Just go to the other store. I always stop here first, since it's a bit closer to me and not as busy. But more than half the time I end up going to their competitor down the road. It doesn't matter if it says they have thirty online, they won't be in the bin labeled for them. Instead it will be a sampling of every other item across the department. Employees will just look in the bin filled with everything but what's supposed to be there and go "oh. I guess we don't have any." and put all the random crap back in there and walk off. Save yourself the time, go to the other store. There's a reason it's busier.

I recently purchased a new GE top loader washer that I ordered online. I picked up the washer from the Conroe location, but I wasn't able to install in my home until a week later. The woman that brought it out to me never mention I had 48 hrs to install and if need be, I could return before the 48hrs expired. Anyway I finally had a chance to install in my home a week after I picked up. I used it 24hrs and wanted to return for in store credit. The washer was a terrible choice and didn't clean my family's clothes. I went in the following evening after work and looked at a upgraded model and decided I purchase that one. I was in complete shock when Dustin or Justin the "appliance manager" denied my request. I explained to him I'm not trying to get a refund just a store credit so that I could apply credit to the new upgraded washer. I am veteran owned contractor who spends several thousands of dollars a year at this location. I would've thought Justin/Dustin would see from a business prospective that a store credit wasn't too big of a deal. A store credit of $600 washer and purchased a upgraded $1100 washer. The store would still be making money, not to mention a loyal customer would have been happy. I wasn't asking for much, I was just asking for a fair business exchange. Maybe Dustin/Justin doesn't understand how business should be conducted with loyal customers.

Store is always super clean. Usually visit garden center and grab a few things for my dad. Do wish when I'm unsure or not quite positive I got what my dad was needing, that more salesman or employees were around to ask for assistance. I do always get my questions answered at cashier though. Been going to Conroe store almost since it opened and haven't had 1 bad incident with anything

Went in to swap out a Blue mini kobalt tool box that my daughter received as a gift - the person didn’t know that my 7 year old would’ve preferred the pink tool box over a blue. We unfortunately didn’t have a receipt as it was a gift. Apparently Lowe’s has changed their policy of zero exchanges or store credit without a receipt. Instead of a manager authorizing a $20 store credit or even letting us just swap out the color, we were met with “sorry, that’s the policy. No exceptions” We spend a ton of money doing our home improvements here and buying our garden supplies. And even though it’s much closer to our house, we will be taking our business over to Home Depot.. just for the fact that HD would be happy to allow an exchange over such a trivial amount. Customer service escapes the employees. There were two lovely floor associates who tried their best to give a great experience and be sympathetic. But the higher ups and “customer service supervisor” were worthless. Lowe’s has gone down hill and customer service has escaped management. All this over a stupid $20 mini tool box. And heck.. I’d have bought a pink one if there was a single act of sympathy or empathy by upper management.. instead of an idgaf attitude.

Over the last 10 years, I’ve spent over $100,000 at Lowe’s. I will never go back to this Lowe’s location ever again. I went in to buy wood. This employee, named Teressa, who wasn’t even in uniform was extremely rude, and told me “her guys had more important things to do than assist me”. Lady, customer service is the most important duty to your “guys”. Absolutely awful experience.

Everything you want and need to accomplish any project you have in mind or come up with while browsing through the store. I don't know why I even bothered going to Home Depot just before going to Lowe's; I couldn't find anything I needed. Even when I found the isle where the things I was looking for they didn't have any "real" selection choices. No one at HD stopped to ask if I needed help. The moment I walked into Lowe's I was greeted. I must have been asked if I needed help by every Lowe's employee at every isle I walked down. I was even greeted and helped by a merchandiser in the mower isle and she helped me find the fuel line I was looking for. I will never go to any other home improvement retailer again. Thank you ALL at the Conroe Lowe's!!

