Despite the busy environment, my bowl was still made to perfection. the portion sizes were enough to leave me full, and the food itself was rich and fresh. the complimentary mix ins were such a plus. would come again!!

I wanted the Fenway Special but they ran out so I ordered the California Dreamin’ and it was not bad! I would go back and try Fenway Special. Definitely not a meeting spot! It could get really crowded and the wait can be long. I ordered ahead of time, but had to wait when I got there!

Google
Super delicious hand-rolls!! It’s so hard to find good deals on sushi near downtown but Love Art offers 2 for $7 maki rolls everyday from 3-4 PM. That deal alone solidified me as a regular customer!

Google
Love everything about this spot! Great atmosphere, great portions and great staff! So kind and helped us out with ordering!

So fresh and fast during non peak hours! 2 maki rolls for $7 weekdays from 3-4pm is the best deal I’ve seen in boston for sushi!

Google
Good varsity if sushi and bowls. Interesting menu. We loved the flame seared bowl!! We ordered for bowls- Fenway special - this was quite good. A slightly sweeter side and a good taste. Volcano Spice - This was spicy just as the name suggested and just as we wanted it to be. We got the flame sear on this one which gave it a different and nice taste. Crispy Noodle Hack - this had a lot of the crispy noodles and taste was fine but I felt they could add a few vegetables to balance the crispiness. It felt like I was just eating crispy noodles all the time. A little extra sauce would’ve been good too. Makirittos - we got the Salmon and the Spicy Salmon rolls. They were ok. We would’ve liked if they were cut into smaller pieces as well. Would have been easier to eat. Ambience was decent. The thing that irked us was that after we placed the order and paid for it, we were told they would close in 20 mins. So we had only 20 mins to order anything else and finish our food. Had we known this earlier, we would probably not placed the order and visited the place again later.

Yelp
First off Wow, the service and friendliness is amazing I'd give them a solid 5 stars! The food was incredible the staff made me a rollercoaster of flavors dish. I wish I could have eaten there, but if I did, it would feel like I was at home, sleep right after eating. It's so cozy and aesthetically pleasing. The music was great, and everything was perfect after a double shift. This is the place I'd go to anytime! Thanks a lot 5 Big booms for the hospitality! Top 3 right amount of spice sweetness and love thanks for the experience!

Yelp
I was craving poke while I was in Boston and decided on Love Art Sushi out of the other surrounding poke restaurants, but I ended up very disappointed. I'm not sure if it was because they had just opened, but I would expect the rice to be made fresh daily, however, I felt like I was eating day-old stale rice. Even factoring in travel time after picking up my order, the rice on both the handrolls and poke bowl should not have been that hard. The proteins themselves did make up for the stale rice, I ordered shoyu tuna and spicy salmon for my poke bowl which were both delicious. There were not a lot of topping options, but the mandarins did add a nice sweetness. For my handrolls, I opted for the rainbow salmon and spicy tuna. Spicy tuna was good, but rainbow salmon was very plain and there was very little filling inside for $5+ per handroll. The price of the actual poke bowl was around $15 for a custom bowl, which is less than some other poke spots, but, you are getting what you are paying for, including how little protein you're getting. There is street parking, but I'm not sure how busy it is on weekdays. The restaurant itself looked spacious and clean, and there were cute decorations.

Yelp
Love Art Sushi is a great option if you're looking for a quick lunch downtown! Sometimes I get sick of the classic sandwich and salad options, and this is the perfect spot to spice it up. The quality of the fish and vegetables seemed standard to me, so no complaints. I took my bowl to go, since I had to get back to the office, but you could eat there if you wanted. Also a good spot to order from on one of the delivery apps in a pinch!

Yelp
I've been trying some of the lunch spots around my office in an effort to pump myself up to go into the office more. I do love a good poke bowl so decided to give Love Art Sushi a try, since it's within walking distance. I ordered the Green Machine with the spicy salmon add-on. I must have misread the description because I was expecting cubes of the white tofu maybe marinated in some sauce or grilled but instead got what looked like cut-up strips of inari. Tasty and well-seasoned, but I would've much preferred the firm chunks of tofu. The portion of spicy salmon was a little skimpy but I would've forgiven that if it tasted good - it was all right. The poke at Manoa in Somerville (sold by the pound or half-pound) has ruined conveyor belt poke. They do offer online ordering/pick-ups but when I went without putting in an order, I was the only one in line and got my food very quickly. My lunch was about $18 which is on the steep side.

