11 Of The Best Croissants Across America - The Infatuation

"Houston’s Love Croissants puts the name (and percentage) of the fancy butter in the croissants right on the menu—82% beurremont beurre—so you know it’s serious. Try the satisfying pain au chocolats or the croissants stuffed with extra thick layers of smoked ham and asiago. They also have something called a “crolache,” a uniquely Texas mashup that combines a croissant and toasted jalapeño cheddar beef sausage kolache." - anne cruz

Google
Nice little and - at least that’s what it seemed - successful place! Despite the amount of what the staff had to do they remained calm, friendly and patient. A few more sitting options and staff would be recommendable. The croissants we had were very good. Still I think it’s pretty expensive so wouldn’t go there too often.

Google
Upon walking in the aroma made my mouth water. The restaurant is a cute a small place. I won't say cozy because the space is so small that where you are sitting the other patrons coming in are standing over you. The menu didnt list all the options they had to serve so I found myself asking what is that and what is this. The cashier was super sweet though and answered all my questions. The crossiants were large and delicious. Definitely worth the price about $11 to $12 each. Overall I would come back for to go only.

Google
Used to like this place more. The pastry dough lamination and butter taste/quality has declined. Still a sizable pastry but expensive, and the outside is rightfully flakey. However, inside layers need a better honeycomb structure and is too soft/chewy: either the dough was warm during lamination (butter melted into the dough), slightly under-proofing, or too much humidity when baking (or baking temp too low). The butter also used to have a richer, tangy-nuttier flavor - did they switch butter brands? It’s reminiscent of a reheated Costco croissant now, not sure if I’ll come back anymore.

Google
Love Croissant blew me away. The place is spotless, stylish, and clearly well-run. The young ladies working there were fast, polite, and on top of everything. I ordered to-go and was honestly impressed — great service, great atmosphere, and the food was worth it. I’ll definitely be back.

Google
Wonderful! I went for the original butter croissant, heated gently to keep its crisp. You taste a rich butter, and pillows fluffy interior. The cinnamon twist was heavenly too 😋 Going to try the pistachio tres leches next.

htxfoodexplorer

Google
One of the best croissants I’ve had in Houston. Flaky outer layer and moist inside. The pistachio brownie is especially crispy has the brownie on the bottom layer of the croissant, the inside had the Dubai chocolate pistachio filling, and the outer layer has the crunchy flaky pistachio shell. Also tried the love bun which has cream cheese inside.

Google
I loved it so much! Absolutely beautiful pastries bursting with flavour. I was recommended the turkey croissant and was genuinely sad I’d agreed to split it with my husband. I’m also not usually much of a sweet dessert person, but the blueberries and lime combo I got was a great balance for me of fresh and sweet. I’ll definitely be coming back here again!

If you're looking for a true taste of France in Houston, look no further! :))) I had breakfast in person at Love Croissant and it was a pure delight from start to finish (August 2025)

Yelp
I am definitely one of those people who really appreciates Magnol French Baking when it comes to delectable croissants. However, I am also interested in what Love Croissants has to offer in that regard. So far, the Love Bun, a lime cream-infused croissants pastry topped with guava glaze, is my favorite, most frequently ordered item. It is so delicious. If you happen to dine at Weights and Measures, it's easy to stop by Love Croissants, which is situated in an adjacent space to the right of the restaurant. Parking outside has always been relatively easy and service has always been great. I would recommend Love Croissants to anyone who is either looking for savory or sweet croissants with a slightly different twist. For those of us who live inside the Loop, the location is easy to find within Midtown.

Yelp
This is a walk up pastry shop right outside Weights and Measures. There are about three small tables to sit and a couple of standing tables. This is a standard weekend stop for me. I walk here and take mine to go. They always have a general standard assortment of pastries - croissant, pan de chocolate for example and then some specialty ones. They offer coffees and have a standing refrigerator with sodas in glass. You can get your pastries warmed up if you like. They do a good job of wrapping up the pastries to go.
google avatar

Yelp
I came to Love Croissants because my friend wanted to eat at Weights & Measures during lunch rush. So, I decided to sneak out early to get some croissants for the road. This bakery has small footprint and located right at the entrance before the other restaurant. Not sure if they were related. But I saw croissants were served over there. Anyhow, I love the freshness and flavors of croissants just came out of the oven. If I am in there area, I would stop by to get some for the road again.

