"As the jewelry extension of the East Village tattoo parlor, New York Adorned, you might expect that the jewelry here would be of the skull and crossbones variety. But it's actually gorgeous, and for the most part, dainty: There are sapphire studded earrings from UK-based designer Polly Wales, tourmaline slab necklaces by Lola Brooks, and diamond rings in the shape of mini-crescents by Anna Sheffield. They also have an excellent—and unexpected—range of home goods and gifts. There's a new outpost in Los Angeles, and a great shop in the Hamptons."

So many gorgeous things in this store! They sell more than jewelry. Seems like a good place to get a gift for someone! I really enjoyed the decor, perfume and candle selection, and the variety of jewelry they offer!

Google
Love this place. Even though it's my wife's favorite store (meaning it can cost me). Designers represented are very innovative, creative, and high quality. They charge what that's worth, IMO. Inside, the store is a mix of old and new. Contemporary pieces for the most part, but displayed in mostly antique showcases. GUYS . . . they have sofas! Sit and look at the many picture and coffee table books they sell. They have some great ones! Dried flower arrangements at the doorway are a super touch, along with the sofas. Gives it a pretty homey feel. The staff knows what they're doing, they're helpful, always friendly. I like the merchandise and pricing on iPad. You can see everything at a glance + other offerings a given designer might not have on display. Always work stopping in for a look

Google
This is a cool shop, it has a piercing shop as well, but it has so many jewelry, and so many options. Although nowhere is shown prices, so might be pretty expensive. The staff is friendly and helping, and we got here on a Sunday, but was not busy and no waiting line or anything. The shop is decorated in a house style, which makes the atmosphere so calm and relaxed for shopping. A real nice place to visit!

Google
So many beautiful and unique pieces. Ceramics, stone, dried botanicals, whimsy, and of course, jewelry. Loved it!

Google
Really enjoyed this jewelry, gifts, and accessories store. Employees were very kind and helpful. They have an eclectic selection of jewelry, with pieces for a wide range of styles and prices

Vitruvian Vision (Anima)

Google
Overhyped and overpriced, and frankly, incredibly boring, hipster style store. I was gone in 5 minutes, and quite disappointed. The name is lovely, though.

Google
Great selection of interesting jewelry, I bought my wife’s engagement ring here. Kind and helpful staff, specifically Georgio who helped me with the whole process from picking the right ring to sending it out for resizing. Definitely a store worth looking into if you’re searching for a nice and unique piece.

Google
The shop may seem intimidating -- a really trendy interior with everything from dried flowers to interesting home goods to unique jewelry (and the fact that prices for most items need to be inquired over) but I really love this shop! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The earring I bought was a beautiful silver crescent moon for a reasonable price, plus the packaging is super cute. Also, I received help with a problematic piercing (didn't get the piercing here.) The piercer (I forget their name!) was super knowledgeable and very kind to me since I was a bit anxious. I recommend this place to anyone that is looking for something a bit out of the ordinary from a normal piercing shop!

Yelp
The best store in town. Hands down. Best staff. Best jewelry. Everyone is helpful and incredible.

Yelp
I went to this store because I had been a regular customer of Adorned jewelry when it was still a part of the tattoo salon (I was also a tattoo customer). This was my first visit to the stand-alone store. It's a very pretty store with lovely things. I was prepared to spend a significant amount of money on an anniversary gift for my partner and that's why I went there. Why did I leave empty handed? 1. Nothing is priced and asking a price results in an inattentive sales woman looking it up on a tablet which takes a long time, that is, if you can get her attention (I was the only customer in the store when I walked in). 2. When I first asked a price I was told in a way that assumed I couldn't afford it they everything in that case was at least $2,000. 3. Attitude. I'm a middle-aged, successful person. No need for 20-something sales women to act superior. I treat them with respect and expect the same in return. 4. When someone finally asked if I needed help (a person somewhat interested in at least playing the role of a salesperson) she seemed to want to help but not to really know what was in stock or what pieces were made of or any ballpark prices. She also seemed not really knowledgable about jewelry in general. She looked up one material/price for me and it took 5-10 minutes to find it. 5. Due to lack of service I couldn't even come close to selecting something. I realized they were going to close soon so I asked what time they were closing. I was BARKED AT like a person who was loitering, "In TWO MINUTES WE'RE CLOSING." I crassly said I was planing to spend a significant amount of money, but I guess that wasn't very interesting to this store! An even slightly ambitious person would happily have said to take a little time and offered help. They were like, Buh-bye! I'll look at their website and contact the designers directly.

