Google
Such a great find! Carefully curated food, cocktails, atmosphere… all the bells ringing here. Even the bathroom was super cool. Can’t wait to go back!

Google
We enjoyed the atmosphere at Love Song, and their happy hour was fantastic! Miller Light beers for just $3. As an appetizer, we ordered the marinated anchovies and olives, which were delicious!! We also tried the cod fritters and little neck clams, and the chicken. Everything was very tasty, though the portions were not very large. Keep in mind that the dishes vary by season. For dessert, we had a delicious cheesecake. Very good option for a casual happy hour, or a dinner with a partner or group of friends.

Google
Everything was wonderful! We ordered the fish dip, fritters as apps! Ordered Gnudi, and Mackerel for entrée. Amazing! Save room for dessert! Both the chocolate mousse and the cake were fantastic!! Will go again!

Paulina

Google
The food was amazing! We ordered duck and fish, and both were cooked to perfection. Their drinks were top notch. Highly recommending this place!

It’s been an extremely long time since I visited a restaurant that knocked me off my feet. Love Song is innovative and trail blazing with their unique menu options and overall flare. We ordered the Fritters, Littleneck clams, Gnudi, and both the olive oil cake and roasted peaches with vanilla custard. Plates are shareable which gives the dining experience a comforting and familial dynamic. Visit this gem with an open mind because the menu changes often, that’s part of the charm! They focus on local ingredients which influences the ever changing menu options. The complex flavor profiles, presentation, high quality ingredients, and charming atmosphere made it well worth the visit. Highly recommend!!!

Google
Excellent little restaurant! Small but high-quality menu - chorizo and cheese plates very nice, fantastic panzanella, fun and strong cocktails, savory and perfectly-prepared duck, and delicious desserts - poached peaches outstanding, and olive oil cake an absolute must-try! Fast and attentive service - extra credit for running after us with our box of leftovers we left at the table!

Google
One of the best meals I’ve ever had. I had the half chicken with polenta and greens. Every flavor profile meshed perfectly well together. Also tried some of my friends’ mushroom tartine. Not a big fan of mushrooms, so I was surprised on how much I enjoyed that as well! The cod fritters were 10/10, olive oil cake was 10/10. No complaints about anything!! Also good vibes and music!

Valerie Justine Astorga

Google
Such a unique place! The food was so good, they had vegetarian and gluten free options! And all gender rest rooms ♥️ The atmosphere was nice and music was great!

Yelp
One of my top spots in Virginia Beach, even in Hampton Roads. Food is always fantastic and high quality. They have really great, underrated happy hour, as well. Service is welcoming and efficient, cocktails are good and I love the atmosphere. Get the duck, the cod fritters and definitely the beef tartare if they have it!

Skye B.

Yelp
Absolutely love Love Song! The drinks are fantastic, and it's my go-to spot on Friday and Saturday nights for a laid-back bar vibe. I especially enjoy when they host events, like the vintage pop-ups from Moon and Skye Co.--always a blast and such a fun experience! You really can't beat this place for happy hour. The staff is incredibly kind and consistently amazing. 10/10 every time

Yelp
Super warm greeting when we entered and it is much larger inside than I expected. We were easily sat at a nice table off the bar and reviewed the limited menu. Loads of drinks and a huge wine list - but food options are short. I like that our server said the food changes out often bc they try to only use what they can locally source. My diet is somewhat limited right now and I can't eat raw fish or fish eggs and limiting mercury and such so most of the fish, duck, etc. dishes weren't for me. I didn't see a salad aside from a beet salad and I hate beets. So we went with a toast, cheese and peach jam option and a few drinks as apps before we went on with our night somewhere else. I, a non-drinker for my entire life, saw a limited non-alcoholic menu but appreciated the effort to include two mocktails and NA options. I decided to go with a grapefruit, cinnamon agave, and lime soda drink and it was STELLAR. Not too sweet, minimal carbonation, loved the grapefruit and cinnamon - probably the best mocktail I've had in a while. In the end, we loved it and will be back again to try entrees. Service was excellent and they were pretty busy on a Wednesday at around 7pm. We saw the back room where they feature parties and special events and were equally as impressed by that. A small gem in the area for sure.

Yelp
This was such a cute and delicious find! They had a great happy hour and everything on the menu sounded great! We settled on the conch fritters, mushroom toast, and cabbage salad. The flavors were outstanding in everything. I definitely want to recreate the cabbage salad at home. The mushroom toast was my favorite. So unique and tasty! I would highly recommend this spot!