Yelp
I used to love going to Love Art Sushi (at the time, I often went to the Back Bay location) when Poke was first introduced to the Boston area. Since then, many poke bowl places have opened and Love Art Sushi is not really that great anymore, compared to other spots around. The bowls aren't that big for the price and I find that they skimp on the fish here. I typically do get full off just half a poke bowl and when I last got a bowl from here, I found myself still hungry after. I don't think that their bowls are bad at all or lacking flavor, just wish portions were bigger. Staff is always pretty nice and helpful.

Yelp
It pains me to leave a negative review because my poké bowl from here was delicious and affordable, but... a few days ago, when I asked for a water cup and went over to the tap to fill it up, a mystery brown liquid poured out of the tap. I asked the employee at the counter if that was supposed to be water, and they said it wasn't - I asked what it was and they said "we don't use that for water," and the only water available was bottled. They didn't say that to me when I asked for the water cup, and there should have at least been an "out-of-order" or similar type sign on the tap so that no one would accidentally use it. They took back my gross cup and apologized but I ended up getting some of the brown liquid on my hand (which was probably sewage water or something) and I had to run to the bathroom to wash my hands multiple times and felt absolutely disgusted. Completely unsanitary. If you avoid that issue, the food here is great with lots of vegetarian options. Service was a little slow but not horrible.

Yelp
Love everything I've ever had here. The efficiency in their work on the line as absolutely insane. They're all so friendly and happy so I know they're treated well or at least I hope they are and they make everything wicked well. Always worth any wait and a top tier lunch. Inside has good seating with 7 two-top tables that are always clean. Also a very high quality chopstick. The makirittos are my absolute favorite I devour them a few times a week on my walk home. The bowls are also fire. I haven't gotten one of the special pre-designed ones but the custom ones I get are always great. Ingredients are fresh and flavorful.

Yelp
Came here during lunchtime rush on Wednesday around 12:20-30pm. The line seemed pretty long for the small area, wrapping around the restaurant but the staff did a good job of working through the line and I got my bowl in around 10 minutes. It was a little over 13 dollars for my volcano spice bowl and it would be around 9 dollars if you build your own bowl where each fish addon would cost a little bit. The volcano spice bowl was alright, but I feel like making my own bowl would have been tastier as my bowl felt a little too heavy on the vinegar from the ingredients.

Yelp
I don't love this place. In all of my visits it's been slow and unfriendly. The food is fine but not worth the prices. There are much better options in the area.

Yelp
This place is perfect for when you're in the mood for something light and fresh. Walked in for a late lunch and there was no wait. The person behind the counter greeted me right away. Being it my first time here, I took my time looking over what toppings and items were on the menu. I got salad greens for my base, and spicy salmon for my protein. What I loved about this place was that they didn't limit you on the amount of toppings. I just wished that my scoop of salmon was a bit bigger because if that is my main protein, it should be bigger than the scoops of my toppings. The sushirito itself was pretty good, but nothing to write home about. I loved that they give you awesome quality chopsticks for takeout and choices between regular and low sodium soy sauce.

Yelp
Tried the Sweet and Spicy Ahi Tuna and the Pepper Salmon poke. Both were very tasty and fresh. The sauces were flavorful and the servings were fair.

Yelp
Bro I love Love Art Sushi but definitely never coming back here. Their portions are so small compared to the one near Newbury St. When we walked in, nobody was at the front and we waited for a couple minutes like what...

Yelp
This may be my new goto lunch spot! Love Art Sushi is a great fast casual option for lunch or grab and go sushi burritos after work! (They even have a happy hour deal on these after 4 on specific dates!) I got a build your own bowl with tuna and shoyu tuna. I also did a mix of the white rice and the spring greens. All the additional toppings were very fresh and it wasn't a huge add on like I have experienced with other poke places. One thing to note, the lines get pretty long if you go too far into the standard lunch hour. It took about 10 minutes in the line for me and I started right at the door, but when I left there was a line wrapped around inside. The guys on the food line were moving quickly but it is definitely a popular place. Best to go before 12:15!

Yelp
Came here to grab lunch and the line wasn't super long. Fenway special - the tuna was good. Everything in the Fenway special worked well together but I wish there was a little more sauce. The rice was super clumpy and mushy so I didn't eat much of it. I've had sushi rice before but never like this.