Yelp
I do not typically write negative reviews. I cannot think of one and usually review when the experience has been positive. However, in this case I have no choice. I contacted loveadorned.com at first several months ago and had a phone conversation with an employee, followed by multiple emails over the next few months. I saw a Todd Pownell (designer) pendant which I admired and was given several choices not in stock in the color gold I preferred. The pendant was expensive and I am on a fixed income. So I was told about a good birthday discount (November) that I could wait for. In November, I asked many questions of the same employee, the most important of which was whether the size would be too small. I was assured that the pendant "was a great size". I trusted her judgement and went ahead with the order. I was told clearly that the pendant would be non refundable since it was a special order and would be coming from the designer. The pendant ended up being so small that I had to put on my readers to see it. The diamond looked like a dull gray piece of glass or plastic. I took it to a reputable jeweler who confirmed that it was a salt and pepper kite shaped diamond but totally agreed that it was tiny and not much to look at. I expressed my disappointment and was hoping that I could return it, perhaps with a large restocking fee. However, there were no such offers, just an expression of sadness that I was not happy with it. I will never wear this and may have to try to cash it in for the gold. However, it is so very small that I will not recoup much. I take responsibility that I knew the term non refundable but remain completely disappointed and dissatified.

Yelp
I have bought several one of a kind pieces at Love Adorned. Yes, they are not cheap but jewelry is like art to me and it's really what you're willing to pay for it. I have been treated very kindly in the Santa Monica location (when it was open) by most all the staff (thank you Becka) so really no complaints there. I'd like to take this YELP opportunity to shout out to the woman who purchased the GOLD MERMAID CHARM WITH AQUAMARINE IN HER HANDS...if you ever want to sell it, let me know. It has a special meaning for me and I should have grabbed it when I had the chance. Sheila (sheilabmtv@yahoo.com)

Yelp
Had a great experience with Becky. I know jewelry and she was completely knowledgeable about everything in store. We came in about 15 min before closing and they accommodated us, didn't rush us and helped us navigate what we were looking for. I bought two GORGEOUS pieces I'm so happy with. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Had an amazing experience! My husband and I bought our weddings bands here a little while ago, and the entire process was fantastic. Felicity was incredibly helpful with letting us know about the different options available, communicating timelines, and helping us pick rings which made sense based on our preferences and lifestyle. The experience was so positive that I went back again recently to purchase another custom ring (which was made very quickly and is absolutely stunning!). Overall, great service and beautiful pieces - I highly recommend.

Yelp
As much as I'd like to keep Sydney to myself, I'd be doing her a disservice if I didn't say she's the best in the piercing business. She's comforting, helpful, and extremely friendly. I've been pierced 9+ times and I can say I've never gotten such care before her. Even though I went in for just two piercings, she took the time to map out on my ear future pieces to add so I know what's possible to get on my body. She explained step-by-step what she's doing and when she'll actually pierce you--not some surprise pain like you get with other piercers. I can't recommend her enough, will definitely be going back for more once my new piercings heal!

Yelp
So I go to the Elizabeth St. location pretty regularly. It's lovely to check in and see what's going on. I like that you can walk around and look at the lovely things they sell. Their jewelry alone is so vast and varied that it takes a bit of time to check everything out. It's true about the service. They could be more helpful and check-in once. You can't really tell how knowledgeable or approachable they are if they just always stay behind the counter to themselves chatting. I will say, I know people complain about that here but maybe I'm used to it that it doesn't bother me anymore? The website is more helpful in information than they are anyways. They use a tablet to look up everything you inquire about so maybe if you have something in mind, it's better to shop online instead? The Amagansett location is worse though. Not only do they stay behind the counter, but I've also seen the girls help the regulars (who I assume spend $$$), will entertain them with conversation, and let them try on whatever they want, etc. The people who are new, wandering in leave still curious about things but didn't want to ask anyone from lack of welcoming approach. I get it. I'm used to it though. I actually just inquire who the designers are and then buy directly from the makers instead. At most, I can thank the store for introducing me to the product.