I rarely leave a review, but this is a rare kudo to an awesome employee. We're traveling across TX and stayed tge night in Conroe just as the extreme cold hit 2 nights ago. As temps hit the 20s we ran out of propane in the evening. Stopped by Walmart and they were sold out 9f propane bottles. Went by Lowes at 1030 and they were closed. I stopped in front of the front door and walked up to the door and a guy inside waved and noted they were closed. I asked through the door if the propane service was automated (like Walmart across the street) and he said no, I'd have to come back tomorrow. I noted I was traveling in our RV and had no heat, which he said was unfortunate. I agreed and went back and got in my truck. As I was driving off he opened the door and waved me down. He said he would take care of me and had me cone inside, where he signed in to one of them registers and sold me two full bottles, then went outside and helped me load them up in the truck. I thanked him and noted I'd be letting all know of his great service. Thanks Tim, I hope they promote you soon. Great customer service taking care of this old disabled combat vet.​

I ordered 13k of windows through Lowe's and it has been a nightmare!! Took 4 mos to get windows as they came in wrong a few times. installation team were animals Destroying my blinds and damage to drywall!! Do NOT use Lowe's for anything!

Still waiting after 50 minutes for my pick up order to be loaded. They keep telling me to come to the door to get it and I've been sitting at this door for 50 minutes. I just got off the phone with customer service who said they would be right out with my order but no, I'm still sitting here . This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I don't know why this store is still in business.

As I walked through this Lowes store on 242 the atmosphere seemed to be very hostile and uninviting. I walked into the store and a customer service counter person was sitting down on a stool of some sort. Her smile was uninviting and she looked exhausted. I then walked down different isles to not be greeted by any of the store personnel. I observed little to no cars in the parking area. I then spoke with a Mgr. about a situation and the look of agitation was overwhelming. I then parted ways with the now confirmed choice of never to return to this store again. I would hate to give their competitor the praise of making a customer feel more valued but here we are. I am a firm believer that a friendly hello and a "Hello how are you today?" would break the ice for most shoppers. Is this the reason AI will take over these jobs by next year??? We shall see.

My husband and I and another couple were waiting in the outdoor area where the air conditioner are located. I went and asked 3 different associates for help. No one came after 25 minutes. Everyone just standing around. Most of the check out machines were closed too.

Purchased a fence to be installed at our home. After paying nearly $17,000 the job was incomplete. The person who measured did a poor job and so the fence is nearly 20 short. In addition, this person miscounted the poles and so the job could not even be completed. None of the hardware for the fence ever showed up. The company had the audacity to send me and email stating the project was complete. I called my sales person who stated he was well aware the job was not complete but he needed to relief this 'do the installer and he can get paid'!!!! I called repeatedly and was advised by the sales person and installer that all was ordered and they would be back within 2 weeks. We are now a month out, I called customer care to find out that there were all lies. There was NO order placed and no documentation of project bring incomplete. I am now starting from scratch trying to get this project completed. We had 3 huge projects we were planning to use Lowe's gif - canceling all. My advice - go elsewhere... this team is unethical and unprofessional. I would never work with them again

Terrible customer service experience. My house key broke off in my front door lock (the kind where the Mr. Stabby part of the key breaks off and is wedged IN the lock real good and you get the crown part in your hand as you curse up a blue streak in Klingon) so I had to get the unbroken spare from my mom at her house and make a fresh copy once the broken key portion had been successfully extricated from the gaping maw of the lock. It is 2k18, why are we still using olde fashioned lock and key and where in the HECK is my flying car? Thanks Obama. The cashier was incredibly rude and sassy ringing up the purchase. He offered a considerable amount of unnecessary and unappreciated commentary. Lowe's apparently requires you to tie your driver's license to a in-store return credit, even when that is $5 and you are using less than half of that to buy a copy of a front door key. So you may encounter some or many difficulties besides the cashier's attitude. Cashiers have a way of doing their job without commentary; and then some go out of their way to make your check out experience as miserable as possible. Generally speaking the latter are the reason why sexy robots will replace them and all of their jobs within five years. There is no reason to visit this store when Home Depots are abundant nearby and offer considerably better customer service at the till until the sexy robots replace them in the stores and throughout the customer service industry. All hail our new sexy robot overlords - hopefully they are all named Sexy Julian.