Yelp
The croissants are AMAZING! I got the beef and cheddar and the banana bomb and I must say they're both delicious but the banana bomb is my new favorite croissant of all time!!!
google avatar

Valeria A.

Yelp
Small spot to grab tasty croissants! They were delicious and you can have the warmed up at the location. I got the goat cheese turkey croissant, beef and cheddar croissant and the spinach and mushroom pie croissant. They were so good warm and crunchy. It's a small business with wonderful staff and heartwarming!
google avatar

Melany _.

Yelp
The presentation of the latte looked very pretty but it tasted like pure milk with splashes of cinnamon. However, the chocolate croissant was amazing!
google avatar

Kori W.

Yelp
Listen y'all. Run, do not walk to go get the love bomb that is seasonally available (Feb 2026). It is absolutely delicious. The red velvet cake is soft and moist, and it's perfectly complimented by the cream cheese filling, and the delicate swirls of strawberry which are interlaced within the croissant dough. I'm definitely coming back to try the love bun (guava and cream cheese). They already have me as a regular for the turkey and goat cheese croissant, but I will definitely be braver in trying their seasonal items as the love bomb is amazing.

Yelp
I'll keep this one short and sweet. I had the chocolate almond croissant warmed and it was so good I ate it before I took a picture. Best croissant I've had since going to Paris. Cute shop in Midtown with some seating, great staff, and a parking lot. I'll be back to try some of the savory options and coffee.

Yelp
I'm officially on a mission to try every pastry at Love Croissants--gotta catch 'em all. The first time I had it was on a drive to Austin when my buddy picked up a few to share. They were fine, but nothing that really stuck with me. Today, though? Total game-changer. I got a Love Bun filled with lime cream cheese, topped with guava glaze and a graham cracker crumb--easy 15/10. It's like a croissant and a sticky bun had a beautiful, flaky baby. The team was kind and quick, and they finished it off with the glaze and crumble right at the counter so it was fresh, warm, and absolutely messy in the best way. I paired it with an iced flat white and walked out already planning my next visit. It's right next to Weights and Measures and a quick walk from the house, which makes it dangerously convenient. I genuinely feel for the folks working in the coworking space next door--how do they resist? I even had to make a stop at the bathroom on the way out just to wipe the glaze off my hands and face. Totally worth it.

Yelp
WOW! 10/10 croissants! I didn't visit personally, I had a patient bring some to our office! First..the packaging was just beautiful. Then you open the box and the pastries are literally magazine worthy. So beautiful....cant possibly present, look, and taste good right?! WRONG...I truly think these are some of the top croissants in Houston. We had a variety and everyone raved about how good they were. I had the Key Lime...WOW...delicious. The pastry was so buttery and perfect balance of flavor. The key like was pronounced and not overly sweet. Run...don't walk...trust me!

Yelp
This cute little shop is right next to downtown Houston. It's connected to several different businesses and it has a good amount of parking spaces, forewarning though: where you park is gravel and not concrete. The shop itself is quite small, it's good for dates but not for bigger families. I believe it closes at 2 so I would not say this place is good for studying. It's good for a quick meetup or a to go order. There are a couple of tables outside for the business next door and one table for Love Croissants. The croissants were really good. They're comparable in quality to Koffeteria. I had the love bun (guava, lime cream cheese, with graham crackers) and my husband had the turkey and goat cheese croissant. We both enjoyed our picks, but I will say the worker asked if we wanted ours heated up, come to find out she was just talking to my husband. I had mine cold, but it was still good regardless. I just enjoy warm croissants. The most expensive croissant on the menu (as of May 2025) was the turkey and goat croissant which was $12. Mine was $8. I wish it was a little bit cheaper but I understand we're paying for quality. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and I would definitely try it again!
google avatar

Yelp
The croissants were sooo good! We tried one savory and one sweet and both were perfectly soft on the inside with that crispy, flaky bite. I loved the savory one the most, it was super cheesy with jalapeño cheddar beef smoked sausage and aged cheddar, total comfort food vibes. The sweet one was the twice-baked almond LOVE croissant, filled with almond frangipane and warm spices (cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg) and topped with plenty of almonds. Both were amazing and I'll definitely be back! The coffee was just okay nothing special compared to the croissants. The staff were also friendly and helped us decide which ones to try.
google avatar

Yelp
Very good croissants which they better be considering the name. However, they are not the absolute best but they get the job done. Our favorite was the blue berry tart croissant - Flakey, not too sweet, pretty. The butter croissant was tasty but didn't have the soft billowy layers you expect. The almond and chocolate croissant was too much. It was very mushy in the middle. I didn't mind eating it but next time I would order either a chocolate OR almond croissant. The chai latte is a harddddd pass. HARD. Tasted like premade chia steeped in tap water. Went straight into the trash. Good pastry shop but it's pretty pricy as all of the other reviews state.