Yelp
recently went on the 4th, my friend was getting a piercing done and upon entering i thought id buy a few small things. its my second time in nyc, i did not expect to get racially profiled on my first day back in the city. i was given the side eye multiple times, stared down, glared at and spoken to in very rude and condescending tones. i know for a fact i was treated this way because of my race. i was ready to buy two books and a watercolor palette, (each 2x their normal price), when i noticed i was being followed around by a sales associate. the store isnt very big to begin with, they werent even trying to hide the fact that they were following me. i slowly kept circling around and set down everything i had grabbed, the only thing i decided to buy was a face mask. by this time my friend was done with their piercing, i let them know what was going on and they were appalled. i was charged 5.44$ for my mask, while she was charged 5$ flat. it was such a blatant display of racism, im so bothered by the fact i was treated this way. reading many other reviews, its very obvious that this behavior from sales associates isnt addressed by management which is a shame. in one of the most diverse places in this world, youd think sales associates would treat everyone equally and with respect. its very clear what demographic this store plays for: rich and white. my experience was beyond off putting. ill be sharing my experience with as many people as i can, seriously how can you operate in such a diverse place and allow your employees to be so blatantly discriminatory and just plainly put, racist. beyond disappointed. do not give this place your business

Yelp
Interesting to read. I have found this store pretty much the same as many people. What used to pass for interesting seems now elitist and snobby. Not even in the old NY way but seeming almost as if everyone isn't special enough to by a Kapital scarf it seems a little like it is run by BFA dance majors @bard and you just are too stupid or brutish to buy anything there. That attitude is so dated. But that's ok. When the store closes they can become artisanal baristas at a small shade brown coffee shop that none of us can go into because we carry to much toxicity and don't have enough to ink our parents paid for.

Yelp
I went here this past weekend with a few friends. One of my friends got her nose pierced by Cassi and my other friend and I both got some lower lobe piercings by Keylan. Both piercers were amazing! They did an excellent job and made the whole process quick and painless. What an incredible dream team! Have to also give a shout out to Julie who was doing an incredible job multitasking the bookings, signing the piercing forms, and helping with the jewelry. She brought an awesome chill vibe to what can be a bit of a nervous experience (poking holes in your body). I also picked up a pair of Sarah Appleton pull through earrings (shown in pictures). The associate was extremely helpful showing me different earrings and helping with recommendations that were within my price range. The jewelry here is on the expensive side yet they go after quality, no cheap materials here. The designers and the styles they offer are incredible. I will forever go back here and highly recommend this place to friends and all of you looking for an incredible piercing experience.

Yelp
Amazing experience in every way. I always come here to buy dried flowers and jewelry, but this time I came to get piercings done! The staff is incredibly nice and caring. The piercing was surprisingly quick and now 24 hours later barely sore or bothersome. Additionally they had really cute stud options for your new piercings!

Yelp
Love Adorned has been my go-to for years now. Gifts for others and often for myself as well -- I always know I'm going to find something I love. Their selection is stunning and versatile, I just love walking around and browsing. The staff has always been nothing but helpful and knowledgeable especially with custom orders. Even online, I've had a great experience, with the quickest shipping, I couldn't believe. I've visited all of their locations from Amagansett to NYC to the previous Santa Monica spot and found all to be equally beautiful and welcoming. I also had nose and several ear piercings done here and everything was always clean with amazing dainty gold jewelry with flat backs which make them SO much more comfortable. Highly recommend for all the things!!

Lydia H.

Yelp
Really cute store, the sales girl was super helpful and spent a long time helping me find the perfect gift for my mom within my budget.

Yelp
I've had two piercings done by Taylor Bell, the tragus and daith. She looks at the location where you want to get pierced and helps determine whether the jewelry you selected is appropriate. Every step of the way, Taylor informs you of expectations. I have never had a more gentle piercer and felt little to no pain with each piercing done by her. The jewelry is gorgeous as well. I highly recommend both Taylor and Love Adorned for the lovely environment that doesn't feel like most piercing places. It's an elegant studio within an elegant store.

