"Coming to 40 Water St. in downtown Boston’s Congress Square development this summer, Love Art Poke will join the Love Art group run by co-owners Ronald Liu and Jessica Chiep. I learned they’ll use the same fast-casual counter-service model as their other restaurants and focus primarily on Hawaiian marinated raw fish—poke—served on bases of brown or white rice or other grains, alongside sushi burritos and chirashi bowls. The poke menu will include spicy tuna and salmon with red cabbage, jalapeño, green pepper, scallions, and shoyu dressing, as well as a sesame miso tuna with pickled vegetables; there will also be vegan options and a selection of sauces. Liu says repeat customers return because there’s strong demand for meals that are both healthy and crave-worthy.