Purchased a washer they couldn't deliver it when online said they would. So they said they would deliver it on the 4th of July. Waited all day and then they brought a damaged washer and refused to install. They told me I had to call the store. I spent over an hour being transfered back and forth between departments and they would just put me on hold say they can't find a manager then tell me to hold again. Them finally found one he answers and puts me on hold. Then leaves me on hold for 45 minutes and never answers. So I guess I paid 1,000 but don't get a washer unless I drive to the store and find a manager that will speak with me. This is the worst customer experience I have ever had. Happy 4th of July to me and my disabled veteran. We had to drive to the store and get Andrew the manager ended up helping us but we had to purchase another one and wait on reinforcement. What a crazy headache of a time. It was that or wait two more days.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. By far the worst Lowe's I have ever "worked" with.. We came in, ordered 2 pre-hung doors, and 108 bags of concrete and needed them delivered on Sunday for contractors that were going to be out on our property Monday morning. Time frame was 12-4pm for delivery. At 3:45 still nothing so we called. Someone on their end went into the system and changed our delivery date to Tuesday without even so much as a phone call to us. We spent an hour going back and forth until they finally confirmed they would come out first thing Monday morning. Monday morning rolled around and NOTHING!!!! They went in and changed our delivery AGAIN without notifying us! Our contractors needed the material and now we will get back charged. The bill is going to Lowe's!!!! Will absolutely never buy from any Lowe's again! Absolutely unacceptable service!

Worse store I have ever dealt with. Return craftsman tool set after 90 days and I was given store credit. Clerk never gave me store credit receipt. Once I realized I never got it, I was told they don't reissued and I'm out of luck. Called store manager, shift manager, national customer service and nothing. Truly they can car less. I had to take them to small claims court to get $120. Just sad

We went to look at their refrigerators and found two different ones we wanted. Both of the fridges they didn't have in stock. We spoke with the manager, David, who is extremely rude and very unprofessional. He told us there was nothing he could do or would do to help us. We ended up leaving that Lowe's and called the Lowe's on college park drive. They were able to get the refrigerator we wanted from there warehouse. David needs to not be a manager because Lowe's in Conroe has lost our business forever.

First, apparently Lowe's website is designed to make posting a review next to impossible! I've looked and looked and can't find where to post one. My complaint has more to do with after the sale customer service - I recently purchases the "Allen & Roth - 5 pc woven conversation set" at the Conroe Lowe's. One of the cushions was sown upside down - leaving the zipper and tag on top and visible. I called the number on the paper work that came with the set - I talked to a gal that gave me a Ref #. BTW.. the canned message before I finally got thru actually asked that, due to covid, I try to resolve any problems later!! When is later? Doesn't say when that might be, nor does it suggest other avenues, just says not right now folks (I assume hoping we'll forget and go away). Anyway, the person told me that the manufacturer would call me back within two business days to help me get a replacement. They did not call (that was mid August). I called again two weeks later - was told they were sorry their computers were down - but they took my number and promised to call me back the next day. That was on Sep 1st, this is the 17th - they still have not called. Each time I've called I've had to wait 45 min to an hour to talk to a representative - I believe I have done more than I should have had to do to get a replacement cushion! My advice - make sure what you've purchased is 100% okay before leaving the store - even if that means opening it in the parking lot - after purchase service is nonexistent. BTW... I gave 2 stars because I do like the set - just wish it didn't have the flaw.

I purchased a washer and dryer from Norman at Conroe Lowes on Sunday, 4/2, and he scheduled a delivery time of 4/3 after 1600. Later that evening, I received a call stating that my delivery time was between 0900-1300 on 4/3. I contacted Beatrice at scheduling, who said to tell the driver the next day to deliver after 1600 since there was a note. On 4/3, the driver contacted me and stated he was on his way, and I asked if he could please deliver after 1600; as stated on the ticket. He transferred me to dispatch, who said they could not deliver at the scheduled time. I was transferred to several people before a supervisor named Oz stated she would deliver my washer and dryer on 4/4 after 1600. On 4/4, the delivery driver called me to say he was on the way to my house at 1000. I explained the situation and was able to get reconnected with Oz, who stated she did not know what the mix-up was and that they were supposed to deliver after 1600. She said she would look into this and get back to me....it is now 6 hours later, and I have not been contacted. I contacted Nick at dispatch again, who stated he could not help or transfer me to a supervisor (he said he did not have the capability). I have just gotten off the phone with the corporate office, who states they see the open complaint and have forwarded it to a senior supervisor at Conroe to help better serve me. I still have not heard from any senior supervisor at Conroe Lowes. There is zero accountability for the service Lowe's provides. Conroe Lowes is quick to sell you a product and take your money but does not follow through with the delivery. Now to my other concern. I contacted customer service and spoke to Carmalita on 4/2, the most unprofessional individual I have ever had the pleasure of speaking to. I requested several times to speak to a supervisor because I was getting nowhere with her. She could not fix the situation, so why not transfer me to someone who could help? She repeatedly yelled at me and refused to connect me with a supervisor. We even got disconnected on a couple of occasions, and I am sure not by mistake. I feel sorry for anyone that has to deal with her personally. She needs retraining on professionalism and appropriately communicating when speaking to people. Finally, I talked to a very nice manager Andrew who stated he could not do anything but call back and speak to a manager in the morning. I have called back and have been transferred to Mack and Andy on several occasions, but neither one picked up the phone or returned my phone call. I am sure not all Lowes are this way. I have been to several fantastic Lowes but do not recommend the Conroe Lowes to anyone.