Ashley S.

Yelp
Let me start by saying there was a review about the mushroom tartine that said they think about the dish often and after having the dish last night, I will undoubtedly be thinking about it on the regular. So freaking good. Like, out of this world, make you do a dance in your chair good. We also had the rockfish. The broth was amazing and we had some bread that came with the smoked fish dip left over so we dipped that in there at the suggestion of our server. Amazing suggestion. The restaurant has a homey and cozy cool atmosphere and the staff and playlist is top tier. Seriously though, get the mushroom tartine. You will not regret it.

Kerri L.

Yelp
This charming wine bar is tucked away in an ordinary looking strip mall of sorts on a busy street, perfectly hidden from tourists (unless they are Yelpers lol). The menu offers a tasty mix of reasonably priced food and drinks. Our bartender, Morgan, chatted with us and kindly offered me a sample of a drink before I ordered.

Ian M.

Yelp
I met a friend up here for cocktails and some light eats. The place was very comfortable and the servers were all sweet as pie. I mean it. They were absolutely awesome, friendly and quick to perceive what you needed before you even had to ask. They were full of smiles and laughs and made the evening all the better! After a few cocktails, food sounded good again (I had a late lunch earlier) and there were some sashimi options on the pop-up stand in the back of the rear bar. The hallway is open between the main restaurant/ bar and the rear one. It wasn't clear if it was all the same place or two different ones, but regardless, we were told it was okay to get take out from there and bring it back to our place at the bar. The Love Song kitchen and menu boasted some nice choices as well and I plan to come back hungry next time and try some more. On this occasion I just had to try the pictured Olive Oil cake. There was no picture to accompany the description and it sounded non-dessertish to me but I went for it anyway based off the server raving about it being the best ever, etc. etc. It was a fantastic dessert that I'd order again but feel it's a rare find as I eat out all the time and have NEVER seen this offered anywhere else. In any case, come here with a date, come here with friends. It's a nice quiet and intimate place a couple of blocks off the beach. I hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

Esha R.

Yelp
This is hands-down one of the most hidden gems of Virginia Beach. It's a super small location on a tiny strip right next to the beach. Parking is a little bit hard to get because it's only street parking so I did have to go around the block a few times but once I found parking it was definitely worth it. Walking in it felt very welcoming and I loved the lights and colors of the restaurant as well as the open kitchen set up. If you're comfortable with sharing a table they have communal tables and seats at the bar but you can also choose to wait at their dive bar at the back of the restaurant for a table to be open, which is what I decided to do. The dive bar was also super cute and a great waiting area to grab a few drinks. once we got a table, the waitress was very welcoming and the menu was awesome because there were a lot of options for vegetarians, as well as non-vegetarians, because I was with a friend that was vegetarian, we decide to get everything that had no meat and thing in its own way. also, I just want to say that the drinks were amazing as someone that doesn't have alcohol. I really appreciate it that they're mocktails were so delicious and they actually had choices for me. We started with the cheese and olives, and I really liked that. Everything was shareable during the experience. after that we got a mushroom toast and it was phenomenal. The crunch of the bread with the warm seasoned and sautéed mushrooms were divine after that we had a soup and it was so nice that the waitress ahead of time got a separate bowl so that we could share the soup. I do wish that the portion size for the soup was a little bigger since there were four of us sharing, but it was definitely perfect for the cold weather. We also got a salad that was very unique with beets and mint and devoured that. Our last entrée was a gnudi and that was also super delicious with the sauce they made for it. definitely be coming back to try other things based on the season for their menu. we definitely couldn't leave without getting desserts of course so we got the banana pudding cake as well as the olive oil cake and I really enjoyed both especially the olive oil cake because the last place I tried it did not have a good ratio and I haven't had an olive oil cake in over a year but this place definitely did a very good job and I love olive oil cake again so thank you. Highly recommend everyone go try this at least once !

Yelp
The ambiance of this place reminds me of a NY wine bar. Very cute place and it was within walking distance of our hotel which was nice. Barkeep was nice but not very talkative. Quick service though! We sat at the bar and was around for happy hour. The drinks were pretty good. My hubby's food was the bomb. He got cod bites. I ended up getting olives just to have a little snack and I tricked myself because I felt like I overpaid but I am the one that ordered it! I should have known haha. I think this place is on the right track but needs a little more refinement! They got to develop their drink menu more. And have a few other things to eat. We would go back though!

Carla L.