Yelp
I love croissants so naturally I had to stop by this spot located inside Weights & Measures. I wasn't overly impressed the first time I went but I usually believe in trying places at least twice before judging it. I've since been back two more times and I've tried quite a few of their croissants. Overall, they aren't bad but they're definitely not one of the better croissants in Houston. They are also quite pricey ranging from $8-$11 for a single croissants. Out of the almond, ham & cheese, chocolate and original I'd probably have to say I prefer just the regular original.

Grace C.

Yelp
Perhaps we were there at end of business time of the day. I ordered Macha latte, coffee, almond Croissants, chocolate Croissant, and Butter Croissant. My Macha Latte was barely warm, my husband's black coffee was acidity. The Croissants was nothing special... We are Very disappointed. So we will never go back again.

Yelp
Came on a Saturday morning after hearing so many amazing things about this spot, and I'm happy to report that it is worth the hype. We got the pesto, mozzarella, and prosciutto croissant and the beef sausage and cheddar croissant to share. The pesto, mozzarella, and prosciutto croissant was delicious and I really enjoyed how the fresh pesto, creamy mozzarella, and saltiness of the prosciutto paired together. These flavors are a classic combination that is hard to beat and I loved this breakfast rendition of them. (8.75/10) The beef sausage and cheddar croissant was also delectable. Just as you bite into the croissant, you get the essence of cheddar, and that, with the high-quality beef sausage, is like the most elevated kolache I've ever had. (8.5/10) Though the price is steeper than one would expect for a croissant, I will say these are definitely the best ones I've ever had. I would argue that the flavor, fluffiness of the croissants, and quality ingredients justify the price. The croissants also had a decorative crunchy layer to them that added to the texture and made it even more unique. The customer service is also stellar. I called ahead of time to check on the inventory and the owner, who was out at a farmer's market at the time, called his staff to check and then called me back just to let me know what croissants they had available which was so sweet. The bakery is a part of a coworking space and therefore they have a shared parking lot. Would definitely come back on a day I want to treat myself.
google avatar

Jeremy C.

Yelp
Now these are good croissants so flaky and with a great crunch. You can tell these are made from scratch. Never would've found this place is not for Yelp as it's kind of off the beaten path. Service was great as well.
google avatar

Jason A.

Yelp
10/10 experience! The croissants here are absolutely amazing. we tried both the beef sausage & cheese and the chocolate almond, and honestly, both are a must-try. Perfectly flaky, buttery, and so satisfying. There's a small but cozy seating area indoors and outdoors, making it a great spot whether you want to relax inside or enjoy some fresh air. The service was super friendly and patient as we asked about their different croissant options, which made the visit even better. Inside, the vibe is chill with great background music that really sets the tone. Definitely one of those places I'll be coming back to. worth it for the croissants alone!
google avatar

Elizabeth O.

Yelp
I came early in the morning for a chocolate croissant after I had ran into this business at White Linen Nights this summer. The chocolate croissant was divine! So delicious and flaky. Soft on the inside, but not overly chewy. It was so good! A little pricey at $8, but seriously one of the best chocolate croissants I've had in Houston. I definitely stop by again to treat myself every once in a while.
google avatar

Ebony L.

Yelp
Unfortunately for my waist, my current hyperfixation is pastries and I'm on a mission to find the best in the city. In a small, unsuspecting space, there's some pretty great things going on at Love Croissants. There's not much seating but I went on a Sunday AM so not much traffic inside and there was a free table. I had the turkey with goat cheese and a flat white with a berry lime tart to go. The menu is very to the point so don't expect a vast selection BUT the flavor profiles are interesting. The FW and croissant were EXCELLENT. Flaky, buttery, fresh. The flavor on the tart was meh. Didn't get much lime but bonus points for being loaded with blueberries. The staff was great and checked in to make sure everything was to my liking. I'm rarely in the area but there's definitely at least one or two other items I'm interested in trying, so I will return.