I'd give them 0 stars if Yelp would let me. This store lacks management so bad. Zero customer service! Spent $500 just now....bought a heavy vanity w/top and no help to load it. A nice stranger leaving the store offered to help my husband put it in the bed of our truck after we waited for a Lowe's employee to help that never came. What a shame this store has went downhill. Just employees that could care less about anything except when it's time to go home.

I previously had a 1 star review for this location due to the restrooms looking and smelling like outhouses early in the morning. However, due to the extremely friendly and "above and beyond" customer service we received when we came in to purchase a gas range...I have changed my review to reflect this. We received great care and attention from probably the most helpful and easily the friendliest employee we've encountered here to date...Bob. Whoever is over him should give him a raise. It's people like this that ensure repeat customers!

Day 35 without at washing machine . Lowe's Home Improvement you need to work on your customer service and the warranty you offer . Sorry for long post but people need to know that Lowe's doesn't honor their warranty and awful communication. July 31 - made a warranty ticket August 2 - 3rd party company came out ... he said mother board electric unit is out . Didn't tell me when he was going to order or if part was back order August 12 - go to Lowe's talk to manager and he gave me number 3rd party company August 15- finally get a answer from 3rd party company... part back order Started calling Lowe's warranty company and no one would answer Went back to Lowe's talk to assistant manager ... he got ahold of someone and said they would call me on Monday Monday came... lady called me ... said my back is back order till 8/18 ... I told her I know that and it's now 8/19 . Any news ? ... she said oh I guess I should have called the other company before calling you ... never heard back from her 8/29 - parts come in and they come to house ... BUT now the new mother board has burned the motor ... or he thinks ... haven't heard a word back . 8/29 ... call Lowe's warranty ... talk to them ... and then they hang up on me ... saying I'm going to just have to wait ... they don't want to hear how many days it is . 8/29 ... call Lowe's 5 times ... finally got ahold of the manager ... the manager said there is nothing he can do but he did write an email to Lowe's Warranty leadership team ... they are suppose to call me ... 9/2 - haven't heard a peep ! FYI... I am household of 4 and potty training a toddler . It's only a year and half old bought it before we moved into our new house .

0 would be better, but not an option. Worst store EVER! Waiting on vessel sinks that, 1. were never ordered. 2. When ordered were shipped to an address that was never provided to them. 3. Was promised I would be called when they arrived...never received a call. 4. Wait for it...when they did arrive I just happened to walk in and ask about them an the had arrived 4 days prior...then was told they don't carry the drains for them! Even though that question was SPECIFICALLY asked when the order was placed. I ripped 3 managers and 1 salesperson during the 3 1/2 weeks I waited on these sinks. This store single handed held up 3 contractors and did not care one bit! Only other reason we will return is to take back the rest of their "F" ups! Oh yes, ordered $1200 worth of flooring and they sent me concrete mix for sidewalks...not tile! JUST CAN'T FIX STUPID!

***UPDATE, if I could give a zero, I definitely would! Round 2 today. I was supposed to have my delivery on Sunday... morning the guy said kore than likely Monday...so I waited. 2pm came still no delivery. I called the store....no answer. Called back 2 more times...someone finally picks up but only to be placed on hold. Someone else picks up...don't even get a chance to repeat my concern...she just puts me hold. Then someone else picks up...I repeat my concern again...without warning she transfers me. That person answers...she can't look up my account and says I have to contact the store. (Which is where I initially called). I call the store back...someone answers....I repeat again...placed on hold for 20 minutes....then she picks up again...she can't find my order...finally finds it and then says "let me contact appliances". On hold for another 20 minutes just so she can tell me..."it will be delivered on Wednesday because the truck is full" So I told her "no it's not my fault that it wasn't placed on the truck, I need it no later than Tuesday" she puts me on hold midway as I'm talking...so now I'm really pissed off. As I arrived to the store she says " I can't put it for tomorrow, it won't allow me to" So I tell her "that's fine, I'm walking into the store now" I spoke to a supervisor, and asked "where the miscommunication was because I didn't understand why it took almost an hour so someone can tell me I wouldn't be getting my delivery until Wednesday!" There customer service is so Effin ridiculous. Whomever answered the phone when I called needs some serious training. That is what pissed me off the most....NO COMMUNICATION!! This would be my last time purchasing here. Would not recommend anyone I know there. ----

