy and can get crowded, but not as much so in either department. I like to think of it as "Broadway light." We walked in after the crowd became too much a block away and my friend is a local so he recommended it. It's a smaller bar that often features great music on the right night and, like almost any bar around here, prides itself on having multiple levels (at least three, I believe). I was ignored for a long while at the upper bar while the bartender catered to a pretty gal and despite it being a slow night, even for a Saturday. My drink was overpriced for what I got. The guitarist was very talented on the top floor and brought all the hits plus some old school country. I liked the upper deck because it was a chiller environment. All in all a solid option and not a loser by any means!
google avatar

Mark W.

Yelp
Average honky-tonk bar. Did have a live band both nights that was pretty good. Most beer as about $6 a bottle and mixed drinks were $11, which in my opinion was a little over priced for size. Whiskey Jam is located beside here and has the same owners. Like I said average bar
google avatar

James B.

Yelp
Staff here are terrible. There seems to be no real system of checking IDs. The two guys up front just decide if your ID looks real or not. My Tennessee ID was "not good enough" for this place but my Military ID was. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone if it was the last bar open in Nashville.

Will S.

Yelp
My pregnant friend attempted to pay for the group and the bartender called the cops on her because the $100 bill she paid with was a fake (unbeknownst to her). It was a 100 she got from a hotel. Instead of asking her to resolve the issue, the bartender called the cops and didnt even ask for an explanation.

Yelp
Worst bar experience ever. Four of us near 70 went here for drinks, food and good times. We ordered a round of drinks and some nachos while waiting for two other couples. I was just ordering another round of drinks when the bars manager I assumed said we had to leave, we ask why and they said because we were not tipping. I have never in my 69 years ever tipped before I'm finished. I normally tip 20 to 25 %. But not after every drink. We had been to dozens of bars in Nashville and were treated above average we had very pleasant experiences on Nashville, but not this place. We came to Nashville to see Kenny Chesney, we bought tickets 3 years ago and finally made it. This was our worst experience in Nashville. Not to mention my Vet friend was enjoying the Memorial Day weekend. Is this the way you treat your Vets. Shame on you Loser's Stay away from this place go some where that treats you nice
google avatar

David L.

Yelp
This was one of my first stops on my solo pub crawl and was semi offended when I saw my one well cocktail at 3 in the afternoon on a Wednesday cost about $12. By far the most expensive drink in the area. It was my first and last drink at Losers. At least the bartender and bouncer were cool.

Brady D.

Yelp
10/15/23 at losers, my group of four people were denied entry without explanation ~01:15 CST. Numerous people were coming and going however our entry was denied due to "capacity". Our group was discriminated against, and no valid reason for denial was given. Took photo and video of bouncer to show manager, bouncer followed my group to Dogwood and threatened us for alleged photo/video. Bouncer discriminated against women in group by saying he would not talk to women about the issue. Once manager shower up (intoxicated with a beer in hand), he claimed that my group was racially profiling against bouncer even though reason for denial is still unknown. For reference, we had been in Winners for a football game two hours prior with no issues, great staff and service. This bouncer abused power for no reason to a group of friends who wanted to listen to live music.
google avatar

Makenzie F.

Yelp
The music was mediocre at best. I've been here twice and the live band just wasn't my cup of tea. This seems like a place more suited for older adults like 40+. They do have the cool alcoholic pouch things to drink and those are fun! Two bars spread out, so waiting for a drink isn't really a issue here. They also have an upstairs (I personally didn't meander that way, but it's another option)

Hannah Z.

Yelp
Jordan the bartender was SO NICE! A worker, with a bald head and black beard, was unnecessarily rude to me. I went over to a graffiti covered area and simply tried to lift it. The sign said no leaning, no standing, and no setting personal items. It did not say no lifting. He immediately clapped at me and asked what I was doing and said that what the sign was for. It was about 1am, so I understand, but I was not being a nuisance as some people could be lol. Overall, unnecessarily rude for him!

Yelp
Fun dive bar with live music and weed brownies. We are from California so the Nashville weed hit a little different. We went back the next day and got more!

The B.

Yelp
It's fun. And not down by all the chaos. I used not live in Nash and this was out go to. Bumped into some really nice people & made friends. ;)

Morgan B.

Yelp
Bouncers are incredibly rude to paying customers for no reason. Completely unprovoked. He said and I quote "don't get sassy with me I'll give it right back"

Matthew B.

Yelp
Hands down the best local bar in midtown. Staff is friendly and exactly what you look for in a dive bar. The type of place friends get together to have some drinks, meet new people and enjoy live music! No complaints!
google avatar

Rachel H.