Yelp
I was overwhelmed by the hospitality, professionalism, and beauty of this shop. Let me start with the hospitality. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a friendly gentleman, who later introduced himself as Giorgio (I'm sorry if I spelled your name wrong!). He asked if he could help me, and I stated that I had a piercing appointment, and he kindly directed me to the lady at the computer. She was helping someone else at the moment, but she promptly acknowledged me, and told me she would be right with me. While I was waiting, Giorgio offered me something to drink (he even later offered me some Rosé!), and came back with a Perrier. I was so parched! Professionalism. I came with some jewelry I hoped to use for my new (and reopened) piercings and the lady at the computer and the person over the phone who made the appointment told me it would be at the discretion of the piercer, who had a better judgement for which jewelry is best suited for new piercings. Instead of just saying 'hey buy our jewelry', she explained to me exactly why my jewelry was not suitable for my new piercings, but even told me that they would be fine to use once my piercings were healed. Taylor was my piercer and she is such a perfectionist. She talked me through the process so effectively and made me feel so excited and relaxed! She is such a gem and I was thinking about getting other piercings. After finding her, I will definitely be back for more. She tells you exactly what she's doing and why she's doing it. And she even coaches you on breathing techniques to make your piercing less painful! She's amazing! Beauty. This is actually a legitimate jewelry shop. I wish I had more time to look around. And they have so much more than just jewelry. It looks like an enchanted space. Coupled with the music, it is truly an other worldly experience. I have been pierced at Adorned years ago at the other location and I had such a good experience that I decided to come back when they relocated here. And I'm so glad i did. You have an amazing space, and amazing people. Im so very glad I came in.

Alexandra B.

Yelp
I've been here a few times looking for jewelry / piercing options. Every time I've had to go out of my way to get someone to help me, and when they finally did they were rude and condescending! I have 11 piercings that I've gotten at various high-end places across the city...no one else acts like this! Better off at Iris in Williamsburg or Maria Tash or booking with J Colby Smith when he is in town. Once I asked if they could order a different piece of jewelry, and they made a big thing about having to contact the jeweler and how it would be a whole to-do. Like, do you not want my money? Won't be coming back.

Yelp
My friend and I stumbled into this neat, rustic and industrial (yes, at the same time!) store just a half an hour before it closed. We were mesmerized by all the pretty pieces of jewelry, decor, and bath supplies. Each product is designed very simply and beautifully. All the bath supplies smelled rich and unique. The back houses a tattoo and piercing salon, manned by guys wearing flannel. They seemed pretty chill but did not do any procedures after the half-hour-until-we-close mark. Bummer.

Olivia W.

Yelp
Ask to see a ring, and a salesperson made a comment about not making a sale to another salesperson in the front desk in front of me and my friend as we were exiting the store. I am a salesperson in the jewelry business, and I don't treat potential customers like their beneath me. Given these times, to be so petty and dismissive is unwelcoming and not show casing the store's potential objects that are beautiful made by unusual designers. Google the designers and buy from other sources if can.
google avatar

S R.

Yelp
Got my nostril pierced here. Was the second time I was piercing it due to the first one being rejected. They talked me through how I should take care of my piercing and make sure I bought high quality, completely biocompatible jewlery to prevent my body from rejecting the piercing again. It worked!
google avatar

Sarah S.

Yelp
I got my ear conch pierced by Taylor and she was terrific. I have been back several times for help with various issues and the staff is unfailingly helpful, friendly and professional. The jewelry selection is outstanding. Sometimes you have to wait a few minutes, but it is not a hardship as the store is so pleasant (it smells great, and there is a giant comfy couch for you to sit in).
google avatar

Elayna B.

Yelp
I love this store but the piercing part is what I am rating. There are way to many problems with my piercings and they dont disclaim a lot of the issues I came back for. I.E. the jewelry is not meant to be taken out - never was told this . The jewelry can be absorbed by the ear lobe depending on the elasticity- never was told this. Also they are not pierced with gold as advertised when I finally removed it was silver or steal which im allergic too ( hence the $300 stud I purchased). I feel like the leave out a lot of information which is unfair and unprofessional. The male piercer there is rude as well and makes it very unwelcoming when returning with so many issues. The employees of the store are wonderful though as is the receptionist for the piercing studio. Just not the actual piercer. DO NOT GET PIERCED HERE!! It is the absolute worst.

Eliza K.

Yelp
Their selection is beautiful and the staff is great! My fiance and I picked out my engagement ring here and the sales associate was so helpful. When I had to get the ring resized, they were very nice about it and made it so easy. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because while I was waiting for the ring to be resized, I had to call a few times to check in because I hadn't heard any updates. The staff was also fantastic when shopping for his wedding band and offered great suggestions. Definitely an awesome store to pop into! They carry really unique designers and a fantastic selection of products. THANK YOU again to the wonderful staff!

