Every single time I come here I am just so amazed by the workers! They are incredibly nice and it’s definitely one of the reasons I keep coming back!!! The ice cream is number 1 reason, their flavors are so unique! They share the flavors on all of their socials so it’s easy to know what to expect flavor wise. They also post cute and clever videos that shows just how great the owners are. They know what they wanted to achieve and they achieved well beyond that. Love it here so much. The canal park location is also super great!

Love Creamery is always a must-visit every time I’m in town! Every ice cream flavor I’ve tried has been absolutely delicious. Their waffle cones are crunchy, flavorful, and I’m pretty sure there’s a bit of chocolate at the bottom—which is such a fun touch! I’ve enjoyed everything from their ice cream flights to full bowls, and the quality is always top-notch. On our most recent visit, we had our puppy with us and he got a little treat too—he loved it! Love Creamery is a fun, welcoming spot for a tasty treat, and it's wonderfully pet-friendly. Highly recommend!

Absolutely go with the ice cream flight and try a little of 6 different flavors. Small batch ice creams were all delicious!! Highly recommend a visit here.

I can't believe how phenomenal the Goat Cheese and Honeycomb flavor is!! 🍦 This place was poppin' when I visited, but for good reason, the place is awesome. I definitely recommend the flight, so you can try 6 different flavors. You can even get your coffee drinks such as a latte here. ☕ I've been to quite a few different ice cream shops, but this one has been by far the best. Definitely one of the coolest places Duluth has to offer.

I really love the ice cream, and was excited to receive an ice cream pie as a gift, so I ordered and picked it up today. It was delicious, but I didn't enjoy the texture. Maybe it was the pie crust? I don't know. I picked it apart and enjoyed the nuts and filling! Give it a try, it may be just me.

Both locations have wonderful service and rotating flavors of ice cream. March 2025, the spicy honey crunch was the best flavor yet!

As locals, we love supporting businesses in the area but we love it even more when the ice cream is top notch and unique. Our favorites are Salted Caramel and Chamomile Honeycomb but honestly, anything with the honeycomb is soooo good. We got a cake for the first time and it was a big hit for our son’s first birthday cake. Also, sweet mural scenery by a talented local artist as well!

A popular spot in Lincoln Park to stop for families and adults alike. The staff is friendly and happy to let you try any of the flavors to help you narrow down your selection. The flavors are all so good, that it can be hard to choose! It's truly one of the best ice cream shops I've ever been too. Make sure to stop in on your birthday for free ice cream!

The best local ice cream i have ever been to! The variety of flavors was amzing! The line is usally pretty long to get to the counter, but the wait is totally worth it! We went in two different months, and the flavors were so different and versatile. A lot of vegan options and the vegan ice creams taste no less amazing than the dairy ones. My favorite is the pistachio honey ice cream. The location is great, right at Canal park so it's fun getting an icecream and walking around Canal park!

My daughter and I stopped here during our visit to duluth. It's a cute little shop, quiet and nicely sized, not for groups larger than 4 inside of your being comfortable. To be honest, I'm struggling to remember as I'm writing this review a couple months after our visit. They had a vegan pumpkin holiday like flavor, and it was delicious! Our deserts were creamy and smooth.. perfect The service was of course amazing. It's Minnesota, I expected such. It was such a welcoming vibe that we will definitely come back and try this ice cream every time we're in Duluth.

I stopped at Love Creamery during my trip to Duluth. They had a lot of vegan type choices. A lot of homemade ice cream. They have waffle cones and regular cones. I tried the caramel sundae with whipped cream and cashews. It was very tasty.

Starting with the positive- Super cute shop, staff was friendly and helpful Busy shop but they were fairly efficient Plenty of parking in the adjoining lot and street Small indoor seating and have a nice large patio Now to the negative- The ice cream itself... I had one of their staples to their menu- cookies and cream... and it was not what I expected. It had a coffee flavor for the icecream and the cookies were not a typical "cookies and cream" cookie. It was so terrible I ended up just throwing it away. Considering the other positive reviews- it makes me question... Perhaps they ended up dishing up the wrong flavor? Definitely recommend asking for samples before buying a full serving. I'll be doing this next time!