Yelp
Love Song...do we LOVE you? Yes we do! We recently had hubbies sister and her husband join us. It was odd. My sister-in-law that was laid off a job she worked for 10 plus years, found herself cut from the job. She found another quickly, yet hadn't gotten time off. Her husband and my husband are identical personality wise. And their jokes are over my head often. So I take it upon myself to entertain them for 3 days. I suggested a bar for them to go to, I suggested to hubby that he then to. It was a hit!! I suggested Love Song for dinner. It was a massive hit! They know awesome restaurants from where they live yet live close enough to NYC.

Kim H.

Yelp
Food was great! Cozy atmosphere, Wine suggestion from waitress was perfect. I can't wait to go back!

Allison N.

Yelp
Love song is by far the best new American style restaurant in VB. Love this vibe of this place, whether you are in the dining room or grabbing drinks at the back bar. Well worth the drive from anywhere in Hampton roads to dine here.

Genoa D.

Yelp
I've had my eye on Love Song for quite awhile and I am so happy I made it there for my birthday. We were seated immediately at a cute table against the wall. I was immediately in love with the vibe. Our server was knowledgeable and cheery, we really enjoyed her service. I started the evening with an "Everything's Fine" Cocktail. Let me tell you...that was a well made drink. Well balanced with a complexity that stays with you after every sip. Amazing! To share, my Fiancé and I ordered the Cod Fritters. MMM MMM MMM. Hella good. Battered and fried to perfection, the cod literally tasted heavenly. I ordered the NY Strip with potatoes & kale. Yes Love Song, sing it to me, that steak was amazing. Nye' ordered the clams and although she didn't love them, she reports that the dish was great, just not for her. I love LOVE SONG. I will be back very soon!

Trish K.

Yelp
Best place to eat in VB- hands down. QUITE a gem. I like how you can sit at a counter or table. food portions are small enough that you can not fill up on one plate. there is plenty of room for more!! Other nice feature, rotating dishes which go with what they can find fresh and seasonal!! Killer wine selection. Go to the back and get a bottle of wine to enjoy at your table. I really like how all the servers take care of you. DEF think ADULTS ONLY. date night, girls night. ADULT. no reservations so come and enjoy. some vegetarian options along with meats! Dessert isn't to be missed. Plan to go back when I'm kid free!!

Christopher G.

Yelp
Absolute favorite for my wife and I, we have been going since for some time now (approximately 30 visits) and the level of service and quality of food is exceptionally consistent. The chefs are top notch, making food that is locally sourced and absolutely delicious. The wines they carry are unique and complete the experience. Culinarily this place has opened my eyes to products and food combinations I wouldn't have typically tried. Its an absolute gem. We've never had a bad experience here... If you ever get the opportunity... treat yourself and drop on by... you will not regret it!

Patricia B.

Yelp
Came for dinner and caught the tail end of happy hour (just before 7pm on a Sunday). I happily ordered a $7 glass of wine while deciding on my meal. I decided on the scallop chowder and the mushroom tartine per the suggestion of two different staff members. The scallop chowder was fantastic. Full of scallops! The tartine was nice but it was a lot for one person after also having the soup. Definitely want to come back with more people to try more items.

Katie C.

Yelp
Oh MY gosh.. if you haven't been to Love Song whether you're living or visiting Hampton Roads.. do yourself a favor and go here. The food is fun, modern, locally sourced, bright, vibrant, delicious, I could go on and on. I come here every time I'm in the area and I love sitting at the bar and watching the magic unfold. Each dish that I have takes me hostage to an ethereal world and my heart sings of joy. So much so that I feel inclined to write a song or a poem about my food. I'll update with that later. :)

Michael M.

Yelp
You'd be hard pressed to find a place with food this incredible in as comfortable and warm an atmosphere. Creative, intelligent, unique menu design with new dishes regularly. Service is excellent warm and inviting, very helpful and knowledgeable, making anyone feel like family from the second you walk in. If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out!

Darryl J.

Yelp
Decided to do some wine tasting after dinner and stumbled upon this spot. What a great surprise! We enjoyed the beautiful evening in the front patio. The server was knowledgeable, friendly and made wonderful suggestions that were spot on. Had the tasty olive oil cake which was amazing. Can't wait to return for dinner. Truly a wonderful experience.

Meghan T.

Yelp
Such a great restaurant with delicious small plates to share. We sat at the bar and watched the chefs do their thing. Loved the mussels, cod fritters, and a take on a banana creme pie that I still think about.

Allison K.