Yelp
I must say they have nice jewelry. But way too expensive!! They don't put prices on them. They get 4 stars for the Jewelry. They girl that does the fitting and Piercing. She is very nice. But will not be back ever..They gave me a range of how much maybe it might cost.I was shocked!!!

Yelp
I never write reviews, but after visiting Love Adorned today, I knew that a review was necessary. I heard about Love Adorned through a blog and I fell in love with their site. I found a beautiful pair of sapphire studs for $650. I am visiting NYC for the weekend and I was very excited to visit Love Adorned and purchase the earrings. Today, my friend and I walked into the store and all four of the salespeople did not say 'hello' or even acknowledge our presence. We walked around for maybe 5 minutes looking at their stunning jewelry and still no one said anything to us. I spotted the sapphire earrings in one of the cases. I stood by the case (which was located at the front of the store by the cash registers), waiting to see if any of the salespeople would ask if I needed help, etc. Two girls walked by me, looked at me, and kept walking. Am I wrong for being upset? I thought shoppers are supposed to feel welcomed when they go into a store. I've been working in high-end boutiques for over 6 years and never ever would my coworkers and I ignore our customers. If I could, I would give this review zero stars. I am extremely disappointed. I was planning on spending $650 for the earrings and $770 on a gorgeous turquoise ring. They just lost a $1,000+ sale. If you're ignoring me, then there is no way I am going to give you my money.

Lex L.

Yelp
Came in to see the very pretty preserved flowers. Had to leave pretty quickly because of a soft brained staff member who was burning a chunk of wood and wafting smoke around the store. This is a health hazard: this wasn't just some incense or sage or a bit of woodsmoke escaping from a fire place. Smoke inhalation kills people pretty quickly and is dangerous not only to asthmatics but to anyone with lungs. I don't think I've ever seen anything in a shop so blatantly stupid, and I'd just come from a place selling goop.
google avatar

Gabriella D.

Yelp
Really great selection of unique jewelry, albeit way out of my price range. I did walk out with a bangle that was small enough for my wrist for under $50. The staff isn't too eager to help. I am by no means a shopper that requires attention, but when I am lingering over a case for about 10 minutes that should be a clue to come on over and offer to show me something. They didn't even say hello when I walked in.

Yelp
A brunch time decision to get my nose pierced led me to yelping "best piercing spot in NYC" New York Adorned popped up and after all the reviews I read I was convinced this was the spot...No question. My traveling companion and I embarked on an adventure downtown to get my nose punctured. We showed up at NY Adorned and the nice gentlemen quickly informed us that while they do piercings there, the piercer was at there other store only a few blocks away at Love Adorned. The adventure continued. Upon arriving there I fell quickly in love, what can I say i'm a hopless romantic. Everything from the friendly staff that greeted us, to the beautiful jewelry that surrounded us I was immediately sold... Colbey was the guy who pierced my nose..What can I say other than I SWEAR he has magic hands...I didn't feel a thing...Nothing.. Not even a week later have I felt a shred of pain..He was awesome, funny, calming, and most importantly knew what he was doing.. He must have gone to the school of Piercing Wizardry.. I highly suggest this place for piercing or a cool piece of artisan jewelry.. Request Colbey the man with the magic hands!

Yelp
I went here a few months back as a friend of mine was featuring his jewelry here. Since I'm not a regular jewelry aficionado I thought I'd check it out. This place is truly gorgeous. If I were to design a jewelry store myself, this is what I would create. Since I'm less a fan of the in your face bling, and trendiest baubles, but more art pieces to wear, I really fell in love with this place. Wall-to-wall you will find nooks and crannies of beautiful things to wear. The sections of the store are arranged by different designers, so they seem to curate the best of the best, and keep carrying those that sell well. A good business model if you ask me. All that said, I've one reservation, and that is the lack of prices on items. I know I know, it is a brilliant way to sell jewelry, let them fall in love with an item first, and then price will be something you can find a way to afford. Granted. But this just irritates me, personally.