Yelp
I was a little hesitant to come here because I did not enjoy their other location on Mass Ave. The portions there were small and the customer service was really weird. I'm glad to say that I had a good experience here and will definitely be coming back! Like what others have mentioned, the interior here is very clean and everything is fresh. You can build your own bowl or order one of their curated bowls. The employees are friendly and the portions are pretty decent. The spicy salmon here is amazing. I think the standard recipe for spicy salmon involves using a sriracha base, but the spicy salmon here tastes like they use laoganma. They have onions mixed into the spicy salmon which adds more variety to the texture and flavor. You can add kale to your bowl if you're feeling healthy. Toppings like avocado and masago cost extra.

Yelp
Great poke bowls, decent serving size, and the variety of options on the menu make this a solid choice for this part of Boston. Convenient to the WeWork for a lunch option.

Sarah R.

Yelp
This place used to be okay but I went here tonight and not only did they skimp on the fish like many places do but they skimped on the rice-- like...the entire base of the bowl had barely any rice... kind of a key component of poke-- ingredients also weren't the freshest. It's hard to find good poke in Boston but Waikiki in Davis remains #1 in my book, I won't come back here.

Hannah M.

Yelp
I usually like this restaurant, but I when I visited I noticed there was a child behind the counter, this child is always here around the restaurant, while I have no problem with that the child reached into the seaweed wrap paper with his bare hands and began to eat it and the adult owner did not correct the child or switch out the seaweed and continued to make makirolls with it,it's highly unhygienic especially with children's hands (because we know how they can be ) , THAT PUT ME OFF MY FOOD ,fix this as this can get customers sick , this was at the Fenway location.

Yelp
Why I'll go back: Because I LOVE the entire experience of a poke bowl and these people know how to do it right! You HAVE to order: Whatever suits your fancy that day. Right now, they've got nine house curated bowls (but the ability to make your own), plus 13 Makirittos. So, as they (used to) say, you do you. Tony's Tip: There's only one guy working right now, which is probably fine because...COVID. But if things ever pick up again, you're gonna wanna hit this place on the early side of lunch or do a preorder online for pickup. I have been stalking this place for, ummm, at least a year! There isn't a single place in Downtown Crossing or the Financial District where you can get a quality poke bowl to go. So when I saw the window teasers last year for a POKE by Love Art moving into the renovated Congress Square building, I thought, "Finally, I can get my fix!." Well, "finally" lasted a year thanks to the pandemic and I'm sure some other factors. But in mid-January, the doors finally opened. The interior space isn't entirely finished, and it's set up to mostly be a takeout spot. But they got the important stuff up and running - a bright digital board with great photos of the menu, a clean and streamlined ordering space...and an endless mix of poke combinations. Prices run about $1-2 more than a Sweetgreen salad, which I would say is well worth it. My inaugural buy was the Fenway Special - a classic bowl that more than hit the spot. My wife had the Volcano Spice, which she said was good, but a bit heavy for lunch. I see no reason why I can't work my way through the entire list before Winter is over. Now, go get your fix!

Yelp
This was my first poke. I'm thinking I might be spoiled. Is it all this good? Or will I be forever chasing the poke dragon never to relive that first time? I got the Crispy Noodle Hack and added unagi. I'm glad I did. That unagi is the shiz-nit! The service was really friendly and helpful. The food seems super fresh and high quality. Love Art Sushi has made a friend for life.

Joe H.

Yelp
Pre-ordered 6 lunch bowls with a 20 min prep window. Arrived in time and ended up having to wait another 25 mins while they continued to overlook our order and not acknowledge us, despite an ask every 5 mins. Food is ok but not worth the lackluster service.
google avatar

Lisa S.

Yelp
Love this place! Sushi is fresh with a good choice of sauces to mix in. Wish they had some indoor seating. Definitely worth trying if your in downtown.

