This is definitely in an area where I would be cautious. No seating available inside. The quality of the seafood was good. I enjoyed my crabs the seasoning was pretty simple but yet very tasty. I would definitely go back.

My first time here at this establishment…it’s located in the hood so I decided to give it a try….cause all the hood spots are normally good…as soon as I walked in I was greeted with a warm welcome…..it’s not the cleanest spot but they have a great customer service…so I ordered the lunch special an it was delicious and it was only 14 dollars an 1 dollar extra for a cup of butter ….i will definitely be back…they also have a great prices for raw meat also….

I went here thinking everything they cooked was live, but it's not. The crawfish was parboiled, but the blue crabs were okay. They did allow me to bring them back. I get live seafood from the farmer's market so I know the difference. Please ask first if you have a preference.

I’ve truly enjoyed everything I’ve ordered here— Seafood boil, po boys, fish, lobster, shrimp, crab, mussels. Not to mention, the smoothies are delicious! The wait is never too long and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Glad LT New Orleans is in ATL!

I had the cooked Blue crabs , shrimp corn and potatoes. Overall I enjoyed the crabs. Big , meaty and spicy. They let me pick out my live crabs and d cooked them fresh. It's hard to find blue crabs in Atlanta.. a little pricey but good

Yelp
I am originally from Baltimore Maryland. Home of the Blue Crabs. Steamed to Perfection. So the one thing I can say is they know what they are doing for the most part, probably only 2 crabs out of my dozen were a little overcooked but I only ordered the dozen because I didn't know what the place had to offer. I can honestly say I am impressed and I will be going back to Football Sunday and Crabs tradition every once in a while.

Yelp
I typically never buy crawfish from seafood markets in Atlanta, but on Fat Tuesday, I was feeling homesick for Louisiana and broke my rule. Unfortunately, I should have stuck to it. This was actually the second seafood market I went to that evening because I had to throw away food from the first place. The usual spots I frequent were packed and had ridiculously high prices, so I decided to try LT New Orleans Seafood Market by ordering on DoorDash. I ordered 3 lbs of crawfish, with one of those pounds including broccoli, sausage, corn, and potatoes. When I arrived, I noticed the restaurant was closer to West End Mall. The area didn't bother me, but the musty, old smell inside did. When they handed me my tray of crawfish, I was immediately skeptical. It did not look like 3 lbs, and as someone who has been eating crawfish since birth, I know what 3 lbs should look like. Already hungry and frustrated, I asked for it to be weighed. At first, I was speaking to the male owner, but then a female owner jumped in, immediately getting defensive. She started insisting they don't cheat people. That wasn't the point--I just wanted to confirm the weight. She told the man to remove the shrimp and vegetables, and I agreed. As he did, she kept saying crawfish shrinks when cooked, which made it clear they weigh before cooking. After weighing, the crawfish and juices totaled 2.64 lbs--not 3 lbs. They offered a refund, but I declined and took the food. The crawfish were decent, and I liked the broccoli, but at that point, I was over it. I ate just to avoid wasting money. I won't be back.

Yelp
I went back when I shouldn't have but this last time solidified me NEVER returning. When I walked in I looked at the seafood in the counters and ALL of it looked frost burned and rancid. I had placed my order online but if I knew the seafood looked like that in the cases I would have saved myself a trip. The weird man at the front kept pressing me telling me to show him my order on door dash (I ordered thru google). I told him that and he acted like he didn't want to give me my food. I showed him my confirmation and he kept pressing me to hit the "I picked up my order on door dash" even though I kept explaining i DIDNT USE DOOR DASH. So annoying. Like just give me my food. I ordered 2 lbs of Jumbo crawfish. They gave me regular sized crawfish but didn't bother to adjust the price. They did not taste fresh and were extremely hard to get out the shell. THREW THEM OUT. tried the crab legs , same deal. These people prey on the folks who patronage them. Absolutely go anywhere else beside here.

Yelp
Hello good people out here in Atlanta! On Saturday, March 16, 2024, and up until that day, I thought I had found a live blue crab seafood company that was on the up and up, but that day was the breaking point of my hunt for live blue crabs and how desperate these companies are to make a buck. Given the fact I am from and born and raised in New Orleans, (NOLA) these impostors that have been displaying jumbo live blue crabs on their sites as the "Best in Atlanta" has Lied on so many levels. I wasted my gas going down there after the representative told me he had #1 large blue crabs. I get there and (1) they don't let you pick them out yourself and (2) they bag them up so you can't see them b4 they charge you. When he brought them out it was these small crabs that they went up on price from last week of $10.99lb to $12.49lb. A couple came in after me after they saw me disputing what they were trying to sell me, they looked at them, heard the price, and walked out. I told them I was from NOLA and you will never get anyone to pay outlandish prices like that for crabs they misrepresented to the customer. I promised them they will be disappointed with their Greedy Results and will lose all their money for trying to Rip Off The Customer! ATTN ATLANTA: BEWARE AND DO NOT PATRIONIZE THIS PLACE!!! THE OWNER IS GREEDY FOR MONEY. YOU DO BETTER TO ORDER YOUR LIVE BLUE CRABS ONLINE AND PAY FOR THEM FOR WHAT YOU WANT AND EXPECT!!! MS. DENISE H.

Yelp
I got the steamed blue crabs. They were over steamed and the meat was too mushy to eat. Crabs did not taste fresh at all. I'm a Florida girl, I know fresh seafood. Lastly, I ate as much of 1 as I could and less than 10 min later, my stomach is hurting. It's a shame too because the crabs were very big and full of mushy meat! Save yourself, and a tummy ache. I would take a pic but I threw it all away.