Yelp
Delicious food, drinks, and clean atmosphere. Kailyan is phenomenal and very knowledgeable about wine. The rose is delicious.

Tina D.

Yelp
Amazing food and service! This was an ideal restaurant to meet friends for dinner. I love the location and had a wonderful experience.

Aneel C.

Yelp
Excellent local spot. Felt like I was back home in the SF Bay. Great cocktails, great food, great people.

Rex R.

Yelp
Awesome place to eat dinner. Came up here on a Friday night for dinner and it did not disappoint. The food and cocktails came out in a timely manner, the server was very nice, and the whole restaurant just had an incredible vibe. Definitely come out here for date night or just a night out with the buds. Oh, and the dessert was phenomenal!

Keri R.

Yelp
Food A, ambiance B+, service B- Very surprised we hadn't found this restaurant before as we are always looking for great food. Ordered multiple dishes including the mushroom tartine (delicious), Gnudi (great)... and more. Bring a personal fan it's super hot in the restaurant. We did ask them to turn the air on but it made no difference. Very cool vibe, great music. Service was very spotty and inattentive. We were brought the wrong dishes twice. The food was so good we will definitely try again another time.

Patti S S.

Yelp
I've been looking forward to trying this place. I was very underwhelmed ! A side of average bread is $8 and we asked for olive oil $3! Ridiculous. We got more bread (not knowing bread cost $8) so between bread and olive oil that was an extra $22 on the bill for 2 people. Ridiculous really for average bread. The gnudi was my favorite but 4 of them? Very small for the price. I get small plates but if you need to order 3 each it turns into a super expensive dinner for appetizers. So not impressed. Disappointed because I'm an out of towner who was in town for a business trip and have read all the great reviews. An indication is we walked in at 7:15pm on a Friday night and got a table no problem. It's a small place so if it was all those 5-star reviews people posted don't you think prime time on a Friday would be more than 4-5 tables filled ? That is very telling. Nothing would make me want to go back to dine here again.

Ian H.

Yelp
On a Saturday evening, a picnic table setting was all that was available. After ordering, we waited over an hour to receive our food, which was frustrating. During that time we were left unattended and had to wave down our waiter just to get more water. Watching people who ordered after us, eat before us didn't settle well. To finally be served an over cooked Cobia dish that was dry to the core, a duck breast that literally tasted like bad meat, I was really disappointed. The clam dish was ok but nothing to brag about. The fancy plating and decor could not help how unpleasant the food tasted. The crowd was very diverse. Lots of conversations in the air. More appropriate for adults than children as my 12 year old learned a lot that evening. The focus seemed to be more on the alcohol sales than the service or food. I don't see how anyone could love this place. I must have came on the wrong day. But I doubt I will ever go back.

Emily O.

Yelp
Wowwwwww!! Two big thumbs, toes, and elbows up to LoveSong (yeah, a weird mental image, I guess). While working, I was given a *sort of* random recommendation by a friend to be a guinea pig for a new restaurant down at the Oceanfront for her. My wife and I live down near the beach and are constantly looking for a new place to add to our repertoire. At one point, we were bonkers crazy for Eurasia --but then they remodeled and, for some reason, the passion behind the food wasn't there along with the old decor. Then, eat. an american bistro --but that was inconsistent, heavy, and repetitive. Aldo's because an unimaginative commonplace version of Olive Garden to us. But thennnnnn, we walked into LoveSong. I'm not even lying for a fraction of a second when I say that this is THE best restaurant in Virginia Beach. My wife and I love doing tasting menus with Chef Zach Close at Glass Light in Norfolk --this rivals it easily. If there was a restaurant in Virginia Beach to receive a Michelin star... LoveSong would be it. Yes, I said it. Not Terrapin. LoveSong. Everything there is an absolute dream: from the creative and evolving cocktail menu all the way down to the homemade jam on their cheeseboard (the jam is SO good that I could eat it by the gallon and I don't even like jam/jelly). The service is top notch, the camaraderie amongst the staff is infectious. It is impossible not to be in a good mood here. Three items on the menu worth noting: * The Mushroom Toast - Do NOT leave here without getting the mushroom toast. The flavors are layered, complex, and rich. Think mushrooms on bread but add Asian elements with bold pops of creamy, flavorful goodness. Even as a mushroom "fence sitter" (mushrooms can be a pretty divisive ingredient, either you love them or hate them), this dish takes the cake for me. Visually stunning and a "party" in your mouth with so much lush depth of flavor. * The Gnudi - Delicious, homemade, cheesy pillow-y goodness. So fluffy. So amazing. So perfect. Tossed in a house made pesto and sprinkled lovingly with Parmesan cheese (and a dash of dried peppers on top for a surprising, little bite). Get it before/after the mushroom toast. Again, get the freaking mushroom toast (sorry, I keep getting side tracked... did I not mention THE. MUSHROOM. TOAST.?!). * THE DUCK - Seriously. Don't sleep on the duck. I don't even like duck. And I waited until my fourth visit here (yeah, because I'm like Tyrone Biggums about that mushroom toast --can't stay away, so, YES, four visits within probably two weeks) to try it. The duck is SO SO SO good. Just get the duck. See? I've planned out your entire dinner already. Go there, get these three things (throw in the cheeseboard and the cake dessert, jack that check up so that way they stay in business forever. I'm serious... don't ruin this for me and the residents of Virginia Beach with halfway decent palates). Five stars. Two thumbs up. All of that good stuff because this place is IT. Bravo, LoveSong!