The ice cream was very sweet and fatty. It had an off consistency, not as creamy as others but more solid. One might think that the ice cream therefore has less fat but my stomach ache told me otherwise. The mural in the store was a little upsetting to me as only the Chinese girl was standing in the back without ice cream while all the other kids had one... Interesting choice for a mural.

Love Creamery is amazing! I have celiac and love that their waffle cones are gluten free and a lot of their ice cream flavors. I got a waffle cone with Goat Cheese Honeycomb and Salted Caramel. I really enjoyed both flavors and would get them again. The price is really good for how much ice cream you get. Parking is street parking and can be a little difficult to find if the store is busy. There also isn't a lot of seating inside when it's busy but if it's quiet then you'll find a place to sit. The service is great and I highly recommend if you're in the Duluth area!

You will ~love~ this ice cream shop! The flight option is perfect for trying many delicious flavors, and it's more than enough for two people to share. Friendly staff and bright, cheerful shop! I took a punch card for my next visit to Duluth.

What a cute little ice cream shop! They have so many amazing flavors to choose from that I had to try a few before deciding! I appreciate that they welcome sampling and use real spoons to reduce waste. They offer homemade waffle cones or 1-3 scoops in a cup. I ended up ordering the salted black licorice and a caramel chocolate. The licorice was so delightful and it's not a flavor I have really seen anywhere else. I am sure my recommendation is a love or hate flavor, but I thought it was amazing! There were so many vegan (dairy-free) options to choose from as well. You can get your ice cream to go or eat there. We ate there in next to the fireplace and windows. I noticed there were at least 2 Duluth locations - this one across from the Smokehouse and one down by the liftbridge. Enjoy!

Love Creamery was a great "find" while my husband and I visited Duluth over Labor Day weekend. We wanted to get a sweet dessert after dinner and upon exiting OMC Smokehouse we saw Love Creamy right across the street (win win)!! We knew it must be good when we saw the long line outside - took us about 15 minutes before we could order due to the wait and it was even well past rush time (~8pm). When it came time to order, I appreciated that you could sample any flavor as you liked to help you make a decision. I also liked the fact that you could mix as many flavors as you liked in your cup (which I chose a large size). After much deliberation I chose Salted Caramel and Salted Chocolate Brownie as my two flavors. Delicious!!! Definitely will visit here again when I'm Duluth to see what seasonal flavors they have in stock as they are constantly rotating them. Lots of flavors to choose from in a super cool vibe, I encourage you to pay them a visit when in Duluth.

The food was fantastic. The service is was great and fast . There was gluten free and vegan options. Plus there different coffees drink . The room was bright and blue furnitures was ambiance

Stopped in for an afternoon sweet treat! Service at the counter was very good and quick. There was an employee (maybe manager) doing and interview at the same time we were there in the main seating area. Normally I think this would be fine but it was kind of busy so it seems like he would've got the hint and moved. Plus maybe talked a little less about himself and ask more questions about the interviewee. We got 3 root beer floats, all amazing! The only suggestion would be to not put a top on the cup, you can't suck the ice cream through the straw because it was so thick and then can't get the top off without spilling. Brother got the cookie butter shake and loved it. Will definitely be back to visit.

This was some of the best ice cream I've had in awhile! They have a lovely variety of unique flavors and the service is very fast. I especially loved the vegan almond chip and vegan salted cashew. The goat cheese berry and the lavender flavor was amazing. And, they offer ice cream flights so you can try 6 flavors. Parking is a little tough and it's busier on the weekends so just keep that in mind!

Love creamery is bright and welcoming. The ice cream is tasty and they do samples so you know you'll like what you order. They even have vegan flavors, that are actually really good.

They are fast at serving so don't be deceived by the line! The blueberry cheesecake and Carmel cookie crunch are the best by far.

Seriously the best ice cream I have ever had. Try the goat cheese honeycomb. You won't regret it. So smooth and creamy. The waffle cone also has melted chocolate in the bottom to keep it from leaking, which was a tasty treat at the end.

