It’s a white tablecloth restaurant with high ceilings, French shutters, and modern art hanging above a long banquette. But LPM isn’t just a place to be seen, it’s a good restaurant that makes our favorite escargot in the city. And if you love French Mediterranean food and have about $300 to spare, come here. Just know that two-tops are a little too close together, so be prepared to make friends with the couple sitting next to you. The dining room, bathed in natural light and adorned with colorful contemporary art and crisp white tablecloths, sets the stage for everything from business lunches to special date nights. Don’t miss the unique Tomatini cocktail — a refreshing blend of tomato, vodka, and balsamic that’s both tangy and sweet all at the same time. "Brickell's LPM is another fancy spot where you'll find no shortage of white tablecloths and round tables. It's not a very energetic restaurant, so don't expect a DJ booth next to the bar. The servers here wear suits and the dining room feels palatial. The food includes dishes like escargot, fried zucchini flowers (beignets de fleurs de courgette), and risotto. Both LPM's price point and personality mean there’s a good chance you are celebrating something if you're coming here. "LPM is a French restaurant in Brickell that’s fancy, but not in a stuffy way. There are white tablecloths and servers in ties, but it’s not the kind of quiet dining room where everyone will turn and look at you if you drop a fork. It is still fancy enough for high heels and freshly dry-cleaned clothes though. It’s not our favorite French spot in Miami, but the food is solid, the cocktails are great, and it’s one of the better fancy-pants options in Brickell." - ryan pfeffer
