Lou Lou's operates by reservation only for live jazz performances, so if you're into jazz, this is the place to go. Although most of the crowd was for measurement people, I saw a mix of young and diverse ages. The decor is extravagant, with very small tables, likely seating just two people—though they might have larger tables in the middle section. The venue has some blind spots caused by pillars, so this is something to consider when making a reservation. Our original table was blocked by one, but when we asked the server to switch, she said only if someone canceled. Luckily, someone did cancel, allowing us to move elsewhere. There’s no space to dance, and no dance floor, the music can be a little too laud, making it difficult to hear your partner, but not too bad. However, the music was nice, and the place is very glamorous. They don’t offer food or snacks, which was a downside—some small options would be nice. The drinks were okay, and the service was good. Since it’s in a street park, plan your visit during off-peak times to find parking nearby. Overall, it’s a worthwhile experience to try.