Yelp
They say that love waits. I've waited a few months to review Love Adorned...to give my septum time to heal. I can thank Colby, for his warmth, steady hand and professionalism. The carefully proportioned jewelry looks and feels like I've always worn it. This is not your typical skull and neon-spattered piercing shop. The space is a multi-fasceted tactile treat that delights all of the senses. As I waited for my appointment, I wandered the antique glass cabinets and reclaimed wood shelves of carefully curated home adornments, unique jewelry and useful objects. I walked away with a shiny new piercing, a canister of lulu's hair powder, and a heart filled with gratitude. Catch Colby in Vogue on-line this month!

Kristen B.

Yelp
I was in need of a pick-me-up and found a beautiful, simple gold band to wear on my index finger at this gorgeous shop. Adam was a joy to shop with, he found all my options and was kind and fun and very knowledgeable. If you're in search of unique fine jewelry this is the place. I'll be back!

Yelp
I had no idea this place was affiliated with New York Adorned, but it's funny that it is, because one of the reasons it caught my eye was that it reminded me of my piercing place, where I was actually on my way to get a pair of earrings as a gift. The store was HOT when I went in, as in no air conditioning, and I told myself I would only take a quick look and then leave. But instead the store practically sucked me in; I found that I simply had to look into every case and examine all the cool jewelry and home decor items. That's a good sign, right? Whoever buys for this store has a great eye, because I want everything they have in my house. My fantasy house, that is, in which my taste is a lot cooler than it really is. Hand painted porcelain skulls, masonic knick-knacks, vintage textiles from Africa, along with lots of handmade designer jewelry for a range of tastes from edgy to more subtle. They also have a good selection of more traditional gift items like soaps and other housewares, very well curated so they seem to go along with the look and feel of the more signature items. The prices fall in a wide range as well; if you're looking for handmade ceramic garland to wow your visitors, that will run you a few thousand, but you can find something cool on a tighter budget, too. Anything there would have made a great gift, but since I was shopping for my mom I decided on an Etsy-flavored stamped coffee spoon (the woman in front of me in line also got one). The fellow next to me had come in to browse and found that a scrimshawed money clip called out to him. "I never thought of myself as the kind of person who'd buy a money clip," he said, "but I guess it's up to me to bring them back." Meanwhile, if the Yelp rumors are true and Colby is piercing here sometimes, I can go ahead and recommend his services as well. I'm needle-phobic but I've seen him about 5 times and he's the best!

Yelp
A wonderful place to find unique gifts and jewelry. Well-edited assortment, presented very clearly. Bring your wallet's A-game

Yelp
I've never had a better experience in buying contemporary bespoke jewelry for my wife. Wonderful people, wonderful objects.

Yelp
One of a kind stuff , nice vibe . U will find unique gifts here . Loved the crystals , and the dried flowers. Also beautiful pottery . One of those stores u can get lost in every nook and cranny because of the good stuff :)

Anika S.

Yelp
Beautiful jewelry but horrible customer service. I just spent about 10 minutes in here looking at all the jewelry and was not acknowledged at all. Nobody said hello even though there were 3 sales associates (having a personal conversation, of course). Not coming back.

Oralia E.

Yelp
A few words to describe Love Adorned are mesmerizing, unique, beautiful, and curated. There are plenty of stores in NYC selling the same thing. With a little patience, you'll find a cheaper price for the same thing at the next shop. However, the things you find in LA, you won't find anywhere else. Every piece is one of a kind and of high quality. The store is stunning and that's an understatement. Simply walking around is an experience. If anything, I recommend doing that to get inspired. LA does a great job finding pieces that mix art with a more common product. You're not just going to see variations of the same thing. The last time I visited LA, Nicole and Emily were both so helpful. All the girls on the floor know all the product well. I've read a few reviews dissing the girls and that's actually why I wanted to write this. I had a great experience! Everyone was so helpful. There are so many pieces to look at and personally, I need my space to look at it all. When I walked in, I was greeted then allowed to just roam without anyone following me around. Whenever I needed help, I asked Nicole who was close by and she came over to help. She got a sense of what I was looking for and showed me her favorites along with the best sellers. I ended up going with the one she pointed out. Later on she also showed me a pair of earrings that I fell in love with. I walked out with earrings for myself and a gift for a friend-- both of which turned out to be great buys. To anyone second guessing going to Love Adorned, don't. Just go. Don't let a bad review from one upset person stop you from your own great experience.