Yelp
Cute! Lemme start with. These crossiants are high rent. Butttt they are good! Lamination on these tasty pastries is clutch! I ordered the chocolate croissant and berry key lime croissant. Very very good! The chocolate is not over powering but it's just right! The berry lime crocroissant is so pretty! But it also is really good! I reccomend. This little bakery is in the same building as weights and measure (also good!) It is small and has a cute aesthic to it. Any who this place is located in midtown and has its own dedicated parking. It's small though.

Ryan J.

Yelp
Very tasty croissant. However, the last 2 times I've gone and had a croissant warmed up with meat inside, the meat is completely cold. For the price of an entrée, definitely expect more! These things aren't cheap.
google avatar

Michael M.

Yelp
Loved this place, visited for the first time last week. Stoped by after seeing a video on tiktok and believe me it's really good only thing that caught me off guard was a croissant for $8. Besides that nice spot to come hang for a bit
google avatar

Anika A.

Yelp
I was a bit disappointed in my experience here mainly because of the service. I wanted to surprise my friend with breakfast so opted to try a small business close to the city. I was curious about the croissant with goat cheese and would've loved to learn more about it. However, the woman working the front desk this particular morning was not welcoming at all! Didn't acknowledge me when I walked in, on her phone, AirPod in as if she didn't really want to be bothered. I get it, it was early in the morning but definitely not a good look nor a way to provide decent customer service. I ended up choosing the beef sausage and cheese croissant because it looked like that was a fan favorite since only 2 were left. The croissant was indeed pretty good, soft flaky crust. I also grabbed a fresh OJ to go as well. Just wish service would've been a little better because it definitely made me decide not to try the goat cheese croissant due to the lack of interests in me being a patron in the store.
google avatar

Yelp
Super small pastry shop located near the museum district. We arrived at 9am on a Saturday and there was a ton of parking. There's only 3 tables inside and 2 outside so you may have to order to-go. Listing them in order of best to least best (because honestly they were all great) we tried the almond cardamom, spinach and mushroom, sausage and cheddar and guava cream cheese. The coffee was a bit bitter and prices were a little high but we'd visit again if in the neighborhood.
google avatar

James L.

Yelp
Mmm.... I ordered a croissant and it as good. I'm only typing right now because yelp has a 85 character min and I guess I have to right a 500 word essay to make Yell happy. The food is amazing the staff is awesome.
google avatar

Tiffany P.

Yelp
These are the best croissants and overall pastries I have ever had. They are expensive compared to your typical pastry but it is 100% worth it. I've tried almost every pastry at this point and you can't go wrong with any choice. I would probably skip the turkey goat cheese but my favorites are the spinach mushroom, the beef sausage, the ham and cheese, the chocolate almond, and the almond cardamom. The berry tart and love bun are also super unique. The dough and bake on these is just so perfect. I wish my pockets could support how much I crave these croissants. They are sooooo delicious you have to try them!
google avatar

Carolina B.

Yelp
THE BEST CROISSANTS I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! Seriously--and I've been to Paris lol! Love Croissants is no joke. They have croissant baking down to an art. Their creations are masterful and should be studied. The joint is attached to Weights & Measures with plentiful parking--yay! Super cute (small) and clean interior. Staff is nice and do their job well. There are plenty of sweet and savory croissants to choose from, so I went ahead and got one if each--a ham & asiago, and an almond. BOTH, PERFECTION. I was so hungry that I ate them in the car. Let me say, I was exclaiming out loud "wow" at every bite. Plentiful meat inside the savory one, so much flaky crust. It's a meal for sure! So glad I got the sweet one too! Absolutely wonderful! My mouth is watering just writing this review...so looks like I'll need to head over there again soon! I'll go clear out of my way for this place!!!
google avatar

Theresa V.

Yelp
The flakey buttery croissants are so good! They are rather large but the amount of layers visible is astounding. We got classic pain au chocolat and butter croissant. The pain au chocolat may look deceiving in the amount of chocolate but wow its the perfect amount of chocolate and not too sweet. The butter croissant is everything you wish a croissant to be. It was a little confusing because it is connected to weights and measures but they have a few seats if you want to hang around for a little
google avatar

Gene L.