Such Incompetent people work at this location. There was a return that my husband mad made a few days ago, for some reason the transaction amount was put back onto an in-store credit card vs my debit card for an Insurance claim. My husband got so frustrated with trying to make the return of the items, he just settled for the in-store credit figured it would be a easy fix another day since he had our kids with him at the time. Today I went in to try and correct the error with the in-store credit amount I needed to get to be put back into the insurance account. The manager was not helpful, told the customer service person to call IT and see if they can figure it out. They said if they would've called that day then it would've been fine. So now I am stuck with an in-store credit of $168 that I can't turn into the insurance company. When I tried to use the in-store credit, the card was locked because the original customer service representative that made the return did not enter and the drivers license number correctly. So I had to spend additional 30 minutes at the store location yesterday and had to have the entire card reset. This has been one issue after another to the point where I do not even want to go to the store anymore, I'd rather drive to the Woodlands or a different location in order to make a purchase. I would rather just go to Home Depot and at least my orders and customer service would be right.

Conroe tx lowes! Went to the garden section looking for plants. I just move to tx 3mos ago and im coming from PA so not sure how weather is here. So i asked the older blonde employee if this one plant was an annual or perennial cause it wasnt marked she told me that everyone has a cell phone nowadays open it up and type it in. Ten min later i didnt want to but i asked the same rude lady if they have purple fountain grass. She screams no its winter we r just starting to get stuff in. I told her that i bought a couple plants yesterday from a nursery and should i hold off on planting them yet? She yells to her co worker its so warm are u gna open ur pool its just so warm wtf.. I just left i will never go back 2 that lowes ever again idc how much i would save.

So frustrated with their customer service. Went in and bought a fridge over a month ago, set up a delivery date. Got no call to confirm delivery so the day before delivery was scheduled tried to call to confirm. Shipping desk never answered the phone. Finally got someone at the appliances desk who looks dup the order and said it was backordered for three weeks. She was quite polite and apologized that no-one had called us and promised to have a manager call. Never got that call. Ok, so 2 1/2 weeks later I'm calling again to see if I can confirm delivery. This time the delivery desk picked up and immediately put me on hold without warning. Waited on hold for 7 minutes then got some clicking noises and a dead line. Called back and said I was trying to find the status of our delivery but got put on hold and then cut off, so I was trying again. It sounded like the same person that I talked to the first time today, so I thought she might recognize the call. Nope, she said "ok" and dumped me on hold again. Been on hold for 10 minutes this time. Grrr.

Lowe's The bottom line is I paid for item at Lowe's. While I was at store buying the. Items ( totaling over $300). When I discovered that I didn't have the items I called the store was told by a manager that at my Lea sure I could bring the recite and I would be refunded for the items I was missing and would be given a copy of the recite for the 300 dollars scroll saw that I purchased. When I went to the store the manager I spoke with whose name was Mike didn't exist.. I explained what I needed and was told that I was lying about not getting the items and they would be no refund. I called Corporate and was given a run around and never given an answer but hung up on twice and once they did answer I was told that they would contact the manager and make sure it didn't happen to anyone else. The Customer service person told me that they did not have the authority to do anything else I asked for a supervisor I waited on the phone for 20 more minutes after initially waiting on the phone for an hour to talk to the lady came back on and asked me the address of the store that I had visited put me on hold again and never came back.

Worst customer service ever. Shelly is the worst customer service person ever. Bad attitude with customer. I will never ever buy from this store ever again. Matt the service manager is just as bad as shelly. Do not I repeat do not shop from here . Go to another location. Washer messed up only 45 days old and wont exchange it. 800 waste of money. Hope someone says something or do something to Shelly. Ask for general manager and they blew me off several times. Finally after 5 times asking they finally told me his name. I hope something it is done to Shelly.