This was amazing! It was very busy when we went so a little crowded at first but was soooo worth it! My daughter is allergic to dairy and so we both had dairy free Nutella ice cream! I love that everything is organic and local! I would go everyday if I wouldn't pack on the pounds

I eat ice cream a lot. Like a LOT A LOT. I was really really surprised to find this might be some of the best ice cream I have ever had. When we arrived it was a pretty long line out the building but it was TOTALLY worth it. I tried the flight and originally thought I wouldn't be able to find enough flavors I was interested in to fill it. But I was wrong. I even tried one of the vegan flavors and they were just as good as the regular dairy ones. Everyone in my party was super pleased with what they had and I would be back if I lived in the area.

It was SO great to have a gf cone. And they had three coconut milk options. The service was great. And it was a sweet place. We are outside just to soak in the sunshine.

So glad I stopped by love creamery; the perfect pick me up when you're craving something refreshing & sweet even in January! It's a very cozy & well arranged location. The staff were just as sweet, gave recommendations and offered samples. Mint chocolate chip for the win. Would definitely come back when I'm in town.

Love Creamery is a cute, friendly spot in a semi-gentrifying, semi-rundown part of Duluth. They have a few labeled vegan options for ice cream which is also great. I got a scoop of the vegan nutella and vegan maple pecan ($3.75 each). The nutella tasted good, but had a chalky texture. The maple pecan, however, was fabulous: creamy, smooth and lightly sweet. They also offer coffee drinks and we had a nice oat milk cappuccino. Don't skip Love Creamery if you're in Duluth.

First, their COVID protocols are amazing! They only take window orders and everyone has to wait outside for their orders to come out. Let me tell you right now that their ice cream is so unique, creamy and has so much flavor. Their dark chocolate is so creamy, rich, and I seriously wanted to buy 10 pints and bring it home. Their honey lavender was not my favorite, but it was very light and felt airy. I would highly recommend this place, it was perfect for a summer day!

Love Creamery is my FAVORITE ice cream shop I've been to. EVER. I discovered it with my family in Duluth a couple years ago when we were visiting, and now we go there any time we can in Duluth. Even if it's freezing cold, you can still find one or two groups in there. That sure fires say something. I've honestly never had a bad experience at Love Creamery. The decor is amazing, the employees are so kind, and the ice cream is delicious. What's not to like??

Stopped here on a November Monday afternoon, so it wasn't busy. The employee working was SO helpful, talking about how they source/make different flavors and letting us sample a number of different flavors with no hint of impatience. Ended up getting a Lucky Charms cone and a cone with Snickerdoodle/S'mores/Pumpkin Pie. So delicious, and fantastic customer service! Also: For someone who used to be vegan, I think they have the best vegan ice cream I've ever tried.

Really good ice cream. Their flavors change daily and they often run out of certain flavors. I got a baby scoop of half dark chocolate and half buttermilk; which was a great flavor combination. Ordering is simple from the window and they will bring your ice cream out to you. They have set up a cute parklet where you can enjoy your ice cream.

THE BEST ICE CREAM!!! You absolutely HAVE to stop here. We did twice in the day we were here!!! So many flavors and they were ALL delicious. Highly recommend the coconut! With respect to allergies (gluten and dairy) here are my thoughts: - Gluten: SO GLUTEN FRIENDLY!!! All cones are GF (which is unheard of) and the cross-contamination procedures are fantastic (my celiac brother did not get sick) and they have a wide variety of GF flavors (99% of them are GF). - Dairy: It is an ice cream place, but there were definitely a few vegan/DF options, but don't be too upset because they were PHENOMENAL. Best vegan/DF ice cream I've ever had.

Love Creamery is a must-stop spot when visiting Duluth! They have quite a few incredible rotating flavors... The only down-side is that your favorite may not be around for too long! I personally stocked up on a pint of London Fog and a pint of Honey Lavender because they were too good to go without. The woman working was so incredibly helpful, and she even provided me with a few ice packs to keep my pints cold enough until I made it home. Both the service and the ice cream was top notch! They also have plenty of incredible vegan and gluten free options!! I have tried a few of them, and I find them amazing even as a non-vegan. Street parking was super easy, and there are plenty of awesome dinner and drink options in the area, too. It makes for a perfect afternoon in Duluth!!