Yelp
Here's the short story: This store is quite lovely - the design of the space itself is beautiful and the products are so unique and stunning. But, the staff is so unjustifiably unpleasant, which results in quite a disservice to the exceptional designers who showcase their talents here. Here's the longer story: A friend and I stopped in a few days ago to browse, and I inquired about a pair of earrings. I approached one of the sales associates and asked if I could try them on. She looked me up and down, and informed me of the price with an air of utter disgust that I thought was only portrayed in the movies. Seriously, I felt like Vivian from Pretty Woman on Rodeo Drive, before Bridget does the makeover! Now, the earrings were $600 for a little sliver of metal, and I probably wouldn't have purchased them. BUT, that doesn't mean I can't afford them ... and it's just a shame that I even have to justify that. In any event, I found the earrings online. She was giving me the price for the most expensive diamond/platinum pair. That wasn't even what I was interested in. I got the 14K gold studs online for a much more reasonable price. And, I didn't have to deal with a retail person's unbecoming - and undeserved - attitude. Note to the designer: If I were you, Selin Kent, I'd be disappointed that I almost lost a sale. But for my diligence online, I would have just moved along and snagged a similar pair from another designer whose product is presented by a sales associate who smiles.

Yelp
Colby was dope and answered all my questions about piercings honestly. I appreciated him putting me at ease, but i was so comfortable that the piercing hurt more than i expected! Lol. Good experience overall, i was a bit nervous at first, but will definitely go to him again for the next piercing! Base price for all piercings seems to be $30 plus price of jewelry.

Yelp
I love this store. They have the most beautiful jewelry you'll ever see, and lots of other quirky accessories and home decor items. Lots of people seem to have reviews that reference rude salespeople--that could not be further from my experience. I've been helped by several of their employees and they have only ever been kind and helpful. Special shout out to Victoria, who is in charge of their online store and is amazing. If you know of something that is in the store but not on the website, she will put a short-term listing online just for you to use. This is especially useful if, say, someone buys you an online gift card and you really want to use it on something that's only available in the store. Victoria tries to make dealing with their website as smooth as possible. 5 stars well earned!

Yelp
Sales staff acts as if you are not even there. So if you like being ignored, even when you bring something to the register to pay for it (like me), then this is the store for you. I also found out that I way over paid for my item - Santa Maria Novella potpourri (don't laugh - it smells like magic)! I was embarrassed to say anything after the saleswoman finally decided to ring me up. It cost $50 for a small bag. I was stunned & annoyed & but paid for it & left. I just found the same item on the Santa Maria website & it costs $35! I guess I shouldn't complain about overpaying by a mere $15, since their jewelry is ridiculously overpriced. With so many other places in the city to shop, don't waste your time here.

Yelp
I want my apartment to look like Love Adorned because its so beautiful. Over the years, I've purchased necklaces, a terrarium, nail polish, a vintage ring, and assorted knick knacks. They have beautiful things and the displays are gorgeous. The only gripe I have is that certain items have a much higher mark-up than other stores. Not a few dollars, but up to 20 percent more than other places. Once, I fell in love with a necklace there that was $500. The designer sold it for $435. I would buy even more at the store if their prices were more aligned with what others charged. It doesn't really stop me most of the time, but it's slightly annoying to know. You know?

Yelp
One of my favorite store in town. Special atmosphere, beautifully decorated, great selection of jewels, ceramics, bags, and various accessories.

Yelp
Four stars for the jewelry. Most of the pieces are quite special albeit way too expensive. But some unfortunately look like the cheaper versions sold everywhere else, even if they're made of gold. Had to take off 2 stars for the lack of service. I agree with the other reviewers. If the owner is reading this, please re-train your staff to be more customer focused unless you don't care about selling those beautiful pieces.

Yelp
Amazing and gorgeous selection of designers and vintage pieces.

Yelp
The store in Nolita itself is gorgeous as is all the jewelry that is in it. Problem is, I don't think they know what they are selling or they aren't being entirely honest. I fell in love with a ring that was described as "vintage." I asked the sales staff if they knew anything about the piece but they assured me that it was vintage. I payed a lot for the ring and when I got home, I noticed a marking on the back with a name. When I looked it up, I found out that the piece wasn't vintage and made by a contemporary designer. Not to mention, it was priced $100 cheaper online. I buy a lot of jewelry but won't every buy from them again. And if you find yourself in their store looking at beautiful jewelry with the "Nalwood" stamp, don't buy it. You'll do better online. Deception or worse, ignorance, is not a good sales strategy.