Yelp
Great place! Highly recommend if you're around the Boston Downtown Crossing area :) Pros: + It was easy to order online. Everything is well explained and they also have illustrations of each dish. The passion-fruit tea was excellent. They offer boba and heart shaped jelly's which was my favorite part of my meal () They had my order ready in 10 mins, so speedy! When I came in the staff was friendly with me and handed me my bag with all utensils inside. Truly and easy breezy transaction :D Negative side in my experience: - When I came in to pickup they had TARO drinks available, which I would have chosen had it been an option while online ordering :/ I found this place searching "sushi" on maps while on a trip in Boston. I was looking for the Americanized sushi version I'm used to like the bite size cut rolls and such. I was taken by surprise when browsing their page I realized they basically only carry poke bowls and those "sushirrito novelty rolls" Makirrittos (or some name like that) but I still went with it because it was the only place open on Monday night. I chose one of their specialty bowls, Fenway Special. Having looked at the menu everything looks delicious and while I was still hesitant, I decided to give the poke bowl a try. This was my first poke bowl ever. I really enjoyed the experience while eating IT WAS SO GOOD it but unfortunately it did not agree with my stomach. I could not catch a break with how bloated I was afterwards and my fartyboos where sooo stinky, truly the worst they've EVER been. I think it's because I'm sensible to some foods and I got a minor food poisoning case from eating in Boston. I'm sure many people can eat all around cities and have no problems but I'm unfortunately not one of those customers :( Final thoughts: I would say overall I had a 9.5/10 experience with Love Art Sushi . Just removing a decimal because of the afterwards stinky situation.

Yelp
This is a nice little spot to enjoy some Poke bowls. The staff are all so kind and helpful and the ambiance is warm and welcoming. The food all tasted fresh and was flavorful.

V M.

Yelp
They completely messed up my order. I built my own bowl, and had the following issues: 1. Did NOT order with rice (asked for just salad) but they put in rice. 2. Ordered (and paid for) salmon poke, and there wasn't any. Not one bit. 3. There was SOME tuna poke, which I had ordered, but it was very minimal. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the gentleman who gave me my order was very friendly.

Yelp
Being from Hawaii I was happy to see Love Art Sushi, got the Hawaiian Spicy bowl, was legit, like home, super tasty and lot's of creative options, will be glad to go back later, staff was friendly and the place was clean, Mahalo guys

Yelp
I love this spot!! High quality and extremely affordable fast casual, you get the most bang for your buck here when it comes to sushi/poke. I've only had their poke bowls so can't speak to their other items my go-to is a custom bowl with half-rice and half-mixed greens, double ahi tuna, all the veggies, and extra sauce, all for 10 dollars and change! Perfect for a quick lunch or dinner on the go

L T.

Yelp
I walked into Love Art Sushi with low expectations. I figured, how fresh can a fast food restaurant be with their sushi? Lo and behold, I was impressed by everything! First of all, the place was very clean! I saw the server behind the counter washing his hands before making orders. And all the servers gloved up too! Second of all, the sushi fish were all super fresh. The cooked eel was surprisingly very soft!! Not many places make their eels soft like that! Third of all, the drinks were all delicious! I have to say, they can be a bit more generous with the portion. But other than that, no complains, and this will be my go-to place for something quick, filling, and healthful!

Yelp
I frequently purchase food from here... usually a ton at a time. I'm a hungry girl/ I love my cravings. Last purchase was a big one and the fish seemed funky. I can't do a redo about it, but now I am questioning if I will order from here again.

Dan L.

Yelp
Love Art Sushi is amazing!! Great discovery - everyone we have taken raves about the food quality (especially the tuna and salmon) Generous portions and options for gluten free and vegan too. The servers were so helpful and patient when we were first time customers. I really appreciate the consistent excellent service and quality Located between Downtown Crossing and Faneuil Hall. We go there twice a week. However, I could go every night (open 7 days a week) and I would be happy. Dan L

Yelp
DO NOT GO!!!! I ordered take out from this restaurant. When I arrived to pick it up, the restaurant had a sign on it saying closed for maintenance. Nothing on the website mentioned this and the online platform was still taking orders. The restaurant charged my credit card the full amount. I have tried calling and emailing multiple times and have gotten no response! I have never had such bad customer service.
google avatar

Yelp
Always ordered from this location on grubhub. Have yet to make it there in person. They make my custom bowls perfect every time. Better with portions here as well!

Silvie M.

Yelp
I love the variations of Sushi and sushi boels in generell. For a person who was not really into Sushi, this place is Heaveeen, its reallyy good, I recommend the fenway special!!

Sofia B.

Yelp
I found this place during my first weekend in Boston, coming out of the AMC, and it's been my favorite ever since. Food is always fresh and staff is very nice :) I keep coming back and it's the best part of my day. I bring my friends, first against their will but they wind up loving it too - I may or may not be trying to start a Love Art Sushi cult! ‍

Greg W.

Yelp
Outstanding. Can't believe i just tried this now. Highly rec. Il be going out of my way for this