Prices at Lowes always seem a bit high. I was looking at square vinyl tiles for a laundry room. Prices were remarkably higher than competitors (Home Depot/Online) Parking is convenient, love their outdoor/plant section. I enjoyed my visit here this past weekend.

HEY LOWES!! I wonder why the last 10 reviews are 1 star. Yep . . . your right. . . because they don't allow no stars! This is the worst Lowes on the planet . . .and it has been for years . . . and no one cares. If you stopped and took a leak on isle 4 it would still be cleaner than the mens bathrooms. I have never been here when there is not two or three stall that are out of order (Your a Home Improvement store . . . run over to Home Depot and get some parts and fix them!!). There are always paper towel on the floor and the last time the bathroom was mopped was during the Truman administration. This is a nasty store. Who runs this place? Good news Home Depot is only a few blocks away. I had a new roof installed by a Lowe's in North Carolina for about $6500. So when it was time to get a new roof in Texas I decided to give them a call. The NC house was a little smaller so I was expecting a $9000 - $10,000 bill for this house. It took 4 days for Brian to get back to me with a $14,500 bid. Wow! And that was with the 30% discount on the shingles. A couple of quick calls and I found 4 contractors that would all do the job for under $11,500. "Well we can get you a cheaper shingle . . . let me get you a price on that one" . . .He never called back. Go to Home Depot people - this place sucks.

I visited this Lowe's 4 times in one day this week. It was all for plumbing pvc and I had a horrible experience each time. Nothing was in the right place. I bought elbows 1/4 in too small because they were in the wrong box and had to make another trip back. I told his to the customer service rep while returning the wrong ones and the cashier when purchasing the new ones. No one cared. The guy in plumbing tried to sell me irrigation piping (with holes) when I asked him where to find the sewage piping. I didn't end up with sewage piping but my husband said what I bought will work.

If I could put a zero star I would. I spent $864.00 bucks on a generator that work 4 hours max and wouldn't work anymore then I've only had it 3 days I took it back to Lowe's and they tell me I have to pay then to fix it WTF I paid for it on 2/15/2021 and brought it back 2/18/2021 not for a refund which I have my receipt but just for it to be fix. I will never again spend a dime there

According to Yelp!, I've now been here 93 times over the last 5 years. I haven't had any problems. I like their app--I can instantly find where an item is located, and returns have been easy, especially using the MyLowe's card. I haven't done any special orders, tile, flooring, etc., so I can't speak about that. I'd recommend Lowe's if you're in Conroe, and it's in a convenient location.

I recently placed an order online to pick up in the store. Due to Covid-19 I was excited they have no contact pickup. I pulled into a spot and called the number as instructed. No answer, the phone just rang. When someone finally answered they had to transfer me to pickup (which is in the same spot as customer service) and still no answer. So I was forced to get my mask and walk inside. I walked in to find 2 associates, Tammy and Angie...talking to each other and NO CUSTOMERS! Then they proceeded to finished their conversation before even acknowledging I was there. Then I told them I tried to call and nobody answered and they said oh is your phone turned down. So are they purposely ignoring calls? Then I had to wait again for her to find and retrieve my order which isn't a big deal...technology. But I had already been waiting in my car, and now I'm waiting again. While Tammy was finding my order I saw a bunch of associates just standing around talking to each other. As a fellow retail worker who has worked ALL OF COVID just like them, I am extremely upset with the customer service at this location. Maybe some extra training on customer service would be a good idea. A simple hello how are you? How may I help you? Even a hello, I will be with you in just a moment? Thank you for your patience...Goes a LONG way. I am happy with my products but will maybe opt to have my items delivered in the future to avoid dealing with the associates at this store.

Bought a 9' Christmas Tree at this Lowes today. The guy running the Christmas Trees had to be pried away from his cashier chat session to help us. He could not put the tree through the netting machine because the tree was too big according to him. WHY DOES LOWES NOT HAVE THE CORRECT NETTING MACHINE? He could not tie down the tree to our SUV roof due to insurance reasons. I tied it down with his string. Don't buy Christmas trees at Lowes. Terrible service.

