The 15 Best Restaurants In Nassau, Bahamas 2024

"This family-owned coffeehouse and restaurant gives you a peek into what the French Quarter would feel like if it sat cozily in the Caribbean. Louis and Steen’s is the first specialty coffeehouse in The Bahamas and does New Orleans dishes with recipes that have been passed down through generations. The best thing here is the Caribbean Creole bowl with Louisiana red beans and rice, andouille sausage, plantains, stir-fried vegetables, and blackened shrimp. Head here for breakfast, brunch, or lunch—they even have a French Quarter-themed market if you want to pick up goods for later." - ashleigh sean rolle

Great Cafe restaurant. The gentleman who served us was very patient and talked us through the menu. We ordered the po' boys on recommendation - one sausage po' boy and one Philly cheese steak. Seasoning and flavour was perfect. Absolutely delicious complimented with sweet potato fries coated with Cajun spices. We also tried an ice tea and ice latte. Both super delicious!!! A nice change after the Meat and rice heavy cuisine here in Nassau. Would definitely visit again.

The menu is great with plenty of tasty options. I especially enjoyed the apple tuna walnut & feta salad along with the Cajun blackened chicken Alfredo pasta. The lemonade was also a treat, and the atmosphere made the experience even better.

The food was great. The portions for the cost were generous and the service was professional and friendly. I loved the French Cafe atmosphere combined with the relaxing jazz music. Definitely somewhere to come for great food and to relax or simply treat yourself.

Every time I am in Nassau, this is a "must-do" for me. The atmosphere, food, staff and owners are so wonderful and hospitable. It's a great place to grab food and work on your laptop. The shrimp and grits are my favorate, but everything on the menu is great! Love it here and look forward to visiting it again. Thank you for bringing this gem to the Bahamas!

The chairs inside are a great addition. The boiled egg was done with perfection. I was very pleased with the french toast. It was not too mostra and neither was it not too dry. There are no sockets near the seating áreas for guests though. Please add this amenity.