This ice cream is the very best on the planet. It is top quality, has unique and unexpected flavors as well as the classics, features local ingredients where possible, and includes vegan options. They are aptly named as it's easy to fall in love with Love Creamery. Note that they have a couple of locations in town. Also, don't be surprised to find other local small businesses selling Love Creamery ice cream--so many ways to try this delicious product!

I absolutely loved Love Creamery. Anytime I find vegan ice cream I am ecstatic. This sweet spot is located in the tourist area of beautiful Duluth. We couldn't believe how gorgeous it is (FYi) but then to find this special little oce cream shop - what a treat. Loads of unique flavors, a friendly vibe, and they ask you what order you'd like your scoops to be in your cone. Now that, my friends is gracious customer service. Absolutely LOVED the ice cream! The shop is super cute and the staff love their job, it shows! I love how you are able to sample whichever flavor you like and on top of that you can order a flight of ice cream and select 6 flavors!! This truly is a great deal and a good option for those who cannot decide on one or just don't want to be limited! I got the flight with Salted Caramel, Triple Chocolate Love, Goat Cheese Honeycomb, Lemon Custard, Cookies and Cream, and Whiskey Bourbon Pecan. My favorites were the Goat Cheese Honeycomb and the Salted Caramel! Definitely recommend this place for an afternoon snack or after dinner treat!

Stopped here before dinner and I loved all the different flavors they had and how nice all the staff were. They also offer a flight of ice cream which I thought was really cool. I will definitely be stopping by next time I'm in the area.

Local, artisan, handcrafting ice cream daily from SCRATCH, oh yeah and good coffee too. Organic, they offer vegan as well as ICE CREAM FLIGHTS. Yes, it is more $ than Dairy Queen, but there is artistry in their offerings to the world. And choices, really good choices. I love a GOOD AFFOGATO...and this was the SUPREME Affogato of all: I asked for a dollop of goat cheese brandied cherry and buttermilk ice creams in mine. The server didn't throw a hissy fit-and thought it might be interesting. It was. That is an example of good customer service.

This is some of the best ice cream I've ever had. I got a flight which is six golf-ball sized scoops served in an adorable carton. The salted caramel in particular was superbly rich and flavorful, but every flavor was really good. I'll absolutely be back when I'm in the area.

This is a must stop for us when in Duluth...sometimes once a day :) The staff is super friendly and helpful, they have a cool walkup window to order, their flavors are so clever and delicious, they have coffee and espresso so I don't have to find a separate coffee shop!, they give free samples to help with decisions, they gave vegan and gluten free options, AND they give doggy treats for you furbaby! I just love this place!

Tonight was our first time here. We're not from the area but noticed this place yesterday. We tasted several flavors (4) before settling on two. I thought their ice cream was good but I felt the flavors lacked the depth that I prefer. I'd stop here again and try even more flavors.

Came here while visiting bent paddle. They have seating outdoors and the street is very cute. Salted peanut butter Oreo - very well rounded. Salty, creamy, and a little bitter S'mores - does not taste like s'mores Strawberry white chocolate - overly sweet Cold brew was standard

This was a impromptu stop before leaving Duluth! The line was out the door but moved quickly! I got salted Carmel and while the flavor was good I wish it had swirls of Carmel. The real start of the show was the waffle cone! It was chocolate in the bottom of the top and was rich and buttery in taste! I would definitely go again and just try a different flavor!

Great ice cream!! The person who served me was so kind! They were super quick and knowledgeable. All of the ice creams were great! (I got the lemon cream) the cookies and cream was great and so was the lucky charms ice cream! The cones are house made and sooo yummy! And I also loved the pronouns pins it helps a lot when reviewing!! I have nothing but great things to say about Love!!

My husband and I came here for an ice cream treat on Valentines Day and were absolutely not disappointed! First of all, the gal at the counter had the coolest eye makeup I've ever seen (tiny rainbow hearts!) and was happy to get us samples and recommend flavors. She even gave us a little valentine with our order! I got goat cheese honeycomb and my husband got cookie butter. Both were totally amazing choices (out of so many good ones!) - absolutely delicious, top notch ice cream! We will definitely be back.