I wish I could give zero stars. Saturday I purchased all new kitchen appliances from the Lowe's in Conroe TX. I chose the appliances that were "available ", in store and I was promised delivery the following day. Needless to say this promise was broken. The on duty store manager "Greg" was no help and needless to say I was forced to cancel the order as Lowe's lied about the availability of their inventory, or their staff is just poorly trained. 3hours of my day was wasted making the purchase. Another hour was wasted playing phone tag with Greg and the other staff the following day attempting to remedy this. I emailed Marvin Ellison (CEO), and customer service with my concern and a description of this horrible experience. Since I have a long history with Lowe's which they have documented in their system, I thought maybe I would get a call from someone today. Someone in management who cares enough to make this right or prevent this from happening to the next guy. I was wrong.

Lowe's in Conroe WAS my go to store for all of the projects for my new home. I was able to order items online and there was a dedicated pickup desk. I didn't have to send my wife with a list hoping to find the correct item. The folks at the pickup desk were excellent and helped my wife, so she didn't dread doing errands for me, while I continued to work. In someone's idea or reorganizing they did away with the pickup desk and to say things have taken a dive in an understatement. The women at the customer service desk are not helpful and quite often lazy. Recently, a young Lady with multicored hair waited on us but was rude and basically unaware of her job in customer service. I accept all of my receipts as email instead of paper. I tried to return a $5 part and the Lady asked for the receipt. I said it was on My Lowe"s account or email and she said she didn't have time to look that up, it was my responsibiluty to have a receipt. The refund was $5.97 so instead of making change she just gave me $6. Lazy! I sent my wife in for grout I ordered on line , with listing of 7 bags available but no one could find the grout on two separate trips. I drove down the street and bought it at Home Depot. That sealed my ideas about where to shop...NOT LOWE'S.

All I needed was a price quote on 3 pieces of special order hardware. After waiting 15-20 minutes in the cabinet department, I was told I needed an appointment with the ONE and ONLY lady who works in THAT department. Looks like I'll be getting my solid brass vintage style Baldwin door knobs and rosettes elsewhere.

The new inventory management system that Lowe's employees utilize regarding placing orders for customers is not effective. I waited a couple hours in the Conroe store due to this system "timing out" when placing an order for several appliances. The following day I received a call from the kingwood branch at 6:38am stating that my entire order was canceled because they could not fulfill one of my items on the invoice due to the system not working properly. After several days of speaking with multiple people from the appliance department, and a sales manager in kingwood branch (who never followed up) my order was not fixed. My last attempt to resolve my order, I spoke with Amber (who works in the cabinet department at the Conroe branch). Amber advised me to revisit the Conroe branch to replace my order. Additionally, she scheduled an appointment to reduce time. Furthermore, she had everything from my previous order pulled up. All I had to do was to confirm the transaction. Amber was the only one who went out of her way to ensure that my order was fixed, and her customer service impressed me. If it were not for her, Lowe's would have lost my future business to one of their competitors.

I had a delivery scheduled for 5/1 between 8:30-10:30am. At 9:30am on 5/1, I received a call from XPO delivery service that my product wasn't delivered to warehouse and therefore did not make it onto the delivery truck. She rescheduled my delivery for 5/9. On 5/9, I receive another call that my product wasn't delivered to warehouse and therefore did not make it onto the delivery truck. Again. The woman who called rescheduled for 5/11. On 5/11, I received neither a call nor a delivery. I called and was left on hold for 20 minutes while they looked for my order. Finally, I was told that my original order had been place wrong and did not have a P.O. attached to it, so it had apparently been lost in the system. The woman told me she was re-ordering the product with a new order number, and it would be delivered on 5/17. I was irate that I was being told that I'd have to wait yet another week, so I drove to the Lowe's store where I made my purchase and was assured that the error with the order had indeed been corrected, and that I'd definitely get my delivery on 5/17. Today is 5/17, and I have not received my delivery. I've called multiple phone numbers and spoken with multiple people, and nobody seems to be able to help me. Over the last two weeks I've taken FOUR days off work to be available to accept this delivery, and spent countless hours on the phone on hold being passed from person to person. I have no idea what I did to deserve this seventh circle of hell.

Do not order from this lowes!! We ordered carpet weeks before we knew we would need it just to be safe. After two different arrival dates that have come and gone we are still without carpet. When we call to find information no one seems to know what is going on or how to read what is on their computer program. Seriously, do not order anything through this store.
