It is supposed to be one of the best concert halls in the world and have the best acoustic.
For once, it is giant.
Yes, you can hear well even if you're hanging off the light fixture on the last floor.
However, my experience was not good.
I'm not sure it's good idea trying to make halls bigger and bigger. Sitting on the level 4 gives you the experience of a bird trying to see a concert from the top of the 7-story building, but without due protection. Many people suffer from vertigo, as I am, and that was very upsetting and not pleasant.
Acousticwise I wasn't happy either: the resulting sound seemed to be "packaged" in a way, didn't sound real, like it was doctored in some way. The attack of the sound was completely missing (It was a Symphony).
The materials inside the hall itself are cold and industrial...
May be we should go back to the good old smaller concert halls and wood paneling? Just saying....