Yelp
I've ordered from this place before and it was good but this time I ordered some shrimp, potatoes, sausage and crab legs. I found a damn ROACH on my crab legs. I was beyond furious and wanted to throw up. This is unacceptable. Now I'm thinking that their kitchen is dirty and they cooking with dirty pots and pans. God know what other insects or rodents is cooking in that grease with the food smh. IM NOT EATING HERE AGAIN!!!! I just wasted $30.

Yelp
Wow it's like they get better and better with time . Everything was cooked to order . It was fresh and delicious . They still take EBT as a form of payment . It cost $1 to cool if you use EBT. You can always call your order ahead of time if needed . You get to choose and season your own food. I don't know what type of Tatar sauce they use but it's disgusting Yuck yuck !!! Sauces cost $0.50 ex Tatar sauce , butter , cocktail

Yelp
I have been going to LT New Orleans Seafood restaurant for years and have been highly recommending them to friends and anyone else who would listen because the employees there were always very kind and very professional and the food was great. But today I visited the restaurant and 2 things happened that guaranteed I will never go there again and I will stop sending people there. I just reported them to the Department of Health. It was a terrible experience because: 1. I ordered shrimp and I found a live roach was under one of the shrimp. It was on its back with its feet moving. 2. There was a different man working there and he was not friendly at all and he starting yelling at this elderly female customer in a wheel chair. She never raised her voice or anything and she just left. He was so rude to her. The roach was enough to make me stop going and the rudeness of this worker also had a huge impact. Lastly, I just noticed that another customer reported on this same site that a roach was in their crab legs. We need to be more diligent about where we eat. This is surely not the place! Please see the picture below.

Yelp
In Houston, they call these "U Buy, We Fry" Shops, and they are fairly common. Ain't that right, Sunnyside/H-Town? Here, I haven't seen many of these shops, so it was nice to find one. There are all sorts of fresh fish- flounder, bass, red fish, catfish, whiting, crab, scallops, oysters, clams, lobsters, etc. You pay by the pound for what you'd like, and you can choose to have them cook the food there for you, or you can take it home. I'm going to try their crab legs, and have them cook them. Having spent 16 years in Boston (adopted home) I think I make pretty mean crab legs for much less (catch 'em on sale at Kroger for $11.99lb), so we'll see what they do. One night, when my first choice, the sandwich shop a few doors down, was closed, I tried their catfish, and I am saddened to report that it was not very tasty- at all. Whatever they fried it in was hard and made a hard protective shell around the fish. It was pretty bad actually. I received one small serving of tartar sauce with my 2 piece fish order and was advised that any additional would be 50 cents each. Ok. Stars may be revisited after the crab legs, but shall stand for now. Oh. The proprietors were very nice. However, I was not pleased to see a Mary Norwood for Mayor sign in their front window. At all. Says a lot about what they think of the people that are the majority of their patrons. Well. At least the ones that I saw while I was in the store.

Yelp
They close at 9pm yet I just pulled up at 8:35pm and the employees are turning off the lights and locking the doors. Im still in the parking lot writing this review as cars are pulling up and trying to figure out what happened. I've been coming here for a while and when the owner used to be in the store more this was never an issue. This is the third time I've come to them being closed early and on top of that the lady always has an attitude and the customer service has gone down plenty. I'm just not pleased and quite upset to be honest. I've spent over $500 total here over time and this isn't what I expect or the type of service I used to receive. This review would be at least 2 stars if the man wouldn't have waved me off and ignored me when I asked him "I thought y'all closed at 9?". Just rude.

Yelp
I love their #2 on the steamed menu! Which is Turkey necks, 5 shrimp, broccoli, corn & potatoes. I always add an egg & 1 lb. of crawfish to my order. Love here for my quick seafood & turkey necks fix!

Yelp
They charge you for every condiment. Hot sauce. Come on . total disrespect for their customers. That tells me that they don't care about the people they serve. They sell frozen seafood. When they weigh your fish it weighs more frozen. Told one of the workers about it and they seemed to not to understand.

LeJeanne L.

Yelp
This was my first and last time here! I planned to order sausage corn and potato but they were out of corn so I ordered a crab cake which was beyond horrible! Tasted like it was made of old snow crab and prepared as if it were salmon croquette. This is truly not what I had in mind. I don't think I want to try anything else. I was told it was 75% crab meat and I assumed that would be a lump crab or something comparable. Do to theor no refund policy , I tried to eat it but it was to awful to complete. Bye bye $8

Yelp
Very Friendly staff..fast service and the food is always good..My usual is the #13. It has steamed fish of choice..scallops..shrimp..potatoes..corn and broccoli and occasionally I get the small family size Crableg platter with crab legs..shrimp..broccoli..corn and potatoes..I think it comes with crawfish but I just get extra shrimp. They always give me enough sauce even extra if ask and without charging me..I've sent all my friends and family here and they all love it too..Try it out!

Yelp
The staff is very friendly and the people are cool. The food taste greasy and it doesn't taste all that great nither. I find it hard to believe somebody would give this place five stars.

Yelp
Very friendly staff and excellent food. Probably the best broccoli I have ever eaten. Prices are very reasonable.

Yelp
The fried fish was alright and the price was alright. Service was alright. You can get them to fry 17 pounds of fish and they will give you one sauce for free. You can order a fish and shrimp combo and only get one sauce for free. If you want hot sauce and tartar sauce, you will have to pay $0.50 for one of them. This is nickle and dime and the manager wants to justify this "bag fee" by saying other restaurants do it and that it's a "neighborhood" trait.