M K.

Yelp
The food menu, the space and the lack of reservations are all very limiting. The wine is solid and prices reasonable but it is not a "wine bar" -- they have like 2 or 3 red wines. The food we did have was great. The olive oil cake is amazing. It's an unusual concept but I think it works.

William M.

Yelp
One of the finest dining establishments in the USA. What could benefit them is a new space that's less casual and more polished - but really... what they're doing right now is fantastic and should be enough to grow a regular crowd. Certainly a must-go when in Virginia Beach. We went twice while in town.

Doug A.

Yelp
Amazing experience. Incredible food and great service. Definitely sit at the bar and watch the chef if you get a chance.

Lyn D.

Yelp
We were lucky enough to have dinner at this amazing restaurant last weekend. The small plate portions of a wide variety of interesting foods were perfect to share. Beautifully presented and delicious! The staff could not have been more attentive, professional, and friendly. Lovely setting with indoor and outdoor dining options. Wish we lived closer so we could enjoy this restaurant more often. This is a must do place to go if you're in Virginia Beach!

Shaina M.

Yelp
A gem. Can't say enough great things about this place. The ambiance was intimate, while also carefree and relaxed. Our server was so kind and helpful with suggesting drinks and food. The FOOD, was STUNNING, and absolutely delicious. I wish I lived closer, I would go everyday just for the bread with sweet jam/cheese, the tangy anchovies with olives, the delicious mussels, the stunning mushroom tartine (not pictured but a MUST HAVE). Even though the food is tapas style they really fill you up - the flavors are amazing and hearty. 4-5 apps is good between two people. Already planning my return so I can try more menu items! Thank you Love Song team!!

Laurie G.

Yelp
Good wine good food great service. Wish those clams came with pasta. Bread is wonderful.

jennifer p.

Yelp
Discovered this place after bar hopping from The Atlantic. Good vibes. Very chill. My friends and I hung out at the bar and a drink. We didn't get a chance to try their food or check out their dining area. Would come back again.

Jamie C.

Yelp
Really great food! Service was awesome. Definitely weird that you have to pay a $10 corking fee on wine bottles you buy in the establishment.

E S.

Yelp
Dear puppy in a wheat field, this place is so good. Every dish has a lot of bright acidity, but not overly so. And a lot of creaminess, but is never heavy. My friend and I left very full but didn't feel like we over did it, and were buoyed by some excellent just complex enough wine. Every bite was both inventive and yet so well balanced. I'm a visitor to this land but it seems like a really exceptional place in Virginia Beach.

Stephanie H.

Yelp
The mushroom tartine. I think about this dish often. I've tried to recreate it on my own but it's just not possible. Love the hospitality and creativeness at Love Song.

Belle A.