Yelp
If you don't like going out downtown but you have guests that really want to, this is a nice compromise. It wasn't too crowded inside and the live music was decent. A friend had recommended it to me and I'm glad she did. We were able to get seats at the bar and meet a few nice people. It was a little bit more quiet than the place is on Broadway which I appreciated. I drink seltzer water so I can't really recommend any drinks at this time.

Sean H.

Yelp
do not go here. went once and had a bad service experience. Nashville is a beautiful place with a lot of nightlife, there's no need to spend time here.
google avatar

Dani N.

Yelp
I don't know why this bar gets such a bad rep! I thought it was so fun and I was completely sober. Then again that means I didn't order any drinks so maybe it has to do with the quality or prices of the drinks? But they have a free popcorn machine and ice cold water so I was happy! A group of friends and I came to Losers after attending Whiskey Jam (an awesome event with a variety of live music from all genres) at the Winners bar next door. While I definitely enjoyed hearing the live music and dancing in support for the small, local bands I actually enjoyed my overall experience at Losers more because of it's less crowded environment, more options for seating, and nice cool breeze. The bar was a perfect amount of crowded with the funniest, most kind drunk people I've met. There was a band playing live and they were actually pretty darn horrible but as the night went on they got better and played songs that were more in their league. Nonetheless, people were two stepping and dancing other funky jigs all night. It was definitely a blast! My favorite part about this bar was the double deck outdoor seating. It was so nice out, the chairs were cozy, the TVs had live sports games playing, and the drink bar was never too packed to order at. I also really liked the Losers Bar & Grill apparel section but didn't have the bucks to purchase anything. Maybe next time.. and there will be a next time!
google avatar

Sarah P.

Yelp
What a quirky spot this is! I loved the vibe of this place, very energetic! It's also great for that indoor-outdoor scene. My favorite part has to be the spiked Capri-Sun's, how cool! I definitely did not feel like a Loser walking into this bar. It was so fun and everyone was dancing and having a good time. I love the Winners/Loser's idea. A fun time. 4.4/5
google avatar

Kelsey P.

Yelp
I am going to name all the good things about this bar and then explain why I gave it 1 star. The rooftop is nice. The live music was really good. That's where the good things stop. My husband and I ordered 1 drink each. I ordered a vodka cranberry & he ordered a double crown and sprite. The drinks were fine, which is what I expected. We were just dying from the heat/humidity and decided to leave. He went to the bar to tab out and it was $29. He doubled checked if it was right and the bitchy blonde said "Welcome to Nashville." The drinks aren't even that expensive in Vegas. There is no reason a double should cost $17 and a single $10. Also, everyone is calling this place a dive bar. This is not a dive bar at all. Not even close. This is a "nice" touristy bar with a nice roof top and lights. There's nothing divey about this bar at all. I love dive bars, and I was sorta disappointed that this wasn't one. Honestly, I was wholly disappointed with our entire experience. I would 100% not recommend this bar to anyone under any circumstance.

Jordan S.

Yelp
I was turned away from here for being a man in a tank top in the middle of July. The way that the bouncer treated us is absolutely a fireable offense, a man with a long beard and no hair, said to way too close to our face after asking why the policy existed, "did I F-ing stuffer, hasta luego." That will be the last dollar ever I spend at this sticky, dilapidated and not in any way classy or with it bar and their homophobic policies and bouncers. Go to dogwood, tin roof, or kung fu before you consider approaching this place, Nashville is an amazing place full of fun bars and this is not one of them. Fire the man who had to be taken away from the front for getting so upset about a man having his shoulders exposed and invest in some new stairs that don't break when people climb them and I'll reconsider my absolute boycott of this place.
google avatar

MJ L.

Yelp
Losers was one of our first pit stops in Nashville. We ordered a couple drinks, sat outside under the fans, and listened to an awesome singer.

Jillian J.

Yelp
Just got denied with a real ID. Thats pretty unprofessional, hire bounders that know what they are doing. Lost my business for good.
google avatar

Ezra C.

Yelp
I almost didn't go to this bar because of all the reviews saying the bouncers were assholes. But I ended up down the street and went. And I'm glad I did. Went on a MONDAY and the place was packed and the band was killer. And I met half a dozen bouncers and they were all cool as heck. Will definitely be back any time I'm in Nashville.

Brynden F.

Yelp
A bouncer here just assaulted my friend. Beware the security out front. This is not acceptable. Was not even trying to enter the bar and a comment was made so my friend spoke up. Seconds later a bouncer shoved him to the ground on the sidewalk outside of the bar as he tried to walk away.