Yelp
These croissants are so mid - overpriced, and way over-hyped. I've tried them on two separate occasions thinking first time was just an off day, but my final verdict is that I can not recommend this place. A bit surprised as to why this place gets so much praise. It is by no means BAD, but does not deserve the amount of accolades it gets. For me, the plain croissant is the benchmark by which I judge - the one at Love is oily/buttery without richness, flaky and crisp without any substance or fluff. Pass on Love Croissants - this place is all social media hype and marketing, and its reputation is not deserved. If you want the best croissant in Houston, go to Magnol - they know what they are doing.
google avatar

Sharon C.

Yelp
Love Croissants is my favorite place to stop on the weekend. My favorite is the turkey goat cheese croissant. When you walk in, the glorious smell of croissants overwhelms you. You will most likely also run into the shop owner who are super friendly. You can also find Love Croissants at the Market square farmer's market and the Rice Village farmer's market. Highly recommend anyone in the area to make a stop!
google avatar

Jenny Q.

Yelp
I had the plain croissant and my friend had the almond croissant. The croissant was flaky and buttery, a lovely combination. The price is a bit steep, but I think this is factoring in the price of ingredients and labor to make croissants (it's super hard to make them). A must try at least once. One of the best Houston. Lots of parking and right next to weights + measures.
google avatar

Mary G.

Yelp
We've been ordering delivery from Love Croissants for a while and we're excited to finally visit the location ! I think I'd stick to delivery or pickup in the future though. It's a cute spot but the seating isn't great. That significantly influenced my review. But I'm still giving 4 stars because I love their croissants Food: The food is awesome ! Whether you get a plain croissant or one of their fancier items, it's all delicious ! There's something about the ham items I don't quite like flavor-wise but that's just me personally Parking: It's in a shopping center so there's plenty of parking but parking gets full! Seating: There's a few small tables just outside the front door but it's right on the edge of the parking lot and pretty uncomfortable. There's not much space and dust from the lot comes up a lot. Inside There's a few tables as well but you feel jn the way of the line and the other restaurant entrance... Overall I recommend coming here but taking your food to go
google avatar

Cyndi G.

Yelp
Loved the croissants small place nice people must check out. Open 7am to 2pm daily. Easy parking outside seating as well.

Yelp
Stopped by Love Croissants on a Wednesday morning and it was cute! + Menu: Standard coffee menu and a variety of croissants (which I assume have a rotating menu) + Seating: About 10ish small tables with a 2-3 chairs per table. Great for catching up with a friend or for doing solo work. + Service: Only had one lady working when I came in and she was super nice! + Pricing: Definitely on the pricier side. Standard sized croissants varied from $6-12 and they also had mini croissants for $3.50 a piece. Most items on menu (coffee and croissants) fall within the $4-12 price range. + Food: A very delicious croissant! Even though I only tried a mini pain au chocolat you could definitely tell it is of good quality just by tearing it in half. It was super flaky and buttery and the chocolate inside was delicious but I wished it had a bit more chocolate inside because I ended up with only one bite of chocolate (could be because I was eating the mini one so the lack of chocolate is bound to happen since the vessel is small). Ordered a matcha latte with vanilla and it came out to be $6 ish and was served in one of the smallest cups I've ever gotten from any cafe. It tasted okay but there's definitely room for improvement and when I went to the counter I could see quite a bit of matcha left in the bowl they used to make it which made me a little sad. + Wifi: They share wifi with the restaurant right next to them so it isn't the strongest but it's usable. Would personally not recommend doing any work with wifi needed here. + Parking: Shares a private parking lot with some other stores and you can definitely get a parking spot but might be harder to park on a busier day. + Would I go here again: Yess!!! I would love to be able to come back and try different croissants here. It's a little bit of a drive from where I am at but if I am ever in the area I would stop by and pick up a croissant for a snack!

Yelp
Specialty croissant bakery that seems to have various flavors and options on a day to day basis. Its a small bakery with some seating inside and a few tables outside as well. Order at the counte, which also has a display of the varieties on offer and whether they've sold out. We came in around 1PM and quite a few were already sold out. We tried the cardamom almond and sausage croissant. Both croissants were good but to me, definitely not worth the price tag. At about $10 a croissant, I'd hope they would wow me but I was whelmed. To me this seems overhyped so they underdelivered.
google avatar

Macey M.