Yelp
Great repertoire of tapas that caters to vegans and pescatarians alike! Even if you're neither one, you wouldn't care because the array of fare is fantastic!! I eat EVERYTHING, so I didn't even realize any of the food had literally NO meat, but that's because the flavors and textures were so wonderfully delicious, who cared?!?! Props to the chef who whipped up a great variety to tantalize any discriminating palate! I went with some friends, who caught me as I was just getting home from work and asked to have dinner with them at this new place, literally across from their home. The name of this restaurant gives us a hint as to why we should partake in its offerings! The fare it serves is truly a "Love Song" to food and how we connect with it in a social and familial way! It is the comfort food embraces us in a universal love song of joy, happiness, and celebrating the kindness and togetherness we all feel when we connect over dinner! We ordered the Fritters, Radicchio Caesar Salad, Gnudi,& the Mushroom Tartine...quite a bit! But one bite into each of these and you feel like you've entered nirvana on a whole new level... but don't take my word for it! The truth is in the taste, so indulge yourself! Honestly, I was a bit skeptical when I first looked at the menu and did NOT see any meat, because who doesn't love a good steak?! But after one bite of each dish, I was hooked, lined and sunk! I even actually entertained the thought of becoming vegetarian...briefly! But wow! This little place packs a punch with flavor and puts a spin on vegetarian fare to win over the most die-hard carnivore! And if you think the dinners are outstanding, wait till you get to dessert!! I know it sounds weird, but the Olive Oil Cake with buttermilk whipped cream will blow your mind!! It and the Chocolate Semifreddo were absolutely decadent!!! The service is impeccable from the friendly smiling staff to the artistic and culinary genius, all while dining in an intimate and cozy atmosphere! It's nothing less than a winning combination for a great night out with friends! If you couldn't tell... I HIGHLY recommend this place !!!

Emily S.

Yelp
The atmosphere is nice, but not nice enough for the pricing. Atmosphere says upscale-hipster, not high end, but its menu says they're aiming higher. For what you're spending, I'd want the atmosphere to match. I don't necessarily want to sit on a picnic table for this expensive of a meal. In general, I thought it was WAY overpriced. This is probably the most overpriced restaurant (again, especially for the vibe) I've been to in this area. I know they're small plates, but they're about 1/3 the size of a normal entree for $17+, so it's about $50 to MAYBE walk away full, and that's if you can even find 3 things on the menu that you like. I could only find 2. (And their website isn't working to see the menu or we never would've gone. I'm thinking that might be intentional after seeing the menu/prices!) The menu is tiny, and not much to offer unless you're very, very adventurous with food. I do not consider myself to be a picky eater at all, but this is one of those places where you won't know half of what's on the menu. I found 2 things that were good, but not great enough to want to keep ordering more. Wouldn't visit again!

Ann K.

Yelp
Great local vibe in the best location with consistent good coffee! Menu looks delicious- vegetarian too!

Lauren S.

Yelp
Every last bite was amazing! So delicious and the service was excellent! We live in NYC and kept saying that if this place was in the city it would be mobbed and extremely popular. Will definitely come back the next time we're in town to visit family.

Priscilla L.

Yelp
Delicious unique and one of a kind wines, knowledgeable and hospitable staff. Tasty tapas!

Priscilla S.

Yelp
The service, the food and the wine were outstanding!! The atmosphere is lively yet very relaxed. This was my first time dining at Love Song and the place came highly recommended by a friend! An overall great experience!

Leilani H.

Yelp
Amazing food and service. Duck, Gnudi and Mushroom tartine were so good!! Bridgette is a passionate sommelier with great recommendations. This place is a true gem!!

Heather B.

Yelp
Food, wine and service always five star plus unlike any other experience in Hampton roads.

Erik R.

Yelp
So many things went wrong with the service, the staging and the meal it's hard to imagine that this place is opened right now. We had almost the whole menu tonight and a few dishes were good, not great. For example, the Mushroom Tartine, tomato salad and the little necks good, but not good enough to bring this family back. The Gnudi was not, the duck was meh, the squid was sandy (yep), and squash was overly minty. The red wine was brought out in a bucket of ice super weird, staff couldn't answer simple questions about the meal, bowls used where plates should have been used for serving and plates where bowls should have been used. Spoons served to eat squid. I felt like we were eating at a soft opening and unfortunately for them they had way too much to learn and weren't ready to open. The menu changing every night for even the most experienced restaurants staff is difficult but these poor kids were out of there league. Chef should focus on a consistent menu for a while and get the staff up to the potential quality of the food. This place has potential but I can't recommend it at this time give them about 6 months if they make it that long. I really want this place to succeed because I want to come back when they have it all worked out because I believe they will knock my socks off, but not tonight, not even close!

Nadia K.

Yelp
It was good, well executed dishes, flavors were good but I was expecting something completely different. I know these flavors and it pairs well but I just wanted it to be knock my socks off flavors that I've never had before.

Betsy B.

Yelp
We went here for the first time on Mother's Day. We were impressed right away.. the staff is very friendly. The cocktails were delicious. The six of us ordered many different dishes and they were all amazing. These folks know what they're doing! The restaurant is small and cozy and the food is wonderful! We'll be back!