Yelp
Ambiance: Small bakery space with 2-3 bistro tables inside a restaurant/co-working space that offers a small assortment of freshly baked croissants. Given the small dining area, this is more of a to-go or quick bite spot! Limited options for beverages and other breakfast items besides croissants. Parking onsite. A bit pricey for what is essentially just croissants and drip coffee - however the croissants were extremely good, nicely sized, and flaky perfection! I enjoyed the turkey & goat cheese croissant the most - so good! I would go back if I was in the area and wanting a super quick but delicious and filling breakfast item.
google avatar

Tracey Z.

Yelp
While the aesthetic of this place is really cute, I would not come here again. 1. There are about 2 tables to sit down, not a good place to come and chat with a friend. 2. They were pretty much sold out when we arrived at 11 3. Very overpriced croissants. I got the toasted almond cardamom croissant which was ok, kind of too sweet for me.
google avatar

Yelp
A little add on bonus attached to Weights+Measures in midtown, the name says everything. Only croissants and drip coffee served here. They come in a couple different flavors and presentations, it's just dependent on what they have fresh at the moment. I really enjoyed the texture and fluffiness of their croissant dough, flaky exterior that's hiding the pillowy soft insides. The girls working were super kind and offered to warm it up and bring it out to our seats. There's very limited seating (like 2 tables) so most likely you're coming in for a to-go order or just a quick bite and dip.

Yelp
I LOVE Love Croissants and have had their croissants at other local coffee shops in Houston before, such as Un Caffe and the Fifth Vessel, but they would always sell out on certain days. Now that they have their own brick and mortar location, I am super elated and happy for them (and for my belly). All their croissants are a hit, and they are the best croissants I ever had in America ever! Their croissants are very large and can definitely be shared, but I am guilty of eating it all in one seating (in five minutes max). The chocolate croissant is super crispy on top with just the right amount of chocolate filling. The almond is not too sweet and the filling is not overwhelming, as well. My absolute favorite is the blueberry meringue croissant. It is DELICIOUS. If you had to choose one croissant to eat and only one, this has to be the top choice. The blueberry and meringue on top along with a thin layer of key lime custard in the center blends perfectly together with crispiness and flakiness of the croissant crust. Not only are their croissants absolutely delicious, but the workers are super friendly and gave me a free cinnamon stick for buying three croissants. Overall, Love Croissants has quickly grown to be my favorite place to get croissants, and it is a must try!

Yelp
I debated and debated. I really want to love it. But it's not there yet. I got to meet with Omar, who is one of the owners. He has an extensive background in culinary, started young. This is his passion project ! This is nested in Midtown, at Weights and Measure. So cool because they've got their own corners to bake and to display. Parking is comfortable, at my time of arrival (morning weekday). Also, upon entrance, it's the usual smell of bread which I enjoy. They offer a nice line up of viennoiseries : sweet like croissant, pain au chocolat ; savory like turkey goat cheese. They also basic coffee and teas. See photo. I'm really bothered with the quality of their baking. It's look perrrrfect on the outside. Round, puffed, shiny, layered, caramelized look. It's giving you great expectations! But .. am I so disappointed 0.2 sec after my first bite. Let's go through the five senses : You'll see the beauty of this pastry You'll smell the sweetness. You'll hear the crunchy sound and bite You'll bite through several layers of flakiness You'll feel so content.... Until not. Instead: Taste was fine but shortly lived. You'll see a pastry filled with air, two bars of chocolate looking so alone in the middle of a puffed bubble I felt very disappointed due to its hype and new local business. Additionally, it cost $8 for one ! It's way more expensive than one in NYC ! The quality did not meet the value it's asking for. I'm really asking for an improvement of this pastry. The baking method is an art which is not simple to master it. Its best feature isn't only the look but the taste too. Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it ...just yet. Hoping for better outcomes soon!

Yelp
It has taken me a long while to post this, but I am on a mission to find the best croissants and I love croissants so this bakery is aptly named. My bestie and I like to go on food adventures and she knows the croissant mission is my fav. So on a Sunday morning we started on our adventure to Love Croissants. We got there around 9 AM and quite frankly we thought it would be crowded, but surprisingly pretty empty except for a small group. We really got there at a good time. Now, I did some recon before we went and my favorite croissant is the almond, I wasn't too keen on this one because it has cardamom and I am not a fan, it just doesn't taste right to me. The nice lady at the register assured us that it was subtle. No matter, I bought a plain and the berry key lime tart. I will just say, both were baked to perfection. The plain croissant was large, flaky and airy and just wonderful and the berry key lime was visually stunning, the photos do not lie and it was absolutely divine. My bestie actually tried the almond croissant with the hint of cardamom and gave me a taste and I was pleasantly surprised and found it so tasty and it did not have an overbearing cardamom taste. Now, the croissants are not cheap, they run on the expensive side, BUT, I have no issue paying for quality. This is a small bakery and it's evident they take pride in their products. The berry key lime tart was $10, the plain was $6 and the almond $9. So if you are on a budget this would definitely be an occasional treat. To date, this is the best croissant I have tried in terms of taste, appearance and quality. The place is small and the parking lot is not huge so I would assume during peak hours it may be packed. We went at a great time, the weather was pleasant and we got to sit outside and enjoy. I highly recommend.

Yelp
Found this place on accident and its one of the best accidents I have come across. I was amazed that their breakfast croissant options were pork-free! (I have to come back and try) . I had the chocolate crossiant and it was large and flaky and delicious. I am excited to come back and try

Yelp
3.5 Stars I was super super excited to try Love Croissants after reading an article about it on Houston Eater. The store shares space with Weights and Measures and includes just a counter for ordering (no dine-in space). As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by 6 fat croissants each propped on a pedestal on the counter with short descriptions of what each croissant is. On the left are a butter croissant, pan Au chocolate, and twice baked almonds. On the right are the savory croissants including smoked ham Asiago, Turkey goat cheese, and beef sausage cheddar. I loved that they used the actual croissants to tell you what offerings they had for the day. I wonder what they do with these croissants at the end? After some internal upheaval trying to decide which ones to try, my husband picked the pan Au chocolate and I picked the beef sausage and cheddar. The man behind the counter boxed our croissants and we were all set. I also appreciated that they had perfect fitted boxes for our two croissants so that you weren't worried the croissants could topple over on your drive home. They definitely paid attention to the details. Before we even drove off we sampled half of the beef sausage cheddar. The croissant bread was flaky, buttery, and delicious. Yummm! The only thing I didn't like as much was that the beef sausage had jalepenos in it (not a fan of jalepenos or spicy). I wished the guy had taken the time to mention that the beef sausage was spicy when I ordered because I would have gone with the smoked ham instead. Oh well. But it wasn't ultra spicy so I could still handle it. Once we got home I decided to cut the pan Au chocolate in half for some photos before we dug in. I was shocked! About 2/3 of the croissant was hollow (see photo below). The pan Au chocolate was delicious, don't get me wrong, and the chocolate filling oozed out as you bit into it...but I felt a little cheated as I felt I only got less than half a croissant. What happened to the rest? I don't recall ever having a croissant with such a hollow interior! Not sure if this was done intentionally as it definitely makes the croissant appear large and puffy on the exterior, but what a bummer! I did love the taste of their croissants though, but not sure I'll be coming back anytime soon, especially since the croissants are pricey.

Yelp
Cute croissant shop in midtown. I enjoyed the Christmas shaped croissant with the sugar cookie Star. The croissant I had was flaky but not warm because it had been sitting out there. I wish they had some options with eggs for breakfast food and kept the croissants warm. Unfortunately, their coffee (latte and americano) were both awful. Skip the coffee, and stick to the croissants.

Yelp
Finally found a place that sells croissants using French butter!! Love Croissants kinda shares a space with Weights + Measures. Upon opening the door, the aromatic smell of croissants whetted my appetite. I had the Butter Croissant, Pain Au Chocolat, Toasted Almond & Cardamom, and Blueberry and Lime Tart. I thoroughly enjoyed all the croissants. They were flaky, and rich in flavor. Super duper delicious! My favorite has to be the Toasted Almond & Cardamom. Sweet and savory on a plate. Yummy! Tear the croissant into half, and the beautiful layers show the amazing technique behind making the croissant. The owner and staff were very friendly. There are only two tables for you to enjoy your croissants. So it would be best to get the croissants to-go. I would definitely come back to Love Croissants for my croissant craving!

Yelp
Every croissant I tried here was amazing. Perfectly crispy and flaky on the outside and moist on the inside with amazing flavors packed. I highly recommend their savory flavors! The service is amazing too - cashier was super friendly and was patient with our questions.

Yelp
I ordered delivery from here o was pleasantly surprised! The delivery was fast and the item looked just as it was pictured online. The croissant was so flaky and buttery. It had so much meat and cheese on the inside. Very delicious! I will definitely be going in person and trying different items.
